Abstract.Existing human resources must be prepared early. Indeed, national education aims to create intelligent and competitive generations. This research is oriented towards the influence of CAM, which is implemented in the learning process. This research method is quasi-experimental. The research design used a non-equivalent control group design. As a sample is XI grade in SMA Muhammadiyah 7 Surabaya. Data collection techniques through observation and tests, critical thinking skills test sheets and students' concept mastery tests. Descriptively, self-critical thinking skills are 100% completed classically. The results of the t-test have a significance value of ≤ 0.05, which is 0.000. Then for mastery of the concept from the results of the t-test, the significance value is ≤ 0.05, namely with a significance value of 0.000. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of CAM p on students' critical thinking skills and students' mastery of concepts.

This study aims to describe the validity of the vibration, waves, and sounds – related guided inquiry learning material assisted by Google sites. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach that is focused on the validation test process through expert validation tests. The instrument used in this research is the expert validation sheet. The learning material validated in this study include lesson plans, student worksheets, teaching materials, learning media and learning outcomes tests. The results of lesson plans validation by experts obtained an average score of 3.3 (valid). For the validation of the student worksheets, the average score is 3.1 (valid). The validation of teaching materials obtained an average score of 3.4 (valid). The validation of learning media obtained an average score of 3.4 (valid). And the learning outcomes test obtained validation results with an average score of 3.2 (valid). From these results, the overall average value of the validation of learning tools is 3.3 and is included in the valid category. So it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning material assisted by Google sites on the material of vibration, waves, and sound developed is feasible to be used in the learning process.

This study aims to determine the ability of natural science secondary school teachers’ to use information and communication technology to assist the learning process (Technological Knowledge), the ability of natural science secondary school teachers’ to manage classes (Pedagogical Knowledge), and the ability of natural science secondary school teachers’ to mastery learning (Content Knowledge). This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were a natural science teachers’ at SMP Negeri 1 Prambon who was accredited A and a natural science teachers’ at SMP Perjuangan Prambon who was accredited B. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation, observation and interviews. The data analysis phase uses the Miles and Huberman model. Test the validity of the data using technical triangulation. Based on the research results, it was revealed that the ability of natural science secondary school teachers’ in mastering information and communication technology (Technological Knowledge) is quite good. Teachers at schools accredited A and B are quite good at operating Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point. Teachers at schools accredited A are not good at operating Microsoft Excel, while teachers at schools accredited B are not very good at operating Microsoft Excel. The ability of secondary school natural science teachers’ at accredited A schools to manage classes (Pedagogical Knowledge) is very good, while the ability of natural science secondary school teachers’ at schools accredited B is quite good. The ability of natural science secondary school teachers’ in schools accredited A is very good in mastering the subject matter they teach (Content Knowledge), while the ability of natural science teachers in schools accredited B is quite good. In future research it is expected to be able to uncover the TPACK of science teachers based on the length of time the teacher has been teaching or the other factor.

The development of technology 4.0 and social 5.0 has a considerable influence on educational change. Education in the 21st century requires students to have the competencies needed to face the challenges of the times. One of the efforts made is with a learning model that can develop these abilities, namely STEAM-PjBL. The purpose of this research is to analyze implementation trends of STEAM-PjBL in science learning from elementary school level to university level. This research is a literature study by collecting 19 articles. This study adopted the review process by Sharif (2019), by 1) formulating research questions; (2) setting the inclusion criteria (Table 1); (3) search for articles in various databases (Google Scholar, ERIC, DOAJ, journal websites) by typing the keywords “STEAM” “STEAM-PjBL, “STEAM-PjBL in science education” and “science education”; (4) article coding using Paper Classification Form (PCF); (5) identify patterns across articles; (6) synthesize these patterns to answer the research question. The results obtained The implementation of STEAM-PjBL research in science learning has a very good contribution in growing and improving the skills needed by students in facing the challenges of the 21st century. Learning in the current condition, which is still a COVID-19 pandemic, can be an option for schools and teachers to implement STEAM-PjBL so that they can realize the learning goals to be achieved.

This study is a quantitative descriptive survey research that aims to describe the level of scientific literacy skills of ninth-grade of secondary school students’ in Angkona sub-district accredicted A and B for 2021/2022 academic year in terms of context, knowledge, and scientific competence on human excretory system topics. Population of this study were all ninth grade of secondary school students accredicted A and B throughout in Angkona sub-district with 252 students, namely SMPN A which was accredicted A; and SMPN B, C, and D were accredicted B. Samples were selected using saturated sample technique so that the samples in this research were 252 students. The instrument of this research was 20 multiple choice questions on human excretory system topics. The data collection technique was by giving tests directly at school and/or giving online test for students who did not come to school via Google Form and/or WhatsApp. The data were analyzed using analysis of quantitative descriptive. The results obtained are the scientific literacy skills of ninth-grade of secondary school students in Angkona sub-district: (1) in the context of science is in “medium”, (2) knowledge of science is in the “medium”, and (3) competence of science is in the “low” category.

