Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership strategies of elementary school principals in mobilizing community participation in three public elementary schools in Jambi City: SDN 64/IV, SDN 54/IV, and SDN 42/IV. A qualitative case study design was employed to explore the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes based on the four dimensions of transformational leadership proposed by Bass & Avolio: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. The findings show that in all three schools, principals successfully established strong partnerships with the community through vision-based planning, innovative and context-responsive program implementation, and participatory evaluation involving all stakeholders. These strategies enhanced community support in moral, material, and manpower forms, creating a more conducive and accountable school environment. The study concludes that transformational leadership effectively strengthens school– community collaboration and improves educational quality at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study identifies Gender-Based Violence (GBV) within the environment of Islamic Boarding Schools (Pesantren) and Islamic Schools as a systemic managerial failure, exacerbated by unequal power relations and weaknesses in the existing management system. The critical gap lies in the institutions' dependence on informal conflict resolution mechanisms (internal resolution), which is problematic due to the lack of clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), insufficient secure reporting channels (whistleblowing system), and a tendency to prioritize the institutional image over victim protection. Given the significant surge in GBV cases (e.g., 30 reported cases in the last three years), this research aims to formulate a robust and applicable Proactive Risk Management framework. The findings recommend a three-dimensional conflict management mechanism: the Preventive Dimension (through curriculum integration and codes of ethics), the Responsive Dimension (through the establishment of an independent Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (Satgas PPKS), transparent SOPs, and firm sanctions), and the Protection Dimension (through psychosocial services and restitution for victims). The implementation of this framework is highly urgent to transform Islamic Education Management (MPI) and realize a safe, inclusive, and violence-free learning environment.

Abstract

Public communication ethics play a crucial role in maintaining societal stability, particularly when messages are delivered by influential political figures. This study examines Ahmad Sahroni's statement in the context of the August 25, 2025, demonstrations, which elicited widespread public reaction. The research focuses on how Sahroni's communication ethics impacted social stability, and how the media and the public responded to the statement. The method used was a descriptive qualitative approach with literature analysis. The theoretical framework included Aristotle's rhetorical theory (ethos, logos, pathos), McCombs & Shaw's agenda-setting theory, Shannon & Weaver's communication model, political communication theory, and communication ethics theory. The results show that Ahmad Sahroni's statement did not align with the principles of communication ethics, as it created a perception of demeaning the public and fueled social dissatisfaction. The mass media then amplified this issue through agenda-setting, thus amplifying its impact on public opinion. The resulting disruption to societal stability resulted in protests, decreased trust in the House of Representatives (DPR), and increased political tension. This study emphasizes the importance of public communication ethics in building trust and maintaining social stability. For students, this study provides practical learning about the close relationship between political communication, ethics, and their impact on social life.

Abstract

This study examines the nature of scientific truth in Western and Islamic philosophical traditions through a comparative analysis of ontological and epistemological concepts. The problem stems from the gap in understanding the philosophical foundations of scientific truth that differ diametrically between the two traditions, where the West has separated the domains of religion and science since the Renaissance era, while Islam maintains a holistic view that integrates revelation, reason, and experience. The research method employs a qualitative approach with systematic literature study analyzing relevant primary and secondary sources from classical to contemporary periods. The research findings indicate that ontologically, the West constructs reality based on secular materialism while Islam is based on the holistic principle of tawhid. Epistemologically, the West relies on rationalism and empiricism, whereas Islam positions revelation as the primary source complemented by reason. Despite fundamental differences, both traditions share the same commitment to the pursuit of truth. This research contributes to the development of comparative epistemology and offers a methodological framework for cross-traditional researchers in designing research sensitive to differences in philosophical assumptions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in integrating Islamic values related to health and well-being into the free nutritious meal program in schools. Such integration is essential for fostering students’ spiritual and social awareness regarding the importance of maintaining health as a form of responsibility entrusted by Allah SWT. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving PAI teachers, students, and program administrators. The findings indicate that PAI teachers play a strategic role in imparting Islamic values such as gratitude, cleanliness, responsibility, and social care through both instructional activities and daily habituation. The integration of these values not only enhances students’ spiritual understanding but also shapes healthy living behaviors and strengthens social solidarity within the school environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan aplikasi sastra anak digital Calitra sebagai media penanaman nilai karakter pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek guru dan siswa kelas IV di SDN Bahagia 06 Kota Bekasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Calitra diterapkan melalui tiga tahapan pembelajaran, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, inti, dan penutup. Fitur teks, ilustrasi, dan audio dalam aplikasi mampu meningkatkan perhatian dan keterlibatan siswa selama kegiatan membaca. Tiga cerita digital yang terdapat dalam aplikasi Calitra efektif dalam menanamkan nilai karakter mandiri, bernalar kritis, dan kreatif. Siswa mampu mengidentifikasi perilaku tokoh dalam cerita, memberikan argumen logis dalam diskusi, serta menghasilkan ide-ide alternatif sebagai respons terhadap situasi cerita. Respon siswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi juga sangat positif, ditandai dengan meningkatnya minat membaca dan antusiasme mereka dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Calitra dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang relevan pada era digital, sekaligus mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka terutama dalam penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dan Perilaku Konsumtif pada penggemar BLACKPINK (BLINK). Tingginya antusiasme BLINK dalam membeli album, merchandise, tiket konser, hingga produk kolaborasi menunjukkan adanya pola konsumsi yang meningkat dan dipengaruhi oleh faktor psikologis. FoMO, yaitu kecemasan ketika merasa tertinggal dari pengalaman penting, diduga menjadi salah satu pendorong perilaku konsumtif tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional non-eksperimental dan teknik purposive sampling. Sebanyak 231 partisipan berusia 18-40 tahun yang telah mengikuti BLACKPINK minimal enam bulan serta terlibat dalam pembelian produk terkait fandom berpartisipasi dalam penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Skala Fear of Missing Out dan Skala Perilaku Konsumtif yang telah diadaptasi, masing-masing memiliki reliabilitas yang sangat baik dengan nilai Alpha di atas 0,80. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman karena sebaran data tidak normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara FoMO dan perilaku konsumtif (r = 0.416, p < 0.001). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat FoMO, semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan perilaku konsumtif pada penggemar BLINK. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami mekanisme psikologis yang memengaruhi perilaku konsumtif pada komunitas penggemar K-Pop.

