Abstract

IInterest in organization is the existence of interest from students to participate in and choose to be active in an organization that makes a person have a tendency to pay attention to the activities of the organization he chooses based on encouragement from within. Perceptions of the organization and social motives are factors that influence the occurrence of organizational interest.                  This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of organization and social motives with organizational interest in the ushuluddin faculty and religious studies. Researchers used quantitative research methods with precision sampling techniques and the samples in this study were 70 students who joined the Study Program Student Association (HMPS). Data collection techniques in this study used a psychological scale including a scale of organizational interest, perception of the organization and social motives. The scale of organizational interest is 21 items (α = 0.905), the perception of the organization is 21 items (α = 0.880), and the social motive is 19 items (α = 0.866). The analysis technique used is a multiple regression analysis technique assisted by the SPSS 21.0 for windows program.                  The analyzed data shows the results: The results showed that the value of Rx1.2.3-y = 0.542, the value of F = 13.951 on the significance of p = 0.000 and stated (p < 0.01). The results obtained that the perception of the organization and social motives provide an effective contribution of 29.4% to the dependent variable and 70.6% generated by other variables outside the study. Based on the calculation results obtained the value of rx1-y = 0.459 and p = 0.000 (p <0.05). The results obtained indicate that there is a relationship between perceptions of the organization and interest in the organization. The results obtained stated that the perception variable towards the organization received an effective contribution of 16.7% to the interest in organization. Based on the calculation results obtained the value of rx2-y = 0.418 and p = 0.000 (p <0.05). The results obtained indicate that there is a relationship between social motives and organizational interest. The results obtained stated that the social motive variable received an effective contribution of 12.7% to organizational interest. Keywords: Interest in Organization, Perception of Organization, and social motives

Abstract

Covid-19 is still endemic in all countries of the world and affects all sectors of people's lives, including Indonesia. In Indonesia, almost all sectors are affected, especially the economic ecosystem that has become the foundation of society. MSME is one of the activities that increase growth, movement, and economic development. Researchers are interested in exploring and examining the marketing methods carried out by BM SMEs. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method approach. The research informants this time were two people, the initials IS and AG. The IS informant is the owner of BM, while the AG informant is an employee of the marketing department. The data collection method used in this study was semi-structured interviews. The researcher uses a time triangulation technique which aims to cross-examine informants who know very well about BM. The results show that BM has Instagram social media but is not active. So that it is not optimal in doing marketing, especially in online marketing. Suggestions for business owners are to keep abreast of the times, such as optimizing the use of technology that is useful in developing a business. In addition, it also maintains and improves product quality so that it can compete with similar business people. Then suggestions for further researchers are to examine other factors in order to expand the scope of research.Keywords: Instagram, marketing psychology, MSME

Abstract

Impulsive buying is an irrational purchase that occurs quickly without any consideration and there is no process of searching for information about the product purchased so that the purchase occurs because of an emotional impulsive. One of the factors that influence impulsive buying is a hedonic lifestyle. The hedonic lifestyle is a lifestyle or lifestyle that is expressed with activities, interests and opinions that prioritize emotional properties rather than logic and is a lifestyle that leads to pleasure which is the goal of life. This study aims to determine the relationship between hedonic lifestyle and impulsive buying in adolescents. This study uses a quantitative method with Pearson's product moment analysis. The subjects in this study were 360 adolescents aged 12-23 years in the city of Pekanbaru which were taken using quota sampling. Based on the results of research conducted that there is a positive relationship between the hedonic lifestyle and the impulsive buying tendency of teenagers in the city of Pekanbaru with a significance value of 0.000 and a correlation coefficient of 0.735, which means the higher the hedonic lifestyle, the higher the tendency of impulsive buying in adolescents, and conversely the lower the hedonic lifestyle. hedonic lifestyle, the lower the tendency of impulsive buying in adolescents in Pekanbaru. Abstract

