Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the form of directive speech acts in the dialogue film "Rembulan Drowning in Your Face" by Tere Liye. This research is a descriptive research. The data source of this research is the dialogue film "Rembulan Drowning in Your Face" by Tere Liye. The research data are oral data that contain directive speech acts which include directive speech acts in dialogue. The data was obtained by referring to the method of engaging in engaging free conversation followed by the record, transcript, and note technique. The results of the study of directive speech acts in dialogue had ten data, namely two data forms of command directive speech acts, two data forms of request directive actions. , two solicitation directive speech acts, two advising directive speech acts, and two prohibitive directive speech acts. In conclusion, directive speech acts in film dialogue are divided into five directive speech acts, namely commands, requests, invitations, advice, and prohibitions Keywords: Directives Speech Acts, Dialogue, Film

Abstract

This research aims to describe the world of women in a collection of short stories Jeramba-jeramba Malam by Mimi La Rose, et al. The research method used is a qualitative description method with content analysis techniques. Data collection is done through documentation techniques. The collected data were analyzed based on the concept of interactive techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, data analysis, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study, the world of women domestically, publicly, as well as a combination of domestic and public. The picture of the world of women publicly gives birth to the image of women who are independent, strong, decisive, brave, ignorant, and ignoring women's honor; domestically, giving birth to the image of a woman who is gentle, patient, loyal, weak / helpless, resigned / accepts the provisions of destiny; while the combination of domestic and public breeds an image of women who are strong, decisive, independent, less responsible, ignorant, unfaithful. From the author's perspective, the author generally describes the world of women domestically. The tendency of women writers to describe the domestic world of women because the authors are still influenced by the traditions and mindset of the community who think women are better at home, as the person in charge of the household, while male authors tend to see the world of women physically and psychologically. Abstract

This study aims to develop lectora learning media in studying the structure and language of folk poetry in seventh grade junior high school students. This study uses the Goll, Gall, and Borg R&D methods. The research data was collected through a questionnaire, unstructured interviews, documentation, and observation. This research data analysis utilizes Likert scale calculation. There are three validators in this research, namely media expert, graphic expert, and education practitioner. In addition, students also responded. A small scale trial was conducted on 7F grade Alizzah Batu junior high school students totaling 25 students. Then the usage test was carried out on 7E and 7G grade students totaling 53 students. From the results of the assessment from the instructional media material experts scored 3.01 or could be categorized as "feasible". Meanwhile, from the learning media graphic expert, the score was 3.53 or categorized as "very feasible". Next assessment given by education practitioners is 3.83 or categorized as "very feasible". Then the product was tested on 25 students. Of the ten questions given about the appearance and content of the media the average value obtained was 3.608 or categorized as "very feasible". After a little improvement was made again the trial use of class VII E and G as many as 53 students obtained an average value of 3.49 or categorized as "very feasible". Conclusion, this learning media is considered appropriate to be used, therefore, this learning media is classified according to the conditions in the classroom. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe a precise, detailed and in-depth understanding of the implicature in the campaign discourse in the 2019 legislative elections. The research method is a descriptive method. The data collection techniques of this research are, (1) collecting political discourse of the Legislative Candidates in print media such as advertisements, billboards, leaflets, banners, posters displayed on the roadside and public places, (2) reading political discourse in the media print such as advertisements, billboards, leaflets, banners, posters as a whole to get a general picture, (3) reread political discourse in print media such as advertisements, billboards, leaflets, banners, posters as well as mark the parts contained implicature, (4) collect the marked part into the data list. Data analysis techniques are (1) the data that has been identified and then classified based on the form of the implicature, (2) describes the data that has been classified, (3) the implicature data that has been described is then analyzed, (4) based on the results of the implicature analysis then provides interpretation, (5) ) draw conclusions of research. Based on the results of research and discussion on the language implicatures in the 2019 legislative election campaign discourse, it can be concluded that the implications in the 2019 legislative election campaign discourse found 36 data that include (1) conventional implications, 19 data found and (2) conversational / nonconventional implications found, 36 implicative data including (1) conventional implications, 19 data and (2) conversational / nonconventional implications; as many as 17 data. The dominant implicature that was found was conventional data as much as 19 data. The implication used by campaigners in attracting the attention of the public to choose them by means of speech is delivered in a certain setting and purpose, the information said tends to be different from what is intended. Abstract