Abstract

Indonesia’s implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum necessitates that students not only achieve academic excellence but also possess the strong character embodied by the six dimensions of the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5). The effective strategy for achieving this goal is the integration of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) with local wisdom. This study aims to systematically review and synthesize existing research on Local Project-Based Learning Design in the Merdeka Curriculum to strengthen P5, particularly in formal education settings. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, literature was selected from Google Scholar based on strict inclusion criteria from 2020–2025, resulting in the analysis of 7 relevant articles. The synthesis found that the application of local-based PjBL is highly adaptive across various educational levels, emphasizing contextual learning and direct involvement in community culture. This approach significantly contributes to strengthening P5 dimensions, especially Collaboration (Gotong Royong), Creativity, and Global Diversity (Kebhinekaan Global). The main supporting factor is the rich local culture, while the major obstacle is the varied competency of teachers in project management and authentic assessment. The findings confirm that Local Project-Based Learning serves as an ideal and visionary model for preparing Indonesian students who are characterized by Pancasila values, adaptive skills, and cultural roots. This SLR provides evidence-based guidance for formal education teachers in designing effective P5 projects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan logis-matematis siswa kelas V di SDN 1 Wantisari, Kabupaten Lebak, Provinsi Banten. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya strategi pembelajaran yang mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir logis dan sistematis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan analisis produk siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PjBL dilakukan secara sistematis melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang mampu memfasilitasi keterlibatan aktif siswa. Aktivitas pembelajaran berbasis proyek mendorong siswa berpikir logis, memecahkan masalah, dan mengomunikasikan ide secara matematis. Temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa produk proyek siswa mencerminkan kemampuan berpikir analitis, klasifikasi, penalaran deduktif-induktif, serta pengambilan keputusan berbasis logika. Persepsi guru dan siswa terhadap PjBL sangat positif, meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala teknis yang dihadapi. Simpulan utama dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model PjBL efektif dalam mengaktifkan kecerdasan logis-matematis siswa serta menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna, kontekstual, dan kolaboratif dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to reconstruct elementary education from the perspective of philosophy of science, focusing on how education can play a role in building character and developing individuals holistically. The research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study methodology, analyzing theories of character education, constructivist learning, and multiple intelligences in elementary education. The findings reveal that most elementary schools still emphasize academic achievement (IQ), often neglecting the social, emotional, and kinesthetic development of students. Although efforts to integrate character education are made, they remain limited and are often treated as extracurricular activities rather than being embedded in the daily learning process. The study suggests a shift towards a more holistic educational approach, one that integrates cognitive, social, emotional, and moral aspects to foster well-rounded individuals who are not only academically capable but also socially responsible and emotionally intelligent. The research contributes to the understanding of holistic education and proposes recommendations for improving the integration of character education in elementary schools.
