Abstract

ABSTRACT Pneumonia is an acute respiratory infection that remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among children under five, especially in developing countries. In Indonesia, pneumonia consistently ranks among the top five causes of under-five deaths, with the City of Jambi showing a notable increase in cases, particularly in the working area of Puskesmas Paal V. Low maternal knowledge and attitudes regarding preventive measures—such as complete immunization, exclusive breastfeeding, maintaining environmental hygiene, and recognizing danger signs—significantly contribute to the high incidence of pneumonia. Effective and engaging educational media are needed to improve mothers’ understanding, and infographic media offer visual clarity, concise information, and ease of comprehension. This study aimed to determine the effect of health education using infographic media on mothers’ knowledge and attitudes toward pneumonia prevention in children under five. This quasi-experimental study employed a one-group pretest–posttest design involving 100 mothers selected through proportional sampling at posyandu in the working area of Puskesmas Paal V, Jambi City. Data were collected using validated knowledge and attitude questionnaires and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results revealed a significant improvement in maternal knowledge (p < 0.001) and attitudes (p < 0.001) following the infographic-based education. These findings indicate that infographic media are effective in enhancing mothers’ understanding and attitudes toward pneumonia prevention and can serve as an innovative educational strategy for health promotion at posyandu. Keywords: infographic media, knowledge, attitude, pneumonia prevention ABSTRAK Pneumonia merupakan infeksi saluran pernapasan akut yang masih menjadi salah satu penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas pada anak balita, terutama di negara berkembang. Di Indonesia, pneumonia termasuk dalam lima besar penyebab kematian balita, dengan Kota Jambi menunjukkan peningkatan kasus yang signifikan, khususnya di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Paal V. Rendahnya pengetahuan dan sikap ibu mengenai upaya pencegahan, seperti imunisasi lengkap, pemberian ASI eksklusif, menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, serta mengenali tanda bahaya, turut berkontribusi terhadap tingginya angka kejadian pneumonia. Media edukasi yang menarik dan mudah dipahami diperlukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman ibu, salah satunya media infografis yang menyajikan informasi secara ringkas dan visual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi melalui media infografis terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang pencegahan pneumonia pada balita. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experiment dengan pendekatan one group pretest–posttest pada 100 ibu balita yang dipilih menggunakan teknik proportional sampling di Posyandu wilayah kerja Puskesmas Paal V Kota Jambi. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner pengetahuan dan sikap, dengan analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan ibu (p < 0,001) dan sikap ibu (p < 0,001) setelah diberikan edukasi melalui media infografis. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa media infografis efektif digunakan sebagai strategi edukasi kesehatan yang inovatif dan mampu meningkatkan pemahaman ibu dalam pencegahan pneumonia di posyandu. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh permainan tradisional Bentengan terhadap tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena menurunnya aktivitas fisik anak akibat perkembangan teknologi digital yang menyebabkan berkurangnya interaksi dengan permainan tradisional. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki kelas V dan VI SD Negeri 01 Dawung, Kecamatan Matesih, Kabupaten Karanganyar. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Tes Kebugaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKJI) untuk mengukur lima komponen kebugaran jasmani, yaitu kecepatan, kekuatan, daya tahan otot, daya ledak, dan daya tahan kardiovaskular. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan (paired sample t-test) dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan Bentengan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kecepatan (p=0,000), kekuatan otot perut (p=0,004), daya ledak otot tungkai (p=0,001), dan daya tahan jantung-paru (p=0,001), namun tidak signifikan terhadap kekuatan otot lengan (p=0,166). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa permainan tradisional Bentengan efektif meningkatkan sebagian besar aspek kebugaran jasmani siswa sekolah dasar serta relevan untuk diterapkan sebagai strategi pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang berbasis budaya dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen penelitian yang dirancang untuk menilai minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di UPT SMP Negeri 2 Kampar Kiri. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan dari 15 siswa kelas VII melalui kuesioner skala Likert yang terdiri dari 22 butir pernyataan. Instrumen tersebut diuji validitasnya menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment dan diuji reliabilitasnya dengan Cronbach’s Alpha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 21 dari 22 butir memenuhi kriteria validitas, dengan nilai r > r-tabel dan signifikansi < 0,05, sementara satu butir dinyatakan tidak valid. Selain itu, analisis reliabilitas menghasilkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,935, yang menunjukkan tingkat konsistensi internal yang sangat tinggi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kuesioner tersebut valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur minat belajar siswa dalam PAI. Instrumen yang telah tervalidasi ini dapat digunakan dalam penelitian selanjutnya untuk memperoleh data yang akurat dan konsisten terkait motivasi dan keterlibatan belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai pendidikan akidah yang terkandung dalam QS. Al-An’am [6]: 102–103 serta menganalisis relevansinya terhadap pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan tafsir tematik (tafsir maudhu’i) dan tafsir tarbawi. Sumber data penelitian mencakup kitab tafsir klasik dan modern seperti Tafsir al-Maraghi, Tafsir Ibn Katsir, Tafsir al-Mishbah, serta literatur pendidikan Islam kontemporer. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa QS. Al-An’am [6]: 102–103 mengandung nilai-nilai utama pendidikan akidah, yaitu: pengakuan terhadap keesaan Allah (tauhid uluhiyah), kesadaran akan kekuasaan dan pemeliharaan Allah atas seluruh makhluk (tauhid rububiyah), dan kesadaran spiritual akan keterbatasan manusia dalam memahami hakikat ketuhanan. Nilai-nilai tersebut memiliki relevansi signifikan dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMP, khususnya dalam penguatan iman, pembentukan karakter religius, serta pengembangan kesadaran spiritual peserta didik. Integrasi nilai-nilai akidah ke dalam proses pembelajaran dapat diwujudkan melalui pendekatan kontekstual, keteladanan guru, dan kegiatan reflektif yang menumbuhkan hubungan spiritual antara peserta didik dan Allah Swt.