Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to build a conceptual model of pro-value in exchange network power in bridging product innovation against business performance, which was previously inconsistent.  Methodology – The survey method involved 187 owners and managers of the sector MSMEs in Salatiga, Central Java, Indonesia. The AMOS structural equation modeling software is used to test the proposed hypothesis. Findings – The result showed that pro-value in exchange network power and market entry speed connect product innovation to business performance. The first hypothesis confirmed that product innovation significantly influenced pro-value in exchange network power; the second hypothesis illustrated that pro-value in exchange network power significantly affected market entry speed; the third hypothesis indicated that pro-value in exchange network power had a significant impact on business performance; and the fourth hypothesis confirmed that market entry speed significantly influenced business performance. The fifth hypothesis, which proposed full mediation using exchange network power, was rejected. However, the sixth hypothesis suggested that serial mediation through pro-value in exchange network power and market entry speed was accepted. Originality – Based on the service-dominant logic, pro-value in exchange network power and market entry speed were proposed as alternative way to increase the role of product innovation in business performance of the MSME sector of food and beverage industry.

The population includes 18 insurance firms, from which 10 of those firms were selected through purposive sampling, producing 40 observations. Multiple regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA) through EViews 12 to evaluate both direct and moderating effects. Findings –Liquidity exerts a significant negative effect on profitability, while capital adequacy, board compensation. It revealed that company size significantly moderated the relationship between liquidity and profitability, but it did not moderate the effects of the other financial indicators. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire based on a 4-point Likert scale. Findings – The result shows that relative advantage, compatibility, competitive pressure and external support have a positive, significant impact on Medbiz adoption, while complexity has a negative, significant effect. Conversely, IT readiness, top management support, and business partner pressure show negative, insignificant effects, leading to hypothesis rejection. Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to determine the relationship between green marketing and packaging on purchase intention, with the role of trust as a mediating variable. Methodology – Data were collected through self-administered questionnaires and online surveys, obtaining responses from 150 participants. PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling) method with SmartPLS Version 3.0 was used to develop the research model and evaluate the hypothesis. Results – This research showed that green marketing, packaging, and trust significantly influence purchase intention for beauty products. In the context of this relationship, green trust played an important mediating role. Originality – This research enriched the literature by showing the influence of green marketing on purchase intention through the formation of trust as a key element. Sustainability consumption theory states that consumer trust in the authenticity and consistency of products is an important foundation for driving sustainable green purchase intention.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aimed to examine how Green Organizational Culture (GOC), Green Performance Management (GPM), Green Pay and Reward (GPR), and Green Involvement (GI) relate to Employee Performance (EP), with Organizational Citizenship Behavior for the Environment (OCBE) serving as a mediating variable. The research focused on the export-oriented teak furniture sector in Central Java, Indonesia.  Methodology – The research population consist all employees working in export-focused teak wood furniture companies across Central Java. Using a modified Slovin’s formula with a 6% margin of error and considering field efficiency, 115 employees were selected from a total population of 160. The study applied proportional stratified random sampling to ensure representative coverage of worker groups. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Findings – The results demonstrated that OCBE plays an indirect mediating role, significantly strengthening the positive effects of GOC, GPM, GPR, and GI on EP. OCBE itself had a direct and significantly positive influence on employee performance. In contrast, direct effects revealed that GOC and GPR negatively impacted EP, while the direct influences of GPM and GI were not statistically significant. Originality This study contributes novel insights by focusing on a labor-intensive, natural-resource-dependent industry that remains underexplored in human resource management research. By positioning OCBE as a mediating factor, the study enhances understanding of how environmentally oriented employee behaviors facilitate the translation of sustainable HR practices into improved performance. The variables examined have not been studied within export-oriented teak furniture companies in Central Java, reinforcing the study’s originality and contextual relevance.

Abstract

Purpose – The research aims to determine the role and new findings from the internal and external environments in the value-driven business strategy model on university performance, with the partnership dimension as a mediating variable.  Methodology – The research method uses a causality quantitative approach, with a purposive sampling technique of 125 respondents who are position holders at universities in West Java. The research data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. Findings – The results of the study provide findings that the external environment and internal environment have a significant effect on value-driven business strategy. Partnership does not affect college performance, so value-driven business strategy significantly affects partnership. Value-driven business strategy significantly affects college performance; in the mediation dimension, the partnership does not mediate the relationship between value-driven business strategy and college performance. Value-driven business strategy does not mediate the relationship between the external environment and college performance. Finally, a value-driven business strategy can mediate the relationship between the internal environment and college performance. Originality – This study extends the Value-Driven Business Strategy Theory by adding new variables: the external and internal environments on the performance of higher Education institutions through value-based strategies, and a mediating variable, partnership, that connects value-based strategy to the performance of higher Education institutions. The external and internal environments are among the factors in improving the performance of higher Education institutions, and partnership is considered an important variable in value-based business strategies.
