Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using magic straws on the fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years at Al-Muhsinin Kindergarten, Sungai Aur District, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province. This research uses a quantitative research approach with experimental research methods and uses a pre-experimental type with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The research subjects were teachers and children, while the object was the influence of using magic straws on the fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years at Al-Muhsinin Kindergarten. The population of this study was all children at Al-Muhsinin Kindergarten, totaling 25 children and the sample for this research was children aged 5-6 years, totaling 17 children, using the Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection techniques are observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique uses statistical analysis with a t-test using a formula using the SPSS version 29 program. The statistical t test results have a sig value. 0.001 < 0.05 with tcount = 32.168 > ttable = 1.753. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of magic straws on the fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years in Al-Muhsinin Kindergarten, Sungai Aur District, West Pasaman Regency, West Sumatra Province, namely 79.66 %.Keywords: Magic Straws; Fine Motor Skills; Early ChildhoodAbstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media sedotan ajaib (magic straws) terhadap perkembangan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Al-Muhsinin Kecamatan Sungai Aur Kabupaten Pasaman Barat Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen dan menggunakan jenis pre-eksperimental dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan anak, sedangkan objeknya yaitu pengaruh penggunaan media sedotan ajaib (magic straws) terhadap perkembangan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Al-Muhsinin. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak di TK Al-Muhsinin yang berjumlah 25 anak dan sampel penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 17 anak, dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik dengan uji t-test menggunakan rumus dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 29. Hasil uji t statistik  nilai sig. 0,001 < 0,05 dengan  thitung  = 32,168 > ttabel = 1,753. Maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media sedotan ajaib (magic straws) terhadap perkembangan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Al-Muhsinin Kecamatan Sungai Aur Kabupaten Pasaman Barat Provinsi Sumatera Barat yaitu sebesar 79,66%.Kata kunci: Sedotan Ajaib (Magic Sraws); Motorik Halus; Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low religious values of early childhood at Azalia School Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of improving religious values in early childhood using puzzle media. This study was a classroom action esearch, with the subjects being the teacher and 12 students. The object of this study was the Pillar of Islam media. This research was conducted in two cycles, each with two meetings. Data collection techniques used were observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was qualitative descriptive analysis with percentages. Based on the results of the research and data analysis, it was shown that the implementation of the Pillar of Islam media can improve the religious values of early childhood at Azalia School Pekanbaru. This can be seen from the fact that before the corrective action, students' reading comprehension skills only reached the category of not yet developed. After the action was implemented in the first cycle, the average score of students increased to the category of beginning to develop  and in the second cycle, it increased to the category of developing as expected. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Pillar of Islam media can improve the religious values of early childhood at Azalia School Pekanbaru. Keywords: Puzzle Media, Values, Religion, Early AgeAbstrak: Penelitian ini di latarbelakangi oleh rendahnya nilai-nilai agama anak usia dini di RA Azalia Pekanbaru. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui proses peningkatan nilai-nilai agama anak usia dini dengan menggunakan media puzzle. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan 12 peserta didik. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah media pillar of islam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus 2 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis dekskriptif kualitatif dengan persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pillar of islam dapat meningkatkan nilai-nilai agama anak usia dini di RA Azalia Pekanbaru. Hal ini dapat diketahui sebelum tindakan perbaikan, keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa hanya mencapai kategori belum berkembang (BB). Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I nilai rata-rata anak didik meningkat dengan kategori mulai berkembang (MB) dan pada siklus II meningkat kategori berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media pillar of islam dapat meningkatkan nilai-nilai agama anak usia dini di RA Azalia Pekanbaru.Kata Kunci: Media Puzzle, Nilai-Nilai, Agama, Usia Dini

