Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model and learning motivation on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects consisted of an experimental class implementing the PBL model and a control class using conventional learning. Data on mathematics learning outcomes were obtained through written tests, while data on learning motivation were collected through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality tests, homogeneity tests, and two-way ANOVA. The results showed that the Problem-Based Learning model significantly influenced students' mathematics learning outcomes. Furthermore, learning motivation also positively influenced mathematics learning outcomes. There was an interaction between the PBL model and learning motivation in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model is recommended to improve the quality of mathematics learning in schools.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven significant changes in learning practices in elementary schools, including Islamic elementary schools (madrasah ibtidaiyah). Digital-based learning media is seen as an innovation with the potential to increase student learning interest through interactive, visual, and contextual presentation of materials. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital-based learning media on student learning interest at MI Al-Kifayah Pekanbaru. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consisted of fourth and fifth grade students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a learning interest questionnaire and a digital learning media usage questionnaire, which were tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using a simple linear regression test with statistical software. The results showed that digital-based learning media had a positive and significant effect on student learning interest. This finding suggests that the more optimal the use of digital learning media, the higher the students' learning interest. This research is expected to provide practical contributions for teachers and schools in developing effective digital-based learning strategies that are appropriate to the characteristics of Islamic elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Muhammadiyah Tembilahan Elementary School (SD Muhammadiyah Tembilahan). This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasiexperimental nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: an experimental class implementing the PBL model and a control class using the conventional model. Data collection was conducted using a multiplechoice science learning outcome test, the validity and reliability of which were tested. Data analysis used normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed a significant difference between the science learning outcomes of students taught using the PBL model and those taught using the conventional model. The average learning outcome score of the experimental class was higher than that of the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model is more effective in improving fifth-grade students' science learning outcomes at SD Muhammadiyah Tembilahan compared to the conventional learning model.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) of Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP), conducted in June– July 2025 in Jorong Lompek, Nagari Halaban, Lareh Sago Halaban District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency, represents a form of student service to the community in developing local potential. One of the main focuses of this KKN activity is the preservation of traditional cuisine, particularly gulai ayam lado katiang, as a cultural heritage and a signature flavor of the Minangkabau people. This dish is uniquely rich in flavor, cooked with ruku-ruku leaves as a natural aromatic and karambia randang (black roasted coconut) as a source of savory taste and deep color. Through observation, interviews, documentation, and outreach to the local community and younger generations, UNP students sought to revive local culinary values that are becoming increasingly unfamiliar. This activity aims not only to preserve regional culinary identity but also to support the cultural and gastronomic tourism potential of Nagari Halaban. Hence, preserving gulai ayam lado katiang not only strengthens community bonds but also becomes a part of a broader strategy for local-based development.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of using audio listening worksheets in improving short story listening skills of tenth-grade students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Unismuh Makassar. This study employed a quantitative experimental method using a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was all tenth-grade students, with a sample size of 44 divided into an experimental and a control class. The research instruments consisted of a multiple-choice test (10 items) and an essay test (1 item), along with documentation. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics, including tests for normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the average pretest score in the control class decreased from 71.36 to 70.90 in the posttest. Conversely, the average pretest score in the experimental class increased from 70.90 to 82.27 in the posttest. This was accompanied by a decrease in the standard deviation, indicating consistent student learning outcomes. These findings demonstrate that the use of Audio Listening Worksheets has a positive and effective effect on improving students' short story listening skills)

Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of student creativity through natural material face collage art media. Student creativity is an important aspect of learning in primary schools because it plays a role in forming critical thinking, innovation, and self-expression abilities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through literature study from various scientific sources related to art and student creativity. The results show that the use of natural material collage media, such as leaves, flowers, and twigs, is able to foster students' ingenuity and aesthetic sensitivity. This activity not only hones fine motor skills and a sense of environmental responsibility but also cultivates imagination, originality, and problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, the collage-making process provides a meaningful learning experience through the exploration of natural materials easily found in the students' surroundings. Thus, art learning based on natural material collage becomes an effective alternative for increasing primary school students' creativity and environmental awareness. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan kreativitas siswa melalui media seni rupa kolase wajah berbahan alam. Kreativitas siswa menjadi aspek penting dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar karena berperan dalam membentuk kemampuan berpikir kritis, berinovasi, dan mengekspresikan diri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur dari berbagai sumber ilmiah terkait seni rupa dan kreativitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media kolase berbahan alam, seperti daun, bunga, dan ranting, mampu menumbuhkan daya cipta dan kepekaan estetika siswa. Aktivitas ini tidak hanya mengasah keterampilan motorik halus dan rasa tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan, tetapi juga menumbuhkan imajinasi, orisinalitas, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Selain itu, proses pembuatan kolase menghadirkan pengalaman belajar bermakna melalui eksplorasi bahan alami yang mudah ditemukan di sekitar siswa. Dengan demikian,pembelajaran seni rupa berbasis kolase bahan alam menjadi alternatif efektif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan kepedulian lingkungan siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa buku cerita anak berbasis PMR pada materi matematika kelas IV SD untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang telah teruji validitasnya oleh validator ahli, kepraktisannya oleh guru kelas dan peserta didik dan efektivitas berdasarkan ketuntasan hasil belajar klasikal dan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta hasil observasi guru kelas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau R&D Dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Buku cerita anak berbasis PMR pada materi matematika kelas IV SD ini dikembangkan lalu diuji kevalidan oleh ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media kemudian dilanjutkan uji kepraktisan serta efektivitasnya. Hasil uji kevalidan skor validitas materi yang diperoleh adalah 83% dengan kategori “valid”, hasil uji validitas Bahasa 75% dengan kategori “valid”, dan hasil uji validitas media 87.5% dengan kategori “sangat valid”. Hasil kepraktisan ditinjau dari hasil analisis angket. Dari hasil analisis tersebut diperoleh rata-rata skor total kepraktisan 83,11% oleh dua guru kelas dengan kategori “praktis”. Ditambah lagi dengan uji kepraktisan oleh peserta didik sebanyak 27 orang dengan rata-rata skor kepraktisan 76,58% dengan kategori “praktis”. Sementara itu, hasil uji keefektifan ditinjau dari dua penilaian yakni: 1) hasil ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal yaitu 85,19%. Hasil telah memenuhi syarat karena telah melampaui batas minimal yaitu 85%. 2) Peningkatan kemampuan masalah dari hasil N-Gain berada dalam kategori “sedang” yaitu 0,62%. Sesuai dengan kriteria ketuntasan hasil belajar yang dijadikan acuan yaitu minimal 85% siswa yang mengikuti tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah mampu mencapai skor ≥75. Disimpulkan bahwa buku cerita anak berbasis PMR pada materi matematika kelas IV SD untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dinyatakan layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

This study analyzes the application of the Circular Model of SOME on the Instagram account of client @saliramart at TOS Creative Agency. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Primary data was collected through interviews, active participation, observation, and documentation, while secondary data was obtained from literature studies. The results of the study show that the Circular Model ofSOME on the @saliramart account was systematically applied by TOS Creativethrough structured content planning, evaluation of engagement and reach metrics, and team management through Trello and WhatsApp. Challenges in the engage stage, due to changes in audience behavior, were overcome with polls, Q&A, and reposts. The implementation of SOME improved brand consistency, publication effectiveness, awareness, sales, and the image of Salira Mart as a local retailer that is friendly and close to its audience.

Abstract

This study, entitled “Islamic Education Management in Early Childhood Education Institutions (PAUD)”, aims to analyze and describe the implementation of Islamic education management in Early Childhood Education institutions, particularly in terms of planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs grounded in Islamic values. The specific objectives of this research are to identify Islamic managerial practices applied in PAUD institutions, to document the challenges and constraints encountered in their implementation, and to formulate strategic recommendations for optimizing Islamic education management in PAUD. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving principals, teachers, and administrators of Islamic PAUD institutions. The research procedures include a preparation stage (instrument development), data collection, data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model, and the compilation of the research report. The expected outcomes of this study are the production of a research report that may serve as a reference for the development of Islamic education management in PAUD, the formulation of policy recommendation documents for institutional managers, and the publication of a scientific article in a nationally accredited journal as a means of disseminating the research findings. This study is expected to make a substantive contribution to strengthening the quality of governance in Islamic-based PAUD institutions in fostering children’s character and moral development from an early age

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Islamic thought of Syamsuddin As-Sumatrani and his intellectual responses to the social, cultural, and political challenges faced by the Malay Nusantara society during the 16th–17th centuries. Using a qualitative research method based on library research, this study examines Syamsuddin’s works, classical manuscripts, and relevant modern academic literature. The findings indicate that his thought is rooted in philosophical Sufism, particularly the concept of wahdat al-wujud, which he successfully contextualized within the spiritual landscape of Acehnese and Malay society. Syamsuddin developed a Sufi-based public ethic as a response to emerging social issues resulting from global trade and intercultural interactions. Culturally, he promoted an Islamization model grounded in local wisdom by selecting and reinterpreting Malay customs that aligned with the principles of monotheism. In the political sphere, he emphasized a spiritual-moral model of leadership that prioritizes justice, ethical conduct, and adherence to Islamic law. Overall, this study concludes that Syamsuddin’s ideas are holistic, adaptive, and visionary, effectively addressing the societal challenges of his time while remaining relevant to contemporary Islamic discourse in the Nusantara region.
