Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of women's income on poverty reduction. Using a panel dataset of 32 provinces in Indonesia with time series data for the period of 2010-2018, the analysis model used is the fixed-effect method of the panel regression and the Panel Granger causality test. The study points out that women's income has a significant effect on poverty reduction. The greater women's income, the lower the poverty rates. Panel Granger causality test indicates that there is a bidirectional between women's income and poverty rate. The poverty causes women's income, and women's income also causes poverty rates. Therefore, local governments in Indonesia should formulate regional development policies that oriented towards increasing women's involvement in productive economic activities. The policy is not only able to improve the welfare of women, but also contribute positively to reducing poverty rates

Abstract

Pontianak State Polytechnic (Polnep)  is one of the higher vocational Institution in West Kalimantan. One of Polnep’s objective is to carry out various fields of vocational education in order to generate quality alumni. Achieving this objective requires hardwork and lecturer play a significant role. Since they play a significant role, the lecturer’s perfomance should be taken care of. There are 241 lecturer dan 140 of them have additional work in other unit besides teaching. Based on early observation, They are called Lecturer with additional work, which means they have to spare their time in campus not only for teaching buat also doing some additional work, so sometimes they tend to leave class. Based on early observation, they do the replacement class, late in submitted exam paper dan students grades. They also tend to give more assignment to students. This research purpose is to examine empirically the effect of Polnep lecturer’s workload to performance, and the effect of work stress to performance and the effect of workload to work stress. The research method is survey by using questionnaire as data collecting method. Samples were choosen with non probability sampling method, specifically purposive sampling. Based on first hypothesis testing, there is no proof about the effect of Polnep lecturer’s workload to performance which marked by sig. value 0.740. The same result happen to second hypothesis testing, there is no proof about the effect of Polnep lecturer’s work stress to performance which marked by sig. value 0.179.  The third hypothesis testing proves the effect of workload to work stress. This resultmarked by sig. value of 0.000.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas PMW, minat berwirausaha mahasiswa, dan besarnya pengaruh efektivitas PMW terhadap minat berwirausaha pada Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik probability sampling, yaitu Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara dan studi literatur.  Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Polbeng yang masih aktif yang berjumlah 1.825 mahasiswa sehingga mendapatkan sampel 100 responden. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas PMW Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis dinyatakan telah berhasil meningkatkan softskill mahasiswa, adanya keterlibatan dalam kegiatan bisnis, dan menumbuhkan jiwa bisnis. Sedangkan minat berwirausaha mendapatkan persepsi sangat tinggi sebesar 4.64 adalah yaitu bangga jika dengan berwirausaha dapat menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan. Besarnya pengaruh variabel efektivitas PMW terhadap variabel minat berwirausaha mahasiswa adalah sebesar 27,8%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 72,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dapat dijelaskan pada penelitian ini.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of perceptions and beliefs on the interests of patient visits at Pematangsiantar Vita Medistra Clinic. Data analysis techniques used by the authors in this study are as follows in the form of quantitative descriptive analysis, Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Test, Coefficient of determination. The object of research at the Vita Medistra Clinic which is located at Jalan Pattimura No. 11 / C Team SBC complex. City 21131, Tomuan Village, Siantar Timur District, Pematangsiantar City, North Sumatra 21139. The results of the study can be concluded as follows: The results of multiple regression repercussions and perceptions have a positive effect on the interest in patient re-visits. Hypothesis test results F-test perception and trust significantly influence the interest in return visits. The results of the t-test perception have a significant effect on interest in the visit, and trust significantly influence the interest of the patient's visit in Pematangsiantar Vita Medistra Clinic. he results of the coefficient of determination of 0.604 means The high or low interest of return visits to the Vita Medistra Clinic by 60.4% can be explained by perception and trust. The company must be a customer perception and trust given by customers about the company to increase interest in repeat visits

Abstract

There are currently eight digital platform partners for conducting online training. The digital platform partner of the Prakerja Card provides 1,338 types of training from business to personal development. Furthermore, there are still five digital platforms that submit proposals to be able to join as partners in the Prakerja Card Program and there are 362 new types of training proposed by partners. With the increasing number of choices for the type of training, the partner anda organizers need to evaluate the factors determining the decision to take part in online training for women who have Prakerja Cards in Banten Province. The research approach used is quantitative. The population of this research is women who have Prakerja Card in Banten Province. The number of respondents in the study was 150 obtained by purposive sampling method. SEM Warp PLS  application is used for statistical data computation. The results revealed that the factors that could influence the decision to participate in training for women who have Prakerja Card in Banten Province were cultural, social, personal, and technological factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of the traditional snack home industry in the traditional snack village in Mlatibaru, Semarang. The research method was qualitative through structured interview data collection techniques. The subjects in this study were policymakers and the number of home industry players in the traditional snack village in Mlatibaru, Semarang. The data validity test includes credibility test (internal validity), source triangulation (checking data from various sources in various ways, at various times), and using reference materials, namely supporters to prove the data that the researcher has found, such as interview data, photos, and recordings. The results show that traditional snack SMEs must prepare several strategies to compete with other business actors. Strengthening competitiveness through HR improvement strategies, product efficiency, marketing, and business bookkeeping.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kualitas layanan, persepsi kemudahan, persepsi manfaat, kepercayaan dan promosi financial technology pada e-wallet OVO dan Gopay terhadap perilaku konsumtif pada generasi millennial. Penelitian dibatasi hanya pada dompet digital OVO dan GOpay saja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 154 respondent yang terdiri dari lima kota besar yaitu Surabaya, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Semarang dan Bandung, dan sampel ini dibatasi hanya pada generasi millennial saja,  sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel convience sampling. Teknik analisis data ini menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS 16 for winsdows. Adapun hasil penelitian ini pada variabel kualitas pelayanan dan kepercayaan tidak terdapat pengaruh pada perilaku konsumtif atau hipotesa pertama dan hipotesa keempat ditolak, sedangkan pada variabel  persepsi kemudahan, persepsi manfaat dan promosi berpengaruh pada perilaku konsumtif atau hipotesa kedua, hipotesa ketiga dan hipotesa kelima diterima.

Abstract

Based on the Environmental Quality Index reported by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, in 2017 the Environmental Quality Index rank of South Sumatra slipped to rank 20 nationally, wherein the previous year was ranked 16. Environmental performance was one of the factors in Environmental Quality Index. Most of the previous research on environmental performance and GHRM was carried out in the manufacturing industry analysis units, while other industrial fields have not been studied much including hospitals. In fact, the hospital is one of the business sectors that is quite related to the environment. This study aims to analyze the effect of GHRM which consists of the variables Green Recruitment and Selection (GRS), Green Training (GTR), and Green Compensation (GCO) partially or jointly on the performance of the hospital environment in Palembang City. The Grand Theory which is used in this research is Ecocentrism Theory and Triple Bottom Line. The population in this study were hospital employees at government hospitals in Palembang, totalling 2,270 people. By using the Slovin formula and the stratified proportional random sampling method, the number of samples who became respondents in this study was 248 people. This research is processed by multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that GRS, GTR, and GCO partially had a significant effect on environmental performance in hospitals in Palembang City. The results also show that GRS, GTR, and GCO together also have a significant effect on environmental performance.
