Abstract

Islamic religious education is education that is used as a human foundation to build a spiritual soul in the series. In addition, religious education will also improve human morals for the better. Islamic religious education is an education that must be intensified in the negative influence of the progress of globalization. Early childhood education is an important education, because early childhood is a generation that is still easy to accept all events and events. Thus the researchers carried out research on the management of religious character guidance at the early childhood level at RA Hidayatussyiban Lancar, Wadaslintang. The research was carried out with descriptive qualitative methods, and was supported through data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. And then the data is analyzed by data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Through the techniques carried out, data were obtained related to the management of religious character guidance at RA Hidattusyiban which showed the results that the organization carried out in RA in the learning category was carried out with a cooperative pattern by RA teachers. Then as for the organization in the categories of programs consisting of: 1) Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing Program, 2) Islamic Story Program, 3) Knowing Arabic Program, 4) Worship Practice Program. The implementation stages found were through habits consisting of: 1) memorizing prayers and short letters, 2) praying and practicing ablution, 3) reading the Koran, and 4) Islamic stories. The evaluation stages carried out by the teacher are: 1) socialization to parents of students, 2) evaluation of children's abilities after following the applied learning.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine the efficacy of social media as an alternative to using Online Learning Media to add new knowledge and information and assist with assignments, particularly for technical matters, at Allodia Vocational High School Bekasi City during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is currently underway. This study employs a research and development strategy, with research instruments consisting of a validation questionnaire and a product attractiveness rating questionnaire delivered in the form of a Google form. The findings revealed that students' use of social media as a learning medium was quite beneficial. This could be because practically all students have social media profiles and are therefore highly familiar with them. According to the study findings, the practicality of teaching materials uploaded on social media is very possible, according to 75% of media presentation experts, 82% of material experts, and 70% of linguists. As a result, adopting social media as a learning medium throughout the COVID-19 period is highly beneficial.

Abstract

The success of madrasas in achieving goals is strongly influenced by the madrasa climate, one of which is effective madrasa administration. To support the effective administration of madrasas, administrative staff are needed who have competence in accordance with the administrative staff standards set by the government. Therefore, the fulfillment of the qualification and competency standards for school/madrasah administrative staff must be met by school/madrasah administrators. Adequate competence of madrasah administrative staff will result in high performance of administrative staff. This study aims to describe the relationship between the Competence of Administrative Personnel and the Performance of Madrasah Administrative Personnel in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Bekasi City. This research is descriptive, using a quantitative approach to the type of correlation. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the competence of administrative staff has a significant relationship with the performance of madrasa administrative staff at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Bekasi City. Calculation of the correlation coefficient analysis shows the number 0.888, which means that there is a relationship with the "Very High" category.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the form of readiness in implementing the Merdeka Campus Curriculum. Many difficulties were experienced by students when learning online, namely 85.71% had difficulty understanding the concepts and 14% the principles used. This fact does not stand alone. The results of a survey of 120 students showed that 90% of the educators had difficulty implementing the material. There are 8 implementation programs at State Universities and Private Universities in Indonesia that are being implemented. This aims to involve students and lecturers in collaborating with schools and industry online and face to face. However, it is not yet known the impact on the positive. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a constructivist paradigm. Data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews and distribution of instruments. The object is the university that organizes it and the subject is students and lecturers. The results of the study show that the implementation still varies because there are study programs that have implemented it and some that have not, because there are still obstacles, both internal and external. Universities need to provide adequate facilities, infrastructure and applications to implement the program. The Study Program also needs to prepare qualified lecturers in handling the courses offered. The conclusion in the research needs to be increased and active activities in each Study Program