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the Spin Tamadun game in improving early childhood communication skills through Islamic history learning at KB/TK Islam Miftahul Jannah Semarang. The problem addressed is the low ability of children to express opinions, respond to questions, and use new vocabulary actively in learning activities. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques involving 15 children aged 5–6 years over four meetings. The results show an improvement in children’s communication abilities, indicated by an increased vocabulary range, greater confidence in speaking, and more active participation in class discussions and question–answer sessions. Spin Tamadun successfully created an enjoyable, interactive, and contextual learning atmosphere that encouraged children to express ideas both verbally and nonverbally with higher confidence. Therefore, Spin Tamadun serves as a simple yet effective educational medium to stimulate language development, speaking confidence, and communication skills in early childhood through meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences.Keywords: Spin Tamadun, children's communication, Islamic history learning. ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan permainan Spin Tamadun dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi anak usia dini melalui pembelajaran Sejarah Islam di KB/TK Islam Miftahul Jannah Bringin Kota Semarang. Permasalahan yang diangkat ialah rendahnya kemampuan anak dalam hal komunikasi, menyampaikan pendapat, merespon pertanyaan, serta menggunakan kosakata baru secara aktif dalam kegiatan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap 15 anak berusia 5-6 tahun selama empat kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi anak yang ditandai dengan bertambahnya kosakata, meningkatnya keberanian berbicara, serta partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan diskusi dan tanya di kelas. Spin Tamadun terbukti mampu menicptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, interaktif, dan kontekstual, sehingga mendorong anak untuk berani mengemukakan ide secara lisan maupun nonverbal dengan lebih percaya diri. Dengan demikian, Spin Tamadun berperan sebagai media edukatif yang sederhana namun efektif untuk menstimulasi perkembangan bahasa, keberanian berbicara, dan kemampuan komunikasi anak usia dini dalam konteks pembelajaran yang bermakna dan menyenangkan.Kata Kunci:  Spin Tamadun, Komunikasi anak, Pembelajaran Sejarah Islam.

Abstract

Traditional food not only represents cultural richness, but also has an important value in building healthy eating habits and understanding of halal principles, especially in early childhood. This study aims to explore the introduction of halal traditional food through the supplementary feeding program (SFP) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) institutions in Tangerang Regency. The qualitative descriptive method was used in this study, involving five ECE institutions as research subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results showed that each ECE institution had a diverse supplementary feeding program, with a carefully selected halal traditional food menu. Children showed high enthusiasm for the food served, while parents gave full support to this program. Challenges faced include limited resources and knowledge about traditional food. However, there are opportunities to improve this program through collaboration with local communities and increased training for teachers. This study concludes that the introduction of halal traditional food to early childhood can be effective with the right support, providing a positive impact on understanding culture and religious values from an early age. This study also provides recommendations for increasing food variety and a deeper understanding of culinary and halal aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Flipped E-Comic approach for anti-drug education based on students’ local wisdom. The design stage of this approach is the main focus, emphasizing cultural values and students’ local knowledge. This research includes identifying learning objectives that reflect cultural character and anti-drug values, selecting learning content relevant to students’ cultural backgrounds, and developing an E-comic format that integrates cultural elements. It also includes creating an interactive user interface that reflects local cultural features and utilizing visual and multimedia components that support cultural values. The prototype testing stage involved students from diverse cultural backgrounds to collect feedback for further design improvements. The results were used to improve the E-Comic tutorial design to align with the intended learning objectives. This research integrates cultural elements and local wisdom into instructional design, creating a learning tool that that is culturally relevant to students. The study highlights the importance of instructional design that considers cultural and local values in achieving anti-drug education goals. It also demonstrates that the Flipped E-Comic approachcan serve as an effective alternative for promoting cultural character education and raising anti-drug awareness among students from an early age.    Keywords: Anti-Drug Education, Students’ Local Wisdom, E-Comic ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Pendekatan Flipped E-Komik Pendidikan Anti Narkoba berbasis Kearifan Lokal. Tahap desain pendekatan ini menjadi fokus utama dengan memperhatikan nilai-nilai budaya dan kearifan lokal siswa. Penelitian ini mencakup identifikasi tujuan pembelajaran yang mencerminkan karakter budaya dan nilai-nilai anti narkoba, pemilihan konten pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kearifan lokal siswa, pengembangan format E-Komik yang memadukan elemen-elemen budaya, interaktivitas, desain antarmuka pengguna yang mencerminkan unsur budaya lokal, serta penggunaan media visual dan multimedia yang mendukung nilai-nilai budaya. Tahap pengujian prototipe tutorial E-Komik melibatkan siswa dari beragam latar belakang budaya, dengan tujuan mendapatkan umpan balik yang diperlukan untuk perbaikan desain. Hasil pengujian prototipe digunakan untuk memperbaiki dan menyesuaikan desain tutorial E-Komik agar sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini mengintegrasikan elemen-elemen budaya dan kearifan lokal dalam desain pembelajaran, menciptakan alat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan konteks budaya siswa. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya desain pembelajaran yang mempertimbangkan nilai-nilai budaya dan lokal dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan anti narkoba, serta menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan seperti Flipped E-Komik dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam pendidikan karakter budaya dan kesadaran anti narkoba pada siswa sejak dini.Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Anti Narkoba, Kearifan Lokal, E- komik
