Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the discipline of learning of high achieving students in SD 13/1 Rengas Condong Muara Bulian. This research was conducted in odd semester 2019/2020. This research is motivated by the existence of students applying disciplinary life in the school environment, students successfully applying discipline such as arriving on time, this study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research, data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation in the form of learning activities in the classroom. Researchers directly conducted interviews with class teachers and students concerned. The results of the study have a strategy in applying the discipline of learning to high achieving students in SD Negeri 13/1 Rengas Condong Muara Bulian.

Abstract

Metakognitif merupakan keyakinan diri peserta didik terhadap kemampuan dan pengaturan diri yang mereka miliki.Keterampilan ini juga berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan pemecahan masalah.Peserta didik yang memiliki metakognitif yang baik, juga memiliki keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang baik pula.Materi stoikiometri merupakan materi kimia yang menuntut peserta didik menggunakan keterampilan pemecahan masalahnya.Peserta didik dengan tipe ekstrovert cenderung lebih mudah dalam melakukan pemecahan masalah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikanketerampilan metakognitif peserta didikekstrovertdalam pemecahan masalah stoikiometri.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif.Data dalam penelitian adalah deskripsi tentang keterampilan metakognitif peserta didik ekstrovertdalam pemecahan masalah stoikiometri.Subjek penelitian adalah 2 orang peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Kota Jambi.Teknik penggumpulan data yaitu tes dan wawancara yang mendalam.Penelitian menunjukkan hasil tes peserta didik berbeda.Peserta didik ekstrovertt, tidak sama keterampilan metakognitifnya. Peserta didik terampil dalam pemecahan masalah, mampu memahami masalah, memiliki strategi yang baik, dan mampu memeriksa pekerjaannya.Hal ini dibuktikan dengan wawancara, mereka menyatakan mengetahui kemampuan yang dimiliki dan melihat kembali hasil pekerjaan mereka.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of critical thinking skills with the problem-based learning model in IPAS learning for fourth grade elementary school students. This research was conducted at SDN 64/I Muara Bulian, Muara Bulian sub-district, Batanghari district, Jambi province. The form of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a qualitative approach. The research data was obtained by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection in this study was carried out through interviews, observation through observation sheets of students’ critical thinking skills, observation sheets of educator activities carrying out learning activities, and documentation. The results of this study were an increase in critical thinking skills in fourth grade students at SDN 64/I Muara Bulian after applying the problem-based learning model at each meeting in each cycle

Abstract

The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research. This research aims to describe the application of the Outdoor Learning Method in increasing student creativity with the help of environmental media around the school in class IV elementary school at SDN 165/I Singkawang. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the results show that the application of the Outdoor Learning method in increasing student learning creativity in science subjects for class IV students at SDN 165/I Singkawang has been implemented well. Implementation of the Outdoor Learning method makes fourth grade students more active and increases courage. Students explore their own knowledge by observing and asking friends and teachers. The completion or follow-up stage of implementing Outdoor Learning is in the form of evaluation and understanding of the material they have studied. As a follow-up to the implementation of Outdoor Learning, they held group discussions and presented them in front of the class. The results of this research were that the first cycle of the first meeting was 45.86% in the "Less Creative" category, the first cycle of the second meeting was 57.75% in the "Less Creative" category with an increase of 11.87%. In cycle II, the first meeting was 65.17% in the "Quite Creative" category with an increase of 7.42% and the second meeting was 71.20%, an increase of 6.03%. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the Outdoor Learning method assisted by environmental media around the school can increase the creativity of class IV students at SDN 165/I Singkawang. This is proven by the increase in each indicator of creativity in each meeting cycle.

Abstract

The research describes implementing the cooperative learning model of make a match type, aided by pop-up book media, to boost fourth-grade students' motivation in elementary school mathematics. Conducted as Classroom Action Research, data collection involved observation, interviews, and documentary studies at SD Negeri 003/IX Senaung. Results showed improvement across cycles: in the first cycle, meeting I, 58.3% was categorized as "low," while meeting II was 61.8% "medium"; in the second cycle, meeting I, it rose to 69.8% "high," and meeting II reached 72.1% "high." The study concludes that implementing the Make A Match model with Pop Up Book media aids in enhancing students' motivation in mathematics, aligning with research outcomes.

Abstract

Learning that is carried out in class should be student-centered learning. One of the ways of student-centered learning is small group discussions. Developing technology also contributes to the development of the world of education. Learning using the small group discussion method can be presented online using Zoom Meeting. This application provides the Breakout Rooms feature, allowing users to create separate additional rooms in one meeting session. Therefore, this study aims to determine how students respond to using Breakout Rooms at Zoom Meetings. The research was carried out at the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, Jambi University, in the even semester of 2023. This research was conducted on 34 semester four students. Research subjects were selected using a cluster random sampling technique. This research is descriptive. Data was collected using a questionnaire given to students via Google Forms. The data were analyzed by calculating the percentage of each statement on aspects of student response. The results of student responses are that Breakout Rooms are easy to use, helpful in supporting the learning process, making learning fun, and making discussions more focused and productive.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi literasi baca tulis dan literasi sains di Sekolah Dasar 96/I Ladang Peris. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Data penelitian berupa deskripsi mengenai implementasi pelaksanaan gerakan literasi  baca tulis dan literasi sains di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar 96/I Ladang Peris. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas VI Sekolah Dasar 96/I Ladang Peris. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan gerakan literasi baca tulis dan sains berada pada tahapan pengembangan. Upaya guru dalam mengembangkan literasi sains dan baca tulis adalah: 1) mendorong peserta didik menuliskan cerita dengan bahasanya sendiri, 2) jika pembelajaran tema yang memuat muatan sains selesai guru meminta peserta didik menuliskan rangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran (kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan melalui percobaan) di dalam kertas satu lembar, 3) kegiatan berbagi cerita tentang buku yang dibaca, 4) bermain peran sesuai bacaan, 5) membuat pojok baca untuk peserta didik, 6) memperbaharui buku di pojok baca. Guru mengimplementasikan gerakan literasi baca tulis dan sains yang sangat bervariasi.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilaksanakan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis software pada materi perubahan wujud zat dan energi untuk kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui prosedur, tingkat validitas, dan juga tingkat kepraktisan dari multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis software pada materi perubahan wujud zat dan energi untuk kelas IV sekolah dasar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model Lee dan Owens yang terdiri dari tahap penilaian dan analisis, desain, pengembangan dan implementasi, serta evaluasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya validasi dari ahli media mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 4,9 dengan persentase 98% dan berada pada tingkat sangat valid. Validasi dari ahli materi mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 4,7 dengan persentase 94% dan berada pada tingkat sangat valid. Validasi dari ahli bahasa mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 4,9 dengan persentase 98% dan berada pada tingkat sangat valid. Penilaian Kepraktisan dari respon guru mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 4,8 dengan persentase 96% dan berada pada tingkat sangat praktis. Serta penilaian kepraktisan dri respon peserta didik mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 4,9 dengan persentase 98% dan berada pada tingkat sangat valid.