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement of reading comprehension and learning interest in Indonesian language through the use of digital comic media among fifth-grade elementary school students. The research was motivated by the low level of student engagement and motivation in reading activities, as well as the limited availability of engaging learning media that suits the developmental characteristics of young learners. This research employed a classroom action research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 15 fifth-grade students from a public elementary school. Data on reading comprehension were collected through evaluation tests at the end of each cycle, while data on learning interest were obtained through questionnaires and observation sheets. The results showed that the use of digital comics improved students’ reading comprehension, as indicated by the increase in the average test scores across the cycles. In addition, students’ learning interest also increased, reflected in their growing enthusiasm, attention, and active participation during the learning process. Therefore, digital comics are proven to be an effective alternative learning medium for improving reading comprehension and learning interest in Indonesian language instruction at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The Family Medicinal Garden Self-Care Program (Asmantoga) is a community empowerment initiative aimed at promoting the use of medicinal plants to strengthen traditional health practices. This program was implemented in Tarokan Village, Banyuanyar District, Probolinggo Regency, with the goal of increasing community awareness and skills in cultivating and processing medicinal plants. A qualitative approach using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) model was employed, involving active participation from local residents throughout all stages of the program. The activities included seminars and public awareness sessions, planting and decoration competitions, and hands-on training in herbal product processing. The results showed improved community knowledge and skills in utilizing medicinal plants, the establishment of household TOGA gardens, and greater independence in maintaining family health using natural methods. Additionally, the program strengthened social solidarity and the preservation of local wisdom in traditional medicine.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the implementation of quality control in madrasahs in order to improve the overall quality assurance of education. This research employed a library research method by searching for literature related to the chosen theme. The collected literature was then compiled and analyzed. The findings show that the implementation of quality control in madrasahs involves three essential aspects: input, process, and output. It is expected that research can contribute to improving the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers’ experiences in developing instructional materials through four indicators: technique, process, feelings, and outcomes. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research was conducted at SD Negeri 96/IV Kota Jambi during the 2025/2026 academic year with experienced teachers as participants. Data were collected through interviews and documentation and validated using source triangulation. The findings show that in the technique aspect, teachers demonstrate a strong understanding of the importance of instructional materials and develop them systematically in alignment with curriculum objectives. In the process aspect, teachers conduct diagnostic assessments to adjust materials based on students’ needs and apply innovative strategies supported by concrete media and educational technology. In the feelings aspect, teachers express positive emotions such as pride, satisfaction, and motivation, which enhance their confidence and pedagogical competence. In the outcomes aspect, the instructional materials developed by teachers contribute to improved teaching quality, better student learning outcomes, and strengthened professional reflection. Overall, these experiences positively influence instructional effectiveness and support teacher professionalism.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media using Wizer.me based on the ethnomathematics of the Kajang Lako traditional stilt house for teaching plane shapes to third-grade elementary school students, determine the validity level of the developed media, and assess its practicality in classroom use. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collected included qualitative data from comments and suggestions provided by experts, teachers, and students, as well as quantitative data obtained through validation questionnaires completed by material experts, media experts, language experts, and practicality questionnaires from teachers and students. The study was conducted at SDN 3/IV Kota Jambi. The resulting product is an interactive digital learning media created with Wizer.me and integrated with cultural elements of the Kajang Lako traditional house as contextual visual representations of plane shapes. The validation results show that the media achieved scores categorized as valid and highly valid, with average scores of 4.20 from the material expert, 5.00 from the media expert, and 4.80 from the language expert. The practicality assessment obtained a score of 4.90 from teachers, 4.90 from the small-group trial, and 4.81 from the large-group trial, all classified as very practical. Based on these findings, the interactive Wizer.me learning media based on the ethnomathematics of the Kajang Lako traditional house is considered highly valid, highly practical, and suitable for use as a learning media for plane shapes in third-grade elementary school.

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires students to master Digital Literacy and Critical Thinking Skills, which are very important in learning Economics. This research aims to examine the influence of the Utilization of the Blooket Game Fishing Frenzy Mode and Digital Literacy, both partially and simultaneously, on the Critical Thinking Skills of Class X students at SMAN 3 Samarinda, who face the problem of conventional learning. This research, using a quantitative approach and associative research type, was conducted at SMAN 3 Samarinda, involving 68 Class X students as a sample determined through simple random sampling. Data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression, F-test, t-test, and the Coefficient of Determination (R2) with the aid of SPSS. The results of the research indicate that both the Utilization of Blooket and Digital Literacy have a significant partial influence on Critical Thinking Skills. Simultaneously, the two variables also have a significant influence on the dependent variable. It is concluded that the integration of Blooket as a gamification medium and the strengthening of Digital Literacy are proven to be effective and relevant in improving students' Critical Thinking Skills as an essential 21st-century competence.