This study aims to deconstruct patriarchal culture by using the film Perempuan Berkalung Sorban, through the binary opposition of patriarchal culture built, by reversing the binary opposition. Film content in the world of pesantrem is very thick with patriarchal cunlture that fences it, and the deconstruction of this culture is done both by the main characters namely Anisa, Khudori (Anisa husband), Anisa’s mother, and some female students who in many ways oppose culture that places women as inferior, weak, and dependent to men. Anisa’s deperate efforts despite having to return to “prison” became never ending struggle because there will still many who opposed what she did. Abstract

This study aims to improve poetry reciting skills using SAVI learning model for fourth grade students of SDN 2 Kejiwan. This action research study uses three research instruments. That is teacher performance, test instruments, and questionnaire instrument data in the form of student responses. In pre-research, the test of reciting poetry got 68.03%. In the first cycle, after applying the SAVI model, there was an increase in the average value of the tests recite poetry is 77.58%, the second cycle being 88.03%. Teacher performance in applying the model for 5 meetings in the first cycle received an average value of 92.74% (very good), the second cycle the value of teacher performance in applying the SAVI model obtained an average of 100% perfect score. The response of students in the first cycle get a good response with a value of 86.92%, and the second cycle the response of students increased to 94.24% with very good criteria. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the SAVI learning model can improve the poetry reciting skills of fourth grade students at SDN 2 Kejiwan. Keywords: SAVI Learning Model, Reciting Poetry

Abstract

This study aims to describe the inheritance of cultural values ​​in Mite Silampari as an oral folklore in Lubuklinggau City. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach, using data in the form of cultural values ​​contained in Mite Silampari which is a folklore of the City of Lubuklinggau which includes the essence of human life (MH); the nature of human work (MK); human relations (MM); the nature of human time (MW); and the nature of human nature (MA). Data on the inheritance of cultural values ​​in Mite Silampari was obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 50 respondents who were analyzed using the percentage formula. From the results of data analysis, it is known that the dominant cultural value in Mite Silampari is the Nature of Human Work (MK) in the form of cultural values ​​Noticing the Kinship System (84%) answered MBD, followed by the form of Honesty cultural values ​​(80%). Next is the cultural value of Relations between Humans in the form of the Cultural Value of Building Friendship (70%). Thus, the inheritance of cultural values ​​in Mite Silampari as oral folklore in the community in Lubuklinggau City is in the Good category (78%) because it is in the range 68 - 83 / Good. In conclusion, the level of value inheritance in the Mite Silampari culture as oral folklore in the community in Lubuklinggau City is classified as good. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying the field trip method on the ability to write descriptive essays of class VIII students of SMP Negeri H Wukirsari. The research design used an experimental approach with a quasi-experimental research type. The results showed that t0 was 5.21, tt (1%) was 2.75 and tt (5%) was 2.04. In conclusion, the application of the field trip method is practical on the ability to write descriptive essays of class VIII students of SMP Negeri H Wukirsari. Abstract

This study aims to 1) Identify the problems and needs of students towards teacher feedback on English Writing Skills at Tomini Bay Middle Schools; 2) Analyze what kind of teacher feedback preferences students want on English Writing Ability at Tomini Bay Area Secondary Schools; 3) Develop students' preferences for teacher feedback on English Writing Ability at Tomini Bay Area Middle School. This study describes the results of student preferences for teacher feedback on the results of English writing in the Tomini Bay area secondary schools based on the results of data in the form of numbers that show the most dominant priority and become the choice of students towards the aspects that are in the feedback of teacher to the students' writing. The results of this study indicate that the results of the analysis of the recapitulation of the dominance of the teacher's feedback category on students 'written English, the students' preferences for teacher feedback emphasize more direct feedback, namely the teacher writes the correct or approaching error correction form and provides a brief explanation of the answer is wrong. This analysis shows that students prefer to have direct feedback because from the score obtained the highest average score is in the type of direct feedback. Abstract

This research aims to find out how teachers try to overcome learning difficulties reading grade 1 students of SDN Sandana, Galang Tolitoli District. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of this study were first grade teachers and first graders. The data collection in this study is using interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the teacher's efforts in overcoming the difficulty of learning to read grade 1 students are providing additional lessons, providing homework and providing motivation to learn to read.
