Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of good corporate governance, company life cycle, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure on firm value, with earnings management as a mediating variable. The study used a quantitative approach on 34 consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020–2024 period (170 observations). Data were analyzed using panel data regression and the Sobel test. The results show that the independent board of commissioners, company life cycle, and CSR disclosure influence earnings management, while only the independent board of commissioners has a direct effect on firm value. Earnings management mediates the influence of the independent board of commissioners and company life cycle on firm value.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of Confirmation and E-Trust on E-Loyalty through E-Satisfaction among Livin’ by Mandiri users in Palembang. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data from 200 purposively selected active users were analyzed with PLS-SEM. Results show that Confirmation and E-Trust positively affect E-Satisfaction, while all three constructs positively influence E-Loyalty. E-Satisfaction partially mediates the effects of Confirmation and E-Trust on E-Loyalty. These findings extend Expectation-Confirmation Theory and highlight satisfaction as a key mechanism for strengthening loyalty in digital banking. Banks should therefore maintain reliable, secure, and expectation-consistent mobile services. Keywords: Confirmation; E-Trust; E-Satisfaction; E-Loyalty; Mobile Banking.

Abstract

This study examines the role of job satisfaction as a mediator between work-life balance (WLB) and employee engagement on employee loyalty at UPT PLN Malang, using a sample of 85 respondents with SEM-PLS analysis. The study results show that WLB significantly and positively influences job satisfaction (coefficient 0.301; p-value 0.000), which then has a positive impact on employee loyalty (coefficient 0.359; p-value 0.002). However, the direct effect of WLB on employee loyalty is not significant (coefficient 0.043; p-value 0.332). Meanwhile, employee engagement has a strong and significant direct influence on job satisfaction (coefficient 0.624; p-value 0.000) and employee loyalty (coefficient 0.530; p-value 0.000). A key finding is that job satisfaction effectively mediates the impact of WLB and employee engagement on loyalty. This means that good WLB and high engagement increase job satisfaction, which ultimately becomes a key driver of employee loyalty. This study emphasizes the importance of job satisfaction as a strategic bridge to foster employee loyalty within an organization.