In the recent years, the use of social media has increased. Social media is the fastest way to reach information and make online communication. According to worldwide digital population- Internet - Statista on Jul 26, 2022, there are five billion internet users worldwide, which means 63 percent of the population in the world. This data further indicates that the male’s use of social media was higher than females. The Kurdish version of Hopkins Symptoms CheckList -25 and Perceived Stress Scale was used to assess psychological distress among university students that used social media. The questionnaire was distributed randomly among university students. Finally, 143 university students participated in the study. The prevalence of depression and anxiety was 65.03%, 62.24%, the level of stress was (M = 17.77, SD = 5.570). As a result, high levels of depression, anxiety, and stress among both females than males Halabja University students were found.  This study aimed to indicate the impacts of social media on mental health among Halabja University students. The study found out that the use of social media has been making negative impacts on students’ mental health.

Abstract

Each year, new environmental threats develop. These threats can be either natural or man-made. Human-caused environmental effects are becoming more prominent and influential. Their activities and deeds endanger the ecosystem and future generations. Human, economic, and political actions are the fundamental causes of environmental pollution and damage. As a result, environmental changes have an impact on people's physical and emotional well-being. Nobody questions the fact that the environment is deteriorating. Numerous studies have demonstrated that this transition occurs and has an impact on our lives. One of the most serious concerns confronting the world today is environmental contamination. A polluted environment is one of the difficulties that everyone in society encounters. Visual pollution is a type of environmental contamination. Any human action that affects the environment is referred to as visual pollution. A lack of environmental knowledge and irresponsibility causes visual pollution. There is no doubt that pollution harms the environment's living and inanimate components because the environment is necessary for human life and other kinds of life. Abstract

The parenting style applied by both parents has a big influence on the child's development. The low interaction between one or both parents in parenting has an impact on the poor attachment between parent and child. Dysfunctional parenting causes children to have low psychological well-being, less optimal and effective maternal care also has a significant impact on the child's mental and emotional development. Good parenting will reduce the damage to the child's social skills and he can be accepted by his peer environment. This study aims to increase information and knowledge about positive parenting through positive parenting education training. The training module is structured around the positive parenting principles coined by John Gray. The research module was prepared based on the Russell method with a focus on content and empirical validation tests. The content validation test resulted in Aiken V values moving between 0.71 to 0.94 with a mean of 0.78, while the empirical validation showed a decrease in the pretest and posttest scores on the dysfunctional parenting scale in the experimental group. Based on the legibility test, this module can be an alternative option to be given to parents in order to be able to implement positive parenting in the family.Keywords: Positive Parenting, Mother's Care, Mother's involvement

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and coping strategy with happiness in students who are working on their thesis. The population in this study were students of the 2018 Islamic Counseling Guidance Study Program with a total sample of 70 students selected using the simple random sampling technique. This study uses the happiness scale, social support scale and coping strategy scale. Data analysis uses multiple regression analysis techniques assisted by the JASP software version 0.16.1.0 for windows. The first hypothesis test produces an R value = 0,582 and an F = 17.128 value with a significant level of P <0.01 these result indicate that there is a significant relationship between social support and coping strategies with happiness. The two independent variables make an affective contribution of 33.8%. In the second hypothesis test, the correlation value (rx₁-y) = 0.538 with a significance value of P = < .001 shows that prove that there is a significant relationship between social support and happiness. The social support variable makes an affective contribution of 23.3%. In third hypothesis test, the correlation value (rx₂-y) = 0.430 with a significance value of P = < .001 shows that there is an affective significant relationship between coping strategies and happiness. Coping strategy variables provide contribution relationship of 10.5%.Keywords: Happiness, Social Support, Coping Strategy

