Abstract

The main problem in this study is whether the application of pop-up book animation learning media can improve learning outcomes in the science subject of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 5 Tarowang. This study aims to apply pop-up book animation learning media to improve learning outcomes in the science subject of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 5 Tarowang. This type of research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each cycle conducted four meetings. The research procedure includes planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were 15 fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 5 Tarowang. The results showed that the application of Pop-Up Book Animation learning media can improve student learning outcomes. In Cycle I, 7 students (47%) achieved learning mastery, while 8 students (53%) did not achieve mastery. These results indicate that classical learning mastery has not been achieved. After improvements were made in Cycle II, student learning outcomes improved, with 12 students achieving learning completion (80%) and 3 students achieving completion (20%). Therefore, classical learning completion has been achieved. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that the application of Pop-Up Book Animation learning media can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Natural Sciences (IPAS) on the respiratory system for fifth-grade students of UPT SDN 5 Tarowang.

Abstract

In Indonesia, malnutrition remains a serious public health issue, with many elementary school children experiencing inadequate nutritional intake, negatively impacting their concentration, motivation, and academic achievement. This study aims to analyze the impact of the MBG Program on elementary school students' concentration during learning activities. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Research informants included students, classroom teachers, parents, and school officials directly involved in the implementation of the MBG program. The results showed that the implementation of the MBG Program contributed to increased student concentration, as indicated by increased learning focus duration and reduced distractive behavior in class. In addition, MBG also increased student motivation and active participation in the learning process. Support from teachers, parents, and school officials strengthened the program's effectiveness in creating a more conducive learning atmosphere. Overall, the MBG Program has proven to play a significant role in supporting students' learning readiness and improving the quality of the learning process in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital flipbook learning media for basic facial makeup and to examine its feasibility and effectiveness in supporting learning activities. The background of this research is the limited use of interactive digital media in basic facial makeup learning, which results in students experiencing difficulties in understanding systematic makeup techniques and procedures. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research subjects were students of a beauty education program. Data were collected through material expert and media expert validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and pretest–posttest instruments. The results of expert validation indicated that the digital flipbook learning media was categorized as very feasible in terms of content accuracy, presentation, and media design. Furthermore, the effectiveness test showed an improvement in students’ learning outcomes after using the digital flipbook, as indicated by the increase in posttest scores compared to pretest scores. Student responses also showed a very positive perception of the digital flipbook media in terms of attractiveness, ease of use, and usefulness in learning basic facial makeup. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the digital flipbook learning media is feasible and effective for use in basic facial makeup learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic entrepreneurship through educational management at SD IT Al-Akhyar Muara Bungo. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, involving school principals, teachers, and students as research subjects. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation.The findings reveal that the implementation of Islamic entrepreneurship at SD IT Al-Akhyar Muara Bungo is carried out through integration into learning activities, market day programs, and the habituation of Islamic values such as honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, and hard work. Educational management plays a crucial role in the success of the program through systematic planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. Teachers act as facilitators in guiding students, while the support of school principals and parents strengthens program implementation. However, several challenges were identified, including limited instructional time, insufficient facilities, and varying levels of teacher competence in integrating Islamic entrepreneurial values. Nevertheless, the program has generally contributed positively to students’ character development, self-confidence, social skills, and financial literacy. Therefore, strengthening educational management, improving teacher competence, and developing a more structured curriculum are necessary to optimize and sustain the implementation of Islamic entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the level of interest in mathematics among fourth-grade students at SDN Mekargalih 04. Interest in mathematics is very important because it improves focus, persistence, and achievement of educational goals, but initial observations indicate a lack of student attention, engagement, and participation during learning. This study used a quantitative methodology with a survey, which included all 24 fourth-grade students as participants. Data were collected through a learning interest questionnaire using a Likert scale, which was arranged based on four indicators: enjoyment, attention, interest, and student engagement. The data were then analyzed descriptively by calculating the mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and frequency distribution and interest categories. The test results showed that the questionnaire instrument was valid and reliable (Cronbach Alpha 0.849), making it suitable for measurement purposes. The results revealed that no students were considered less interested or not interested; 16.7% were defined as very interested, 37.5% as interested, and 45.8% as moderately involved in mathematics learning. Interest in mathematics among fourth-grade students at SDN Mekargalih 04 was included in the interested category, mostly at a moderate interest level; Therefore, additional pedagogical initiatives are needed to improve the quality of mathematics learning experiences in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect of the Probing-Prompting learning model on students' critical thinking skills at SMPN 40 Pekanbaru. This study is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students, including students having difficulty in understanding a text or information obtained and students having difficulty drawing logical conclusions based on the information obtained. This type of research is a quantitative study with a Quasi Experiment approach with a Nonequivalent Control Design. The population in this study is class VII, totaling 205 students, while the sample in this study consists of 2 classes, namely class VII E as the experimental class and class VII C as the control class, totaling 80 students. The sample uses a Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques are normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests (Independent Sample t-Test) and influence tests (Effect-Size). Data analysis to test the hypothesis was carried out using the IBM SPSS Statistics Version 22 application. Based on the hypothesis test using the Independent Sample t-Test, the calculated t and t table were 6.559 > 1.668 with a significance level of 0.05 or 5% which stated that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. The magnitude of the influence of the Probing-Prompting learning model on Social Sciences subjects can be seen from the results of the Effect Size test of 3.46.