Abstract

This community service activity is an advanced stage for the second year, funded by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Negeri Padang. This activity aims to assist in increasing the knowledge and skills of Nagari Suayan officials in conducting technology-based community satisfaction surveys (SKM) in the form of utilizing SKM kiosk machines and activities to analyze SKM results data. The SKM Kiosk is an SKM survey recording machine that utilizes digital technology. The method in this activity uses training and mentoring, "participatory extension". The results achieved in this activity included the following: Apparatus became skilled and accustomed to using/utilizing SKM Kiosk machines, making it easier for them to record SKM surveys and apparatus were also able to analyze and process SKM results data and were able to interpret data analysis results and be able to provide solutions or breakthroughs (innovations) in realizing services that satisfy the community towards excellent service in the Nagari.

Abstract

Permasalahan tenaga kerja adalah salah satu masalah yang menjadi concern di Indonesia. Salah satu provinsi terbesar di Indonesia yaitu Jawa Timur mempunyai jumlah tenaga kerja sebanyak 3.286.424 sehingga potensi conflict mengenai permasalahan tenaga kerja atau menjadi lebih besar. Ini terbukti dalam 3 tahun terakhir, laporan permasalahan yang masuk di dinas tenaga kerja dan transmigrasi (disnakertrans) provinsi jawa timur masih tinggi. Laporan permasalahan yang dibuat oleh pelapor sering kali dianggap tidak diproses oleh pihak disnakertrans. Namun, pihak disnakertrans sebenarnya sudah memproses laporan yang dibuat akan tetapi tidak ada media yang dapat dilihat oleh pelapor. Dari permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan media yang dapat menampilkan laporan masyarakat dengan status tindak lanjutnya berupa aplikasi pelaporan ketenagakerjaan. Inovasi yang tercipta melalui pertemuan focus group discussion dengan pihak disnaker yaitu membangun sebuah aplikasi berupa layanan pelaporan permasalahan ketenagakerjaan. Hasil aplikasi yang dibangun tidak hanya dapat mengetahui status tindak lanjut yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat akan tetapi masyarakat juga dapat melakukan pelaporan secara mandiri melalui aplikasi. Dengan demikian, aplikasi dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi pelapor dan pihak dinas dalam menyampaikan tindak lanjutnya

Abstract

Community service in the form of domestic liquid waste treatment at Banksa Suci (Cisadane River Garbage Bank) Ciheuni is motivated by domestic wastewater flowing into the Cisadane river and passing through the Banksa Suci Ciheuni park which has been polluted with black waste water showing. The waste water comes from the area around the Banksa Suci Ciheuni park which consists of residential areas, offices and hospitals. Polluted wastewater that flows into the Cisadane river can contaminate the Cisadane river body and its ecosystem. This activity aims to purify the waste sample water so that it is in accordance with the quality standards. This community service is carried out by adding golden snail shell powder to wastewater, with a concentration of 0%, 10% and 20% then stirring and filtering, then analyzed in the laboratory. The results of the analysis show that the golden snail shell is able to reduce the turbidity of the holy banksa wastewater.

Abstract

Majalaya has potential in terms of a creative ecosystem that needs to be developed. From the results of preliminary research that has been done before, this creative ecosystem includes the potential of art-culture, culinary, textiles and history. Related to historical potential, it was also found that in Majalaya there are historical buildings that have a close connection with the culture and history of Majalaya City. This is the background for the Telkom University DKV team to collaborate in carrying out this Community Service activity with Majalaya.id. Majalaya.id itself is an independent news agency with a global-local (glocal) spirit, moving the public to interact in various spaces in Majalaya. On this basis, in this service, the team held a watercolor workshop entitled "Menggambar Majalaya - Workshop & Live Drawing Heritage" which aims to encourage community spirit, especially school children to work while recognizing the historical potential that exists in Majalaya.

Abstract

Kesiman Village is located in the Trawas District of the Mojokerto Regency in East Java. Kesiman Village possesses unrealized natural potential and is currently attempting to become a tourist village. Therefore, the Community Empowerment Program Team at the University of Surabaya (Ubaya) facilitated the idea. The service team provided Kesiman Village with children's play facilities, including a playground with quite comprehensive play equipment, including swings, suspension bridges, slurutans, and mini wall climbing. In addition, as a safety measure, the Ubaya Team provided supporting equipment such as information boards (posters) with Augmented Reality for playing equipment and medical equipment (P3K). The abstract contains. The Ubaya Team held Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (K3L) training for staff and villagers in order to support the provision of safe and comfortable educational tours. The Ubaya Team provided separate bins for organic and non-organic waste as well as plastic bottles in addition to playground equipment. With the conclusion of this program, Kesiman Village is expanding and advancing, thereby increasing the villagers' standard of living.

