Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject in class XI MAS Azzanjabil. Teachers act as facilitators who guide students to explore the contents of verses and hadiths, then relate them to the values that develop in society. The activities consist of six main components: (1) Constructivism, where students build knowledge through experience. (2) Inquiry, learning through the process of asking questions and discovering. (3) Questioning, where teachers and students actively ask questions to explore knowledge. (4) Learning community, where cooperation among students in groups is created. (5) Modeling, where teachers provide concrete examples of what is being learned. (6) Reflection, where students reflect on the learning process and outcomes. All these methods enable students to actively engage in collaborative and contextual learning. This study used a qualitative analysis research approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers. The results of the study showed significant results. Students experienced an increase in their understanding of the material. Students were able to explain concepts from the Qur'an and Hadith using everyday language, indicating that they not only memorized the material but also understood it deeply. In addition, students were active in group discussions and were able to ask relevant questions. The practical application of this learning method can be seen when students perform the Dhuha prayer at the school mosque, perform the five daily prayers in congregation, respect teachers by greeting them when passing by, and greet teachers, which shows that students are able to apply the knowledge they have acquired in their daily lives. The evaluation results show that the majority of students achieved better scores compared to the previous conventional learning method.

Abstract

Instilling tauhid in young children is the main foundation for shaping a strong Muslim personality. Children in their early years are in a golden phase of spiritual and moral development, so tauhid education is very important to be applied from an early age. This study aims to identify the basic concepts of tauhid suitable for young children, understand its urgency, and explore effective methods in the process of instilling it. A qualitative approach was used, involving literature review and analysis of educational practices in Islamic early childhood education institutions. The results of the study indicate that methods such as storytelling, habit formation, modeling, and educational games based on Islamic values are effective strategies. The early instillation of tauhid plays a significant role in shaping children's spiritual character and strengthening moral values that will carry them into adulthood. However, this study also identified limitations in educational materials suitable for children's developmental stages and a lack of teacher training in conveying tauhid concepts in an applied manner, which pose challenges in its implementation

Abstract

This study examines the Sufi values contained in the story of the meeting of the Prophet Moses and the Prophet Khidr as immortalized in the Qur'an, Surah Al-Kahf, verses 65-82. Through a Sufi hermeneutic approach, this study analyzes the esoteric dimensions of the story, including the concept of fana' fi al-syaikh, etiquette in pursuing the spiritual path, and the transformation of consciousness through surrender to the guidance of a spiritual teacher. The method used is textual analysis with an interpretative-qualitative approach to the text of the Qur'an and classical Sufi interpretations. The results of the study show that this story contains fundamental Sufi values in the form of: (1) the concept of seeking laduni knowledge as knowledge obtained directly from Allah, (2) the importance of adab and tawadhu' in the student-teacher relationship, (3) the meaning of spiritual patience (sabr) in facing inner trials, and (4) the transformation from rational knowledge ('aql) to intuitive knowledge (kashf). These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the Sufi dimension in the Qur'an and its relevance for the development of contemporary Islamic spirituality.

Abstract

In terms of its impact, early marriage in North Musi Rawas Regency often leads to various social problems such as school dropouts, poverty, and early divorce. Girls who marry underage tend to have limited access to education and healthcare and are more vulnerable to domestic violence. North Musi Rawas Regency, particularly Rupit Sub-District, still faces significant challenges in reducing the rate of early marriage. According to data from the local Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A), the rate of underage marriage in this area remains relatively high compared to the national average. The main contributing factors include economic pressure, low levels of education, and strong cultural and customary influences that perceive marriage as a solution to prevent promiscuity and uphold family honor. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. The main focus of this study is the effectiveness of implementing the legal minimum age of marriage in preventing early marriage in Rupit Sub-District, North Musi Rawas Regency. The case study method was chosen to comprehensively explore how the age restriction policy is applied and to what extent it is effective in reducing early marriage. This method also allows the collection of data from various sources, such as in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, to gain a thorough understanding of the phenomenon being studied. The findings indicate that the implementation of the legal minimum age of marriage in Rupit Sub-District still faces complex structural and cultural barriers. Law Number 16 of 2019 is normatively progressive; however, its effectiveness depends heavily on public education, economic empowerment, reform of religious courts, and the active roles of local leaders and religious figures. When the law fails to align with or is even rejected by social realities, its effectiveness becomes merely formalistic. In Rupit Sub-District, Law No. 16 of 2019 functions more as an administrative requirement for filing marriage dispensations than as a substantive tool to prevent early marriage. The implementation of the legal minimum age of marriage as mandated in Law Number 16 of 2019 aims primarily to reduce child marriage rates, strengthen the protection of children's and women's rights, and foster families that are physically, mentally, and socially prepared.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in instilling religious and social care character among third-grade students at SD Negeri Mojosongo III Surakarta. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the teacher implemented most CTL syntax, including constructivism, inquiry, questioning, and learning community. However, reflection and authentic assessment components were not fully applied. Religious character was developed through daily prayers, teacher role modeling, and integration of values such as honesty and responsibility. Social care character was fostered through group work, sharing habits, and simple social activities in class. Supporting factors included a strong school culture, teacher commitment, and parental involvement. Constraints included limited teacher understanding of all CTL syntax, restricted instructional time, and lack of contextual learning media. The study concludes that the CTL model is effective in character development when applied contextually, but its success depends on teacher training, institutional support, and collaboration between school and family.

Abstract

Green finance has gained significant momentum in recent years, but its alignment with Islamic finance principles remains under-explored, particularly in the context of carbon pricing and carbon trading mechanisms. This is illustrated by the fact that climate change has prompted the global community to adopt various strategies, including the development of carbon market mechanisms. Exploring the potential of the carbon market as an effective tool in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, while considering the principles of Islamic finance. This study aims to develop Sharia-based sustainable financial instruments as a strategy to address the impacts of climate change through the utilization of the carbon market.  This research method uses a qualitative approach that combines bibliometric analysis, policy document reviews, and expert interviews. This study identifies critical gaps in the integration of Islamic finance with carbon market mechanisms and the design of sustainable financial instruments that comply with Sharia principles. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-exploratory method. A qualitative approach is used to understand in depth the concepts, phenomena, and characteristics of Islamic financial instruments and how they can be implemented in the carbon market. The findings show that Islamic finance has great untapped potential to mobilize ethical capital and share risks for climate-friendly projects, especially in Muslim-majority countries and emerging economies. Nevertheless, regulatory standardisation, sharia governance frameworks, and investor education remain key challenges that must be addressed to enhance the scalability and credibility of such instruments. By bridging the gap between Islamic finance and carbon economy strategies, this study contributes to the growing discourse on green Islamic finance and offers practical policy recommendations to strengthen the role of Islamic financial institutions in achieving both national and global net-zero targets.
