Abstract

Abstract. Schools can represent the use of learning methods in developing students' skills. The process of using learning methods requires evaluation to determine the level of achievement of learning objectives. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of using outdoor study in developing spatial intelligence at SMA Angkasa Husein Bandung. This research uses the expose facto, with a quantitative approach. Collecting data using a questionnaire with analytical techniques using linear regression test and correlation coefficient test. The variables in this study are the effectiveness of the outdoor study as the independent variable and spatial intelligence as the dependent variable. The sample in this study was 90 students. The results showed that the effectiveness at the planning stage got a score of 4 out of 5. At the implementation stage it got a score of 10.4 out of 12 and the evaluation score showed 90% achieved progress. The effectiveness of the outdoor study correlates with spatial intelligence with an R count of 0.824, meaning that value of the effectiveness of the outdoor study students' spatial intelligence has a very significant effect of 82.4% which shows that the outdoor study method is effective in developing spatial intelligence. The coefficient of determination Rsquare (R2)is 0.515 or 51.5%. This shows that the effectiveness of the outdoor study contributes to the spatial intelligence of students by 51.5%, the remaining 48.5% is influenced by other factors not mentioned in this study. In conclusion, the effectiveness of the outdoor study can develop students' spatial intelligence effectively in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pembelajaran menggunakan media dan peningkatan motivasi intrinsik belajar siswa melalui indikator kebutuhan berprestasi aspek mandiri dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri aspek inisiatif berbantuan Danger Spin yaitu media berbasis permainan yang melibatkan siswa kelas VI SDN Cibaregbeg Sagaranten Kabupaten Sukabumi yang termasuk kawasan 3T dengan jumlah 22 siswa. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) sebagai pendekatan penelitian dengan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Wawancara, observasi dan penyebaran angket sebagai teknik pengumpulan data yang kemudian dianalisis menggunaan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rata-rata motivasi intrinsik siswa pra siklus memperoleh 57,1 kategori cukup, siklus I 66,2 berkategori baik dan siklus II 84,8 masuk kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut motivasi intrinsik siswa mulai siklus I hingga siklus II memperoleh peningkatan sebesar 18,6 dengan begitu pembelajaran yang dilakukan berbantuan media Danger Spin dapat meningkatkan motivasi intrisik siswa.

Abstract

Petatah-petitih adalah sastra lisan Minangkabau yang di dalamnya terdapat kalimat atau ungkapan yang mengandung makna yang dalam, luas, halus dan terdapat kalimat kiasan atau perumpamaan yang memuat makna atau maksud tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses enkulturasi, mendeskripsikan eksistensi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter, menganalisis faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam proses enkulturasi, dan dampak enkulturasi petatah petitih Minangkabau terhadap karakter generasi muda di kelurahan Sungai Durian, Kota Payakumbuh. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif di mana penelitian dilakukan dengan mengambarkan dan mengungkapkan semua fenomena, gejala, kejadian secara apa adanya dalam bentuk keterangan-keterangan yang terjadi pada tempat yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter dominan yang terkandung dalam petatah petitih tersebut adalah nilai karakter Kreativitas dengan jumlah temuan sebanyak 6 (enam)  dari buah temuan dari total 24 buah petatah petitih yang diteliti. Berikutnya nilai karakter yang ada pada urutan ke-dua adalah nilai disiplin dan peduli sosial yang ditemukan sebanyak masing-masing 5 temuan, nilai Tanggung Jawab dan Kejujuran (4 temuan), nilai Toleransi dan Mandiri (3 temuan), nilai Religious, Ingin Tahu, Cinta Tanah Air, dan Komunikatif (2 temuan), sedangkan nilai Demokratis, Semangat Kebangsaan, menghargai Prestasi, Cinta Damai, Gemar Membaca, dan Peduli Lingkungan hanya ditemukan masing-masing 1 (satu) temuan.

Abstract

Perilaku masyarakat dalam membuang sampah di bantaran Sungai Setail menjadi penyebab terjadinya pencemaran sungai. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis  perilaku masyarakat dalam membuang sampah plastik di bantaran sungai setail dengan harapan masyarakat dapat lebih tanggap dan memahami akan masalah dilingkungan sekitar yang dapat merugikan alam dan manusia karena tindakan pembuangan sampah di bantaran sungai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi yang dilakukan melalui survey dengan metode pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekitar Bantaran Sungai Setail Desa Purwoharjo, dengan sampel penelitian adalah masyarakat Dusun Curahpecak Desa Purwoharjo Kecamatan Purwoharjo yang berjumlah 30 orang. Data penelitian dianalisis untuk mengetahui perilaku masyarakat membuang sampah plastik di bantaran Sungai Setail dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku masyarakat membuang sampah  mulai dari yang tertinggi sampai terendah adalah indicator sikap sebesar 88%, indicator pengetahuan sebesar  68% dan indikator sarana prasarana sebesar 62%. Data penelitian dapat disimpulkan perilaku masyarakat membuang sampah plastik di bantaran sungai setail masih berlangsung karena kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan penyebab yang ditimbulkan dari pembuangan sampah di sungai. Tingginya pengetahuan masyarakat tidak menjadi patokan terkait  kesadaran yang dimiliki masyarakat untuk tidak mencemari sungai.

