Abstract

This study aims to investigate how the principal's servant leadership style and contingency factors affect student achievement at SD Daarul Quran Kalibata. The method used was qualitative with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, a number of teachers, and parents, as well as through direct observation in the classroom and school area. To analyze the data, researchers used thematic analysis, which allowed them to find patterns in the interaction between the principal's leadership style, contingency factors, and student learning outcomes. The findings from this study show that the principal's application of servant leadership style, which emphasizes service and attention to the needs of team members, has a positive impact on student motivation and performance. In addition, contingency factors such as support from parents, social environment and students' motivation have a great influence on their academic performance. The study concludes that educational success depends not only on leadership style, but also on external factors that support students' learning process. The suggestion from this study is for principals to continue developing a service-based leadership style as well as improving communication with parents and other supporting factors to boost student achievement at school.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the evolution of productive waqf within the framework of Islamic history, along with the utilization of digital technology to facilitate sustainable financing in contemporary society. By integrating historical Islamic values exemplified by the waqf practices of Umar bin Khattab and Uthman bin Affan, this research assesses the modernization of waqf principles through the application of digital innovations, including blockchain technology and sharia-compliant crowdfunding. The methodology used in this research is qualitative and descriptive, emphasizing a comprehensive literature review of various Islamic historical texts combined with an analysis of advances in digital technology relevant to waqf management. The research findings show that the incorporation of technology into waqf administration, particularly through blockchain and digital platforms, has the potential to improve transparency, efficiency, and community engagement, while ensuring the sustainability and accountability of waqf resources. Nonetheless, challenges such as the digital literacy gap and the lack of standardized sharia regulations pose significant obstacles. This study advocates initiatives aimed at strengthening digital literacy and developing a policy framework that facilitates the implementation of digital waqf in accordance with Sharia principles, thereby maximizing the potential of waqf as an instrument of sustainable economic empowerment.

Abstract

This research discusses the concept of faith from Abdullah Al-Syaukani's perspective in the book Tafsir Fathul Qadir and its relevance to faith education at the Azzahiriya School. This research aims to examine Asy-Syaukani's understanding of faith, which is connected to the practice of religious education in schools. Through analysis of the verses of the Qur'an relating to faith, as well as explanations of the interpretations presented by Asy-Syaukani, this research shows that faith is not only a belief in the heart, but must also be manifested in actions and worship. Apart from that, it is hoped that the application of faith values in education can shape the character of students who are disciplined and responsible. Thus, this research contributes to the development of Islamic religious education that is more effective and relevant to the needs of the times. It is also hoped that it can become a reference for educators and school administrators in integrating faith values in the educational curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to identify key elements in the preparation of research problems, including characteristics, questions, sources, and research problem formulation techniques. This review uses a literature method by analyzing various articles and scientific books relevant to the topic, which are selected through strict inclusion criteria to ensure the quality and relevance of the data. The main findings suggest that a good research problem should have specific characteristics, such as relevance, clarity, and usefulness, which allow the research to contribute significantly in its field of science. The study also reveals that research questions should ideally be directed and testable, thus providing a solid basis for the formulation of research hypotheses and methodologies. In addition, the sources of research problems vary, including from empirical observations, previous literature, and theoretical gaps, which together enrich the context of the research. Effective problem formulation techniques involve an analytical and reflective approach, which takes into account problematic conditions in the literature, such as inconsistencies in findings or the need for a theory update. These findings are expected to be a reference for researchers in selecting and formulating research problems that have an impact and can encourage the quality and relevance of research in various disciplines.

Abstract

Tafsir bi al-ma'tsur is the oldest interpretation that is believed to be accurate and is a pillar as a basis for interpretation for the development of Qur'an interpretation in the future. It is because of this assumption that this study is here to prove the concentration of validity of this historical interpretation. The purpose of this study is to contribute to strengthening the reason for the tafsir bi al-ma'tsur as mashadir al-ashliyyah and explain the credibility of its interpreter. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. The results of this study found that the tafsir bi al-ma'tsur is indeed clear of its validity. The interpretation of the Qur'an with the Qur'an which is the same verse explaining to each other, the interpretation of the Qur'an with the sunnah of the Prophet because he is indeed the Mubayyin of the Qur'an, the interpretation of the Qur'an with the qoul of the companions they sat with the Prophet when the revelation descended, the interpretation of the Qur'an with the aqwal tabi'in whose controversy oversees the interpretation so that it is sourced from the real mashadir al-ashliyyah, and the interpretation of the Qur'an with linguistic rules to dive into the meaning that the Qur'an is aimed at.

Abstract

Interpretation as a result or product of the dialectic between the reasoning of an interpreter and the text, and the context that surrounds it, requires continuous dynamics, interpretation has no stopping point. That is why the product of interpretation needs to be studied. This writing aims to analyze the methods and sources of interpretation used in the book Tafsir al Kasyif by Muhammad Jawwad Mugniyah, especially in surah al Fatihah verses 1-7. The author uses a qualitative method through literature study with various reference sources, both primary and secondary based on books, journals, and others that support this research. The special methods presented by Tafsir al Kasyif include: presenting a special discussion on Isti'adzah and Basmallah; mentioning the name of the surah; writing one surah as a whole; presenting various opinions about where it was revealed; explaining the naming of surah al Fatihah first; Interpreting the Qur'an verse by verse; explaining the rules of language; explaining the meaning and prioritizing the opinion of Ali Zainal Abidin; Explaining vocabulary; explaining the differences in readings (qiraat). Muhammad Jawwad uses a general method: Tahlili, in presenting his tafsir work, along with a special method that tends towards linguistic rules to examine each meaning, and is accompanied by a variety of opinions that prioritize opinions oriented towards the fanaticism of his sect's ideology. If there are differences in readings or qiraat, he presents these differences, but does not explain them in depth and includes strong sources, only as informative.