One form of technological development in field of education is the creation of various Android-based learning media. The purpose of this study was to develop Android-based Thermochemical (TMC) learning media assisted by Smart Apps Creator to improve student s’ learning outcomes in thermochemical material. The development in this study was carried out with a 4-D design, define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of the study show that TMC learning media is very feasible to use based on the validation results two validators,namely material experts and media experts. The learning media validation score by material experts was 75 in "Very Eligible" category, while the validation results by media experts were 56 in "Very Eligible" category. The results of the media feasibility assessment by students showed that they were in the "Very feasible" category with conversion value of 35.32. Student responses to the media are in the agree category with conversion value of 4.21. Student learning outcomes after using the TMC learning media also experienced an increase based on a comparison between student pretest and posttest scores. The average score of students' pretest before using TMC media was 54.46 while the average posttest score of students after using TMC media was 82.74. The results of the student pretest and posttest gain test have score of 0.62 in the "Moderate" category.

Various marine environment damages were caused by a lack of marine environmental care attitude. This attitude must be instilled from an early age. This study aimed to find out how marine environmental care attitude of students of public junior high schools in Tanjungpinang City through integrated science learning. This research was a quantitative descriptive research in the form of a survey. This research involved 572 public secondary school students in Tanjungpinang City out of a total of 7,974 stundents who were determined using stratified random sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Questions on the questionnaire were based on 4 main indicators which were based on 7 ocean literacy principles and literature review on environtmental care attitude. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively using a Likert Scale. The results showed that students' knowledge of the sea was in the good category. Students' attitudes in preserving marine environment and preventing marine environmental damages were in the good category and the contribution of integrated science learning in shaping these attitudes was also in the good category. The students’ attitudes in repairing marine environment damages was in the bad category and the contribution of integrated science learning to this attitude was in the very bad category. This did not indicate the low quality of integrated science learning. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, it was impossible for integrated science learning to be carried out in the marine environment by involving students in activities to repair marine environment damages because of physical interaction restrictions.

The purpose of the study was to determine the use of local wisdom-based learning media on science process skills in straight motion material in junior high school. This study used a two-group experimental design, namely between the experimental group and the control group. Sampling in this study used a random sampling technique to determine the class that would be the experimental group and the control group. The population in this study were all students of class VIII who collected 62 students consisting of 2 classes, namely class B and C of SMP Negeri I Marisa, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province. The results obtained that the effect of learning using media based on local wisdom in terms of increasing the ability of students' science processes on the material of straight motion. This is indicated by the average value of the Post-test for both classes, namely the Experiment class of 85.34 and the control class of 64.73, in addition, based on the results of tcount of 6.60 which is greater than ttable, which is 2.80 meaning Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected and the significant value is obtained by 0.000 <0.005 so that it is obtained that the Local Wisdom-Based Media has an effect on the Science Process Ability of Students at SMP Negeri 1 Marisa.

Students' critical thinking skills are very important in facing the challenges of the 21st century. The purpose of this research is to determine the level of students' critical thinking. The benefit of this research is to obtain test results related to students' critical thinking abilities. The methodology in this study used a survey method involving 75 students who were taken randomly. The instrument used is in the form of critical thinking questions which are distributed via gform. The data obtained was analyzed using SPSS. Based on the survey results it is known that the number of subjects is 75 respondents consisting of 48 women and 27 men. Based on the survey results, it is also known that the average student's critical thinking skills are in the good category with a score that can be explained in detail, namely giving simple explanations (8.0), building basic skills (7.9), making inferences (7.8). provide further explanation (7.6) and set strategies and techniques in solving science questions (7.9). In conclusion, the construct that has the highest average value is to provide a simple explanation with an average value of 8.0 and the lowest is to provide a further explanation of 7.6. The recommendation from this study is that students' critical thinking skills still need to be improved and teachers can use the instruments that have been used.

The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of bryophyta on the riverside Susup as learning material in the form of Learning Unit Books (BUP). The research method used is Research and Development which is limited to needs analysis and BUP design. Moss plant diversity samples were obtained using a purposive sampling technique. Found 10 families, 13 types of species and 80 total bryophyta colonies on the banks of the river. The diversity index (H') ranges from 1.474 - 1.911 which includes the medium category, the evenness index (E) ranges from 0.822 - 0.940 which includes the high category and the dominance index (C) ranges from 0.1550 - 0.3056 which includes the low category. These findings are then used as teaching materials for designing BUP for SMP.
