Abstract

Abstract Basic Mathematics is one of the fundamental courses for students in various study programs. Mastery of this material needs to be supported by the selection of learning models and adjusted to the need for IT-based learning innovations. It is also necessary to develop student creativity, especially mathematical creativity, which is the challenges for graduates in the Industrial Era. For this reason, it is necessary to develop a Basic Mathematics Textbook that is integrated with the Challenge Based on Blended Learning (CB-BL) model to answer all these problems. This study aims to determine the feasibility test of these product. Development research with the 4D model was carried out where one of the stages was the Development, which tested the feasibility of the product through a questionnaire from several experts in mathematics and mathematics education. The results of the feasibility test were analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine the criteria for product development results. The results show that the Basic Mathematics Textbook integrated with the CB-BL model meets the feasibility test with a score of 90.48 (Very Eligible Criteria). Thus the Basic Mathematics Textbook integrated with the CB-BL model can be tested in class. Abstrak Matematika Dasar merupakan salah satu mata kuliah dasar bagi mahasiswa di berbagai program studi. Penguasaan materi tersebut perlu ditunjang dengan pemilihan model pembelajaran serta disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan akan inovasi pembelajaran berbasi IT. Selain itu, perlu pengembangan kreativitas mahasiswa khususnya kreativitas matematika merupakan tantangan bagi lulusan di era revolusi 4.0. Untuk itu perlu dikembangkan Buku Ajar Matematika Dasar yang terintegrasi dengan model Challenge Based on Blended Learning (CB-BL) untuk menjawab semua permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui uji kelayakan dari pengembangan produk buku ajar tersebut. Penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D dilaksanakan dimana salah satu tahapnya adalah pengembangan (Development) yang menguji kelayakan produk melalui angket beberapa ahli bidang pendidikan matematika dan matematika. Hasil uji kelayakan dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk mengetahui kriteria hasil pengembangan produk. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa Buku Ajar Matematika Dasar yang terintegrasi model CB-BL memenuhi uji kelayakan dengan skor 90.48 (kriteria Sangat Layak). Dengan demikian Buku Ajar Matematika Dasar yang terintegrasi model CB-BL dapat diuji coba di kelas. Abstract

Abstract Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is a term that is well known in the world of stocks in Indonesia. One of the company sectors listed on the IDX is manufacturing. The contribution of the manufacturing sector to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was recorded to be the largest compared to other sectors. In this research, the manufacturing companies that will be used as the object of research to predict their stock prices are manufacturing companies listed in LQ45. In stock trading, prices fluctuate up or down. Stock conditions that fluctuate every day make investors who are going to invest in the Manufacturing industry must observe and study the past company data before investing. This data is important for investors to find out what might happen to a company's stock price. Thus, predicting stock prices in the manufacturing industry for the future is needed as a stage in deciding which manufacturing companies are good to investing in. The prediction method in this research uses ARIMA. The results obtained are the stock prices of companies GGRM, HMSP, ICBP, INDF, INTP and UNVR following a downward trend, so that the actions taken by investor in these companies are selling stocks, while for the stock prices of companies ASII, CPIN, INKP, JPFA, SMGR, TKIM, following an upward trend, so that the actions taken by investors in these companies are buying stocks. Keywords: Prediction, ARIMA, Investment BEI merupakan istilah yang terkenal pada dunia saham di Indonesia. Sektor perusahaan yang terdapat di BEI salah satunya adalah manufaktur. Kontribusi sektor manufaktur dalam Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) tercatat yang paling besar dibandingkan sektor lainnya. Di dalam penelitian ini, perusahaan manufaktur yang akan dijadikan objek penelitian untuk diramalkan harga sahamnya yaitu perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di LQ45. Pada perdagangan saham, harga mengalami fluktuasi naik maupun turun. Keadaan saham yang fluktuasi setiap hari menjadikan investor yang akan berinvestasi di industri Manufaktur harus mengamati dan mempelajari data perusahaan dimasa lalu sebelum melakukan investasi. Data tersebut penting bagi investor untuk mengetahui kemungkinan yang terjadi pada harga saham suatu perusahaan. sehingga, meramal harga saham pada industri manufaktur untuk masa yang akan datang sangat dibutuhkan sebagai tahapan dalam memutuskan perusahaan Manufaktur yang baik dalam melakukan investasi. Metode Prediksi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan ARIMA. Hasil yang didapat yaitu harga saham perusahaan GGRM, HMSP, ICBP, INDF, INTP dan UNVR mengikuti tren turun, sehingga langkah yang diambil untuk investor pada perusahaan tersebut adalah menjualnya sedangkan untuk harga saham perusahaan ASII, CPIN, INKP, JPFA, SMGR, TKIM, mengikuti tren naik, sehingga langkah yang diambil untuk investor pada perusahaan tersebut adalah membeli saham. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of the study was to describe students' mathematical creative thinking abilities based on different levels of Habits of Mind (HoM). This research was a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects consisted of one student with a moderate level of HoM and one student with a low level of HoM. Both subjects were in VII grade of junior high school. Data collection was carried out using the HoM questionnaire technique, open ended tests on geometry, and interviews. The results showed that the highest criteria of creative thinking that met by students with moderate levels of HoM were fluency and flexibility, but did not meet the novelty criteria. While students with low levels of HoM do not meet all the criteria of creative thinking. Keywords: creative thinking ability, habits of mind, open ended, geometry

