Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the quality of learning materials for automotive productive teacher theory; (2) Preparation and planning of automotive productive teacher learning; (3) Synchronization of theoretical learning with productive teacher practice learning (4) Supervision and follow-up after the evaluation of productive teacher learning. This type of research is an evaluation with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan. The respondents were students of automotive engineering expertise programs, all automotive productive teachers, and school principals. The evaluation model used is the Goal Oriented Evaluation Model, which is an evaluation which is oriented towards the objectives of the automotive productive teacher learning management program. Data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview, observation, and documentation. The validity of the instrument through the help of a competent panel. The results showed: (1) The quality of automotive productive teacher learning materials in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan was effective. (2) Preparation and planning of learning of automotive productive teachers in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan effectively. (3) Synchronization of theoretical learning with learning practices of automotive productive teachers in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan effectively. (4) Supervision and follow-up after the evaluation of the learning of automotive productive teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan is effective.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is the responsibility of all parties. One of the institutions carrying out this mandate in an area is the Education Council. This study aims to find out how the role of the Education Council in Rejang Lebong Regency in improving the quality of education so far. Through observation and interviews, it was found that the role of the Education Council in improving the quality of education in Rejang Lebong Regency was as follows: (a) consideration in determining and implementing education policies, (b) supporting both tangible financial, thought and energy in the implementation of education (c) controllers in the context of transparency and accountability in the administration and output of education, (d) mediators between the government and the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) with the community

Abstract

School-based management is an educational management concept that provides autonomy for a school in organizing the continuity of education according to the needs of the school context. By applying a case study, this study was conducted to reveal the implementation of school-based management, along with its supporting and inhibiting factors, at SMP Negeri 1 Rejang Lebong, Curup, Bengkulu. All potential parties at school that could provide the expected data were involved purposively as the subjects. Data garnered from them were solicited using interviews and observations, which were then triangulated and analyzed using an interactive model. The interactive model worked in four components, namely data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing a conclusion. The findings showed that SMP Negeri 1 had implemented school-based management functions properly, including planning, organizing, implementing and supervising the aspects of human resource management, student management, facilities and infrastructure management, financial management, curriculum and learning management, and management of school and community relations. Supporting factors for the implementation of school-based management included the participation of committees, parents, community at school, complete teaching staff, facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor was that some students still did not obey the school rules.

Abstract

The emergence of the counter-productive in the world of education has led to the emergence of symptoms among the youths, even the adults, which show that they ignore the moral values and manners needed in a civilized society. Concerns about moral decadence, it is like a double-edged knife. If you are looking for the root of the problem on others, it is essentially be the root of the problem of yourself; so, blaming others means also blaming themselves. Thus, it is necessary to find the solution and the moral education in an appropriate action. This research on " Model of Moral Education in SMP 2 Jember" is done based on these concerns. The results of this study address that the design of applicative-integrative moral education in SMPN 2 Jember is applied into four models; first, it is integrated with the teaching and learning activities; second, it is included in the school culture that covering the school routine activities which are already programmed, and also the spontaneous activity, the exemplary of the educators and education personnel, and the physical and non-physical conditioning; third, the extra-curricular activities as the additional activity in SMPN 2 Jember; and fourth, comunity-based activities that involve the parents and societies in the implementation of applicative-integrative moral education. Abstract

The research is behind the issue of policy change implementation of field experience practice of faculty Tarbiyah from 2 months to 4 months with the reason first, the student is less gaining knowledge and experience, secondly, the time of doing PPL on In January to March to coincide with the national exam, third, relating to the allocation of honors for teacher teachers that were calculated according to the number of students he was tutored, and fourth, with the change of the policy of PPL 4 months that effect on Completion of student thesis. The purpose of the research is to know the perception of the stake holder against PPL IAIN Curup and to know a formulation of PPL majors Tarbiyah IAIN Curup. The research method used is qualitative research using an analysis-descriptive approach.  This study saw the implementation of PPL faculty Tarbiyah because the policy changes from 2 months to 4 months. The results showed the school's perception of PPL for paedagogic competence is still lacking, especially in classroom management, RPP manufacturing, and the development of learning evaluation tools. For personal competence is still low on student discipline and managing emotions, while for social competence most students impress their exclusive neighbors.

