Abstract

The rise of social media has transformed how consumers seek information, particularly in the competitive beauty industry. Public figures like celebrity endorsers and beauty vloggers now play a key role in shaping perceptions and purchase intention, especially for popular skincare brands like Skintific. This study analyzes their influence using a quantitative descriptive method and purposive sampling of 150 respondents via Google Form. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.1.0.0. Results show both variables have a positive, significant impact on purchase intention, with beauty vloggers being the most dominant. An R-square of 0.752 confirms their strong explanatory power on consumer behavior.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of work-life balance and transformational leadership on employee performance, mediated by employee engagement, among nurses and midwives at Muhammadiyah Darul Istiqomah Hospital, Kendal. Using a quantitative approach with 90 respondents and SmartPLS 4.0 for data analysis, results reveal that work-life balance significantly affects performance but not engagement. Conversely, transformational leadership positively influences engagement but not performance directly. These findings highlight that work-life balance supports performance quality, while transformational leadership through engagement can enhance employee productivity, underscoring the practical importance of balancing personal and professional life and adopting inspirational leadership styles in healthcare settings.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of cost sensitivity analysis and transportation optimization through a Systematic Mapping Study (SMS) using Scopus data from 2019 to 2023. Bibliometric analysis and VOSviewer visualization identified publication trends, research methods, and thematic clusters. Results show China as the largest contributor and highlight six key clusters including sensitivity analysis, uncertainty, optimization algorithms, and sustainable logistics. A significant research gap exists in combining cost sensitivity with holistic sustainability models. The findings offer academic and practical implications to guide future research and policy formulation in building more adaptive, efficient, and resilient transportation and distribution systems amid cost uncertainty.

Abstract

This study examines the financial performance of 59 companies that conducted Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2022. Using a comparative quantitative approach, it analyzes financial indicators from one year before and after the IPO. Performance metrics include profitability (ROA, ROE, NPM), leverage (DAR), activity (TATO), and asset growth (AG). The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and t-test were used to assess differences. Results indicate a decline in profitability, leverage, activity, and asset growth post-IPO, suggesting that IPOs may not immediately enhance financial performance.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of brand luxury and brand experience on customer loyalty among Coach consumers in Indonesia. A quantitative survey of 200 respondents (purposive sampling) was analyzed using PLS-SEM (SmartPLS 4). The results show that brand luxury positively and significantly affects loyalty (β=0.382; t=3.936; p<0.001), and brand experience also has a positive significant effect and is slightly stronger (β=0.407; t=3.915; p<0.001). The findings indicate that luxury cues (quality, prestige, exclusivity) and a consistent brand experience increase repurchase intention, recommendations, and long-term commitment. Managerially, brands should sustain their luxury positioning while designing superior customer experiences across all touchpoints.
