Abstract

This study examines the effects of transformational leadership and employee creativity on employee performance in Indonesia's media industry, mediated by work engagement. Utilizing a quantitative cross-sectional survey with 114 valid responses, data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that employee creativity and work engagement significantly enhance employee performance. However, transformational leadership showed non-significant direct effects on performance and engagement, and work engagement did not mediate these relationships. Consequently, media organizations should prioritize practical job resources, creative support, and robust production systems over solely inspirational leadership to drive employee performance. Abstract

This study examines the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on corporate financial performance and the moderating role of women on boards among ASEAN-5 non-financial firms. Using panel data from 115 listed companies (1,265 firm-year observations) during 2014–2024, the study employs panel regression with Random Effects and Fixed Effects models. The results show that CSR significantly improves both accounting-based (ROA) and market-based (Tobin’s Q) financial performance. However, women on boards weaken the positive CSR–performance relationship. These findings highlight the importance of balancing CSR investment and board gender diversity to maximize corporate value.

Abstract

Digital technology has transformed how tourists interact with tourism destinations. This study examines the effect of Hedonic Value of the Online Digital Experience on Brand Advocacy, with Brand Engagement as a mediator and Digital Experience Satisfaction as a moderator. Using an explanatory quantitative approach, data from 230 tourists were analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results show that all direct relationships are significant, Brand Engagement partially mediates the relationship, and Digital Experience Satisfaction strengthens the effect on Brand Advocacy. These findings highlight the importance of enjoyable digital experiences in encouraging tourists to become destination advocates.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of servant leadership on work performance among civil servants of the Bima Regency Government, with knowledge sharing and burnout as mediating variables and innovative culture as a moderating variable. Primary data from 220 respondents, selected through convenience sampling, were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3. Servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on work performance and knowledge sharing, but not on burnout. Knowledge sharing positively and burnout negatively affect work performance. Knowledge sharing partially mediates the servant leadership–performance relationship, burnout does not, and innovative culture strengthens it as a quasi-moderator.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of leadership on civil servant performance at the Regional Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency of Tojo Una-Una Regency. A quantitative causal-associative design was applied to all 64 employees using total sampling. Primary data were collected through a five-point Likert questionnaire and analyzed using validity, reliability, classical assumption, and simple linear regression tests. Leadership has a positive and significant effect on performance (β = 0.748; t = 8.495; p < 0.001), explaining 53.8% of its variation. Effective leadership is therefore important for strengthening employee performance and public service. Keywords: Leadership; Civil Servant Performance; Public Sector

Abstract

A fundamental debate in human resource management questions the causal direction between job satisfaction and employee performance. Drawing on Expectancy Theory and Achievement Motivation Theory, this study positions performance as a mediator between psychosocial work conditions and job satisfaction. Using a quantitative census of 124 civil servants at the Tegal, Slawi, and Brebes District Courts (109 usable responses), data were analyzed with PLS-SEM. Work-life balance and the work environment positively affect performance, while work overload has a negative effect. Only the work environment directly affects satisfaction; employee performance fully mediates the effects of work-life balance and work overload.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of service quality, word of mouth, and customer satisfaction on reuse intention among Gojek users. Service quality is reflected by four dimensions: tangibles, responsiveness, reliability, and assurance. Data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with 346 respondents from West Java, Indonesia, all of whom actively use the Gojek application. The results show that service quality, customer satisfaction, and word of mouth all directly and significantly influence reuse intention, with word of mouth exerting the strongest effect. Service quality also indirectly influences reuse intention through customer satisfaction and word of mouth. Keywords: Reuse Intention; Customer Satisfaction; Service Quality; Word of Mouth

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of digital governance capability, data-driven decision-making (DDDM), and the utilization of the Regional Financial Information System (SIKD) on the performance of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), with transparency in regional financial management as an intervening variable. Data from 150 respondents across all OPDs in Brebes Regency were analyzed using PLS-SEM. DDDM and SIKD utilization positively and significantly affect transparency and OPD performance, while digital governance capability does not. Transparency positively affects performance and mediates the effects of DDDM and SIKD utilization, but not of digital governance capability, supporting evidence-based bureaucratic reform. Keywords: Digital Governance Capability; Data-Driven Decision Making; Regional Financial Information System (SIKD); Regional Financial Management Transparency; Local Government Performance

Results show that green marketing and green image positively and significantly affect green satisfaction, with green image emerging as the stronger predictor. The findings suggest that sustainable operational practices, supported by effective environmental communication, can strengthen the airport’s green image and improve passenger satisfaction. This study extends green marketing research in the airport sector and informs sustainable airport management.