Abstract

Penjaminan mutu pendidikan di era otonomi daerah menjadi tanggung jawab penuh pemerintah daerah terutama Dinas Pendidikan yang menangani permasalahan pendidikan. Setiap daerah Kabupaten dan Kota tentunya memiliki kemampuan sumber daya alam dan manusia yang beragam, sehingga tak heran membuat keberagaman mutu lulusan. Setiap daerah mengembangkan mutu pendidikannya, agar kualitas lulusan memang benar-benar dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan kemajuan daerah. Mutu lulusan sangat berkontribusi terhadap kemajuan daerah dan hal ini merupakan tujuan dari otonomi daerah, dimana daerah diberikan kewenangan untuk mengembangkan potensi daerahnya masing-masing. Untuk itu diperlukan reformasi pendidikan Tuntutan reformasi yang amat penting adalah demokratisasi. Hal ini dapat ditanggapi dalam dua segi yaitu pemberdayaan masyarakat dan pemberdayaan pemerintah daerah (otonomi daerah). Pendidikan diselenggarakan sebagai suatu proses pembudayaan dan pemberdayaan peserta didik yang berlangsung sepanjang hayat dengan memberdayakan semua elemen masyarakat, melalui peran serta dalam penyelenggaraan dan pengendalian mutu pendidikan. Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Rejang Lebong juga harus meningkatkan mutu guru, kepala sekolah dan pengawas sekolah, agar mutu pendidikan di Kabupaten Rejang Lebong benar-benar-benar dapat memberikan kontribusi yang baik dalam pembangunan pendidikan Langkah Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, antara lain adalah : 1) menyusun program penjaminan mutu, 2) memilih instrumen (EDS) pengumpulan data, 3) mengumpulan/verifikasi data (internal/eksternal), 4) mengolah dan analisis data, 5) melaporkan temuan berbasis data, 6) menggunakan temuan untuk verifikasi pencapaian standar, 7) memilih prioritas kebutuhan untuk perbaikan mutu, 8) menyusun program dan anggaran perbaikan mutu, 9) melaksanakan program perbaikan mutu, 10) memonitor kegiatan perbaikan mutu, 11) melaporkan hasil perbaikan mutu, 12) menggunakan saran untuk perbaikan tahap berikutnya

Abstract

This study aims to explain and analyze about how the management of teaching material poetry’s writing in Tadris Bahasa Indonesia at IAIN Curup. As well as knowing curriculum management in improving the teaching material of writing poetry in Tadris Bahasa Indonesia at IAIN Curup. The results of this research are expected to be able to contribute thoughts in an effort to improve quality education and increase knowledge about the management of teaching material poetry’s writing in Tadris Bahasa Indonesia at IAIN Curup. This study uses a development approach. Data collections was carried out using questionnaires, interviews and tests. To obtain information on the feasibility of teaching materials, a validation test was carried out on the material eligibility about language (poetry). The subjects of this study were 22 students. Based on the analysis, poetry writing teaching materials can be categorized as good and appropriate to be used. Students have diverse needs in writing poetry. The need for aspects of the content and physical aspects of teaching materials. Entertaining teaching materials as well as clear and varied poetry, exercises and evaluations in accordance with the theme desired by student. Teaching materials such as modeling the making of poetry and presenting images are needed to motivate students in carrying out exercises and evaluating poetry writing varied examples of poetry. Teaching material for writing poetry entitled fun writing poetry used in learning. Teaching material development in the form of textbooks can improve student’s abilities. So the management of writing poetry can improve students, understanding of writing poetry.

Abstract

Principals in Nur Iman Kindergarten are required to have a concern for the problems faced by students. The head of the foundation has functions as supervisors, leaders, teaching staff, and school administration. The purpose of this research is to find out the leadership style of the foundation head in improving teacher performance and education processing in Nur Iman Kindergarten, to find out the foundation head's achievements in improving teacher performance and educational processing in Nur Iman Kindergarten, and to find out the supporting factors and obstacles to the foundation head's leadership style in improving teacher performance and education processing in Nur Iman Kindergarten. The research method is field study research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using miles and huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions. The results showed that the head of the foundation had maximized the performance of teachers in Nur Iman Kindergarten.

Abstract

The study program has many practical courses and wants to graduate to have real skills. The IAIN Curup Islamic Education Management study program directs its graduates to become educational staff at Islamic education institutions and agencies that handle education, become institutional managers, become Islamic education management researchers, and become planners and developers of ICT-based learning resources. So the existence or availability of a laboratory is a must. The research objectives were to determine the needs of lecturers and students of the IAIN Curup Islamic Education Management Study Program for laboratories and to determine the strengthening of laboratories in improving the quality of the IAIN Curup Islamic Education Management Study Program. This type of field research (Field Research) with qualitative research methods. Sources of data from the Head of Study Program, lecturers, laboratory managers and students of the MPI IAIN Curup study program, observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. Researchers analyzed the data with the stages of reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are the need for lecturers and students of the IAIN Curup Islamic Education Management Study Program to strengthen the function of labor because there is a mandatory leadership practice course for Islamic Education Management students, and students are required to have various abilities, both work skills, knowledge, and the ability to become leaders. Strengthening the labor function of the IAIN Curup Islamic Education Management Study Program is carried out in a number of stages, namely (1) creating a labor organization structure consisting of the Chair of the Labor, secretary, laboratory assistant, technicians and students, (2) making laboratory administration, (3) preparing laboratory facilities and infrastructure. study program, (3) create a labor curriculum. And (4) study program labor is designed with a U-shape model.

Abstract

Madrasa is an Islamic educational institutions that play a role in realizing national education goals. But in its history, the existence of madrassas has experienced complex dynamics and tides. This study was intended to analyze the dynamics and the development of the implementation of the madrasa curriculum, especially those based on Islamic boarding schools in the 20th century. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach using the documentation method. The results showed that the curriculum dynamics of pesantren-based madrasas in their history experienced various dynamics that could be classified into three groups, namely periods of growth, periods of development, periods of strengthening of existence. The growth period starts from the birth of madrassas from the pesantren's womb and curricula that are dominated by religious knowledge and tend not to be neatly structured. The development periods are characterized by many of fluctuations and tugging on the implementation of the madrasah curriculum mainly because it is related to recognition and existence. The period of strengthening existence began when the existence of madrassas was legally recognized, especially after the issuance of three Ministerial Decrees which emphasized improving the quality of madrasah education.