Abstract

Public speaking is an unpleasant situation accompanied by feelings of fear, worry, and  discomfort that will make a person feel unable  to convey his message properly and correctly in front of a crowd. This study aims to determine the relationship between  k omunikasi  d alam  k eluarga and citra tubuh with kecemasan berbicara  d i depan umum.  The population in the study was 80 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program class of 2021, Raden Intan State Islamic University, Lampung.  The method in this study is quantitative with cluster sampling technique.  The data collection technique used a public speaking anxiety scale of 34 aitems (ɑ = 0.892) a family communication scale of 30 aitems (ɑ = 0.826) and a body image scale of 40 aitems (ɑ = 0.876). The analyst technique used is multiple regression analysis  with Sofware JASP version 0.15.  The results of the first study showed that there was a significant relationship between communication in the family and body image with anxiety about speaking in front of youmum in first-year students  with a value of R = 0.420 and a value of F = 8.269 with a significant degree of p < 0.01 (p <0.01). Secondly, there was  a significant negative relationship between communication in the family and public speaking anxiety in first-year students with a grade (Rₓ₁-y) = -0.353 with a significant level p = 0.001 (p < 0.01) with an effective contribution (SE) of 5%.  Third, there was a significant negative  relationship between body image and public speaking anxiety in first-year students with a grade (Rₓ₁-y) = -0.325 with a significant level p = 0.003 (p < 0.01) with an effective contribution (SE) of 10%. Abstract

Our performance in carrying out tasks can be different for each task. This is experienced by college students, where performance in completing assignments in certain courses can be different from other courses. In the process, students receive feedback from lecturers regarding their performance in completing the task, which is then expected to be a way of correcting mistakes and show an improved performance. Even so, previous studies have seen that effect of feedback on performance is still inconsistent. Feedback intervention theory shows that feedback on performance can be seen from a person's motivation to do tasks at a higher level of difficulty. This research is an experimental study with a randomized-blocked two group design (post-test only). This study replicate previous research. The aim of the study was to see the effect of the type of feedback (positive and negative) on performance as seen from the motivation to do task at a higher level of difficulty. The results of the analysis of the chi square test were significant χ2 (1, n = 60) = 8.864, p <0.05. This shows that there is a difference in the task performance between the group that receive positive feedback and the group that receive negative feedback. The results of the study are in line with previous research that there is an effect of the type of feedback on college students’ task performance. The implications of this research can be applied to the field of education in providing feedback to college students regarding their task performance.Keywords: feedback; task-performance; college students

Abstract

Purchasing decisions in urban communities are not only based on product taste or quality, but also other factors such as brand image and lifestyle which most local culinary entrepreneurs pay little attention to. This shows that urban people with high mobility want a product that is able to answer their problems, namely food products that are fast, practical and prestige. This study aims to reveal and analyze consumer purchasing decisions in a review of brand image and lifestyle, is there a positive and significant relationship between brand image and lifestyle and purchase decisions at RM Sambel Alu Bandar Lampung consumers.This research is a quantitative study that uses a psychological measurement tool with a Likert scale model as a method of collecting research data. Purchase decision scale with Cronbach alpha (α = 0.815), brand image scale with Cronbach alpha (α = 0.813), and lifestyle scale with Cronbach alpha (α = 0.936). The population in this study were consumers of RM Sambel Alu with certain criteria determined by the researcher. To ensure that the sample truly represents the entire population, the researcher chose purposive sampling and accidental sampling techniques as a reference in sampling. Analysis of the research data was carried out using a two-predictor regression analysis technique which in the calculation process was assisted by the SPSS 21 computer program. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant relationship between brand image and lifestyle and consumer purchasing decisions of RM Sambel Alu. The results of the regression analysis show that the two independent variables make an effective contribution (SE) of 36.2% to purchasing decisions (R2=0.362; R=0.601; F=27.459; sig. 0.000 (p<0.01). Meanwhile, the remaining 63.8% can be influenced by variables other than this research.X1-Y=0.360; sig.0.000 (p<0.01) means that there is a significant positive relationship between brand image and purchasing decisions.X2-Y= 0.581; sig.0.000 (p<0.05) means there is a positive relationship significant relationship between lifestyle and purchasing decisions. Keywords: Purchase Decision, Brand Image, Lifestyle, Consumers, Local Culinary.
