Abstract

The problem in this reserch originated from the observation to the field researchers who focus on the implementation of the recruitment of athletes PPLM Riau province, especially athletics shot put the number of instrument test is still common for a number in athletics. Based on the needs analysis, the researchers designed a development instrument of shot-put from physical, technical, tactical, and mental aspect. Research and development of the instrument using a qualitative approach and method development research Research & Development (R & D). The subjects in this research were four people who are all athletes PPLM Riau Province in 2016. Validity of test results using the product moment correlation can be described item development instruments, which have very high criteria consists of 4 items (36.36%) are weight, height, push-ups and standing, while 7 other test items have value product moment correlation with high criteria as much as 63.36%. For the results of reliability test r11 = 0.72 This means that the reliability of the instrument development that researchers in the category of sufficient reliability

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of developing BBM3 learning models (Thinking, Planning, Implementing, Monitoring, Evaluating) to improve student metacognition. The research is conduct by survey method in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD), Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP), Jambi University. The research subjects were 115 3rd semester students and 4 PGSD lecturers. The objects studied were curriculum analysis of PGSD FKIP UNJA, students' metacognition abilities, the learning process that has been applied so far especially in improving student metacognition, and lecturers' and students' responses to the development of BBM3 learning models. The research instruments used to obtain data were questionnaires and tests. Data obtained from these instruments were analyzed descriptively. The analysis results obtained are the PGSD FKIP curriculum in UNJA demanding students think about thinking, known as metacognition, not all lecturers invite students to monitor and evaluate learning continuously. The class average of the students' metacognition ability tests was in the poor category with a score of 32.87. The learning process so far has focused on improving teaching skills in elementary schools, activeness, and student character, not all lecturers have explored metacognition abilities, with the category sometimes. Lecturers interested in the BBM3 learning model with the category of strongly agree. The conclusion of this research is the need for the development of BBM3 learning is very high, so this learning model needs to be developed.

Abstract

The background of this study was the low grade V social studies learning outcomes of SDN 161 Pekanbaru with an average of 65.83. Therefore this study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes in class V. Research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were class V.C as many as 30 students consisting of 12 men and 18 women. The results showed that classical completeness in the first cycle was 63.33% which increased in the second cycle by 86.66%. Teacher activities increased at each meeting, namely 70.83%, 79.16%, 83.33%, and 87.5%. Likewise, student activity experienced an increase in each of which was 58.33%, 66.66%, 79.16%, and 87.5%. The average basic score to the first cycle increased by 12.65% and the base score to the second cycle increases by 33.16%. Based on the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model of the type of student facilitator and explaining can improve the learning outcomes of Social Sciences class V at SDN 161 Pekanbaru

Abstract

This research aims to develop an e-module for flat shape geometry using a constructivist approach on the topic of area and perimeter of flat shapes. The method used is research and development (R&D) based on the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques used by researchers were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Feasibility of teaching materials by conducting validity tests and practicality tests. The validity test was carried out by three experts, namely material experts, language experts and media experts. The practicality of teaching materials was obtained through a practicality test carried out with two teachers, three individual students (one-to-one), and ten small group students (small group test). The results obtained from experts show that the teaching materials developed received a validity value with an average percentage of 0.95 (very valid). The teachers and students also gave a positive response to the practicality of the e module, given a score by the teacher, the overall average percentage was 97.5% (very practical), three individual students (one-to-one) obtained an average percentage of 97.5% (very practical). The overall average was 93.89% (very practical), and ten small group students obtained an overall average percentage of 96.33% (very practical). So that the teaching materials produced in the form of flat shape geometry e-modules using a constructivist approach in elementary schools meet valid and practical criteria, so they are suitable for use in the mathematics learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of eleventh grade students at SMK Baramuli Airmadidi through the application of direct instruction model assisted by presentation media on the sense of sight and optical instruments. This research is a type of class action research. The subjects in this study amounted to 20 people. Data collection techniques in this study used test techniques with research instruments in the form of written tests. Data analysis techniques were quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the application of direct instruction model assisted by presentation media was proven to improve the learning outcomes of eleventh grade students at SMK Baramuli Airmadidi on the sense of sight and optical instruments. This can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes starting from the pre-cycle with an average value of 42 with a percentage of 0% completeness categorized as very low, then increasing in cycle I with an average value of 68 with a percentage of 45% completeness categorized as low, and increasing again in cycle II with an average value of 79 with a percentage of 100% completeness categorized as very high. This research is useful to add insight for teachers in terms of using learning strategies and learning media, so as to improve the quality of learning in the classroom.

