Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology in the digital era has fundamentally transformed the landscape of education. Conventional curricula that emphasize memorization and teacher-centered learning are no longer sufficient to meet the demands of the 21st century. This study aims to examine how curriculum innovation management based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) can serve as an effective strategy to enhance students’ 21st century skills. Employing a literature review method, the research synthesizes theories and findings from previous studies related to curriculum innovation, educational management, and PjBL. The results indicate that PjBL consistently improves critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills, while also fostering character and citizenship. Furthermore, effective curriculum management—including planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation—emerges as a decisive factor in ensuring the sustainability of PjBL practices. The integration of digital technology and supportive educational policies further strengthens the effectiveness of PjBL within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum. This study concludes that curriculum innovation management through PjBL is not only a pedagogical strategy but also a transformative approach to preparing students for global challenges and realizing the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045.

Abstract

Digital transformation in public service has become essential to ensure effective, transparent, and responsive governance. This study analyzes the implementation of the “Sistem Bukittinggi Gemilang” as a strategic effort to improve public services in Bukittinggi City by integrating multiple governmental services into a unified digital platform. The research employs a literature review and application feature analysis to assess the system’s relevance to public service needs. The findings indicate that the application enhances information accessibility, service efficiency, and accountability through transparent service data. It also strengthens public participation by providing reporting tools and centralized information channels. Nevertheless, challenges persist, including varying levels of digital literacy among citizens, government readiness, and the need to reinforce infrastructure and data security. This study highlights the importance of continuous system maintenance to ensure that digital innovation remains inclusive, sustainable, and aligned with public expectations.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising of non-academic programs in realizing student achievement (multi-site study at SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 6 Surabaya and SMP Wachid Hasyim 1 Surabaya). The main focus of the study is how the planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising of non-academic programs in realizing student achievement at SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 6 Surabaya and SMP Wachid Hasyim 1 Surabaya, the approach used is a qualitative approach with a case study type., the presence of researchers in the middle of the research setting is a must, because researchers in a qualitative study are key instruments for capturing meaning, as well as data collection tools, in this case the researcher will go as far as possible directly to collect the desired data at two sites, namely SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 6 Surabaya and SMP Wachid Hasyim 1 Surabaya. The type of data used in collecting data, researchers are directly related to the source, such as conducting interviews, observing, listening, interpreting, and analyzing. The results of the study show that effective management plays a very important role in fostering students' interests and talents through extracurricular activities. Teachers and mentors play a central role as motivators, facilitators, guides, and evaluators, regularly monitoring and providing feedback to improve students' non-academic achievements. Well-organized activities, communication and collaboration between stakeholders, and adequate facilities and resources are key factors in the success of this non-academic program.

Abstract

Vocabulary knowledge is crucial for students' ongoing learning, yet it often faces numerous obstacles in improving it. One reason is the low literacy skills of students, especially in first-grade elementary school. This study aims to examine the significance of the use of Magical Flash Cards in improving the basic literacy vocabulary of first-grade students at Semen Elementary School. The research question addresses the need to improve students' basic literacy vocabulary through measurable learning interventions. This study used a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design, involving a sample of 20 students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using test instruments (pretest and posttest) and analyzed statistically. The Shapiro-Wilk normality test showed a normally distributed data (p=0.124). A Paired Sample t-test demonstrated a convincingly significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.05). Normalized Gain (N-Gain) analysis showed an average increase of 0.65, categorized as moderately effective. These results prove that the Magical Flash Card media applied is effective in improving students' basic literacy vocabulary skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Kindness Corner and analyze its contribution in improving positive behavior of elementary school students. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with observation and documentation techniques that were carried out for one month in grades III A and III B. Initial observations showed that some students were not accustomed to writing down the positive actions they did, so that a habituation media was needed that could help students recognize and practice good behavior in a more directed manner. Data were analyzed through the process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed an increase in student participation in recording good actions, as seen from the increase in the number of checkmarks in the kindness journal between October and November. Students also showed increased enthusiasm for writing daily acts of kindness and began to understand the importance of their positive actions. Furthermore, students began to demonstrate positive behaviors more regularly in their daily classroom activities, such as helping friends, maintaining cleanliness, obeying rules, and showing concern for the learning environment. Through independent recording activities, students had the opportunity to engage in simple reflection on their behavior. These findings suggest that the Kindness Corner can be an effective visual medium for supporting the development of good behavior in elementary school students and helping strengthen character development through simple, structured, and easily implemented activities in the classroom.

