Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This research begins with an awareness of strategic management, which presents various beneficial and successful approaches to enhancing the quality and standards of performance in for-profit institutions by demonstrating competitive advantages. Therefore, it is hoped that this writing can serve as a subject of study for educational institutions in the process of improving educational quality by implementing strategic management concepts within their organizations. The method employed in this research is qualitative, utilizing a library research approach. The data serving as instruments in this study consist of various information gathered from books, journals, and articles from previous research, employing documentation as the data collection technique and content analysis for data analysis. The findings of this research indicate that the role of educational institution leaders is crucial in formulating strategies for improving the quality and standards of educational institutions. The implementation of strategic human resource management is highly necessary to enhance student achievement through the teaching and strategies employed by educators in their learning practices. Strategic evaluation is conducted by educational institution stakeholders, acting as educational human resources, by analyzing the capabilities, potential, weaknesses, and risks of existing environmental resources. Consequently, this research not only enriches theoretical knowledge but also provides guidance that needs to be considered in the quality development of an educational institution.

The purpose of this study is to describe the application of in-depth learning using diary media to develop writing and speaking skills in third-grade students. The research approach used is qualitative with a descriptive qualitative research type. The research data is in the form of descriptions of learning during the learning activities. The research subjects are third-grade students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis consists of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that in-depth learning with the help of diary media is able to develop students' writing and speaking skills.

This research is motivated by the need for innovative, engaging, and interactive learning approaches to foster students’ critical thinking skills and increase their learning motivation. The purpose of this study is to describe the strategy of implementing PowerPoint media and the educational snakes-and-ladders game in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning for seventh-grade students at UPT SMPN 3 Gresik, as well as to analyze the obstacles encountered and the efforts made by educators to overcome them. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the use of learning media creates a joyful and collaborative learning atmosphere and encourages students to think critically in understanding religious concepts. The obstacles identified include lack of student attention, laziness, weak memory retention, and dishonest behavior in learning. Educators address these issues through the implementation of discipline, habituation of honesty values, the use of question-and-answer and discussion methods, aInd more effective classroom management. In conclusion, the strategy of integrating PowerPoint media and the educational snakes-and-ladders game has proven effective in improving students’ critical thinking and learning motivation, making it an interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful innovation in PAI learning.

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) has made a significant contribution to the transformation of global education, particularly in increasing the effectiveness, personalization, and efficiency of the learning process. However, behind this progress, new challenges have emerged related to the shift in human values, the loss of empathy, and the potential for dehumanization in education. This article aims to systematically review the relationship between AI, humanity, and social sustainability in education through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA approach. Data were obtained from 480 Scopus-indexed publications (2020–2025) with the keywords "artificial intelligence AND education AND humanity." After a selection and filtering process, 17 relevant articles were obtained and analyzed using the VOSviewer tool to map the relationships between topics. The analysis results show that the topics of Artificial Intelligence and Education dominate research with high intensity, while the discussion of Humanity and Ethics is still rarely studied. Literature shows that AI has significant potential to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 4 (quality education) and SDG 10 (reduced inequality), provided its implementation is grounded in ethics, empathy, and social justice. These findings emphasize that the direction of AI development in education must adopt a Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) approach, which places humans at the center of technological control to realize sustainable, ethical, and socially just education.

Abstrak Penelitian ini berawal dari suatu fenomena yang terjadi di Sekolah Dasar (SD) Swasta Juara Wirautama Desa Patrol, Kecamatan Patrol Kabupaten Indramayu. SD Swasta Juara Wirautama yang merupakan sekolah tergolong pemula dan baru berjalan 4 tahun namun saat sistem penerimaan murid baru, jumlah pendaftar melebihi kapasitas yang dimiliki dan terpenuhi hanya dalam waktu 3 bulan saja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ingin mengetahui bagaimana strategi pemasaran SD Swasta Juara Wirautama Patrol dalam Sistem penerimaan murid baru (SPMB). Dalam penelitian ini, jenis penelitian digunakan ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dalam teknik pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data merujuk kepada pendapat Miles dan Humberman dengan tahapan analisis pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan strategi pemasaran yang telah dilakukan SD Swasta Juara Wirautama Patrol dalam SPMB ternyata efektif dan efisien dengan memanfaatkan promosi program unggulan sekolah, yaitu tahfidż Al-Qur’an, menjalin hubungan interpersonal secara baik antara sekolah dengan wali murid serta efektivitas pengelolaan organisasi panitia SPMB.

