Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is effectiveness of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model and Problem Based Learning (PPBL) approach to the motivation of thematic learning of grade 4 elementary school students. The type of research used is quasi experimental research. The sampling technique used purposive stratified disproportionate sampling technique. This data analysis technique using average difference test (t test). The normality of the experimental group is 0.243> 0.05 and the control group is 0.438> 0.05, the two groups are normally distributed. The homogeneity of the experimental group and the control group was 0.595> 0.05, the experimental group and the control group were homogeneous. The results showed t count 8.564> t table 1.997, then Ha accepted means there is the effectiveness of NHT and PPBL models on the motivation of thematic learning 4th grade elementary school students. Significance of 0.000 <0,05, then Ha accepted means there is effectiveness of NHT model and PPBL to motivation of thematic learning of 4th grade elementary school students meaningful. The mean of experimental learning motivation of experiment group is 49,88 and control group equal to 41,38. The average difference between thematic motivation of experimental group and control group is 8.5. The advice given is that teachers are expected to use the NHT and PPBL models in designing the lesson, so that the thematic learning motivation can be improved.Keywords: Model of NHT and PPBL, Thematic Learning Motivation, Thematic Learning

Abstract

The background of this research is the training of one of the efforts to realize the resources of quality apparatus through leadership training, the success of training institute is projected, that is: can print professional ASN realize East Kalimantan forward 2018, improve the implementation of national / international standard apparatus training, lecturers' quantity (widya iswara), improving the facilities of sapras supporting the repetitive and technological learning process and realizing the competence of civil state apparatus for changes in leadership management. This research method is aimed to explain hypothesis of influence and relationship based on theory and explain and prove the truth of influence and relationship that is influence of budget, instructor, and sapras (individual and simultaneous) to implementation of training and training result at East Kalimantan Provincial Human Resource Development Board. Based on the essence of the problem and the results of data analysis research can be concluded that the budget allocation of APBD has a positive and significant impact on the effectiveness of the implementation of the training. In terms of the size of the budget affects the effectiveness of the implementation of the training, instructor competence has a positive and significant impact on the effectiveness of the implementation of the training, sapras conditions have a positive and significant impact on the effectiveness of the implementation of the training, budget allocation has a positive and significant impact on the results of training, have a positive and significant effect on the results of the training, sapras conditions have a positive and significant impact on the results of the training, the effectiveness of the implementation of education and training has a positive and significant impact on the results of the training, budget allocation of APBD, instructor competence, and sapras conditions simultaneously have influence which is positive and significant to the effectiveness of the implementation of the training, budget allocation of APBD, instructor competence, sapras conditions, and effectiveness of the implementation of the training simultaneously have a positive and significant influence t to the results of the training.Keywords: Effectiveness, Competence, Budget Allocation

Abstract

This study aims to (1) To obtain in-depth information about the implementation of character learning conducted in Our Children Preschool (2) To obtain information about the supporting and inhibiting factors Planting the character values in our children Preschool Samarinda. The research approach used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection includes (1) Observation, (2) In-depth interview, (3) Field Records, (4) Documentation. Data analysis techniques used interactive analysis model developed by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, display data, and withdrawal of conclusions / verification. The results showed: (1) Implementation of Learning Values of early childhood characters in our children Preschool is done through daily learning activities in the center and activities supporting the theme of outdoor activity with the strategy approach through exemplary by giving a good example of behavior , the nature and the way of thinking, the method of habituation by way of character plantings that are done regularly and continuously to train the child to have good habits, the method of story, that is by using a story that contains the incident experienced by a person, group, or others, advice by using advice. (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors in learning Implementation Early Childhood Character Values in Our Children Preschool Samarinda, among others, from parents, students and educators.Keywords: Character Values, Learning, Early Childhood

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research aimed to improve science learning through visual media in grade 3 students A SDN 004 Pinang Seribu. This research was conducted in SDN 004 Pinang Seribu with research subjects of Class III A students, amounting to 30 students, consisting of 18 male students and 12 female students and the object of research is visual media. The study was conducted in three cycles. Cycle I held three meetings. Cycle II was held three meetings and cycle III was held three times, where every third meeting cycle was conducted evaluation test in the form of problem. Problem evaluation test learning each cycle shaped stuffing. Data were collected with documentation, end-cycle tests, and observations. The results showed that the activity of teachers and students as a whole is considered sufficient, whereas in cycle II, the activities of teachers and students as a whole experienced changes and improvements to be good. Where at the beginning before the cycle obtained an average score of 49.6, in the first cycle the average value that can reach 54.5 students, in cycle II the average value of 68.3 and the average third cycle that can be achieved 83, 6. Based on the research results can be concluded that visual media can improve the learning outcomes of science in grade III students A Pinang Seribu.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Weather and Its Influence for Humans, Visual Media

