Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas implementasi pendidikan karakter disiplin melalui budaya sekolah di Gugus IV Kecamatan Ampek Nagari, Kabupaten Agam, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa, serta studi dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter disiplin berjalan efektif dan terstruktur. Efektivitas ini didukung oleh komitmen penuh seluruh warga sekolah dan pemanfaatan optimal Kurikulum Merdeka, yang memfasilitasi integrasi nilai disiplin melalui pembiasaan harian. Budaya sekolah yang terbentuk, seperti Budaya 5S (Senyum, Sapa, Salam, Sopan, Santun), apel pagi, piket kelas, dan kegiatan religius, menjadi media utama dalam menanamkan dan memperkuat kebiasaan disiplin, kerapian, dan tanggung jawab siswa. Secara nyata, perilaku siswa menunjukkan peningkatan disiplin waktu dan kepatuhan terhadap aturan. Implementasi ini menghadapi kendala signifikan yang didominasi oleh faktor eksternal. Hambatan utama adalah kurangnya dukungan dan kerjasama yang konsisten dari pihak orang tua dalam menerapkan disiplin di rumah, sehingga menyebabkan inkonsistensi perilaku siswa. Faktor penghambat lainnya meliputi keterbatasan waktu pembinaan karakter akibat pembagian dengan kegiatan akademik, jumlah siswa yang terlalu banyak yang menyulitkan pengawasan maksimal, serta pengaruh negatif lingkungan sosial di luar sekolah.

Abstract

Fobia adalah kondisi yang dialami seseorang akibat gangguan psikologis. Oleh karena itu, ketika dihadapkan pada situasi yang ditakuti, hal tersebut dapat menimbulkan gejolak emosi yang mendalam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan memahami konsep konseling desensitisasi sistematis untuk mengurangi rasa takut irasional terhadap serangga. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang memanfaatkan kajian pustaka yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan informasi melalui penelusuran dan pembacaan sumber tertulis, seperti jurnal, artikel, atau e-book. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa konseling Desensitisasi Sistematis terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi fobia spesifik, termasuk rasa takut irasional terhadap serangga. Teknik ini bekerja melalui tiga tahap utama: pelatihan relaksasi, pengembangan hierarki kecemasan, dan pemaparan bertahap yang secara sistematis membantu klien mengganti respons ketakutan dengan rasa tenang. Fobia merupakan salah satu kondisi yang dialami oleh seseorang yang disebabkan oleh gangguan psikis. Sehingga jika terjadi situasi yang ditakutinya maka akan terjadi gejolak jiwa yang sangat mendalam. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan memahami konsep konseling desensitisasi sistematik untuk mengurangi ketakutan irasional terhadap serangga. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang memanfaatkan observasi pustaka yang dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan informasi melalui pencarian dan pembacaan dari sumber-sumber tertulis, seperti jurnal, artikel, atau buku elektronik. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan Desensitisasi Sistematis terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi fobia spesifik, termasuk ketakutan irasional terhadap serangga. Teknik ini bekerja melalui tiga tahap utama pelatihan relaksasi, penyusunan stres kecemasan, dan paparan bertahap yang sistematis membantu konseli menggantikan respons rasa takut dengan rasa tenang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the accountability of the madrasa principal in improving teacher professionalism at MAN 2 Tanjung Jabung Timur. The study is based on the identification of several issues, including inconsistent supervision, incomplete performance documentation, limited evaluation of professional development programs, and uneven improvement in teachers’ pedagogical and technological competencies. This study employs a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that the principal’s accountability is reflected through program planning, academic supervision, performance monitoring, and transparent policy implementation. The inhibiting factors include inconsistency in supervision, limited use of learning technology by some teachers, insufficient teacher involvement in program planning, and weak continuous evaluation. The efforts undertaken by the principal include strengthening supervision, conducting intensive teacher training, optimizing MGMP activities, improving transparent performance documentation, and building a collaborative work culture. The study concludes that the accountability of the madrasa principal plays a strategic role in enhancing teacher professionalism, although further reinforcement is required in aspects of evaluation, transparency, and teacher participation in professional development programs.

Abstract

Literasi numerasi merupakan salah satu kemampuan fundamental yang harus dimiliki siswa di abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran media E-Card Edudaya dalam mengembangkan kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa sekolah dasar dan mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran menggunakan media E-Card Edudaya. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Pelambuan 2 Banjarmasin dengan subjek 22 siswa kelas IV. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media E-Card Edudaya memiliki enam peran penting: (1) sebagai media visualisasi untuk mengonkretkan konsep bangun datar, (2) sebagai sarana pembelajaran aktif dan interaktif, (3) sebagai alat penguatan pemahaman dan evaluasi mandiri, (4) sebagai stimulus pengembangan literasi numerasi, (5) sebagai penguatan daya ingat melalui repetisi yang menyenangkan, dan (6) sebagai media pengembangan keterampilan spasial. Proses pembelajaran terdiri dari lima tahap: orientasi budaya, eksplorasi konsep bangun datar, analisis sifat-sifat, permainan berbasis gamifikasi, serta kompetisi dan refleksi. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan pada lima indikator literasi numerasi yaitu kemampuan mengenali dan mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, mengaplikasikan, berkompetisi secara sehat, dan mengkomunikasikan konsep matematis.