Abstract

Abstract Online learning is currently being implemented in Indonesia because of the impact of Covid-19. This research is to describe the motivation to learn mathematics education students ini online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this research is students in the 6th and 7th semesters of the mathematics education study program at Singaperbangsa Karawang University (UNSIKA) with 32 samples taken randomly. The instrument in this research used data in the form of a questionnaire given online via Google Form and the results of interviews. The data analysis technique in this study was to interpret the presents of each of the 7 indicators of learning motivation according to Uno and to conduct interviews with selected research subjects related to online learning. The result of this research is that the 6th and 7th semesters of mathematics education students of UNSIKA have a high motivation to learn by obtaining a percentage of 88%. This means that even in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic and the implementation of online learning, it does not affect the motivation of students of mathematics education study programs to study actively. Keywords: Motivation to learn, Online Learning, Mathematics Education Abstrak Pembelajaran daring saat ini tengah diberlakukan di Indonesia karena dampak dari Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana motivasi belajar daring mahasiswa pendidikan matematika selama pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 6 dan semester 7 pada program studi pendidikan matematika di Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang (UNSIKA) dengan sampel diambil secara acak berjumlah 32 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data berupa kuesioner atau angket yang diberikan secara online melalui Google Form dan hasil wawancara. Teknik analasis data dalam penelitian ini dengan menginterpretasikan presentse dari setiap 7 indikator motivasi belajar menurut Uno dan dilakukan wawancara kepada subjek penelitian yang terpilih terkait pembelajaran daring. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika UNSIKA semester 6 dan semester 7 dominan memilliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi dengan memperoleh presentase sebesar 87,93%. Ini artinya, meskipun dalam kondisi pandemi Covid-19 dan sedang diberlakukannya pembelajaran daring tidak mempengaruhi motivasi mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika untuk giat dalam belajar. Abstract

Abstract Human life will never be undone from various problems which are required us to solve them precisely and quickly without any mistakes. Mathematics, which is one of the compulsory subjects in school, take an important role in human life as a process of problem-solving learning. The most experiencing problem for students is the lack of ability to solve mathematics problems in terms of stories. Thus, the research aimed to find out how students’ ability level to solve mathematics problems in terms of story based on Polya indicator. The researcher used the qualitative approach method with descriptive analysis. The subjects of the research are 30 students of 9th-grade students at Telagasari 1 Junior High School who were picked randomly. Based on the Polya indicator, the result of data analysis showed that 23, 33% of students were sufficient to understand the problem, 70% of students were capable to plan the problem-solving, 40% of students were adequate to execute the plan of problem-solving, and 20% students were competent to check the entirety of problem-solving. Keyword: Problem Solving, Story Problems¸ Polya Indicator Abstrak Suatu permasalahan selalu datang setiap harinya yang membutuhkan penyelesaian tepat,cepat tanpa ada kesalahan. Matematika sebagai merupakan mata pelajaran wajib disekolah memiliki kedudukan yang penting bagi kehidupan yakni salah satunya sebagai sarana melatih diri dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan. Permasalahan yang sering mengalami hambatan di kalangan peserta didik adalah rendah nya pemahaman peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika bentuk cerita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika bentuk cerita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yakni peserta didik kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Telagasari berjumlah 30 Peserta didik yang diambil secara Randam. Hasil pengolahan data berdasarkan indikator polya, 23,33% peserta didik memahami masalah, 70% peserta didik mampu merencanakan pemecahan masalah, 40% peserta mampu melaksanakan rencana pemecahan masalah, dan 20% peserta didik mampu melihat kembali kelengkapan pemecahan masalah. Kata Kunci: Pemecahan Masalah, Soal Cerita, Indikator Polya.

