Abstract

In today’s complex digital and ethical business environment, MSMEs face increasing tension between market-driven branding strategies and the integration of authentic ethical values. This study identifies a core problem in the literature: a persistent fragmentation between performance-oriented branding and ethics-oriented communication within MSME practices. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by PRISMA 2020 and supported by bibliometric tools (Bibliometrix and VOSviewer), we analyzed 79 Scopus-indexed articles published between 2015 and 2025. The analysis reveals three dominant conceptual clusters: (1) digital branding and social media, (2) sustainability and CSR integration, and (3) ethical legitimacy and stakeholder value. Despite increasing attention to sustainability, ethical dimensions often remain symbolic or fragmented. As a response, this study proposes a novel framework integrating digital strategy, value-based sustainability, and ethical stakeholder legitimacy. The study contributes a conceptual foundation for future research and offers practical guidance for branding strategies that are not only performative but also ethically grounded and socially legitimate.

Abstract

Abstract

Sebagian besar (98%) hanya mengenal usia dewasa administratif (17 tahun), tanpa memahami batasan KUHPerdata (21 tahun).

Abstract

The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) within the Merdeka Curriculum still faces challenges, including limited teacher understanding, weak stakeholder synergy, and a learning ecosystem that has yet to optimally support students' social-moral character development. This study aims to conduct a holistic analysis of the P5 learning ecosystem and identify collaborative strategies to support the internalization of Pancasila values. The method used is a literature review examining relevant scientific literature and policy documents on P5, the Merdeka Curriculum, and character education. Findings show that the effectiveness of P5 depends on synergy among teachers as moral role models, students as agents of change, a supportive school culture, family involvement, and community collaboration. Social-moral character strengthening proves more effective when learning is linked to contextual experience and the habituation of values in daily life. Thus, P5's success requires a collaborative and sustainable educational ecosystem to shape students with character aligned with Pancasila values.

Abstract

Globalization and digitalization demand innovation in global citizenship education. Conventional learning approaches fail to effectively reach younger generations who are deeply familiar with digital technology. This study designs a conceptual transformation of deep learning and AI-based digital media in global citizenship education. It uses a qualitative phenomenological method, employing interviews and observations at the senior high school level and analyzing the data using thematic coding. Results show that deep learning in global citizenship education involves identifying learning needs, developing adaptive models, implementing data-driven instruction, and conducting personalized evaluation. AI technology enables the creation of learning media that is both interactive and adaptive to diverse student learning styles. This integration has the potential to develop a generation with stronger global citizenship values and competencies that are applicable in real life.

Abstract

The moral dilemma of miners on Kolbano Beach, South Central Timor (Timor Tengah Selatan), East Nusa Tenggara (Nusa Tenggara Timur) arises when they must dig into the soil to extract colored stones to meet their economic needs, even though this activity harms the environment. If they stop mining, no other occupation offers a comparable income, which explains why mining continues to this day. This study aims to describe the factors behind the moral dilemma faced by colored stone miners on Kolbano Beach and to analyze this dilemma from the perspective of environmental ethics. The study employs a qualitative, narrative-descriptive approach. Drawing on Larry Rasmussen's environmental ethics and Sallie McFague's distributive justice, the study calls on humans to pursue a sustainable life for all of creation in the future. As moral beings who continuously interact with nature, miners hold a duty to love nature as they love themselves and to treat nature as a moral subject. Humans also need to take responsibility for their moral decisions toward all creation through critical moral reasoning, which builds the character of humility and supports justice for all creation.

Abstract

This study aims to map global research trends in Character Education and Civic Education through a hybrid systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis. The dataset consisted of 201 Scopus-indexed articles published between 1989 and 2025. Article selection followed the PRISMA guidelines (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). At the same time, bibliometric data were visualized using VOSviewer, a software tool for mapping publication networks and keyword relationships. The analysis examined publication growth, country distribution, institutional contributions, author productivity, journal sources, and keyword co-occurrence patterns. The findings indicate that scholarly interest increased substantially after 2017 and reached its highest level during 2023–2024. The United States and Indonesia emerged as the leading contributors to this research field. Keyword co-occurrence analysis revealed a strong conceptual convergence between Character Education and Civic Education through themes such as morality, citizenship, civic virtues, democracy, and civic engagement. These findings confirm that both domains have evolved as complementary educational frameworks for fostering ethical reasoning, civic responsibility, and democratic participation in contemporary society.

Abstract

Civic Education is a crucial institutional foundation for cultivating critical and responsible citizens, particularly amidst contemporary challenges such as disinformation and ideological polarization. This study aims to map the intellectual structure and evolutionary trends in research concerning Civic Education and Democratic Literacy, specifically identifying research gaps in studies conducted within the Indonesian context. A bibliometric analysis was employed on 86 Scopus-indexed documents comprising 74 journal articles and 12 conference proceedings published between 2021 and 2025, using Biblioshiny and VOSviewer software. Results indicate the field is in an accelerated growth phase with a 25.74% annual growth rate, reflecting the growing academic urgency to address democratic crises and digital disinformation challenges in Indonesia. Scientific production is highly centralized in Indonesian institutions (UPI and UNJ) and characterized by collaboration fragmentation, with international co-authorship at 12.79%. Major thematic clusters reveal digital citizenship and blended learning as key emerging trends. The study recommends increasing inter-cluster collaboration and implementing large-scale empirical studies to test the effectiveness of new learning models in enhancing democratic competence.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how Indonesian students interpret their national identity while also introducing Indonesian culture during their studies abroad. The study is motivated by the phenomenon that cross-cultural experiences can strengthen, change, or challenge students’ understanding of their Indonesian identity. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The study involved five students from a university participating in student exchange and international internship programs in South Korea, Germany, and Thailand. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results indicate that national identity is shaped through reflection, social interaction, and cultural exposure in daily life. The students promoted Indonesian culture through moral values, good manners, and professionalism to counter negative stereotypes; by consistently upholding their principles amid cultural differences; and by introducing the Indonesian language, batik, and cuisine. International experiences were found to strengthen national identity through cultural diplomacy, moral awareness, and a sense of responsibility as representatives of the nation.
