Abstract

Al-Qur’an tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pedoman hidup umat Islam, tetapi juga merupakan sumber nilai, prinsip pendidikan, dan inspirasi bagi pengembangan kompetensi pendidik, termasuk di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dapat dijadikan dasar untuk membangun kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian pada pendidik PAUD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah library research dengan menganalisis tafsir, jurnal ilmiah, dan literatur pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Al-Qur’an memberikan prinsip pengasuhan dan pembelajaran yang humanis; (2) ayatayat Al-Qur’an memuat nilai-nilai keteladanan yang dapat membentuk kompetensi kepribadian pendidik; serta (3) konsep tarbiyah Qur’ani mampu menginspirasi pendidik PAUD dalam memperkuat kompetensi profesional dan pedagogik sesuai kebutuhan perkembangan anak.

Abstract

Education is a strategic factor in national development, with teachers playing a crucial role as the spearhead of quality education delivery. This study aims to analyze the influence of work stress, work motivation, and social support on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Pamulang District. The study employed a quantitative approach with an associative approach, involving a sample of teachers selected through a multistage random sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that teacher performance is at a moderate level, with teachers capable of carrying out formal duties but not optimal in extra-role work behavior and controlling counterproductive behavior. Work stress, work motivation, and social support, neither partially nor simultaneously, have a significant effect on teacher performance. These findings confirm that teacher performance is influenced by various other factors, including professional competence, principal leadership, organizational culture, and school management systems. This study provides theoretical contributions by enriching the literature on the determinants of teacher performance, as well as practical implications for schools and policymakers in designing strategies to improve teacher performance through stress management, strengthening motivation, and increasing social support within the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how organizational communication affects the decision-making process in the Al-Qur'an Recitation Arts Student Activity Unit (UKM). Communication is very important in organizations because through good communication, information can be conveyed clearly and each member can understand their roles and responsibilities. This study uses a qualitative approach by conducting semi-structured interviews with administrators, trainers, and active members of the club. Informants were selected purposively based on their experience and involvement in organizational activities. The data obtained was then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify communication patterns and factors that influence the decision-making process. The results of the study show that formal, informal, vertical, and horizontal communication play a major role in the smooth running of the decision-making process. Clear and open communication helps prevent misunderstandings, speeds up the delivery of information, and improves cooperation among members. However, the study also found several obstacles, such as differences in perception, irregular communication flows, and members who are still hesitant to express their opinions. These obstacles result in delays or suboptimal decisions. This study concludes that effective organizational communication is essential to support accurate and efficient decisions. Therefore, SMEs need to improve their internal communication mechanisms so that the decision-making process can run more smoothly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal's leadership strategy in developing teachers' Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) at a private vocational high school in Solear District. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study strategy. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies involving the principal as key informant and teachers as key informants. The results showed that the principal implemented leadership strategies that included exemplary work attitudes and behaviors, open communication of the school's vision and goals, strengthening a collaborative work culture, creating a conducive work climate, and empowering and appreciating teachers. These strategies contributed positively to the development of teachers' OCB dimensions, such as trust, job satisfaction, altruism, sportsmanship, and civic virtue, although the level of OCB internalization was not yet fully distributed. The research findings also revealed that limited structural support, high workload, and a suboptimal reward system were inhibiting factors in strengthening OCB sustainably. This study concluded that principal leadership oriented towards values, empowerment, and humanistic interpersonal relationships have a strategic role in building teachers' OCB and a positive school organizational culture. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for developing educational leadership practices and strengthening organizational culture in private vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of organizational culture, principal leadership, and work discipline in improving the performance of public elementary school teachers in Cibinong District. Teacher performance in this study is understood as the results of teacher work that includes task performance, citizenship behavior, and control of counterproductive behavior. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population was all elementary school teachers in Cibinong District, with a sample determined through a sampling technique tailored to the research needs. Data were collected using a questionnaire instrument and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that partially organizational culture, principal leadership, and work discipline do not have a significant effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, the three independent variables also do not show a significant effect on teacher performance, with a low coefficient of determination value. This finding indicates that teacher performance is more influenced by other factors outside the research model, such as professional and pedagogical competence, intrinsic motivation, workload, welfare, support facilities and infrastructure, and the psychological climate of the school. Therefore, improving teacher performance requires a more holistic and sustainable approach by strengthening internal teacher factors as well as synergy between organizational culture, principal leadership, and work discipline in effective school governance.

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine how digital literacy is utilized as a learning medium in shaping students’ learning behavior at SD Negeri 08 Air Kumbang. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and surveys administered to 21 students. The findings indicate that 100% of the students enjoy learning through digital media, 95.24% understand the material more quickly when using digital media, and 100% state that digital tools increase their learning interest. The digital media used include laptops, projectors, and platforms such as YouTube and PowerPoint. The main challenge encountered is the limited internet signal in rural areas. This research confirms that digital literacy plays a significant role in improving learning quality and fostering positive learning behavior among elementary school students.

