<![CDATA[Jadwal shalat disusun berdasarkan data matahari, baik pada saat yang bersangkutan (jam, hari bulan dan tahun) maupun data rata-rata. Ketepatan penentuan waktu shalat, disamping tergantung pada sistem/ rumus-rumus yang dipergunakan juga tergantung kepada ketepatan pengambilan data seperti data Matahari maupun data lain yang dibutuhkan dalam perhitungan. Ada beberapa instrumen astronomi yang dapat digunakan dalam pengambilan data Matahari maupun penentuan waktu shalat salah satunya yaitu instrumena astronomi yang bernama Astrolabe. Astrolabe merupakan alat yang jarang diketahui dan memilki banyak fungsi dalam kehidupan maupun ibadah umat Islam, sehingga pembelajaran terkait instrumen astronomi khususnya Astrolabe harus terus dikembangkan. Ada tiga tahap metode pelaksanaan yang telah dirancang dalam pengabdian kali ini yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi program. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian di SMA Sains & Tahfidz Al-Ammar maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa peserta didik memahami akan pentingnya instrumen Astrolabe dan dapat menggunakan alat Astrolabe khususnya dalam perhitungan waktu shalat, selain itu para peserta didik juga terdorong untuk meningkatkan pemahaman maupun penggunaan Astrolabe pada materi-materi yang lain sehingga dapat bermanfaat bagi kehidupan, agama, bangsa dan negara.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Manggar Raya Village is one of the villages located in Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. Manggar Raya village is one of the largest coconut producers. Still, the community only uses fruit flesh and coconut water to sell, while the coconut fiber is left as waste by the village community. Collaborative Service Activities with independent real-life college students aim to assist in the manual processing of coconut coir waste into cocofiber and cocopeat. Methods: Participants in the activity consisted of 21 residents of Manggar Raya Village. The participatory method used in community service assistance which includes the provision of material, practice, discussion and evaluation. Result: Positive response from activity participants. Participants were satisfied with the activities and learned about the waste management provided. Conclusion: Assistance in processing coconut fiber to the community can increase knowledge by 85% about how to process coconut fiber into cocofiber and cocopeat. In addition, participants gained the skills to make decorative pots from coconut fibers to increase the selling value of cocofiber. In the future, it is hoped that the people of Manggar Raya village can become the center of the coconut fiber processing industry in South Sumatra.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: The development of websites in various fields is increasing. One of the reasons is that it can facilitate access to the information needed without any limitations of space and time, and there is the ease in its management. This training is expected to increase the mastery and ability of students in building a website by using a framework, especially CodeIgniter. STMIK YMI Tegal is one of the partners who work together on this training with 62 (sixty-two) participants. This training is carried out by providing materials and demonstrations to participants in using the website using the CodeIgniter framework with the support of online media in the form of zoom, youtube, and google drive links. The training results carried out can be seen from the level of student acceptance of the material provided. This training received feedback, including the material presented by the resource persons, received a very good response with a score of 62.9%, and the suitability of the material to the needs of students received a very good response with a value of 53.2%. The sustainability of this activity is expected to have advanced training. Based on the results of this training, this training can provide benefits and mastery of participants in building a website, especially using the codeigniter framework currently needed by the industrial world.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Mathematics Teachers who are members of MGMP (Teacher's Deliberation of Subjects) Mathematics at the Junior High School level of Pangkep Regency face problems in writing classroom action research (PTK), processing and analyzing data from PTK research results using software, as well as the publication of PTK scientific articles in the Open Journal System (OJS). The purpose to improve (1) the teacher's knowledge of the way of writing classroom action research (PTK); (2) the teacher's knowledge of software R statistical applications; (3) teacher knowledge of the Open Journal System (OJS). Method: Learning Model Technology, Pedagogy, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) consists of 4 steps: understanding (P), observation-instruction (O), instruction exercises (L), reflection (R). Training Partner is MGMP Mathematics junior high school pangkep which amounted to 12 people. Instruments of devotion in the form of: tests of classroom action research knowledge; test of software knowledge R; Open Journal System (OJS) knowledge test. Results: (1) increased teacher knowledge of how to write class actions; (2) increased teacher knowledge about processing classroom action research data with Software R; (3) Increased teacher knowledge about the publication of scientific articles of classroom action research in the Open Journal System (OJS). Conclusion: OJS Technology-Based PTK Training and The Use of Software R can overcome teacher difficulties in writing PTK, processing and analyzing PTK research data, as well as the publication of PTK scientific articles in the Open Journal System (OJS).]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Indonesia was one of the countries hardest hit by the Covid pandemic. Low-income families in Bukek Village, Tlanakan Sub-District cannot afford to buy disinfectant. Provide an understanding of the importance of preventing the transmission of Covid-19 and provide skills to make disinfectants using materials commonly used in households, such as floor cleaners, clothes bleach and water. Method: The implementation method goes through three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the observation stage. The preparation stage includes observation, and coordination with the village. The implementation stage includes socialization activities and spraying of disinfectants, while the evaluation stage is carried out through the provision of questionnaires. Result: The community knows the ingredients used to make disinfectant liquid. The community is also able to make disinfectants independently. As well as several points or crowded locations spraying disinfectant has been carried out. Conclusion: The socialization activities and the spraying of disinfectants went very smoothly because of the support from both the village apparatus and the surrounding community. The impact of the implementation of the activities is also very felt for the community, this can be seen from the results of the questionnaire which showed a positive response from the respondents' answers.