Abstract

The post-conflict recovery effort in Ambon, Maluku, which was the largest civil conflict after the collapse of the New Order, was not only needed by the survivors of the conflict. But also by the generation that did not experience the bloody conflict. Like students in SMPN 9 Ambon City and SMPN 4 Salahutu Liang Central Maluku who are the next generation of Maluku and of course who will maintain Ambon peace in the future. The purpose of this study is to describe how social science education integrated the value of peace education based on local wisdom pela gandong. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative case study approach. Data collection was carried out by means of literature study, interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results showed, the existence of social conflict material in social science education which was then integrated with Ambon conflict material and peace education based on pela gandong. Thus, students have improved both in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes in understanding conflict and peace education through social science education. At the same time cut off the trauma, mutual suspicion and hatred experienced by students so far.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of environmental care character education through scout extracurricular and the obstacles faced by the coaches in environmental care character education activities through scout extracurricular at SMA Negeri 02 Pontianak City. The method in this research is a qualitative method. Data sources include informants, places/events, and documents. Technical data collection was obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The sampling technique used was snowball sampling and purposive sampling. Data analysis in this study used an interactive model. The results of the research that the character education process is carried out through three stages, namely Moral Knowing, Moral Feeling, and Moral Action and applying the Scouting Method. The obstacles faced by the coaches in environmental care character education activities through scout extracurriculars at SMA Negeri 02 Pontianak City are that the material is a lot moreover with character education but the hours are few, the lack of awareness of the students to implement the character values of caring for the environment. Just touched on the level of recognition of norms or values. Lack of participation of parents and the community in supporting the cultivation of character education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the development of LMS based on Google Sites in Geography subject. The development of this LMS is intended to improve students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) which can be used for online and offline learning. There are two research methods used i.e. ‘development research’ to develop a valid, practical, and effective Google Sites-based LMS and ‘experimental research’ to prove the effectiveness of Google Sites-based LMS in improving students' HOTS. The development model used is the Plomp which consists of three phases i.e. the Initial investigation phase, the Prototype development phase, and the assessment phase. Then a validity test is carried out involving three lecturers as validators, i.e. validation of media expert, material expert, and language and design expert with "Valid" result. To determine the effectiveness of this LMS, an independent samples test of learning outcomes for the control class and the experimental class is conducted. The control class is class XI IPS 2 with 36 students, consisting of 20 male students and 16 female students who do not use LMS and the experimental class is class XI IPS 3 with 36 students, consisting of 20 female students and 16 male students who use LMS based on Google Sites. The results of the research prove that Google Sites-based LMS is "Valid and Practical" so that it can be used in learning Geography to improve students' HOTS. The results of independent samples test prove that the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05 significance value, meaning that there is a difference between the experimental class and the control class. A difference in the average score between both classes means that the students who study using this LMS based on Google Sites have better learning outcomes than the students who don’t.

Abstract

The development of Industry 4.0 in the learning process can support graduate learning outcomes. The lecture system both online and offline as well as blended learning can be carried out properly if it is prepared according to learning needs. The learning process in the geography education study program after the 28 September 2018 natural disaster continued with the covid 19 pandemic and the new normal, so the learning process was carried out online and blended learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using digital teaching materials based on mobile learning in geography education study programs. The research design is Quasi Experimental with the Noneequivalent Control Group Design model. All students of the Indonesian regional geography course were the research subjects with a research sample of 2 classes as the experimental class and the control class. This research was conducted in two stages, namely (1) product development of digital teaching materials based on mobile learning and (2) implementation in the LMS class to determine the effectiveness of digital teaching materials based on mobile learning. The research instruments were in the form of tests and questionnaires. N-Gain analysis technique to measure the effectiveness of product development based on student learning outcomes. The results showed 1) Validation by design and instructional media experts showed an average percentage of 76.89% was in the eligible/usable qualifications and the product development attracted student learning interest with a percentage of 79.37%. The results showed that the average level of students' understanding increased as indicated by the average value of the pretest in the experimental class of 47.62 in the control class of 54.29 and the average post-test in the experimental class of 74.29 in the control class of 72.38. Product development is effective for use with an N-gain score for the experimental class of 0.6 and the control class of 0.4 in the medium category.
