Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 4-5 years at Darussakam Petapahan Jaya Kindergarten before and after using the Bowling game. The method used in this research was Pre-Experimental with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This design used a pre-test at the beginning before the research as a way to find out children's ability to recognize the concept of numbers in children before being given treatment. Then, further treatment was carried out or given to research subjects using the Number Bowling Game. A post-test was carried out to obtain data on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers after being given treatment. Based on the analysis of the Wilcoxon signed Rink Test, which at the time of the Pre-test showed the results of 9 children, there were 6 people (60%) could recognize number forms were in the undeveloped range and 3 people (40%) started to develop. After Post-test of the Bowling game, 9 of the children were in very well-developed criteria (BSB). Statistical Test show that Asymp.sig (2-tiled) 0.007 < 0.05. This means that there is an influence of bowling games on the ability to recognize the shape of the number symbol in children  Keyword: Bowling Games. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the ummi method to improve the ability to memorize short surahs for young children aged 5-6 years at Al Kautsar Kindergarten, Huta Raja Tinggi District, Padang Lawas Regency. This research is an experimental research that uses a quasi-experimental design where the individuals who are the research subjects are already in a certain group with a specific purpose. on the ability to memorize short surahs. The population of this study were students at Kindergarten Al Kautsar, Huta Raja Tinggi District, Padang Lawas Regency totaling 70 children, with a sample of 42 children consisting of class A1, namely the control class of 21 children, and B1, namely the experimental class of 21 children. The sample was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, namely by determining the sample through certain considerations. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique used the t-test with the help of SPSS Version 16 software. The results showed that Sig (2-tailed) = 0.017 at a significant level α = 0.05 H1 is accepted, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect after being given treatment with the ummi method in increasing memorization. SoH0 rejectedH1 accepted, it means that the ability to memorize short surahs is better through the application of memorizing with the ummi method compared to before being given the treatment. The effect of the ummi method to improve the ability to memorize short surahs of group A and B children in Al Kautsar Kindergarten (TK) Al Kautsar, Huta Raja Tinggi District, Padang Lawas Regency was 92%. Keywords: Ability to Memorize Children's Short Surahs, Methods, UmmiABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode ummi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal surah pendek bagi anak usia dini 5-6 tahun di TK Al Kautsar Kecamatan Huta Raja Tinggi Kabupaten Padang Lawas. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksprimen yang menggunakan quasi eksprimental design dimana individu-individu yang menjadi subjek penelitian telah berada dalam kelompok tertentu dengan tujuan tertentu pula subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik usia 5-6 tahun kelompok B dan A, dan objek penelitian adalah pengaruh metode ummi terhadap kemampuan menghafal surah pendek. Populasi penelitian ini adalah anak didik di TK Al Kautsar Kecamatan Huta Raja Tinggi Kabupaten Padang Lawas berjumlah 70 anak,dengan sampel berjumlah 42 anak yang terdiri dari kelas A1 yaitu kelas kontrol sebanyak 21 anak, dan B1 yaitu kelas eksprimen sebanyak 21 anak. Sampel dilakukan dengan tekhnik purposive sampling atau stratified random sampling, yaitu dengan penentuan sampel melalui pertimbangan tertentu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara,observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dengan bantuan software SPSS Versi 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sig (2-tailed)=0,017 pada taraf signifikan α = 0.05 H1 diterima maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan setelah diberikannya perlakuan dengan metode ummi dalam meningkatkan menghafal. Jadi H0ditolak  H1 diterima maka artinya kemampuan menghafal surah pendek lebih baik melalui penerapan menghafal dengan metode ummi dibandingkan sebelum diberi perlakukan. Pengaruh metode ummi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal surah pendek anak kelompok A dan B di taman kanak-kanak (TK) Al Kautsar  Kecamatan Huta Raja Tinggi Kabupaten Padang Lawas sebesar 92%.   Kata kunci: Kemampuan Menghafal Surah Pendek Anak, Metode, ummi