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: “Nabil Collection” are SMEs affected by restrictions on activities outside the home. SME “Nabil Collection” has been selling its shirt products conventionally so that when there is a policy of limiting activities outside the home, the sales of their products decrease. This literacy is carried out so that the SME “Nabil Collection” has the ability to do product packaging, the importance of trademarks and choose the right marketing media according to the product market target. Method: Literacy for SME owners “Nabil Collection” by providing modules on the marketing aspects of shirt products. Result: increased knowledge of “Nabil Collection” SME owners about product packaging, trademarks and online marketing media with social media. Conclusions: This literacy aspect of marketing increases the knowledge of “Nabil Collection” SME owners knowing more creative product packaging, realizing the importance of trademarks, more competitive shirt product prices and trying alternative social media-based marketing media to increase product sales during the time of restrictions on activities outside the home.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Citation cannot be separated from scientific work. The initial survey results show that most teachers who are members of the Arabic Subject Teacher Consultation in Banten still do not understand how to write good scientific papers, including how to cite and create a bibliography or reference automatically. Mendeley is a citation management application that is free or open-source, user-friendly, has an attractive appearance, and can be used on online and offline devices. For this reason, community service activities and collaborations for teachers at Banten need to be held so that teachers can receive training in using Mendeley to manage scientific documents. Methods: Partner participation is carried out with a training program within one day. The technique used is workshop, mentoring and evaluation. Workshop activities to introduce applications, benefits and how Mendeley works, then video tutorials on installation on laptop devices are given. Results: This service activity resulted in 1) 90% of teachers getting additional knowledge and insight regarding the use of the Mendeley application as a digital reference management system for writing scientific papers, 2) providing training to teachers on the technical use of the Mendeley application as a digital reference management system for writing works scientifically. Conclusion: Through this training, 90% of teachers at the Banten can use the Mendeley application to support scientific article writing and encourage the productivity of each teacher to write scientific articles.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Dangdeur village has abundant red lemongrass resources but is only used as kitchen materials by the community. Utilization of red lemongrass through the development of solid soap products aims to apply science and technology to the PKK group Dangdeur village in an effort to improve health during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is because red lemongrass contains alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, and saponins that are beneficial as antibacterial. Method: This activity was attended by 25 PKK members on the first day and 30 PKK members on the second day with the stage of activities that began with counseling activities to improve public understanding in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Activities continued by processing red lemongrass into essential oils through a simple distillation process as an active ingredient in the development of solid soap products. And ended with the process of processing solid soap based on red lemongrass essential oil and the process of packaging soap to be interesting. The activity is closed by providing an evaluation of the process and the results of the service through the provision of questionnaires to partners. Results: People's understanding and skills in processing red lemongrass into essential oils, tools and materials and the process of making solid soap increased by 16.3%. Conclusion: The implementation of this community activity can help the community in utilizing herbal plants efficacious in the field of health as an effort to improve public health during the Covid-19 pandemic.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: The impact of the Pandemic, which is very pronounced in the tourism sector, requires the government, actors and scholars to be able to adapt and plan tourism development in accordance with current conditions. The tourist village is the possible alternative for tourism; considering that the mobilization of tourists is still local-oriented, the community's involvement in this tour is very high. The government and village communities are required to be able to formulate strategic plans in developing village tourism; given the limited resources they have, the role of academics is needed to assist and facilitate the preparation of projects until they arrive at implementation. Method: This community service approach in the Towale Tourism Village uses a mentoring and facilitation system in planning the development of the Towale Tourism Village. Result: The results of village planning assistance and facilitation focus on increasing tourist attraction and developing village tourism businesses as economic added value for the community. Conclusion: Potential tourist attractions in Towale Village are Karampuana Beach, Traditional Woven Fabric, Auliya Old Mosque, Bulava Pongeo and ontel bike community.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: Distance learning has been a major source of learning since the covid-19 pandemic hit the world. Unfortunately, more research shows that distance learning faces many obstacles, so learning goals are not achieved. This community service aims to assist English teachers in implementing IT-based English learning applications, namely Chatbot and Smart Rector. The teachers chosen as partners are teachers of Lamongan State MTs 2. Method: The implementation of this devotion follows the steps, that is; conduct preliminary research, conduct needs analysis, hold seminars, hold workshops, and then conduct monitoring and evaluation. Results: Teachers understand and master the concept and application of e-learning methods by using mobile devices such as smart phones, tablets, and laptops. Conclusion: The knowledge of English teachers at MTS Negeri 2 Lamongan has significantly improved in terms of application knowledge and e-learning methods using mobile devices.]]>