Abstract

Since the beginning of the 21st century, the development of information technology in the world has continued to develop massively. Hootsuite and We Are Social as of January 2020 as many as 59% of the world's population can already access the Internet. A similar phenomenon occurs also in Indonesia. In the same survey, Hootsuite estimated that the internet is already accessible to 64% of Indonesians, or around 175.4 million people. Meanwhile, a survey conducted by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) in the second quarter of 2020 showed that internet penetration in Indonesia reached 73.7% or was already accessible to 196.71 million Indonesians (APJII, 2020). The high number of digital viewers has an impact on the increasing number of users of digital services and changes in people's lifestyles. In terms of practicality and efficiency, it is the reason for accessing information. But behind all the sophistication that exists in today's digital world, it certainly has a positive and negative impact on humans. Understanding of proficient ethics Digital literacy is needed as a reference in the use of technology that is growing to be more targeted. The purpose of community service activities (PKM) is to increase understanding of the ethics of using information technology through digital literacy skills training for the community based on digital safety aspects. Training to increase understanding and application of digital literacy ethics will allow the younger generation to participate in today's modern world era. The training was carried out in 3 sub-districts in Serang Regency with a total number of training participants of 172 participants with resources sharing, mentoring, and workshop method approach. Activities (PKM) consist of 5 stages, namely 1). Problem Identification Stage; 2). Preparation of PKM programs; 3) Pkm team debriefing; 4) implementation of PKM and 5). Evaluation based on pretest and posttest questionnaires. The results of the evaluation of PKM activities based on the digital security pillar have increased understanding of the ethics of trainees from the aspect of digital security based on 5 indicators.

Abstract

Stunting is a health problem that contributes to child morbidity and mortality. Stunting prevention can be done through nutritional interventions. The high stunting prevalence in Seluma Regency is due to knowledge, culture, socio-economic and others. The purpose of the activity is to improve the children's nutrition and mothers to increase the child's growth and development to prevent stunting through cadres empowerment. The method of activities is the socialization of the first 1000 days of life, cadre training, education of lactations, giving additional nutrition, and cadre assistance. The targets are cadres and mothers. Assessment of knowledge through questionnaires, for the ability of cadres and lactation mothers by direct observation. The results showed an increase in the average knowledge of cadres by 10 points after training, an increase in the knowledge and skills of lactation mothers, exclusive breastfeeding at 57.17%, and good breastfeeding frequency at 85%. Optimizing cadres is useful in promoting nutrition to prevent stunting.

Abstract

Sourced from data obtained at the Sukawati 1 Health Center, the highest dengue hemorrhagic fever case in the working area of the Sukawati 1 Health Center is Guwang Village. In 2020, 64 cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever were found in Guwang Village. This service aims to empower the community to increase motivation to live clean and healthy to play an important role in controlling dengue hemorrhagic fever cases. The method used in this service is counseling and training for PKK mothers in Guwang village with a minimum number of participants of 30 people. The location of this activity is at Banjar Sakih, Guwang Village, which will be held in September 2022. The results of this activity are expected to increase the knowledge and skills of PKK women in using and making ovitrap made from natural ingredients as measured through pretest and posttest. The result of this service is an increase in the knowledge and attitude of PKK mothers in eradicating mosquito nests, using ovitrap made from natural ingredients.

Abstract

This community service aims to help improve the community's food security by utilizing narrow land with hydroponic techniques. The land in the Pakal District, Surabaya City, is included in the narrow land caused by land use change. In addition, this community service provides real knowledge and skills on hydroponic planting procedures. The methods used are observation, discussion, simulation, and project-based mentoring. These simulations and mentoring activities consist of several activities, namely land cleaning, garden making, seedling cultivation, plant maintenance, and hydroponic plant harvesting. The results of the activities show that the program can be well implemented, as seen from the enthusiasm of the community to participate in opening the land and planting hydroponic plants from start to finish. The hydroponic land initially was neglected and poorly maintained. After this program, the previously neglected land was transformed into a beautiful garden, and the hydroponic land can be utilized by the surrounding community to grow vegetables or plants needed for daily life.

Abstract

The skills of using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) by teachers have a significant influence on the teacher's ability to use appropriate learning media, which is a key factor in the success of the teaching process. Therefore, SMP Negeri 1 Mungka Regency has designed learning that is suitable for the situation after the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this service project is to provide knowledge and training to teachers of SMP N 1, Mungka District, Fifty Cities Regency in using Prezi-based technology as a learning medium. The training begins with an explanation of the relationship between media and learning, as well as the role of the media in the learning process in the post-COVID-19 pandemic era. Then, the training materials cover how to create a Prezi account, how to register for Prezi, how to install, and how to use it in learning. The training method involved questions and answers, hands-on practice, and demonstrations, and evaluation was carried out through distribution of questionnaires before and after the training. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed that in general the participants were satisfied with the schedule and time of the training, as well as with the topics presented. Although some participants experienced difficulties due to inadequate internet connection and devices, there were indications that participants had succeeded in increasing their knowledge and motivation in terms of using Prezi technology as a learning medium. In addition, the simple works of the participants were also considered quite good.
