Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa lebih dalam terkait bagaimana SKI (khususnya para tokoh Islam klasik) menjadi suatu pelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data yang dipergunakan dalam kajian ini merupakan data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Alur analisa mengacu pada teori Miles & Huberman, dengan triangulasi data sebagai uji keabsahannya. Hasil studi menyatakan pembelajaran SKI khususnya terkait tokoh pendidikan Islam klasik dapat dipergunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari beberapa indikator dalam berpikir kritis yang mampu dilaksanakan dengan baik oleh siswa. Meskipun pada indikator inferensi dan eksplanasi belum terlaksana dengan maksimal, akibat beberapa kendala yang dialami oleh siswa. Beberapa kendala tersebut diakibatkan karena kurangnya sumber belajar atau sumber informasi yang digunakan serta kurangnya kepercayaan diri ketika mengungkapkan opininya di depan kelas. Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze more deeply how SKI (especially classical Islamic figures) becomes a lesson that can improve students' critical thinking skills. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The primary and secondary data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis flow refers to the theory of Miles & Huberman, with data triangulation as a test of its validity. The results of the study state that SKI learning, especially related to classical Islamic education figures, can be used to improve students' critical thinking skills. This can be seen from several indicators in critical thinking that can be implemented well by students. However, the inference and explanation indicators have not been implemented optimally, due to several obstacles experienced by students. Some of these obstacles are caused by the lack of learning resources or sources of information and a lack of self-confidence when expressing their opinions in front of the class.

Abstract

This study examines the interaction between educational culture, organizational culture, and communication networks in the context of Al-Hadi School. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research digs deeper into the fundamental values, norms and practices that shape the school learning environment. The findings reveal that Al-Hadi culture emphasizes discipline, adherence to religious values, and innovative teaching methods. While these elements have fostered a strong sense of community, they have also influenced the development of formal and hierarchical communication networks.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to find out the thoughts of Imam Al- Juwayni in implementing the concept of Maqashid Al-syari “ah in everyday life and integrating maqashid shari ”ah in Islamic religious colleges in general, especially in Islamic religious colleges. This type of research is a literature study or literature study, which contains theories that are relevant to research problems. Data collection techniques using theoretical aspects and aspects of practical benefits. The conclusion of the research is about the correlation of maqasid shari'ah with the method of determining the law in instigating Islamic law.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of non-test evaluation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP Negeri 1 Praya Timur. Identifying the types of non-test evaluation techniques applied in PAI learning and analyzing the strategies used by teachers in implementing non-test evaluation techniques, including how to design and apply them in class and assess the effectiveness of non-test evaluation in improving student learning outcomes, especially in strengthening character and understanding of Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, by exploring phenomena, events, and evaluation activities applied by teachers to grade VIII students. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and principals, document analysis, and field recording. Data validity was strengthened by triangulation techniques, namely integrating various sources and methods of data collection. The results of the study indicate that non-test evaluation in PAI learning has been applied systematically and supports the development of students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects as reflected in the increased understanding of religious values ??and positive student behavior in the school environment. The overall learning process went well, although in the process there were several obstacles and challenges such as subjectivity in assessment, teacher time constraints and students' lack of understanding of non-test evaluation. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi evaluasi non-tes dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMP Negeri 1 Praya Timur. Mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis teknik evaluasi non-tes yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran PAI dan menganalisis strategi yang digunakan guru dalam mengimplementasikan teknik evaluasi non-tes, termasuk bagaimana merancang dan menerapkannya di kelas dan menilai efektivitas evaluasi non-tes dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terutama dalam penguatan karakter dan pemahaman nilai-nilai keislaman. Penelitian ini Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, dengan menggali fenomena, peristiwa, serta aktivitas evaluasi yang diterapkan oleh guru terhadap siswa kelas VIII. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, analisis dokumen, serta pencatatan lapangan. Keabsahan data diperkuat dengan teknik triangulasi, yaitu mengintegrasikan berbagai sumber dan metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi non-tes dalam pembelajaran PAI telah diterapkan secara sistematis dan mendukung pengembangan aspek kognitif, afektif, serta psikomotorik siswa yang tercermin dari peningkatan pemahaman nilai-nilai keagamaan dan perilaku siswa yang positif di lingkungan sekolah. Proses pembelajaran secara keseluruhan berjalan dengan baik, meski didalam prosesnya terdapat beberapa kendala dan tantangan seperti subjektivitas dalam penilaian, keterbatasan waktu guru dan kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap evaluasi non-tes.

