Abstract

Purpose – This research seeks to thoroughly explore the determinants of user satisfaction in microlearning within the public sector. It employs DeLone and McLean's Information System Success Model (DMISM) as a foundational framework, while also examining the impacts of transformational leadership and system compatibility. Methodology –This quantitative study gathered data via an online survey, achieving 317 responses from participants within Indonesia's public sector through a snowball sampling approach. The analysis of the collected data was conducted using covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) with LISREL 8.8 software. Findings –The results indicate that overall quality, compatibility, and transformational leadership significantly and positively impact user satisfaction, with actual usage serving as a mediating factor. Originality –The study examines both individual and organizational elements to offer fresh perspectives on the primary factors driving user satisfaction in microlearning within the public sector.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aimed to analyze relationship between leader-member exchange, person-organization fit, and perceived organizational support on employee work engagement. Purpose – The aim of this study was the assessment of how co-creation experiences and in-game value creation contribute to increased game loyalty in premium services. Methodology – A total of 326 mobile online gamers in Indonesia who utilized premium services provided survey data for the model analysis. This was carried out using structural equation modeling based on partial least squares (SEM-PLS). Results – The results demonstrated that players' propensity to co-create with gaming firms was significantly influenced by online brand community identification, greater functionality, customization, and self-indulgence. Also, on the basis of co-creation experience, there were significant value realization results. In addition, the results demonstrated a strong correlation between game loyalty, in-game value co-creation, and social experience. Originality – This literature provided valuable insights for improving game loyalty in premium game services through value co-creation experience.

Abstract

Purpose – Waste becomes a major problem when improperly managed. In Indonesia, one solution that is being discussed is to convert the waste to electrical energy. This study is expected to comprehend potential institutionalization engagement among relevant stakeholders to support the Waste to Energy project acceleration. Methodology – In-depth interview was conducted to explore the topic, while qualitative data were coded under institutionalism factors and analyzed using an interpretive method with QDAS – Nvivo. Findings – The results showed policy-making ideas on WtE were primarily influenced by mimetic and coercive institutionalism factors, which had the strongest correlation. This was followed by the correlations between normative and mimetic, as well as normative and coercive. Moreover, the study showed the importance of expanding financing paradigm for WtE projects toward non-budgetary sources, which could accelerate development across the country. Originality – Several studies have explored the potential and development of WtE in Indonesia, but only a few have addressed alternative financing sources and fiscal aspects. The current study explored institutionalism from the perspective of Indonesian stakeholders.

Abstract

Purpose – This research examined the conditions as well as effects of Tokopedia's online video advertising value using UTAUT2 as the main framework. It also examined other factors that impact behavioral intention as well as Tokopedia's mobile application usage. Methodology – An online questionnaire was utilized to gather data from 191 respondents. The target respondents were YouTube users who watched Tokopedia’s online video ads as well as operated the Tokopedia mobile application. The collected data were subsequently examined using Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS. Findings – The results showed that entertainment as well as informativeness positively affected Tokopedia’s advertising value. Furthermore, habit, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, as well as effort expectancy positively affected behavioral intention to utilize the Tokopedia mobile application. Behavioral intention and habit also significantly affected use behavior. Originality – This study integrated the UTAUT with the advertising value model to investigate the influence of Tokopedia’s online video ads on the application usage.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aimed to investigate the effect of behavioral biases on Indonesian investors using fintech platforms. The roles of blue-chip stock, availability, herding, and overconfidence bias, as well as disposition effect on investment decisions, were examined both directly and indirectly through risk perception. Methodology – Data were collected via stributing online surveys to over 360 investors between November 2023 and January 2024. Structural Equation Model analysis method was used to evaluate the data. Results – Availability and blue-chip stock biases positively influence investment decisions and risk perception, while herding bias is insignificant. Overconfidence bias and disposition effect significantly affect risk perception but not investment decisions. Risk perception mediates the significant effects of availability and blue-chip stock biases on investment decisions. Originality – The study explores the unique role of fintech platforms in shaping investment decisions, extending beyond traditional analyses of investor psychology. Prospect theory was applied as a theoretical lens to examine the effect of specific behavioral biases on investment decisions and risk perception within the Indonesian fintech context.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aimed to identify person-organization (P-O) fit, person-job (P-J) fit, job satisfaction, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Methodology – A quantitative method was adopted through an online survey applied to 323 respondents who were healthcare employees in Banten Province. The data obtained was later analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) Amos. Results – The results showed that P-O fit positively correlated with job satisfaction and OCB. Moreover, P-J fit had a positive effect on OCB. Job satisfaction also had a positive effect on OCB. The implication is that managers need to focus on ensuring a connection between organizational values and those held by healthcare professionals to achieve job satisfaction. There is also the need for management to emphasize ensuring the skills and abilities of healthcare professionals are in line with job roles in order to improve job satisfaction. Originality – The novelty of this research was in the simultaneous examination of both P-O fit and P-J fit in order to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the combined influence on OCB and its dimensions. Furthermore, a novel exploration of the underlying psychological mechanisms was introduced based on social exchange theory to explain how perceptions of fit motivated employees to engage in OCB.

Abstract

Purpose – This study analyzes the impact of  TAM (Technology Acceptance Model), social influence, and quality of information on purchase intention with mediation of e-commerce attitude. Methodology– The study procedures were carried out using quantitative method, and data were collected with various instruments, and analyzed applying structural equation modeling technique (PLS-SEM). A total of 349 consumers who were familiar with e-commerce applications were then selected with purposive sampling using non-probability methods. Findings—The perceived usefulness, information quality, and social influence had a significant effect on attitude, while attitude had an impact on purchase intention. In addition, perceived ease of use was reported to have no significant impact. The results also showed that attitude could mediate the relationship between perceived usefulness, information quality, and social influence regarding purchase intention. However, the variable did not mediate the impact of perceived ease of use on purchase intention. Originality – This analysis developed TAM theory by adding new variables, namely social influence and information quality. Since social influence played a role in motivating technology use, information quality was also considered an essential variable in online platforms.