This study aims to describe teacher readiness and the availability of school facilities in the implementation of educational robotics in primary school science learning. This research employed a qualitative case study approach, conducted at SD Negeri 42/IV Jambi during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving teachers who had attended educational robotics training and the condition of school facilities. The results indicate that teachers possess basic understanding of educational robotics, but their technical skills and ability to plan robotics-based learning are still limited. Teacher readiness is supported by a positive attitude and self-learning efforts, yet the implementation of robotics learning is not optimal due to the absence of robotics kits and devices. Regarding facilities, the school has provided computer laboratories, laptops/Chromebooks, and stable internet access, but robotics devices for practice are not yet available. Educational robotics has the potential to enhance student motivation, understanding of science concepts, as well as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The study recommends providing complete robotics kits and further training for teachers to support the effective implementation of educational robotics.

This study aims to explore teachers’ perceptions of utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an educational learning medium in elementary schools. Conducted at SDN 42/IV Kota Jambi, this qualitative case study employed observations, interviews, and documentation to collect data from teachers who actively use AI in planning and implementing learning. The findings indicate that teachers perceive AI as a functional digital tool that assists in preparing materials, creating visual media, and enhancing the variety and interactivity of learning. Teachers demonstrate positive and adaptive attitudes, using AI selectively according to students’ needs while maintaining pedagogical oversight. The effectiveness of AI integration is influenced by school support, including infrastructure, leadership, and collaborative culture, as well as strategies to overcome technical and pedagogical challenges. Overall, teachers effectively utilize AI, although further development in training and institutional support is recommended to maximize its pedagogical potential.

This study aims to identify, classify, and analyze the factors in the implementation of thematic learning in mathematics subject elementary schools, and formulate recommendations to improve the quality of implementation thematic learning. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) study based on the PRISMA guidelines. The process of PRISMA guidelines is identifying, assessing, and synthesizing the results of previous research in a transparent and structured manner. Literature searches are conducted through reputable academic databases with a publication range of 2021–2025 to obtain relevant and up-to-date sources. The results of the analysis showed there are many learning obstacles in mathematics subject elementary school, especially in the epistemological aspect. In the epistemological aspect are caused by less contextual and varied learning approaches, limited use of visual and concrete media, and weak teachers' ability to identify students' conceptual difficulties from the beginning of learning. Contextual approaches and constructivistic learning models are important to be applied to construc students' knowledge.

Students who run two roles as learner and worker often face significant pressure because must balance academic demands and work professionalism in time which is stimultaneous. The blend of this double burden can increase the risk of academic burnout, which is defines as condition where students experience condition of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and decrease in academic achievement. Presence of this double pressure, social support can become one factor that can reduce level of burnout. Therefore, this research aims to test the relationship of social support toward academic burnout on students who study while working. In this research got a total of 476 respondents consisting of 204 male and 272 female who are studying while working. Research method used is quantitative correlational non-experiment with non-probability sampling technique. This research uses measuring tool Maslach Burnout Inventory – Student Survey with Alpha Cronbach 0.843 and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support with Alpha Cronbach 0.963. Normality test has been done and got result of normal data distribution. In this research, have tested correlation by using Pearson correlation test method with value of r as big as -0.407 and value of p as big as < 0.001. This result shows presence of significant negative relationship between academic burnout with social support. Therefore, can be concluded academic burnout and social support have relatioship.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi isu etika penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam menjaga integritas akademik pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing (EFL). Meningkatnya penggunaan alat Generative AI (GenAI) seperti ChatGPT, Grammarly, QuillBot, dan Wordtune telah memberikan dampak besar terhadap praktik pembelajaran dan penilaian dalam pendidikan bahasa. Sementara teknologi ini menawarkan manfaat signifikan dalam peningkatan kualitas tulisan, personalisasi pembelajaran, serta penyediaan umpan balik yang cepat, penggunaan yang tidak tepat dapat menimbulkan pelanggaran integritas akademik, seperti plagiarisme, ghostwriting, ketergantungan berlebihan, serta penurunan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Systematic Literature Review dengan pendekatan PRISMA untuk menganalisis 10 artikel yang diperoleh melalui basis data Scopus dan Google Scholar. Hasil analisis mengidentifikasi empat tema utama: (1) manfaat pedagogis penggunaan AI dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris; (2) ancaman dan risiko etika terhadap integritas akademik; (3) faktor penyebab penyalahgunaan AI oleh mahasiswa dan pendidik; serta (4) strategi dan kebijakan yang direkomendasikan untuk mempromosikan praktik AI yang etis. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa integritas akademik dalam era AI memerlukan pendekatan komprehensif yang mencakup literasi etika, kebijakan institusional, metode penilaian alternatif, serta regulasi penggunaan AI di lingkungan pendidikan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi landasan bagi institusi pendidikan, pendidik, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang pedoman penggunaan AI yang bertanggung jawab dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris.
