Abstract

Educational assessment is a crucial element in the learning process, especially at the elementary school level, serving as the initial foundation for developing students' character, knowledge, and skills. This study aims to describe the implementation of national educational assessment standards at SDN Nagasari 1 Karawang and identify challenges and efforts made to improve assessment quality. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations and in-depth interviews with teachers and the principal. The results indicate that the school has implemented comprehensive assessments covering aspects of attitudes, knowledge, and skills using various instruments, such as written tests, assignments, observations, and portfolios. However, time constraints and technical constraints in the use of digital applications remain challenges. The principal's support and collaboration between teachers are crucial factors in supporting successful implementation. This study contributes as material for internal school evaluations and as a reference in developing a more effective and adaptive assessment system to meet current demands

Abstract

The development of education is becoming increasingly rapid and complex each year, adapting to the demands of the times. This is largely driven by the expectations of students’ parents regarding the quality and quantity of education. The Graduate Competency Standards (Standar Kompetensi Lulusan or SKL) refer to the qualifications that students must achieve, covering attitudes, knowledge, and skills, which they are expected to attain upon completing a level of education in primary and secondary schools. SKL is often recognized in schools as part of the curriculum. Through observation and interviews with school stakeholders, various factors that support or hinder the achievement of SKL can be identified. These include teacher readiness in developing SKL-based learning, the role of the school curriculum, supporting facilities and infrastructure, as well as the evaluation of student learning outcomes. This observation reveals that SKL is a key element in Indonesia’s education system, aimed at ensuring that each graduate meets the minimum competency standards in terms of attitude, knowledge, and skills. In this study, the author employs a descriptive qualitative approach to describe and analyze the implementation of SKL at SDN Pinayungan 5. The findings indicate that the implementation of SKL in Indonesia faces several challenges, one of the main issues being the inequality in educational resources. Many schools, including SDN Pinayungan 5, lack adequate facilities to support SKL-aligned learning. The author hopes that by improving the quality of education based on SKL, Indonesia can produce a competent, adaptive generation ready to face global challenges

Abstract

Reflective thinking is a crucial foundation of teacher professionalism, particularly in the context of integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning in elementary schools. However, its implementation continues to face structural and conceptual challenges, especially at the levels of policy and classroom practice. This study aims to systematically examine the concept, manifestations, as well as enabling and inhibiting factors of reflective thinking in the professional practice of IPAS teachers. Using a systematic literature review approach, data were analyzed through thematic analysis. The findings indicate that reflective thinking among IPAS teachers is not only oriented toward pedagogical improvement but also serves as an ethical means to realize the Pancasila Student Profile through the Merdeka Curriculum. Four main themes were identified: (1) conceptual foundations of reflection, (2) locally contextualized reflective practice, (3) structural barriers such as administrative burden, and (4) integration of character values into reflection. The results reveal a distinctive Indonesian discourse cluster that synthesizes global theoretical frameworks with local wisdom. This study recommends transforming teacher communities into collaborative reflective spaces and developing context-sensitive instruments to measure teacher reflectivity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berguna untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program pendidikan karakter di SDN Cipete Utara 01 Pagi dalam menghadapi era Society 5.0. Evaluasi ini menggunakan pendekatan evaluatif dengan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) untuk menilai kesesuaian antara tujuan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil program. Data yang dikumpulkan lewat observasi, studi serta dokumentasi, selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil evaluasi ini menunjukkan indikator bahwa pada tahap kontekstual, pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter sudah selaras dengan visi dan misi sekolah yang berorientasi pada penguatan nilai moral dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Dari aspek masukan, sumber daya manusia, sarana prasarana, serta kurikulum cukup mendukung, meskipun masih diperlukan peningkatan kapasitas guru dalam mengintegrasikan nilai karakter dengan pembelajaran berbasis digital. Pada aspek proses, kegiatan pembelajaran karakter telah diterapkan melalui pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam berbagai mata pelajaran, namun pemanfaatan teknologi digital masih terbatas. Sementara dari sisi produk, program ini menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan sikap disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kepedulian sosial siswa, meski sebagian kecil peserta didik masih menunjukkan perilaku kurang sopan terhadap guru maupun teman sebaya. Secara keseluruhan, hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program pendidikan karakter di SDN Cipete Utara 01 berada dalam kategori baik, namun masih perlu diperkuat melalui inovasi pembelajaran digital, pelatihan guru, serta sinergi antara sekolah dan orang tua agar selaras dengan tuntutan era Society 5.0.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of OECD 2030 Transformative Competencies in social studies learning in elementary schools to develop active, globally competitive, and adaptive students. These Transformative Competencies are considered relevant to the demands of the 21st century, which emphasize critical, creative, and collaborative thinking skills. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SRL) research design by reviewing 30 published literatures from 2019-2025, both from national and international sources, discussing the implementation of 21st-century and social studies learning reform. The results of the study indicate that the integration of Transformative Competencies has been implemented into the Independent Curriculum and the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile, which emphasizes student-centered learning and the implementation of the Anticipation-Action-Reflection (A-A-R) learning cycle. This transformation shifts the paradigm of social studies learning from its original focus on conventional memorization patterns to contextual, collaborative, and holistic issue-based learning. Thus, the integration of Transformative Competence in social studies learning enriches 21st-century competencies and strengthens students' character and social responsibility.