Abstract

Abstract This study discusses the problem of the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) on students’ mathematics learning outcomes to see the differences in learning outcomes of those who learn and without applying the model of Problem Based Learning (PBL). This research is a quasi-experiment, the nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population is all class VIII students at MTs Madani Alauddin with a sample of class VIIIA (so the experimental class) and also class VIIIB (so the control class). The instrument applied was an essay test which was then analyzed descriptively as well as inferential. The results of the descriptive posttest calculation showed that student learning outcomes with the PBL model were higher than those who did not apply PBL. Inferential statistical analysis shows that there is a fairly strict difference between learning and the PBL model and not. In this study, using the PBL model can help students develop their knowledge and understand mathematical problems related to everyday life.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Learning Model, Problem Based Learning Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas terkait efektifnya model problem based learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan maksud melihat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran PBL dan siswa yang belajar tanpa menggunakan PBL. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis quasi experiment, dengan desain penelitian berupa the nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah semua siswa kelas VIII di MTs Madani Alauddin dengan sampel kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan ialah test bentuk essay yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan juga inferensial. Dari hasil perhitungan posttest secara deskriptif, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dengan mengaplikasikan model PBL lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar yang tidak mengaplikasikan PBL. Analisis statistik inferensial menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang cukup ketat antara pembelajaran dengan mengaplikasikan model PBL dan yang tidak mengaplikasikan PBL. Hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan pengetahuannya serta memahami masalah-masalah matematika yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Abstract

Abstract Representation is the embodiment of a student's idea of a problem, and representation is used to assist students in solving the problem. This research is qualitative research that aims to analyze students' representational abilities in solving problems of two-dimensional figure. The research instrument consisted of test questions with a two-dimensional figure material and interviews. The research subjects were 2 junior high school students in Surabaya City who had different representational abilities. The results showed that students had moderate representational abilities, because they gave rise to 2 indicators of representational ability, namely indicators of verbal and symbolic representation in different ways of conveying, but the two subjects had not yet produced indicators of visual representation. Keywords: Representation ability, junior high school, two-dimensional figure Abstrak Representasi adalah perwujudan ide dari seorang siswa terhadap suatu masalah, dan representasi digunakan untuk membantu siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan representasi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal bangun datar. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari soal tes dengan materi bangun datar dan pedoman wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah 2 siswa SMP Kota Surabaya yang memiliki kemampuan representasi berbeda, subjek AM memenuhi indikator representasi A1, C1 dan subjek MIS memenuhi indikator representasi A1, C1, A2, C2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki kemampuan representasi sedang, karena memunculkan 2 tipe kemampuan representasi yaitu tipe representasi verbal dan simbolik dengan cara penyampaian yang berbeda, namun kedua subjek belum memunculkan tipe representasi visual. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between beliefs about mathematics and mathematics pedagogical content knowledge possessed by mathematics teachers on the ratio material and explanations of prospective teachers' mathematics pedagogic content based on the beliefs about mathematics drawn. This research used by Mixed Method. With a sample of 31 students who took micro teaching courses. from the sample, each subject who has a view on instrumentalist, platonic, and problem-solving mathematics is selected. Data were collected by presenting beliefs, mathematics pedagogical content knowledge tests, and interviews. Statistical data analysis by using rank-spearman correlation test. The results of research showed that there was no relationship between beliefs about mathematics and mathematics pedagogical content knowledge of prospective mathematics teachers. Prospective teachers mathematics who have a view of instrumentalist and problem solving mastered almost all indicators that exist in the component of mathematics pedagogical content knowledge. Meanwhile, prospective teachers mathematics who have a view of platonic have almost not mastered all the indicators that exist in the component of mathematics pedagogical content knowledge.

