Abstract

The background of the research in the 5th grade of Primary School Randegan Wetan 1 is the discovery of the fact that the results of student learning on the material changes in the nature of the object is still low. This is because the material obtained by students is less meaningful. To overcome these problems it will be applied Contextual Teaching and Learning(CTL) model. The method used in this research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 5th graders of Randegan Wetan 1 Primary School, which amounted to 30 students. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes on material changes in the properties of objects. This research process is done for three cycles because result learn student reach target at cyle III with percentage 87%. In this case it can be concluded that Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research (using spiral model by Kemmis and Taggart) was to improve learning process (including teacher activity and student activity) and learning result of free verse writing by applying Teams Games Tournaments method. The subject were 5th-B grade Cileuksa Elementary School Paseh Subdistric Sumedang Regency. Students struggles by decided an idea, and free verse writing with personification and simile figuartive language. The research was doing up to three cycles with learning process result was increasing in every cycles until reached the target. The learning result, it was also increasing in every cycles and reached the target. First cycles reached 26,9%, second cycles reached 73,91%, and third cycles reached 86,95%. The analizet data was qualitative data, enhanced with free verse writing test evaluation. Result found that application of Teams Games Tournaments method improved students free versewriting skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan problem-based learning (PBL) dan pendekatan konvensional terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar. Metode eksperimen merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan desain penelitian kelompok kontrol pretes-postes. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Corenda yang berperan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SDN Jatiputri yang berperan sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa skala sikap motivasi belajar, format observasi, wawancara, dan jurnal. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan taraf signifikansi 0,05 yang menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan problem-based learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa secara signifikan, begitupun dengan pendekatan konvensional yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa secara signifikan. Peningkatan motivasi belajar pada kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan problem-based learning (PBL) secara signifikan lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan pendekatan konvensional. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan problem-based learning (PBL) mendapatkan respon yang positif dari siswa kelas eksperimen. Kata Kunci: problem-based learning (PBL), motivasi belajar.

Abstract

The ability of mathematical understanding among elementary school students is still low one of them on geometry material some students still find it difficult. As an alternative to improve the ability of mathematical understanding of RME approach. The RME approach is a learning that uses concrete objects toward abstract concepts, or learning can use shadows. The research method used experiments with pretest and postest group design. The population in the study were elementary school students in Rancakalong sub-district with the sample of SDN Pasirbenteng II as the experimental class and SDN Pasirbiru as the control class. The results of the research that the RME approach can improve the ability of mathematical understanding, the enhancement of the mathematical ability of conventional learning can be categorized similarly with RME learning, through RME approach the students give positive responses to the learning of mathematics, and the supporting factors are group learning and media help students understand the concept while the factors The inhibitor is not yet used to learning with RME and less management of the class.

Abstract

Music is an idea of feelings that are written in tone and rhythm. The learning of musical instruments applied in elementary school is very supportive during its growth and development, because giving practical experience means opening the mind to be ready to receive broad insights and knowledge. This study aims to examine the learning of Drum Band music instrument at SDN Citengah which has contributed to the improvement of musical skill of the students. Qualitative descriptive is the right method to describe the phenomenon. Description of the learning process, learning outcomes, and factors supporting the success of learning into the formulation of the problem in this study. Data collection techniques used to describe the learning of musical instruments Drum Band is an interview technique, observation, documentation, and field notes. The results describe the learning process that has three stages, namely the repetition stage, the stage of giving the material, and the training stage. Lessons learned have improved students' musical skills and improved their discipline.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Sindang II,ditemukannya permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Hal inidiakibatkan oleh penggunaan metode ceramah saja pada saat pembelajaran. Selain itupembelajaran tidak melibatkan siswa untuk menjadi aktif, hal tersebut menyebabkan siswamenjadi kurang termotivasi untuk mengikuti pembelajaran. Dari permasalahan tersebut,maka diterapkanlah metode role playing pada pembelajaran IPA dalam materi hubunganmahluk hidup dengan lingkungannya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penerapanmetode role playing mengantarkan siswa kedalam pembelajaran yang menyenangkan,melibatkan siswa menjadi aktif serta berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah PTK. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga siklusdengan target yang ditentukan yaitu 85%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatanhasil belajar siswa, pada siklus I persentasenya sebesar 26,92%, siklus II 57,69% dan siklus III92,31%. Maka, penerapan metode role playing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

According to the research at fifth grade students in SDN Merapi for Social subject about Time Zone Divining in Indonesia that hasn’t run maximum. The researcher tired to solve the problem by using Class Act Research with inquiry methode. The method plan can fixing the students learning process and the result. Based on the results that have been obtained from the implementation of action found fact that is for learning planning activities and implementation activity of teacher performance in 3rd cycle is 100%. Student activitiy and result learning also have been improved. The student activity at 3rd cycle is 97,7%, the result obtained exceeded the expected target of 88%. The result learning has been increased in 3rd cycle is 97,5%. The result has reached the target is 86%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of inquiry methodes can improve students’ result learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara memerankan tokoh drama di kelas V SDN Tegalendah menunjukkan hasil yang rendah. Maka dipilih tindakan melalui penerapan Model Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) dengan Teknik Hypnoteaching. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan perencanaan, kinerja guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa dalam keterampilan memerankan tokoh drama. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas desain  Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart dengan Instrumen pedoman observasi kinerja guru (perencanaan dan pelaksanaan) serta aktivitas siswa, catatan lapangan, pedoman wawancara, dan tes hasil belajar. Diperoleh data kinerja guru perencanaan siklus I 84%, siklus II 96,8% dan siklus III 100%. Kinerja guru pelaksanaan siklus I 78,78%, siklus II 88,8% dan siklus III 100%. Aktivitas siswa siklus I 38%, siklus II 54,1% dan siklus III 86,3%. Hasil belajar Siklus I 28,57%, siklus II 66,67% dan siklus III 90,9%.  Simpulan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Model VAK dengan Teknik Hypnoteaching dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara dalam memerankan tokoh drama.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Berbicara, Memerankan Tokoh Drama, Model VAK, Teknik Hypnoteaching.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills need to be applied to students, both in the home, school, and community. One way that can be done to develop and improve creative thinking skills is to apply problem-based learning. This study aimed to find out the improvement and difference in the improvement of creative thinking skill in high, medium, and low group students after being treated in the form of problem based learning. The method in this research is pre-experimental method with one-group pretest-posttest design. The samples are students grade III SDN Sukaraja II. Instruments used in this study is test and non-test. The results of this study showed that of the Paired sample t-test of the three groups and one-way anova had P-value of 0.000, this means there is a significant increase and difference in the increase in the creative thinking skills of high, medium, and low group students.