Abstract

This study explores the policy and practice of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMK Yadika Jambi from the headmaster’s perspective. A qualitative research design was used, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation; data analysis followed the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum involved several key policies: teachers and the headmaster are required to use the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) for self-learning; participation in webinars; formation of teacher learning communities; development and use of curriculum-aligned teaching materials with guidance from reliable resource persons; and mechanisms for evaluation and student assessment. However, implementation also faces challenges such as teachers’ limited skills in using learning media and insufficient facilities and infrastructure. For student evaluation, the headmaster applies a combination of data collection, interviews and discussions, project/activity-based assessments, written tests, and teacher collaboration. These findings illustrate concrete efforts to translate the Merdeka Curriculum policy into classroom practice, while also highlighting the need for adequate infrastructure and teacher training to optimize implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the principal’s supervision in improving the work commitment of Islamic Education teachers at SMK Negeri 5 Muaro Jambi. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that the principal’s supervision is carried out through structured supervision planning, classroom supervision activities, feedback provision, and continuous professional guidance. The supervision conducted by the principal has been proven to enhance the work commitment of Islamic Education teachers, as reflected in improved responsibility in lesson planning, discipline, teaching quality, and motivation to engage in professional development. Supporting factors include school support, effective communication, and teachers’ willingness to improve, while inhibiting factors involve limited time, administrative workload, and suboptimal facilities. This study concludes that effective principal supervision plays an important role in strengthening the work commitment of Islamic Education teachers in the school.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum necessitates a transformative pedagogical approach to bridge the gap in 21st-century competencies. This study aims to analyze curriculum development management that integrates the Deep Learning approach characterized as Mindful, Meaningful, and Joyful at SDIT Ukhuwah, SDN Pasar Lama 1, and MDIM Kindaung Banjarmasin. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a multi-case study design, the research reveals that the integration of Deep Learning is anchored in three key management pillars. First, visionary instructional leadership fosters collective and reflective awareness. Second, teacher empowerment through the granting of autonomy and professional trust cultivates an enthusiastic atmosphere of innovation. Third, strategic partnerships involving parents and the wetland environment ensure contextual and relevant learning. The study concludes that a harmonious synergy among leadership, empowerment, and partnership constitutes a fundamental prerequisite for establishing an adaptive educational ecosystem oriented toward the development of students' holistic competencies.

Abstract

The role of parents has a significant impact on children's learning success, particularly at the elementary school level, where children still require consistent attention, support, and family involvement. At this stage, students need guidance, encouragement, and mentorship to foster their enthusiasm and intrinsic motivation for learning. This study aims to examine the relationship between parental support and the learning motivation of elementary school students, with a specific focus on children's developmental needs during the early stages of formal education. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature review method. This method was selected because it provides a comprehensive overview of how parental support influences students' learning motivation, based on findings from prior research. Data were obtained by reviewing literature from written sources, including scientific journals, books, articles, and other credible documents relevant to the research topic. The analysis was conducted descriptively through content analysis, which involved reading, assessing, and synthesizing information from various references to develop a more precise understanding of the relationship between parental support and learning motivation among elementary school students. The findings indicate that parental support plays a crucial role in enhancing students' learning motivation. Evidence from multiple studies demonstrates that parental attention, supervision, provision of learning resources, and emotional support significantly bolster children's enthusiasm and perseverance in the learning process. In line with educational theory, the family serves as a primary factor in helping children achieve optimal learning outcomes. Therefore, this study recommends that parents engage more actively in their children's learning activities to maximize the development of their learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital marketing in increasing the number of new students through participatory leadership at SMKN 2 Batanghari. The research is grounded in the growing need for educational institutions to adapt to digital technology developments, particularly in school promotional strategies. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that SMKN 2 Batanghari has utilized various digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and the school’s website to enhance visibility and introduce its vocational programs to the public. Furthermore, the participatory leadership style of the principal plays a crucial role in encouraging collaboration among teachers, staff, and students in content creation and the implementation of digital marketing strategies. The synergy between digital marketing and participatory leadership positively influences the interest of prospective students. Although the increase in new student enrollment is not yet significant, the trend shows gradual improvement compared to previous years. The study concludes that digital marketing supported by participatory leadership enhances the school’s image, strengthens internal collaboration, and serves as an effective strategy to face educational competition in the digital era. Recommendations include forming a dedicated digital marketing team and improving technological literacy among school members.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in-depth the implementation of technology in classroom management at SMP IT Al Kahfi Sarolangun and evaluate its effectiveness in supporting the learning process. Furthermore, this study also identifies various supporting and inhibiting factors that influence the optimal implementation of this technology. The results indicate that the use of technology, such as digital devices, online learning platforms, and interactive media, can improve the quality of interactions between teachers and students, strengthen student engagement, and increase the efficiency of overall classroom management. Technology also makes it easier for teachers to assess, document, and monitor student learning progress. However, this study identified several obstacles that hinder the optimal implementation of technology. These obstacles include limited teacher competency in utilizing technology effectively, a lack of specialized training, and the unequal distribution of technological facilities and infrastructure, such as internet connections and supporting devices. Supporting factors identified include support from school policies, the readiness of some teachers to adapt, and student enthusiasm for using technology in learning. Thus, this study confirms that the use of technology in classroom management has significant potential to improve the quality of learning, but requires serious attention to improving teacher capacity and strengthening supporting infrastructure.