Abstract

Konten kearifan lokal sangat penting dalam Kurikulum Merdeka karena membantu siswa memahami identitas mereka dan menolak pengaruh budaya luar yang negatif. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewargaan di sekolah dasar, dengan berfokus pada fondasi budaya berbasis kelas dan berbasis sekolah. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan problem-based learning di Gugus R.E. Martadinata, Desa Mekawaru, Indramayu, Jawa Barat, pada April hingga Mei 2025, dengan melibatkan 25 guru dari enam sekolah dasar. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan literasi budaya dan kewargaan: budaya berbasis kelas mencapai 85% dan budaya berbasis sekolah mencapai 79%. Secara spesifik, kesadaran guru dan tenaga kependidikan mencapai 88%, penerapan di kelas 88%, dan produk budaya sekolah 78%. Sementara itu, capaian berbasis sekolah meliputi 82% dalam pembuatan bahan bacaan budaya, 79% pada kegiatan berbasis budaya, dan 77% pada pengembangan nilai kewargaan. Kesimpulannya, buku cerita berbasis kearifan lokal Sunda efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi budaya dan kewargaan serta menanamkan nilai dan karakter budaya pada siswa sekolah dasar

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum integrated with the National Curriculum (2013 Curriculum) at the Malang State University Laboratory Elementary School (SD Lab UM). The focus of the study is the Shared Binoculars Integration model, which combines thematic learning from the national curriculum with parallel Cambridge lessons in the core subjects of English, Science, and Mathematics. The research used a case study method with a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the Cambridge curriculum at SD Lab UM improved students' English language competence, critical thinking skills, and social-emotional abilities through inquiry-based learning methods in a bilingual context. Teacher training and the development of open-ended tools based on the Cambridge framework supported the successful implementation. This integration not only meets national standards but also responds to the needs of educational globalization while maintaining Indonesian character and cultural values. The implications of the research show that the integration of national and international curricula can strengthen the quality of basic education and open up opportunities for the development of students' global competencies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan aplikasi TikTok terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan pedagogik baru mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) UIN Sultanah Nahrasiyah. Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat menuntut mahasiswa calon guru untuk mampu beradaptasi dengan strategi pembelajaran inovatif berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif korelasional dengan melibatkan 15 mahasiswa PGMI yang dipilih melalui teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket berskala Likert melalui Google Form yang mencakup aspek frekuensi penggunaan TikTok, relevansi konten, kreativitas, dan pemahaman pedagogik. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial melalui uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan TikTok berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan pedagogik mahasiswa dibandingkan dengan metode belajar mandiri. Nilai koefisien korelasi (r = 0,74; p < 0,05) menunjukkan hubungan positif yang kuat antara penggunaan TikTok dan peningkatan pengetahuan pedagogik. Dengan demikian, TikTok dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran mikro yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas, konteks belajar, dan kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa abad ke-21.

Abstract

The problem examined in this study is the sub-optimal performance of teachers at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. This is indicated by the fact that the realization of teacher performance has not yet met the planned targets, which is caused by the sub-optimal leadership of the school principal. This study consists of two variables: the school principal's transformational leadership style (X) and teacher performance (Y). The objectives of this research are to obtain a description of the school principal's transformational leadership style, to obtain a description of the level of teacher performance, and to determine whether there is an influence of the school principal's transformational leadership style on teacher performance. The method used in this research is the explanatory survey method. The data collection technique is through distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale model, which is analyzed using simple regression. The population is 58 teachers at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression test. Based on the research results, it was found that the school principal's transformational leadership style is in the effective category and teacher performance is in the moderate category. Furthermore, the data obtained has a linear pattern. The hypothesis test results show that the school principal's transformational leadership style has a positive influence on teacher performance at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the massive development of inFormation and communication technology (ICT), which demands a shift in the education paradigm towards a student-centered model. Digital learning media has become a vital component to overcome monotonous conventional learning, but the main challenge is sustaining student learning motivation. Motivation is a critical key that influences engagement , persistence, and academic outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to conduct a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to synthesize empirical findings regarding the effectiveness and implementation of digital learning media on student learning motivation.The methodology used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), involving the identification, evaluation, and critical analysis of primary studies published within the period of 2020 to 2025. The literature search was conducted through major academic databases (Google Scholar, Scopus, and ERIC) based on predetermined inclusion criteria and search strings. The research stages included determining research questions, article selection, data extraction, and thematic synthesis. The results and discussion indicate that digital learning media has high effectiveness in enhancing student learning motivation due to its interactive, visual, and personal nature. The most dominant types of media used are gamification (such as Quizizz, Kahoot!) and interactive videos. Nevertheless, the implementation still faces major constraints, namely technological infrastructure limitations, insufficient teacher training in digital literacy, and the issue of digital fatigue  among students. The conclusion of this study provides comprehensive insights for educators and curriculum developers regarding optimal strategies for leveraging technology to support adaptive learning motivation in the digital age.
