This research uses a descriptive research type which is used to obtain data in the form of both written and spoken text. Collecting data in this study using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used is the analysis of the Miles and Huberman models which consist of three activities, namely reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that using snakes and ladders games can develop early reading skills in early childhood, especially children aged four to five years, and show a sense of enthusiasm in learning and enthusiastic about following it to completion.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between the intensity of watching YouTube and language development in early childhood (ages 2-5 years). The research employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design and utilized purposive sampling techniques. The study focused on kindergartens in Pringgowirawan Village, which has 5 schools and 190 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. To analyze the data, the product-moment correlation formula was applied using SPSS.The analysis revealed a significant relationship between the intensity of watching YouTube and language development in early childhood in Pringgowirawan Village, Jember Regency. This was indicated by the SPSS calculation, where the Sig. (2-tailed) value between the intensity of watching YouTube (X) and children's language development (Y) was 0.000 0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This signifies a significant correlation between the intensity of watching YouTube and children's language development. Since the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) was negative, it indicates that as the intensity of watching YouTube increases, children's language development tends to decrease

Abstract

The constructivist approach to early childhood through audio-visual learning media involves the use of technology to help children build self-knowledge and understanding actively. Through audio-visual media, children can be involved in activities that stimulate their cognitive, sensory and motor skills. Thus, children can build their own knowledge through critical and constructive thinking processes. Qualitative methods are research approaches used to understand social phenomena in depth by focusing on context, meaning and subjective experience. This approach includes collecting and analyzing data in the form of text, images, or sound to. reveal the complexity and variation in human life. The findings of a constructivist approach in early childhood through audio-visual learning media show that the use of this technology can improve their learning process significantly. By utilizing audio-visual media, children can be involved in more active and enjoyable learning experiences so that this can help develop children's self-knowledge actively.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of 3M games (throwing, catching, and kicking the ball) on the development of kinesthetic intelligence in children aged 5-6 years at RA Senyum Muslim, Bekasi Regency. This type of research focuses on the 3M game (throwing, catching, and kicking the ball) to develop kinesthetic intelligence in children aged 4-6 years at RA Senyum Muslim, Bekasi Regency, using a pre-experimental research method with a Pretest-Posttest design. The population in this study consisted of all children aged 4-6 years at RA Senyum Muslim, Bekasi Regency, totaling 30 students. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling, meaning all children aged 4-6 years at RA Senyum Muslim, Bekasi Regency, totaling 30 students, were included in the sample. A hypothesis test was then conducted using a paired sample t-test, calculating the magnitude of the effect, and investigating whether the 3M game (throwing, catching, and kicking the ball) had an effect on the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 4-6 years. The study results explained that the Pre-Test score showed an average kinesthetic intelligence of children (Mean) of 11.20. As for the Post-Test score, the average value of the children's kinesthetic intelligence was 23.97. Since the average value of children's kinesthetic intelligence in the Pre-Test was 11.20, which is lower than the Post-Test score of 23.97, it indicates that descriptively, there is a difference in the average kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 4-6 years. The hypothesis test revealed that the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000 0.05, thus rejecting H0 and accepting Ha. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the average kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 4-6 years between the Pre-Test and Post-Test at RA Senyum Muslim, Bekasi Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a modified ball game to stimulate the sensorimotor development of children aged 4-6 years at Taman Bermain Sahabat Sekar Mekar, Bogor Regency. This study usResearch and Development (RD) approach with the Borg and Gall model modified into five stages, namely research and information gathering, planning, initial product development, initial field trials, and product revision. This method involves qualitative and quantitative data analysis through observations, interviews, and questionnaires conducted to teachers and experts in the fields of material and media. The results showed that the designed modified ball game successfully improved children's sensorimotor development significantly. Validation conducted by experts concluded that the game is effective in stimulating various sensorimotor aspects, such as balance, eye-hand coordination, gross and fine motor movements, and rhythmic skills. The modified ball game is also designed to be adapted to the limited space and needs of children, so that it can be applied optimally in an early childhood education environment. The limited space at Taman Bermain Sahabat Sekar Mekar, which was initially an obstacle to children's physical activity, was successfully overcome with this game modification. The trial showed that the modified ball game was able to increase children's interest and participation in physical activities as a whole.

This study is a quantitative descriptive research. The method used is a survey. The subjects of this study were 65 PAUD teachers from South Arut District. The instrument used in this study was a true-false choice test. Data analysis was performed using quantitative descriptive analysis, presented in percentage form and analyzed with the Rasch model. The Rasch model employs probability principles for each available option, whereas classical test theory focuses on the total score from exams or questionnaires. The results showed that the level of knowledge of PAUD teachers regarding the preparation of holistic assessment rubrics in South Arut District was categorized as "low" for 47.7% (31 teachers), "medium" for 38.4% (25 teachers), and "high" for 13.9% (9 teachers). Based on the average score of 20.78, the level of knowledge among PAUD teachers about the preparation of holistic assessment rubrics in South Arut District falls into the "medium" category.
