Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This research aims to develop an interactive learning medium based on the "Family 100" game that is valid, practical, and effective in fostering cooperation among fourth-grade students in Science and Social Studies (IPAS), specifically on the topic of Landscapes. The main problem underlying this research is the conventional teaching method (lectures) and the lack of interactive media, which result in low student collaboration skills. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The results showed that the developed media is highly feasible, with a media expert validation percentage of 97,14% and material expert validation of 100%. This media is proven to trigger active interaction and group discussion through a game mechanism that requires team consensus in answering popular questions.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using place value media in teaching mathematics to second-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) or elementary schools (SD). The concept of place value—including units, tens, and hundreds—is a fundamental component in early mathematics education. However, many students struggle to grasp this concept abstractly. Therefore, concrete instructional media such as Dienes blocks, number cards, and place value charts are employed as visual aids to facilitate learning. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the use of place value media significantly enhances students' understanding of number concepts. Students become more engaged, enthusiastic, and are better able to solve problems. These findings suggest that appropriate instructional media play a vital role in improving the quality of mathematics learning in lower primary education.

This study aims to systematically examine the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in elementary school physics learning through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review was conducted on scholarly articles published between 2015 and 2025 and retrieved from the Google Scholar database. The SLR method followed the PRISMA framework, which includes the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion of articles. The findings indicate that AR consistently contributes to improving students’ conceptual understanding of physics, learning motivation, and engagement, particularly in abstract subject matter. However, the implementation of AR still faces challenges related to limited infrastructure and teachers’ digital pedagogical competencies. The results of this study are expected to serve as both a theoretical and practical reference for the development of technology-based physics learning in elementary schools.

This study was motivated by the low narrative writing skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 12 Padang Besi. The problems were indicated by students’ difficulties in developing ideas, organizing storylines coherently, distinguishing topics and titles, and applying appropriate word choice and Indonesian spelling rules. In addition, the learning process tended to be conventional and did not actively involve students in the stages of writing. This study aimed to describe the improvement of students’ narrative writing skills through the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model. This research employed Classroom Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches and was conducted in two cycles. Cycle I consisted of two meetings and cycle II consisted of one meeting. Each cycle involved four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were a teacher and 19 fifth-grade students at SDN 12 Padang Besi. The results showed an improvement in students’ narrative writing skills. The average score increased from 72.2 in cycle I meeting 1 to 80.3 in cycle I meeting 2 and further improved to 88 in cycle II. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model is effective in improving the narrative writing skills of fifth-grade students at SDN 12 Padang Besi.

This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of introvert students in the fourth grade of elementary school. The type of research used in this is a case study. The research subjects studied were from the findings of information with class teachers, namely introvert students' learning outcomes in the attitude aspect that is not visible during the learning process. Data collection using non-test instruments in the form of observations using checklists, was carried out to obtain data on learning outcomes in the learning process, then interviews were conducted with teachers and introvert students, supported by video documentation. The results of the study found that stimuli in the form of attention, guidance, and support from teachers succeeded in fostering motivation to participate in learning activities for introvert students. Both in terms of social interaction, courage to take risks, in terms of depth of thinking, as well as in aspects of students' attitudes towards the subject matter based on the narrative of inner impulses. In the aspect of students' attitudes towards values or norms related to the subject matter and in expressing feelings, introvert students do learning predominantly through writing, teachers provide opportunities for introvert students to be involved in learning with what introvert students do. Emotional support, support for appreciation, and support for information are important for introvert students in elementary school.