Abstract

This research is research and development aimed at developing Nearpod-based learning media regarding the planets in the solar system for elementary schools. This research uses a 4D development model, there are define, design, development and dissemination. This research was conducted on sixth grade students at SDN 194 Pekanbaru in the term of 2023/2024. The data collection techniques used were interview sheets, validation and practicality questionnaires. The data analysis technique used were descriptive qualitative analysis which is used to analyze data in the form of suggestions and input provided by expert validators from media suitability validation sheets. The results from the media validity test show that this media is categorized as very valid with a score 89.48%. This media development said to be very valid seen criteria from the product, material and language aspects. After conducting small group trials to see the practicality of the media developed, it can be concluded that this media is very good with a score of 90.5% obtained from teacher and student responses. From the validity and practicality results, it can be concluded that Nearpod-based media regarding the planets in the solar system in elementary schools is declared valid and very practical.

Abstract

Education plays role in shaping students who can preserve Pancasila as Indonesian characteristic. This study identifies challenges and examines the nature of best practices implemented by school through the implement of Kurikulum Merdeka to construct the Pancasila student characters in the 21st-century education era. The research method is qualitative descriptive approach with a research subjects are high school students of SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. The research object is school policies in actualizing Pancasila as Indonesian characteristic. Data collected through by observations and documentations, then analyzed by data reduction, presenting results and drawing conclusion. The study results indicate challenges in the 21st-century education era related to excessive use of technologys and poorlys filtered access to information, leading to disruptions in students learning focus. The efforts made by the school involve constructing the character of students based on Pancasila values through the implement of Kurikulum Merdeka. This process carried out through by P5 activities in school, so students become accustomed. The educational approach applied by school in the 21st-century education era is student oriented, then enabling them to adapt the challenges of changing times. School have made optimaly efforts to implement the construction of Pancasila student characters in this 21st-century education era.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the ability of elementary school teacher education students in working on financial numeracy questions. The research method used was a quantitative survey research method with data collection using a 20-question financial numeracy test method which was distributed to 37 respondents. The questions answered correctly by all respondents were questions number 1, 13, 14 and 15 with the indicator aspect of consumption. This is because financial numeracy questions with consumption indicators are relatively easy to do because they relate to everyday life. Meanwhile, questions 2, 3 and 16 have the highest level of difficulty. This can be seen from the number of respondents who could only answer the questions correctly as 10 people because the questions given required strong concentration and understanding in order to solve the questions well, therefore the right strategy was needed to understand the theory first. Overall, all respondents responded well to the financial numeracy questions to support the learning process, so it can be concluded that prospective elementary school teacher students have a good understanding in writing financial numeracy questions and will later be able to apply this to students as teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of communication and compensation on the performance of lecturers in the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Pamulang University. The quantitative approach is the approach used in this research, with correlational research looking for the influence between independent variables and dependent variables. In this research, the population is all teaching staff or lecturers in the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Pamulang University, totaling 286 people, using a saturated sample. As for the questionnaires that were returned and could be processed, a total of 131 questionnaires were obtained. The research sample included 131 respondents. The instruments used in this research were the communication and compensation questionnaire and the lecturer performance questionnaire. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence of communication variables on the performance of lecturers in the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Pamulang University. This is because lecturers in the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Pamulang University carry out good communication, both with students, colleagues, and superiors. There is a significant influence of compensation variables on the performance of lecturers in the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Pamulang University. This is because Pamulang University provides good and appropriate compensation to lecturers in the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Pamulang University. There is a simultaneous influence of communication and compensation variables on the performance of lecturers in the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Pamulang University. This is due to the balance between the communication used by lecturers in the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Pamulang University and the compensation received by lecturers in the Bachelor of Accounting Study Program at Pamulang University.

Abstract

An encyclopedia book is a book that has thorough information that explains concepts and displays important images that are organized systematically and alphabetically. It may be used to exercise critical thinking abilities. The purpose of this study is to describe the validity, practicability, and efficacy of Banua Botanical Garden's encyclopedia of the clusiaceae family. The research development of this encyclopedia uses the Educational Design Research (EDR) research method with Tessmer's formative evaluation design. Expert exam subjects are three lecturers from the Biology Education Study Program at Lambung Mangkurat University, individual test subjects are four Phanerogamae course students, and small group test subjects are four Phanerogamae course students. Details of data are obtained from the instruments of content validity, practicality of content, practicality of expectations, and effectiveness of expectations. The study's findings revealed: 1) the validity of the encyclopedia of valid categories; 2) the practicality of category content and category expectations is extremely excellent; 3) The effectiveness of category expectations is very good for training students' critical thinking skills. The encyclopedia book clusiaceae family of Banua Botanical Garden can be one of the teaching materials that can improve the learning process in the Phanerogamae course because it has attractiveness, is easy to use and effectively trains students' critical thinking skills.