Abstract

Abstract The results of previous studies showed that the ratio of the differences in the level of quantitative reasoning abilities between male students and female students was quite significant. While the frame of reference refers to a series of mental actions through which individuals can regulate the processes and products of quantitative reasoning. Therefore, there are two main objectives of this study, namely to show whether or not there are differences in quantitative reasoning products using a frame of reference between male and female students, then to describe the process of quantitative reasoning using a frame of reference between male and female students. Using Sequential Mixed Methods, this study examined 58 students of class VIII junior high school. The research was conducted in two phases, namely the quantitative phase which included statistical data analysis using the Mann Withney Test to determine whether there were differences in the product of quantitative reasoning using the frame of reference for male and female students. Then the qualitative phase includes a description of the quantitative reasoning process using a frame of reference for male and female students. The results of the study stated that there were differences in the product of quantitative reasoning between male and female students. This is indicated by the results of statistical tests in the quantitative phase, while the qualitative phase found that male students were able to analyze the formulas that were determined according to the results of their own interpretation of the information provided implicitly or explicitly in the questions compared to female students. Keywords: Quantitative Reasoning, Frame of Reference, Gender Abstrak Hasil penelitian sebelumnya menunjukan rasio perbedaan tingkat kemampuan penalaran kuantitatif antara siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan yang cukup signifikan. Sedang kerangka referensi merujuk pada serangkaian tindakan mental yang melaluinya individu dapat mengatur proses dan produk dari penalaran kuantitatif. Oleh karenanya, ada dua tujuan utama dari penelitian ini, yaitu menunjukkan ada atau tidak-nya perbedaan produk penalaran kuantitatif menggunakan kerangka referensi antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan, selanjutnya mendeskripsikan proses penalaran kuantitatif menggunakan kerangka referensi antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Menggunakan Sequential Mixed Methods penelitian ini mengkaji 58 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP. Penelitian dilakukan dengan dua fase, yaitu fase kuantitatif meliputi analisis data statistik menggunakan uji Mann Withney Test untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan produk penalaran kuantitatif menggunakan kerangka referensi siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. selanjutnya fase kualitatif meliputi, deskripsi proses penalaran kuantitatif menggunakan kerangka referensi siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan ada perbedaan produk penalaran kuantitatif antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji statistik pada fase kuantitatif, sedangkan fase kualitatif menemukan bahwa siswa laki-laki lebih dapat menganalisis rumus/formula yang ditentukan menurut hasil interpretasinya sendiri terhadap informasi yang diberikan secara implisit maupun eksplisit dalam soal disbanding siswa perempuan. Abstract

Abstract Sierpinski’s triangular fractal is a linear fractal that has self-similarity, which is identical until infinite iterations. This research aims to develop the Tumpal geometric ornaments with the implementation of modified Sierpinski’s triangular fractal. There are three algorithms that will be used. First, an algorithm to modify the Sierpinski triangle. The isosceles triangle is divided into nine congruent triangles. Then randomly selected several triangles to be left blank. Do the same way to the triangle that still exists until some iteration. Second, modeling the base frames. Third, fill the basic frame from the second algorithm with the modified Sierpinski's triangular fractal from the first algorithm into a motif. The results are various Tumpal geometric motifs with the implementation of modified Sierpinski’s triangular fractal. Keywords: linear fractal, Sierpinski’s triangular fractal, ornament, Tumpal geometric Abstrak Fraktal segitiga Sierpinski merupakan fraktal linier yang memiliki sifat self-similarity, yaitu identik sampai pada iterasi tak terhingga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan ragam hias geometris Tumpal dengan penerapan modifikasi fraktal segitiga Sierpinski. Ada tiga algoritma yang akan digunakan. Pertama, algoritma yang bertujuan untuk memodifikasi segitiga Sierpinski. Data awal berupa segitiga samakaki yang dibagi menjadi sembilan segitiga kongruen. Kemudian dipilih secara acak beberapa segitiga yang akan dikosongkan. Pada segitiga yang masih berisi dilakukan hal yang sama Kedua, modelisasi bingkai dasar. Ketiga, mengisi bingkai dasar hasil algoritma kedua dengan modifikasi segitiga Sierpinski hasil algoritma pertama sehingga menjadi sebuah motif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah beragam motif geometris Tumpal dengan penerapan modifikasi segitiga Sierpinski. Kata Kunci: fraktal linier, segitiga Sierpinski, ragam hias, geometris Tumpal