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research is motivated by the rapid growth of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in Bengkalis Regency, which has not yet been developed into quality PAUD. Therefore, the government has established quality indicators for PAUD, namely the Holistic Integrative Early Childhood Development Program (PAUD HI). In this case, the Holistic Integrative Early Childhood Development Program (PAUD HI) is a program initiated by the government through the Ministry of Education under the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education. This program is implemented to assess the quality of PAUD in Bengkalis Regency, specifically focusing on TK Negeri Pembina in Bengkalis Regency.This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicate that TK Negeri Pembina has developed the completeness of PAUD HI in Bengkalis Regency. The factors influencing the development of the PAUD HI Program at TK Negeri Pembina in Bengkalis Regency into a quality PAUD are categorized into two: internal and external factors.Internal factors affecting the development of PAUD HI include misconceptions about PAUD HI in many TK Negeri Pembina schools in Bengkalis Regency, especially among educators who have not provided the essential needs of children comprehensively. The competencies of educators are not fully integrated with PAUD HI, and parents' awareness of the impact of violence on children is still low. External factors include TK Negeri Pembina not having standardized essential needs fulfilled by the Bengkalis Regency Government to become a quality PAUD.KeyWord. Holistic Integratif Development

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the needs of teachers and students towards the online comic as the learning media. This research is a survey research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The sample in this study was 417 people consisting of 323 students, 55 teachers and 39 lecturers who were taken by stratified sampling and random. The research data was obtained from distributing questionnaires through google form and analyzed using the percentage formula. The findings obtained were: 1) 69.15% of teachers and 58.15% of students often use the audio-visual as the learning media; 2) the characteristics of the online comics that have been used by teachers and students have met good criteria with a percentage of 80.91%; 3) 84.04% of teachers and 74.92% of students have never used online comics as the learning media; 4) 93.26% of teachers and 92.26% of students are interested in using online comics as the learning media; 5) 97.87% of teachers and 97.52% of students want online comic designs to have a color combination; 6) 97.87% of teachers and 89.16% of students want a story in the form of a dialogue text. From the results of the study, it reveals that the online comics are needed as a media of learning among teachers and students. All in all, the research results can be used as information for researchers, further researchers or teachers in general as a reference for developing or using the learning media.

Abstract

This research was motivated by there are still children who are still not used to and show an independent attitude in the implementation of toilet training because children aged 1-3 years still do not show an independent attitude in habituating toilet training because many children use diapers, lack of parental care, lack of parental knowledge about toilet training. This study aims to determine the role of parents in toilet training habits to train the independence of children aged 1-3. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The study population consisted of 101 children, with a sample of 11 children. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Miles and Huberman's model analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The findings of this study: 2 out of 11 parents have not yet played a role, 7 out of 11 parents have started to play a role, and 2 out of 11 parents have played a role in toilet training habits. The results of the study 1) parents play a role in educating toilet training in the age range of 1-3 years, 2) parents play a role in raising children not to use diapers/diapers, not to wet the bed day/night, 3) parents play a guiding role through speech and action. The habit of toilet training is carried out through several stages, namely: teaching children to squat, wash themselves, urinate/ defecate in the toilet, go to the toilet by themselves, open/put on their own pants, and take off diapers/diapers day/night. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that the role of parents in toilet training to train the independence of children aged 1-3 years in Sumber Makmur Village, parents have started to act as educators, caregivers and mentors to train independence in children aged 1-3 years in Route 3 of Sumber Makmur Village Tapung District, Kampar Regency.Keywords: Role of Parents, Toilet Training, Independence

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pernikahan dini terhadap pola asuh orang tua pada anak usia dini dan faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya pernikahan dini di kalangan masyarakat Melayu Kecamatan Pujud Early Childhood Islamic Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University RiauKabupaten Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Informan penelitian ini adalah tiga pasang suami istri dari enam pasang di mana sang istri menikah di usia dini  di Kecamatan Pujud Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan: 1)  Dampak pernikahan dini terhadap pola asuh orang tua pada anak usia dini di kalangan suku Melayu Kecamatan Pujud Kabupaten Rokan Hilir mengakibatkan terjadinya kesulitan-kesulitan orang tua dalam pengasuhan seperti dalam mengatasi anak yang sulit diatur, panik saat anak sakit, sulit mengontrol emosi di kala marah dan lainya. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua tentang pengasuhan (parenting) dan belum matangnya emosional orang tua sehingga berdampak pada pengasuhan anak. Pola asuh yang diterapkan orang tua yang menikah dini pada pengasuhan anak usia dini terlihat bervariasi, ada yang menggunakan pola permisif, ada yang otoriter dan ada juga yang demokratis. Usia istri yang menikah dini dapat melakukan pengasuhan ke arah demokratis apabila ditopang dengan kematangan dan tingkat pendidikan suami yang mempu mengedukasi sang istri. 2) Faktor-faktor terjadinya pernikahan dini pada suku Melayu di Kecamatan Pujud Kabupaten Rokan Hilir adalah karena 4 faktor, yaitu faktor ekonomi, faktor sosial budaya, faktor  pendidikan dan  faktor pergaulan bebas. Kata Kunci: Pernikahan Dini, Pola Asuh, Anak Usia DiniABSTRACT. This research aims to determine the impact of early marriage on parenting patterns for young children and the factors that cause early marriage among the Malay community, Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The informants for this research were three husband and wife pairs out of six couples where the wife married at an early age in Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency. Data collection methods were carried out through interviews and documentation. The results of this research illustrate: 1) The impact of early marriage on parenting patterns for young children among the Malay tribe, Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency, resulting in difficulties for parents in parenting, such as dealing with children who are difficult to manage, panicking when the child is sick, Difficulty controlling emotions when angry and so on. This is due to parents' lack of knowledge about parenting and parents' emotional immaturity, which has an impact on child care. The parenting patterns applied by parents who marry early in early childhood care seem to vary, some use a permissive pattern, some are authoritarian and some are democratic. A wife who marries early can carry out parenting in a democratic direction if it is supported by the husband's maturity and educational level which is capable of educating his wife. 2) The factors that cause early marriage in the Malay tribe in Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency are 4 factors, namely economic, socio-cultural, educational, and promiscuity factors.Keyword. Abstract