Abstract

The increasing social and religious pluralism requires Islamic education to develop approaches that foster inclusive and balanced religious attitudes. In this context, religious moderation emerges as a strategic principle for strengthening multicultural Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the concept of religious moderation as a principle of multicultural Islamic education in the thought of Azyumardi Azra, and to explain the conceptual relationship between the two in responding to the realities of a plural society. Employing a qualitative approach with a library research design, data were collected through documentation of Azra’s works and relevant academic literature, and analyzed using content and thematic analysis. The findings indicate that religious moderation in Azra’s thought functions as a normative and epistemological framework emphasizing balance, justice, and openness to dialogue, while multicultural Islamic education serves as the arena for implementing these values through curriculum and pedagogy. The study concludes that religious moderation and multicultural Islamic education share a mutually reinforcing paradigmatic relationship in shaping inclusive and contextual Islamic education. Future research is recommended to examine the empirical implementation of this concept in Islamic educational practices. Abstract

Islamic education in multicultural societies faces serious challenges due to the rise of religious exclusivism, identity polarization, and the impacts of globalization and digital transformation. These conditions demand a conceptual formulation of Islamic education that is inclusive, dialogical, and responsive to social diversity. This study aims to analyze the concept of multicultural Islamic education from the perspective of M. Amin Abdullah and to examine its relevance for the development of Islamic education in the era of Society 5.0. This research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review and intellectual biography design, using primary sources from M. Amin Abdullah’s works and relevant scholarly literature. Data analysis is conducted through qualitative content analysis combined with a hermeneutic approach. The findings indicate that multicultural Islamic education in M. Amin Abdullah’s perspective is grounded in the integration–interconnection paradigm, which connects normative Islamic teachings with the realities of social pluralism. This paradigm encourages Islamic education to foster not only individual piety but also social piety oriented toward humanitarian ethics, interreligious dialogue, and social responsibility. The study concludes that M. Amin Abdullah’s thought holds strategic relevance in addressing the challenges of Islamic education in the Society 5.0 era, particularly in developing inclusive, adaptive, and humane Islamic education.

Abstract

Cultural globalization is a global phenomenon that has brought significant changes in patterns of social interaction, identity construction, and societal value systems, including within the field of education. This condition poses serious challenges for Islamic education, particularly in shaping learners who are tolerant, inclusive, and capable of living harmoniously in plural societies. Multicultural Islamic education is viewed as a strategic approach to responding to these challenges through the integration of Islamic values with principles of respect for cultural, ethnic, and social diversity. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of multicultural Islamic education in responding to cultural globalization, with a particular focus on strengthening students’ multicultural competence. The study employs a qualitative approach using library research. Data were collected from scholarly journal articles and academic books relevant to the research topic. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis with a thematic approach. The findings indicate that multicultural Islamic education has a strong conceptual and theoretical foundation and is highly relevant in addressing the dynamics of cultural globalization. Multicultural Islamic education functions not only as a medium for the transmission of religious values but also as a means of developing students’ multicultural competence through the internalization of values such as justice, human fraternity, and compassion. Nevertheless, studies examining the dynamics of implementing multicultural Islamic education, particularly at the level of basic education, remain limited and require further empirical investigation. This study is expected to provide a conceptual contribution to the development of Islamic education that is more inclusive and responsive to the realities of a pluralistic global society

Abstract

This study aims to find out the perception of students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) towards the innovation of interactive rotary wheel media based on simple tools in an effort to strengthen the character of the Pancasila Student Profile. Interactive rotary wheel media was chosen because it is easy to make, economical, and can be used flexibly in various learning contexts in elementary schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This study uses a descriptive approach with PGMI student subjects who have used or tried the media in learning activities. The results of the study show that students consider that interactive rotary wheel media has high usefulness because it is able to increase activeness, motivation, and understanding of learning concepts, as well as instill character values such as cooperation, responsibility, and critical reasoning. From the aspect of suitability, this media is considered relevant to the needs and competencies of students as prospective teachers, because it encourages creativity and trains the skills of designing learning media based on real conditions in schools. The level of student satisfaction with the use of this media is also relatively good, especially because it looks attractive and is easy to operate. However, this study also found some negative impacts, such as limited material variation if the media is not further developed and requires sufficient preparation time for students. Overall, the innovation of interactive rotary wheel media based on simple tools is considered feasible and effective to be used as an alternative learning media that supports strengthening the character of the Pancasila Student Profile for PGMI students.