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of Islamic preaching communication in the digital era through social media, particularly on the YouTube platform. The main issues raised are the forms of Islamic preaching communication transformation and the opportunities and challenges faced in conveying Islamic messages amidst the development of digital technology. This study aims to identify the forms of Islamic preaching communication transformation and explain the opportunities and challenges in utilizing social media as a means of effectively conveying religious messages. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a netnographic approach in the study of Islamic preaching communication. Data sources consist of primary and secondary data obtained through virtual observation, documentation, and content analysis on the YouTube platform. The data analysis process is carried out through several stages: data reduction, data presentation, data analysis, and systematic drawing of conclusions to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon under study. The results show that the transformation of Islamic preaching communication in the digital era is characterized by changes in communication style, which is more interactive and dialogical, and the use of relaxed language that is easily understood by audiences, especially the younger generation. In addition, Islamic preaching also utilizes attractive visual and audiovisual content to increase the appeal of religious messages. Islamic preaching communication becomes more participatory through interaction features such as comments, likes, and shares. The opportunities for digital da'wah include broad audience reach, easy access to information, and flexibility in time and place. However, challenges also arise, such as the spread of unverified information, the potential for message distortion, and the influence of social media algorithms. Therefore, adaptive, creative, and digital literacy-based da'wah communication strategies are needed to ensure the Islamic message remains authentic, relevant, and can positively impact the wider community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the perceptions of youth members of Masjid Nurul Haq Tomba toward Islamic preaching content on TikTok and to analyze its implications for the formation of birrul walidain conduct within the framework of Islamic education. The phenomenon underlying this research is the measurable success of TikTok-based digital dakwah in cultivating awareness and filial behavior among mosque youth, a reality that surpasses the theoretical expectation which asserts that the formation of Islamic conduct cannot rely solely on digital media. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design conducted directly at Masjid Nurul Haq Tomba. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles et al., and validated through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that youth perceptions were positively shaped through three interconnected aspects, namely message comprehension, content appeal, and critical trust toward the preacher, all of which were reinforced by the religious mentorship environment of the mosque. The implications of TikTok dakwah content on birrul walidain conduct unfolded in successive layers, from the growth of value awareness and concrete attitudinal change to the internalization of filial behavior in daily life. The central finding of this study affirms that digital dakwah and mosque-based Islamic education are not competing forces but mutually reinforcing ones. This research contributes to the achievement of SDGs Goal 4 on quality education and Goal 16 on peace and strong institutions through the formation of a morally grounded and family-harmonious younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the initial digital literacy skills of elementary school students through a bibliometric review approach. Digital literacy is an essential competency of the 21st century that encompasses not only the technical skills of using technology but also the skills of critical thinking, information evaluation, communication, collaboration, and awareness of digital security. The research method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with bibliometric analysis referring to the PRISMA guidelines. Data were obtained from 11 articles from 2021–2026, then selected to four articles that met the inclusion criteria and analyzed using VOSviewer software. The results show that the trend of digital literacy publications in elementary education has increased significantly, and is dominated by the theme of digital literacy integration in learning. Substantively, the initial digital literacy skills of elementary school students are in the fairly good category, especially in the aspects of critical thinking and the ability to find information, but are still low in the aspects of digital security, collaboration, and creativity. This study also found that teacher competence, infrastructure support, and parental guidance are important factors in the development of students' digital literacy. Furthermore, digital literacy has two main dimensions: as an educational opportunity and as a potential risk if not managed properly. Therefore, developing digital literacy from an early age requires a comprehensive and sustainable approach to fostering a generation that is critical, creative, and responsible in utilizing digital technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti penyalahgunaan cadar masa kini dalam perspektif hadis crosshijaber dan mencuri.Penyalagunaan cadar dalam pembahasan ini adalah crosshijaber dan mencuri. Crosshijaber adalah istilah untuk menggambarkan sekelompok laki-laki yang menggenakan pakaian perempuan yaitu hijab alias kerudung penutup kepala, dress, hingga cadar.Penyalahgunaan cadar kedua adalah mencuri, maksud mencuri disini yaitu mencuri menggunakaan cadar, penyalahgunaan cadar ini terjadi di majelis - majelis di masjid dan ditoko-toko juga beberapa kali ditemukan pencurian.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kajian pustaka (library reseach) penelitian kepustakaan.Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan jenis data kualitatif, metode Analisis data penelitian ini adalah mengumpulkan objek dari penelitian yang akan diteliti.Temuan penelitian ini memberikan sisi lain dari masalah dan dampak dari menggunakan cadar, crosshijaber dan mencuri dalam penggunaan cadar dalam sosial media sangatlah marak pada umumnya terjadi dikalangan orang yang tidak tau adab cadar, mereka hanya mengira itu hanyalah penutup muka saja.Penyalahgunaan cadar dari sekian banyak problematika yang terjadi maraknya juga tabarruj di media sosial yang menggunakan cadar tapi peneliti tidak meneliti masalah tersebut.Peneliti ingin mendalami problematika cadar dalam crosshijaber dan mencuri.