Keberhasilan proyek konstruksi merupakan isu penting dalam industri konstruksi yang dihadapkan pada tingkat kompleksitas dan ketidakpastian yang tinggi. Berbagai proyek konstruksi masih mengalami permasalahan seperti keterlambatan waktu, pembengkakan biaya, dan ketidaktercapaian mutu, yang mengindikasikan belum optimalnya praktik manajemen proyek. Salah satu faktor kunci yang berperan dalam menentukan keberhasilan proyek konstruksi adalah kompetensi manajer proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kompetensi manajer proyek dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan proyek konstruksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada manajer proyek konstruksi di wilayah Surabaya dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi manajer proyek berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keberhasilan proyek konstruksi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kompetensi teknis, manajerial, dan perilaku manajer proyek berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pencapaian waktu, biaya, kualitas, serta kepuasan pemangku kepentingan proyek. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam memperkuat pendekatan berbasis kompetensi dalam kajian manajemen proyek konstruksi serta memberikan implikasi praktis bagi organisasi konstruksi untuk memprioritaskan pengembangan kompetensi manajer proyek guna meningkatkan tingkat keberhasilan proyek secara berkelanjutan.

Proyek konstruksi memiliki tingkat risiko dan ketidakpastian yang tinggi, sehingga sering mengalami permasalahan kinerja seperti keterlambatan waktu, pembengkakan biaya, dan penurunan mutu. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan pentingnya penerapan manajemen risiko yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja proyek konstruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh manajemen risiko terhadap kinerja proyek konstruksi dengan mempertimbangkan peran ketidakpastian proyek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada manajer proyek konstruksi di wilayah Surabaya menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen risiko berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja proyek konstruksi. Selain itu, ketidakpastian proyek terbukti berperan sebagai variabel moderasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara manajemen risiko dan kinerja proyek konstruksi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan manajemen risiko menjadi semakin krusial pada proyek dengan tingkat ketidakpastian yang tinggi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam memperkaya kajian manajemen risiko dalam manajemen proyek konstruksi serta memberikan implikasi praktis bagi organisasi konstruksi untuk mengelola risiko secara lebih adaptif guna meningkatkan kinerja proyek secara berkelanjutan.

The strategy of developing tourism based on local wisdom is carried out as an effort to preserve culture. The purpose of this study is to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of tourism development and to analyze the strategy of developing the Thousand Musamus tourism based on local wisdom. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods and purposive sampling techniques. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study show that supporting factors include collaboration with the village community, facility development, promotion, and the formation of Pokdarwis. Inhibiting factors include a large amount of waste, damaged road access, and the risk of land fires during the dry season. The strategy of developing tourism based on local wisdom includes the development of traditional dances, craft products, sago processing, and holding cultural festivals. Road repairs, the availability of additional Bevak, the involvement of local communities in collaboration with Indigenous Peoples Institutions, Village-Owned Enterprises, and the Tourism Office, as well as training for promotion, by integrating local wisdom values into the strategy of developing the Thousand Musamus tourism are expected to make this tourism the most popular tourist attraction in Merauke Regency.

This study was motivated by limited empirical research on the effectiveness of multisensory methods in improving beginning reading skills at the elementary school level. The study aimed to examine the effect of the multisensory (VAKT) method on the beginning reading skills of second-grade elementary school students using a quantitative quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: Class II B, the experimental group, which received multisensory instruction, and Class II A, the control group, which received conventional instruction. Data were collected through a beginning reading skills test and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test, the Mann–Whitney U Test, and N-Gain analysis. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group following the implementation of the multisensory method, with high effectiveness as indicated by N-Gain results. Although no statistically significant difference was found between the experimental and control groups, descriptive analysis showed that the multisensory method positively supported students’ learning progress. The study concluded that the multisensory method demonstrated effectiveness in enhancing beginning reading skills within the experimental group and was recommended for elementary reading instruction.

This study aims to examine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Blooket media on elementary school students’ mathematical critical thinking skills. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi- experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of all fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 27/IX Sebapo in the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 45 students. The sample was divided into two classes: class VA as the experimental group and class VB as the control group. Data were collected through a mathematical critical thinking skills test administered in the form of pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and an independent sample t-test. The results indicate a significant difference in mathematical critical thinking skills between students taught using the PBL model assisted by Blooket media and those taught using conventional learning methods. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Blooket media has a positive effect on elementary school students’ mathematical critical thinking skills.