Al-Qur’an yang merupakan pedoman utama ajaran Islam banyak berbicara dan membahas mengenai persoalan penting kependidikan. Banyak sekali konsep, prinsip, pendekatan, strategi, metode, materi dan tema-tema agung pendidikan yang dikandung dan dibentangkan dalam sumber pokok tersebut, diantaranya kisah al-Qur’an. Kisah al-Qur’an bila mampu dikaji dan didayagunakan secara profesional akan mampu memberi  nuansa yang amat dalam, nilai-nilai yang amat tinggi dan dahsyat terhadap kemajuan proses pendidikan, sebab mengandung ibrah dan  i’tibar, serta dapat membentuk akhlak dan kepribadian anak usia dini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis secara cermat tentang pendayagunaan kisah al-Qur’an sebagai pembentuk akhlak anak di dalam proses pendidikan anak usia dini tersebut. Data diambil melalui studi kepustakaan, kajian buku atau literatur dan instrumen dokumentasi, sedangkan jenis penelitian memanfaatkan tipe atau jenis penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendayagunaan kisah al-Qur’an baik sebagai metode maupun sebagai materi (konten) sangatlah pentingnya dan memiliki urgensi dapat membentuk akhlak mulia anak usia dini itu sendiri

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Keterampilan pemecahan masalah sangat penting bagi anak usia dini. Anak usia dini dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah optimal pada masa prasekolah menunjukkan capaian akademik lebih baik di pendidikan dasar dan menengah. Namun, masih banyak anak usia dini memiliki keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang rendah. Rendahnya keterampilan pemecahan masalah anak usia dini, terlihat dari ketergantungan tinggi terhadap bantuan guru, kesulitan mengidentifikasi masalah sederhana, serta terbatasnya inisiatif mencari solusi alternatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi penggunaan metode eksperimen untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah anak usia dini melalui analisis proses kognitif selama kegiatan eksperimen serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas metode tersebut. Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif yang melibatkan 15 anak usia 4-6 tahun, 3 guru kelas, dan 5 orang tua selama delapan minggu. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, serta analisis dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan peningkatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah anak usia dini melalui tiga tahapan: (1) tahap awal ditandai ketergantungan pada bantuan guru, (2) tahap perkembangan memperlihatkan kemampuan mengajukan pertanyaan spesifik dan mencoba solusi mandiri, (3) tahap akhir menunjukkan penerapan pendekatan sistematis saat menyelesaikan masalah. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator melalui teknik scaffolding terstruktur serta program "Eksperimen di Rumah" yang melibatkan orang tua berhasil mendukung perkembangan keterampilan pemecahan masalah pada aspek kognitif, sosial, dan praktis. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan mencakup dukungan orang tua dan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif.Kata Kunci: Metode Eksperimen, Pemecahan Masalah, Pendidikan Anak Usia DiniABSTRACT. Problem-solving skills are essential competencies for early childhood. Research shows that early childhood students with optimal problem-solving abilities during preschool demonstrate better academic achievement in primary and secondary education. However, many early childhood students still possess low problem-solving skills. This deficiency manifests through high dependency on teacher assistance, difficulty identifying simple problems, and limited initiative in seeking alternative solutions. This study aims to explore the use of experimental methods to enhance early childhood problem-solving skills by analyzing cognitive processes during experimental activities and identifying factors affecting the method's effectiveness. This descriptive qualitative research involved 15 children aged 4-6 years, 3 classroom teachers, and 5 parents over eight weeks. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis. The results revealed improvements in early childhood problem-solving skills through three stages: (1) initial stage marked by dependence on teacher assistance, (2) developmental stage showing ability to ask specific questions and attempt independent solutions, (3) final stage demonstrating systematic approach application in problem-solving. The teacher's role as facilitator through structured scaffolding techniques and the "Experiments at Home" program involving parents successfully supported problem-solving skill development across cognitive, social, and practical aspects. Abstract