Abstract

This study aims to increase critical thinking skills of students with inquiry methods and to describe the implementation of an inquiry methods on science competence. This research is classroom action research, which consisted of three cycles. This study was conducted in Elementary School Pasi Pinang academic year 2017/2018. The objects were all students of class V consisting of 24 students.The data were collected using tests, The results show that the implementation of the inquiry methods can improve students' critical thinking skills in science competencies.Keywords: Critical thinking skills, method inquiry

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode demontrasi dan media audio visual. Penelitian ini dilakukan Di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Pitara 2 Kecamatan Pancoranmas Kota Depok yang jumlah 41 peserta didik, terdiri dari 27 laki-laki dan 14 orang perempuan. Proses Penelitian ini terdiri dari Prasiklus, Siklus 1 dan Siklus 2. Pada saat prasiklus diketahui nilai rata-rata peserta didik sebesar 65,5 nilai masih dibawah KKM 75,00. sehingga perlu diadakan perbaikan kembali. Maka pada siklus I menunjukkan hasil belajar siswa 69,3 % dan meningkat menjadi 87,3 % pada siklus II. Pada siklus ini telah dicapai ketuntasan belajar karena nilai rata-rata peserta didik telah mencapai diatas nilai KKM. Dari hasil penelitian ini maka diketahui bahwa penggunan metode demontrasi melaui media gambar pada audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta.

Abstract

Public policy is one of the implementations of formal high school and SMKA education management by the provincial government while the elementary, junior and senior high school levels are managed by the district and city governments and refer to Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government and revised by the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 9 of 2015 states that dividing government affairs between the central, provincial and district or city governments, especially in the field of education. Relating to the policy of implementing education in a decentralized or fully autonomous manner, it is managed by the provincial government, one of which is the management of high school and vocational schools. The education autonomy policy is meant to include management of education, teaching staff, education facilities and infrastructure, and education budget including the welfare of education and placement of educators. The provincial education policy is a strategic sign for measuring the annual performance of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government as one of the efforts to improve the performance of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in the fields of senior high school and vocational high school education. Provincial education policies can be realized objectively transparently, and evidenced by the number or quantity of high school and vocational education institutions, especially teachers either civil servant or honorary status. Provincial education policies at the high school and vocational level can implement SWOT strategic planning management to measure, supervise, and evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges and formulas for strategic plans.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the impact of social environment against achievement of social science at students of SD Inpres Perumnas Antang of Manggala subdistrict of Makassar. Type of research was ex post facto using quantitative research. This research was conducted at SD Inpres Perumnas Antang of Manggala subdistrict of Makassar. Instrument of research was questionnaire to obtain variable data about social environment. Analysis data techniques were descriptive and inferential analyses by using SPSS version 20.0 for windows. Based on descriptive analysis, parents (mother and father) had moderate education level (senior high school) and parents’ jobs were mostly entrepreneur (father) and housewife (mother). Inferential analysis showed that sig.0.000 < α =0.05, H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Therefore, there was impact of social environment against achievement of social science at students of SD Inpres Perumnas Antang of Manggala subdistrict of Makassar. It can be concluded that there is impact of impact of social environment against achievement of social science at students of SD Inpres Perumnas Antang of Manggala subdistrict of Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership of the Principal with the performance of teachers, the influence of teacher work motivation with teacher performance, the influence of leadership of Principal and teacher work motivation together with teacher performance. The population of this research is 90 elementary school teachers in 9 primary schools. Given the population is limited then this study is a population study where the sample research is the entire population of teachers in the State Elementary School Samarinda Ilir. The research method used quantitative method with regression analysis. The result of descriptive analysis revealed that the performance of teacher of majority in medium category that is equal to 63%, majority of headmaster leadership in medium category that is equal to 71%, and at work motivation of majority teacher in medium category that is equal to 69,6%. So that is so descriptively both teacher performance, Principal leadership and teacher work motivation is in medium category. The results of the study found that: (a) there was influence of Headmaster Leader's variables (X1) with teacher performance variable (Y) at the strong closeness level, that is 0,749 with coefficient determination 0,561, and regression equation Ŷ = 67,402 +0,456 X1 (b ) There is influence of teacher work motivation variable (X2) with teacher performance variable (Y) at moderate level, that is 0,749 with coefficient determination 0,561, and regression equation Ŷ = 60,734 + 0,572X2 (C) there is influence of leadership variable of Principal (X1) and teacher work motivation variable (X2) together with teacher performance variable (Y) at strong level of closeness, that is equal to 0,774 with coefficient determination 0,600 and regression equation Ŷ = 57,299 + 0.340 X1 + 0.236X2. The conclusion of this research is that improving the performance of elementary school teachers in Samarinda Ilir can be done by improving principal leadership and teacher work motivation.
