Abstract

Madura Gentongan batik artisans face low performance and welfare due to limited HR competencies and suboptimal social capital. This study examines how HR competencies and social capital affect performance and well-being, with performance as a mediator. Using PLS-SEM on survey data from 170 artisans in Bangkalan, results show HR competencies significantly enhance performance and well-being, directly and indirectly. Social capital improves performance but not well-being, due to the dominance of bonding ties that generate social pressure. The study highlights HR competencies as key to improving artisan welfare, while social capital’s direct impact remains limited.

Abstract

This study examines how e-service quality, food quality, and brand image influence customer loyalty, with perceived value and customer satisfaction as mediators in Indonesia’s online food delivery industry. Using a quantitative causal approach with data from 226 active users and PLS-SEM analysis, the results show that e-service quality significantly improves loyalty, while brand image increases customer satisfaction. Food quality does not significantly affect loyalty, and both mediators are insignificant. The findings indicate that digital service performance and brand image are more crucial for customer satisfaction and loyalty than food quality.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of viral marketing, content marketing, and live streaming on purchase decisions, with brand trust as a mediating variable, among TikTok users who shop at Miniso in Kediri. Using a quantitative approach with 384 respondents, data were analyzed via SEM-PLS. Results show that all three marketing strategies significantly affect brand trust and purchase decisions. However, brand trust only mediates the effects of viral marketing and live streaming. These findings highlight the importance of interactive, trust-building strategies on TikTok. Miniso should enhance brand trust through engaging content and consider expanding platforms and variables for future research.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of part-time jobs on students' learning activities, with time management as a mediating factor. Using a quantitative approach and SmartPLS 4, data were collected from 74 students at the State Polytechnic of Madiun. Results show that part-time jobs do not directly affect learning activities (t = 1.890, p = 0.059). However, they significantly influence time management (t = 6.463, p = 0.000), which in turn positively affects learning activities (t = 6.945, p = 0.000). The R² values indicate that 34% of learning activities and 28.5% of time management are explained by the proposed model.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of stakeholder pressure on innovation capability and well-being among batik artisan entrepreneurs in Madura. Using a quantitative approach and purposive sampling of 100 artisans, results show stakeholder pressure positively affects both innovation capability and well-being. However, innovation capability negatively affects well-being. These findings indicate innovation plays a dual role: it is essential for competitive advantage but may reduce well-being if poorly managed. The study suggests balancing innovation with well-being support to sustain artisan entrepreneurship and cultural heritage in dynamic business environments.