Abstract

Education, especially Islamic education, with a pluralist-multicultural paradigm, urgently needs to be immediately designed in the learning process. The world of semi-Islamic boarding schools or dormitories is undoubtedly no stranger to its positive and negative sides. It is often heard that the hostel is an arena for fading a sense of nationalism in the souls of the younger generation. The application of multicultural culture can be used as a method for solving problems in the souls of the younger generation. This study aimed to identify and describe the concept of character management by applying multicultural culture to male boarding schools at Madrasah Tsanawiyah 1 Probolinggo. The method used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research results show that the concept of multicultural culture application in this institution is carried out using; a peace workshop, students' mukim design, multicultural learning and assessment. Multicultural culture can provide students with an understanding of the existing differences, but even though we are different, we can still unite to achieve a goal. The implications obtained through character management by applying multicultural culture to students can foster a sense of nationalism which is shown by caring, helping, being polite to friends and teachers and respecting each other regardless of caste or social status, through character management by applying multicultural culture in this institution become a place to instil a spirit of nationalism to unite the existing diversity. This research is a form of novelty that is unique from previous research because this study analyzes character management which involves multicultural culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of animated videos as well as to study reading of literature for the senior high school students in Bengkulu City. The method of this study was research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The results of this study implied that the material feasibility test showed 88.75% material competency aspects, 77.85% concept understanding aspects, 85.71% material suitability aspects, 91.25% language aspects with an average of 84.77% which indicated perfectly feasible. Media feasibility test revealed 82.5% appropriateness aspects, 86% display aspect, 87.5% usage aspect, 73.33% advantage aspect, with an average acquisition of 82.5% which indicated highly excellence, small-scale readability test obtained 79.05% that was very good category. It can be concluded that the development of animated video learning media based sparkol videoscribe for understanding students’ concept was worthy to be tested. The animated videos are expected to attract users in both classroom and off-classroom self-study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of teacher professional competence on student learning achievement at MAN 3 Tangerang and to determine to what extent teacher professional competence influences student learning achievement. In this study, the researchers applied a quantitative approach with a survey method and employed simple linear regression in answering the hypothesis. Data were collected using a questionnaire, in which samples were selected using a simple random sampling technique, resulting in 170 students. The questionnaire applied a Likert scale with four alternative answers. Based on the results of data processing and calculation using SPSS v. 22, statistical testing indicated that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that teacher professional competence significantly influences student learning achievement. It was derived from the results of the t-test presenting a t-count of 6.682 which is > t-table (i.e., 1.974) with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05 or 5%). Furthermore, the results in ANOVA also supported the acceptance of Ha, in which the obtained value of significance was 0.000 (< 0.05). Therefore, this study revealed that teacher professional competence influences student learning achievement. Moreover, the results of the coefficient of determination showed that the variable of teacher professional competence can explain the variable of student learning achievement by 20%. Meanwhile, the remaining 80% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

School quality is inseparable from the role of teachers, supported by teacher well-being, competence, and commitment. For this reason, this research’s design is quantitative research, using ex-post-facto with a population of 456 teachers and 112 research samples. Instrument validation was performed through expert judgment and tested using the Rasch Model. Data were then collected through questionnaires distributed using a google form, and data analysis testing consisted of (1) instrument data analysis using the Rasch Model by testing person reliability, item reliability, and instrument bias testing; (2) the analysis of data results through prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing, utilizing multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results showcased that (1) there was a simultaneous positive and significant effect between teacher well-being, teacher competence, teacher commitment, and school quality of 0.000 <0.05. (2) There was a positive and significant effect of teacher well-being on school quality of 0.009 <0.05. (3) There was a positive and significant effect of teacher competence on school quality of 0.014 <0.05. (4) There was a positive and significant effect of teacher commitment on school quality of 0.000 <0.05. In addition, this study's findings imply that teacher competence and well-being had the most influence on school quality compared to teacher commitment. Second, 42.4% of school quality was influenced by the teacher's well-being, competence, and commitment. Based on these findings, increasing teacher commitment through strategic programs expected to improve schools' quality is necessary.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain scientific information about the achievement and effectiveness of curriculum management in tertiary institutions. The research method used is evaluative research. Data collection uses techniques with field observations by looking directly at and observing sources directly with observation sheets in obtaining data. Data was also obtained by interview. Some of the sources were interviewed to ensure the correctness of the data during observation. Then the data is also obtained with instruments that are shared to view secondary data, and finally, to collect supporting document data. Methods of data analysis using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results obtained from the evaluation results obtained the value of each aspect, namely: 1) functionalization of learning curriculum management in tertiary institutions, namely 75.46 and is in the good category, 2) management of curriculum management is worth 100 and is in the very good category, 3) management students score 80 and in the good category. This has a positive impact on the development of educational management in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the commitment of school organizational management in the perspective of organizational management culture and the Big Five personality through trust. This variable needs to be analyzed in order to see the impact of how much influence the school organization has in the cultural perspective of educational management with the personality of the Big Five. This research method is quantitative with a path analysis strategy. The population of all teachers and a sample of 227 teachers. Data was obtained using a questionnaire and circulated using the Google form. The results of the study (1) the relationship between organizational culture and personality and vice versa is positive and very strong, (2) the influence of organizational culture on trust is weak, positive and significant, (3) the influence of personality on trust. Trust is positive, very strong, and significant, (4) the effect of organizational culture on organizational commitment is positive, very strong and significant, (5) the effect of personality on organizational commitment is very weak and not significant, (6) the effect of trust on organizational commitment is positive, very weak, (7) the effect of organizational culture on organizational commitment through low trust, and (8) the influence of personality on organizational commitment through low trust.