Abstract

This research examines the role of the Irsyadul Islamiyah Tanjung Medan Islamic Boarding School in preserving the Al-Barzanji tradition. Research Using descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation, this research aims to determine the Islamic boarding school's efforts to maintain and teach the Al-Barzanji tradition, identify the challenges faced, and reveal the benefits and socio-religious impacts. The research results show that Islamic boarding schools play an active role in preserving Al-Barzanji through routine learning, competitions, and community involvement in various religious activities. Supporting factors for preservation include the active role of Islamic boarding school caregivers, community support, and the availability of learning resources. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include the decline in interest of students, lack of in-depth understanding of the meaning of Al-Barzanji, the influence of globalization, and the challenges of regeneration. The impact of preserving this tradition can be seen in increasing the spirituality of students, strengthening their character, and creating social harmonization between the Islamic boarding school and the surrounding community. This research concludes that the preservation of Al-Barzanji in Islamic boarding schools not only functions as a means of religious education, but also as a medium for maintaining the continuity of the Islamic cultural heritage of the archipelago. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji peran Pondok Pesantren Irsyadul Islamiyah Tanjung Medan dalam melestarikan tradisi Al-Barzanji. Penelitian Menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya pesantren dalam menjaga dan mengajarkan tradisi Al-Barzanji, mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi, serta mengungkap manfaat dan dampak sosial keagamaannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren berperan aktif dalam melestarikan Al-Barzanji melalui pembelajaran rutin, perlombaan, dan pelibatan masyarakat dalam berbagai kegiatan keagamaan. Faktor pendukung pelestarian meliputi peran aktif pengasuh pesantren, dukungan masyarakat, dan ketersediaan sumber daya pembelajaran. Sementara faktor penghambat mencakup menurunnya minat santri, kurangnya pemahaman mendalam terhadap makna Al-Barzanji, pengaruh globalisasi, dan tantangan regenerasi. Dampak pelestarian tradisi ini terlihat pada peningkatan spiritualitas santri, penguatan karakter, serta terciptanya harmonisasi sosial antara pesantren dan masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelestarian Al-Barzanji di pesantren tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana pendidikan keagamaan, tetapi juga sebagai medium untuk menjaga keberlangsungan warisan budaya Islam Nusantara.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the ta'zir method in improving the discipline of students at the Irsyadul Islamiyah Tanjung Medan Islamic Boarding School. This research aims to analyze the application of the ta'zir method, identify forms of violations of rules and regulations, and evaluate the effectiveness of the application of this method. This research uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data in this research uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this research include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the application of the ta'zir method is carried out in stages and proportionally according to the level of violation, starting from verbal warnings to more stringent sanctions. Supporting factors for implementation include support from Islamic boarding school caregivers, a strict supervision system, and participation of parents of Islamic boarding school students. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include differences in student backgrounds, varying levels of compliance, and the influence of the external environment. The research concluded that the ta'zir method was effective in improving santri discipline, reflected in increased compliance with Islamic boarding school rules and positive behavioral changes in daily life. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi metode ta'zir dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan santri di Pondok Pesantren Irsyadul Islamiyah Tanjung Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode ta'zir, mengidentifikasi bentuk-bentuk pelanggaran tata tertib, dan mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan metode tersebut. Penelitian ini Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. validitas data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode ta'zir dilakukan secara bertahap dan proporsional sesuai tingkat pelanggaran, mulai dari teguran lisan hingga sanksi yang lebih tegas. Faktor pendukung implementasi meliputi dukungan pengasuh pesantren, sistem pengawasan yang ketat, dan partisipasi orang tua santri. Sementara faktor penghambat mencakup perbedaan latar belakang santri, tingkat kepatuhan yang beragam, dan pengaruh lingkungan eksternal. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa metode ta'zir efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan santri, tercermin dari peningkatan kepatuhan terhadap aturan pesantren dan perubahan perilaku positif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMK Al Bukhary Rantau Prapat. The Merdeka Curriculum is an innovation that provides flexibility for educational institutions to develop learning methods relevant to students' needs. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity is tested using triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in PAI learning at SMK Al Bukhary Rantau Prapat has undergone significant changes through a project-based learning approach and differentiated learning, which emphasize not only cognitive aspects but also affective and psychomotor aspects. The main challenges in implementing this curriculum include limited facilities and infrastructure, teachers’ readiness to adapt to new approaches, variations in students' abilities and motivation, and lack of parental involvement in supporting learning. Despite these challenges, the Merdeka Curriculum has had a positive impact on enhancing teachers' creativity in teaching and fostering students' character development in alignment with the Profile of Pancasila Students. This study recommends the need for collaboration among all stakeholders to create more contextual, applicable, and relevant PAI learning that meets the demands of the modern era.

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of the school library as a learning resource for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK Swasta Al Bukhary Rantauprapat. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is ensured through triangulation, which involves comparing various sources of information obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation to enhance accuracy and reduce bias in data analysis. The data analysis techniques used in this study consist of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results indicate that the school library serves as a learning resource center that provides book collections and supporting facilities, although the availability of Islamic literature remains limited. The utilization of the library by students for PAI learning is still suboptimal, with visits mostly occurring only when assigned by teachers. Supporting factors for library utilization include the availability of book collections, adequate facilities, and teacher support. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include low student reading interest, limited specific Islamic book collections, a lack of literacy activities, and time constraints. Nevertheless, for students who utilize the library, it contributes to improving their understanding of PAI material, fostering reading interest, and strengthening critical thinking skills in comprehending Islamic teachings. Strategic efforts from the school are needed to optimize library utilization, including expanding the collection of Islamic books and organizing religion-based literacy activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of OSIM in improving student worship discipline at MAN 2 Labuhanbatu Utara. This study uses a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The sources of informants are the principal, supervising teacher, OSIM chairman and students. The data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and document studies. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the strategic role in improving student discipline through programs such as congregational Dhuhur prayers, Yasin memorization programs and prayers every Saturday, Islamic studies or lectures, Alms every Friday. OSIM also acts as a role model for students in carrying out religious values. Supporting factors for the role of OSIM include support from the school and teachers, while the inhibiting factor is the lack of student awareness in worshiping regularly.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Islamic Boarding School Organization (OPP) in instilling Islamic education values ??at the Irsyadul Islamiyah Tanjung Medan Islamic Boarding School. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Triangulation was used as a validity technique in this study. Data analysis techniques in this study include data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that OPP plays an effective role in instilling Islamic education values ??through various activities such as studying yellow books, preaching, al-barzanji, and yasin. The values ??instilled include faith and piety, discipline, responsibility, Islamic brotherhood, leadership, and Islamic scientific and ethical values. Supporting factors in implementing the role of OPP include full support from the Islamic boarding school, active participation of students, and diversity of work programs. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited human resources who are competent in leadership, minimal facilities and infrastructure, and low discipline of some students. This study concludes that OPP is an important instrument in the formation of the character of students in accordance with Islamic values.