ABSTRACT. The background to this research problem is that mentally retarded students have intellectual limitations or are often referred to as Down syndrome. So mentally retarded students need help from people in fostering the psychomotor domain. And an effort is needed to overcome the problem through the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering the psychomotor domain of mentally retarded students at the Padangsidimpuan State Special School (SLB), Padangsidimpuan Utara District. The fokus of this research is the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering the psychomotor domain of mentally retarded students. This research methodology is a qualitative approach by describing the phenomena of a situasion that actually accurs in the field. The source of this research is from the results of observations and interviews from parties directly related to this research. The results of the study show the creativity that Islamic Religious Education teachers carry out in fostering the psychomotor domain of mentally retarded students using total communication, presenting visual media or images, and practicing the material being taught, and holding routine religious activities. The inhibiting factors that affect Islamic Religious Education teachers in the teaching and learning process are the difficulty in delivering material, due to limitations of mentally retarded students, delays in students' language development, lack of attention from parents, lack of learning media provided by the school, and minimal government attention to the development of mentally retarded students' education. Keyword: Teacher Creativity, Islamic Religious Education, Psychomotor Domain and Mental Mental Disability.

Abstract

This research aims to outline the strategies of teachers at Rumahku Tinggi Kindergarten in facing the Era 5.0. Era 5.0 is marked by teacher abilities which include the 4c's, namely creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration. In theory, one of the efforts to face the challenges of the 5.0 revolution is that teachers need to carry out self-management, social aspects of human and machine relations, practical innovation of smart learning, and skills upgrading. This research uses qualitative research methods, with the population and research sample covering all activities in the school as well as the principal, curriculum area and class teachers as the research sample. Data collection uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. Research analysis goes through several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The research results show that first the teachers carry out self-management from the beginning of learning to the end of the activity. Second, adaptability carried out by teachers is skill upgrading, which is carried out by further study, attending various types of training that supports improving the quality of training and conducting regular evaluations or work meetings. Third, namely practical innovation of smart learning. Teachers carry out practical innovation of smart learning in the form of applying the read aloud method to reading activities with children. The fourth adaptability is social aspects of human and machine relations. This form of adaptability cannot yet be implemented optimally due to limited technological facilities.Keyword : Competencies, Teachers, Challenges, Era 5.0.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan strategi guru-guru di TK Rumahku Tinggi dalam menghadapi Era 5.0. Secara teori, salah satu upaya untuk menghadapi tantangan revolusi 5.0 adalah guru perlu melakukan manajemen diri, aspek sosial hubungan manusia dan mesin, inovasi praktis pembelajaran cerdas, dan peningkatan keterampilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan populasi dan sampel penelitian meliputi seluruh kegiatan di sekolah serta kepala sekolah, bidang kurikulum dan guru kelas sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis penelitian melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, tampilan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama-tama guru melakukan manajemen diri dari awal pembelajaran hingga akhir kegiatan. Kedua, kemampuan beradaptasi yang dilakukan guru adalah peningkatan keterampilan, yang dilakukan dengan studi lanjut, mengikuti berbagai jenis pelatihan yang mendukung peningkatan kualitas pelatihan dan melakukan evaluasi atau rapat kerja secara berkala. Ketiga, yaitu inovasi praktis smart learning. Guru melakukan inovasi praktis smart learning berupa penerapan metode read aloud pada kegiatan membaca bersama anak. Kemampuan beradaptasi keempat adalah aspek sosial dari hubungan manusia dan mesin. Bentuk kemampuan beradaptasi ini belum dapat diimplementasikan secara optimal karena keterbatasan fasilitas teknologi.