Abstract

This study emerged from the recognition that cognitive skills represent a central component of early childhood development, particularly for children aged 5-6 who are experiencing a crucial developmental window. In practice, however, learning activities in many early childhood education settings still follow conventional routines and have not fully utilized the surrounding environment as a meaningful learning resource capable of offering direct, concrete experiences. Responding to this gap, the present research seeks to examine differences in children’s cognitive performance before and after the implementation of an environment-based learning model, as well as to assess the effectiveness of this approach in fostering cognitive growth. A descriptive qualitative method within an experimental design framework was employed. The participants consisted of 30 children in Group B at RA Miftahul Ulum Ketangi, who were assigned to an experimental group and a control group. Data were collected through observation, testing, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, complemented by the nonparametric Mann Whitney U statistical test. The findings revealed a notable enhancement in the cognitive abilities of the experimental group, which obtained an average score of 2.87, in contrast to the control group’s mean score of 2.27. The significance value of 0.017 further demonstrated a statistically meaningful difference between the two groups. These results strongly suggest that environment based learning effectively strengthens children’s logical reasoning, problem-solving capacities, and symbolic thinking by engaging them in direct, contextual learning experiences. Overall, the environment based learning model has shown a substantial and positive influence on early childhood cognitive development.

Abstract

Media sosial telah menjadi sarana yang penting bagi perusahaan dalam menyampaikan informasi dan membangun citra secara digital. Metland Transyogi memanfaatkan Instagram @metlandtransyogi sebagai media utama untuk memperkenalkan produk, berinteraksi dengan audiens, serta meningkatkan brand awareness. Dalam proses produksi konten, Metland Transyogi mengoptimalkan berbagai fitur Instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung terhadap aktivitas tim digital marketing serta wawancara mendalam. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Strategi produksi konten kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori POAC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi produksi konten tersebut mampu memperkuat citra perusahaan dan meningkatkan brand awareness Metland Transyogi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership strategies of elementary school principals in mobilizing community participation in three public elementary schools in Jambi City: SDN 64/IV, SDN 54/IV, and SDN 42/IV. A qualitative case study design was employed to explore the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes based on the four dimensions of transformational leadership proposed by Bass & Avolio: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. The findings show that in all three schools, principals successfully established strong partnerships with the community through vision-based planning, innovative and context-responsive program implementation, and participatory evaluation involving all stakeholders. These strategies enhanced community support in moral, material, and manpower forms, creating a more conducive and accountable school environment. The study concludes that transformational leadership effectively strengthens school– community collaboration and improves educational quality at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study identifies Gender-Based Violence (GBV) within the environment of Islamic Boarding Schools (Pesantren) and Islamic Schools as a systemic managerial failure, exacerbated by unequal power relations and weaknesses in the existing management system. The critical gap lies in the institutions' dependence on informal conflict resolution mechanisms (internal resolution), which is problematic due to the lack of clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), insufficient secure reporting channels (whistleblowing system), and a tendency to prioritize the institutional image over victim protection. Given the significant surge in GBV cases (e.g., 30 reported cases in the last three years), this research aims to formulate a robust and applicable Proactive Risk Management framework. The findings recommend a three-dimensional conflict management mechanism: the Preventive Dimension (through curriculum integration and codes of ethics), the Responsive Dimension (through the establishment of an independent Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPKS), transparent SOPs, and firm sanctions), and the Protection Dimension (through psychosocial services and restitution for victims). The implementation of this framework is highly urgent to transform Islamic Education Management (MPI) and realize a safe, inclusive, and violence-free learning environment.

Abstract

Public communication ethics play a crucial role in maintaining societal stability, particularly when messages are delivered by influential political figures. This study examines Ahmad Sahroni's statement in the context of the August 25, 2025, demonstrations, which elicited widespread public reaction. The research focuses on how Sahroni's communication ethics impacted social stability, and how the media and the public responded to the statement. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach with literature analysis. The theoretical framework included Aristotle's rhetorical theory (ethos, logos, pathos), McCombs & Shaw's agenda-setting theory, Shannon & Weaver's communication model, political communication theory, and communication ethics theory. The results show that Ahmad Sahroni's statement did not align with the principles of communication ethics, as it created a perception of demeaning the public and fueled social dissatisfaction. The mass media then amplified this issue through agenda-setting, thus amplifying its impact on public opinion. The resulting disruption to societal stability resulted in protests, decreased trust in the House of Representatives (DPR), and increased political tension. This study emphasizes the importance of public communication ethics in building trust and maintaining social stability. For students, this study provides practical learning about the close relationship between political communication, ethics, and their impact on social life.
