Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional maturity and feelings of breaking up with a tendency to depression in students of the 6th & 8th semester of geophysical engineering study program at the Sumatra Institute of Technology. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a relationship between emotional maturity and feelings of breaking up with a tendency to depression. The measuring instruments used in this study include the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), the Emotional Maturity Scale and the Breakup Feeling Scale. The results showed the correlation value (R = 0.851 and F = 88.238 with P = 0.000). These results indicate a relationship between emotional maturity and feelings of breaking up with a tendency to depression. Then, the results of the analysis were obtained with a value of rx1y = -0.766 and p = 0.000, which means that there is a significant negative relationship between emotional maturity and a tendency to depression. Also obtained the results of the analysis with a value of rx2y = 0.842 and p = 0.000 which means that there is a significant positive relationship between feelings of breaking up with depression tendencies. The effective contribution of emotional maturity and feelings of breaking up on depression tendencies is 72.5%, the remaining 27.5% is influenced by other factors outside this study.

Abstract

This study measured 32 items of achievement motivation variable in an undimensional manner which was adapted from Muthee and Thomas (2009) into Indonesian language and culture by involving peer review to reduce the effect of bias. The procedure for adapting measuring instruments through the stages proposed by Beaton et al. (2000), the first stage is translation. The first translator is mastered in English and the second translator had competence in the field of Psychology and English. Second, is the synthesis of the translation results, back translation, and a committee review of experts. Questionnaires were distributed to 102 MA Darussunnah students, Ciputat, South Tangerang. All items were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The results showed that 32 items were undimensional. This means that all items only measure one factor, so the one-factor model contained in the Motivation Achievement Inventory can be accepted. Of the 32 items, there were 15 items that were invalid, so they were dropped. That is, only 17 items that measure the achievement motivation variable. Keywords: Motivation Achievement Inventory, Adaptation, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA).

Abstract

Group learning methods during online learning are still applied with the aim of making it easier to do the tasks given. However, there are negative effects that arise from completing tasks in groups, one of which is the tendency of group members' behavior to reduce effort or also known as social loafing behavior. One way to minimize social loafing behavior is to increase academic self-efficacy in each individual. This study aims to determine the relationship between academic self-efficacy and social loafing in student study groups. The population in this study were students of the Islamic Study Program of UIN Raden Intan Lampung batch 2019 which consisted of five classes with a total of 154 students. The researcher used a quantitative research method with a sampling technique in the form of cluster random sampling and obtained a sample of 62 students from the population of class D and E. The data collection technique used the academic self-efficacy scale (α= 0.900) and the social loafing scale (α= 0.859). The data analysis technique used in this study is a correlation analysis technique with the help of the JASP 0.14.1.0 program. The results showed the value of r = -0.693 with a significance of p < 0.001, which means that there is a negative and significant relationship between academic self-efficacy and social loafing. The results also show that academic self-efficacy contributes 48% effectively to social loafing. Keywords: Social loafing, Academic Self efficacy, Students

The results show that there are psychological dynamics that accompany the decision-making process of parents in marrying children due to premarital pregnancy. The various reactions that parents show when they find out that their child is pregnant are generally in the form of negative emotion, such as: shocked, upset, anger, sadness, disappointment, disbelief, and shame. Abstract

Abstract

Quarter life crisis is an emotional crisis experienced by individuals who are in the transition phase from adolescence to early adulthood (emerging adulthood). Students as individuals in their early adulthood need to have a solution in order to properly deal with this quarter life crisis period. Hope can reduce distress and foster a positive effect. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hope and quarter life crisis in students who experience toxic relationships. The population in this study were students of the State Islamic University of Raden Intan Lampung. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 92 respondents. The measuring tools used are the quarter life crisis scale and the expectation scale. The analysis technique used is product moment correlation with the help of IBM SPSS ver 25 software for windows. The results showed that the majority of students were in the moderate category of quarter life crisis where women were higher than men. The expectation variable shows that the expectations that students have are mostly in the moderate category, both are in the same category. The results of the analysis show that expectations have a significant negative effect on the quarter life crisis (R= -0.431, R Square= 0.185, p < 0.01), which means that the higher the expectation, the lower the quarter life crisis experienced. And conversely, the lower the expectation, the higher the quarter life crisis experienced. Judging from the value of R Square, the expectation has an effect of 18.5% on the quarter life crisis, and the other 81.5% is influenced by other variables outside the study.Key Word: Hope, Quarter Life Crisis, Toxic Relationship

The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with JASP software help vers.15.The results of the data analysis show:1. The results of hypothesis testing with an R-value of 0.647 and an R Square of 0.419, which means the variance of the capable subjective well-being explained by self-compassion and peer group influence is 0.419 or a percentage of 41.9% while the rest explained by other things not examined in the study.2. The results of the correlation test of the self-compassion variable with the Pearson value correlation 0.602 p < 0.001 which means partially self. variable compassion has a relationship with subjective well-being.3. The test results on the independent variable peer group influence found the value of Pearson correlation 0.392 p < 0.001, this means partially variable peer group influence has a relationship with subjective well-being. Keywords: Peer Group Influence, Self Compassion, Subjective Well-Being
