Abstract

This study aims to analyze the types, effectiveness, as well as the advantages and limitations of digital-based interactive learning media in elementary schools. The method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA approach, which includes the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Data were collected using the Publish or Perish application from Google Scholar and Crossref databases, with a publication range from 2022 to 2026, resulting in 25 relevant articles for analysis. The findings indicate that interactive learning media consist of audio, audiovisual, and digital interactive media such as videos, multimedia, educational games, and web-based applications. These media have been proven effective in improving students’ learning outcomes across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, as well as enhancing students’ motivation, interest, and engagement in the learning process. However, their implementation still faces challenges, including limited facilities, technological access, and teachers’ competencies. Therefore, optimizing the use of interactive learning media is necessary to support more effective and innovative learning.

Abstract

Education has a crucial role in developing students' character and skills, especially in the era of globalization and technological advances. Motivation to learn, as a key factor in educational success, is still a challenge in elementary schools, including at SDIT Cokroaminoto. This research aims to analyze strategies for developing student learning motivation implemented by teachers at SDIT Cokroaminoto. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical approach with data collection through observation and interviews with school principals, class teachers and subject teachers. Research finds that various innovative learning methods and the use of technology, such as educational applications, have succeeded in increasing students' motivation and learning skills. Although there are challenges related to intrinsic motivation and parental involvement, support from various parties and training for teachers has proven effective in creating an inspiring learning environment. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide insight for other educational institutions in developing appropriate strategies to increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of multiliteracy assessment in deep learning-based IPAS instruction on metamorphosis material in a third-grade classroom. Using a qualitative descriptive-analytic case study approach, the research explores a single learning cycle implemented through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model at SD Negeri 4 Kaumrejo. Data were collected through document analysis, video-based observation, and semi-structured interviews, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings reveal that multiliteracy assessment is substantially integrated, as reflected in the presence of various literacy modes linguistic, visual, oral, spatial, digital, critical, and social across learning phases, with peak integration during investigation and presentation activities. Authentic assessments such as concept maps and dioramas effectively capture students’ multimodal competencies. However, gaps remain in the explicit assessment of digital and critical literacy, assessment differentiation, and structured student reflection. The study highlights the need for more comprehensive and specific rubrics to optimize multiliteracy assessment practices in primary education.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low ability of elementary school students in writing descriptive texts. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on the descriptive text writing ability of fourth grade students at UPTD SDN 241 Inpres Perumnas Tumalia. This research employed an experimental method a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects consisted of 16 students of class IV B. Data were collected through descriptive text writing test administered before the treatment (pretest) and after treatment (posttest). The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis with the assistance of SPSS software. The results showed that there was an improvement in students’ descriptive text writing ability after the implementation of the Project Based Learning model. This was indicated by the average posttest score of 58,89 which was categorized as poor, while the average posttest score of 80,86 was categorized as good. The hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample t-Test showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0,000, which was lower than the significance level of 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Therefore, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model has a significant effect on the descriptive text writing ability of fourth grade students at UPTD SDN 241 Inpres Perumnas Tumalia.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning interest and motivation of students, which was reflected in minimal active participation and lack of attention to teacher explanations, affecting their understanding of the material and achievement of the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). The study aimed to develop a Problem Based Learning (PBL)-based learning module that is valid and effective. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Borg and Gall model, modified into seven stages: data collection, planning, product development, design validation, product revision, small-scale trial, and large-scale trial. The research subjects consisted of 31 fourth-grade students of SDN Merjosari 3. Data were collected through expert validation, teacher and student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the module was highly valid (media 96%, material 84%, language 84%). The small-scale trial indicated effectiveness of 88% with a teacher response rate of 96%, while the large-scale trial reached 90% effectiveness with a teacher response rate of 98%. The average learning outcome score of 87.84 indicated an improvement in students’ understanding. The module is considered feasible for use as it supports active, contextual, and meaningful learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya pemanfaatan permainan tradisional sebagai model pembelajaran yang terstruktur untuk membangun karakter anak usia 5–6 tahun. Permainan tradisional Tam-Tam Buku memiliki potensi edukatif, namun belum dikembangkan secara sistematis untuk mendukung pembentukan karakter anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model permainan tradisional Tam-Tam Buku untuk membangun karakter anak usia 5–6 tahun di Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan lembar validasi yang melibatkan ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model permainan tradisional Tam-Tam Buku yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis digunakan sebagai model pembelajaran untuk membangun karakter anak. Model permainan ini mampu membangun nilai karakter seperti kerja sama, disiplin, kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan percaya diri. Dengan demikian, model permainan tradisional yang dikembangkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran yang efektif dan bermakna dalam membangun karakter anak usia dini melalui kegiatan bermain.

Abstract

The low interest among undergraduate students in Indonesia in pursuing a master’s degree indicates that students still lack the desire to continue their studies, due to several factors. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of parental support and Self Efficacy on the interest in pursuing a master’s degree among students in the Office Administration Education program at Surabaya State University. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of parental support and Self Efficacy into a single regression model in the context of undergraduate students. This study employs an explanatory quantitative approach, with the subjects being Office Administration Education students currently in their final semester (7th/8th). Data were collected using a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed through classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study indicate that parental support does not influence the intention to pursue a master’s degree, whereas Self Efficacy has a positive and significant effect. Together, parental support and Self Efficacy account for approximately 45.4% of the variation in the intention to pursue a master’s degree. Providing empirical evidence on the influence of parental support and Self Efficacy on the interest of Office Administration Education students at Surabaya State University in pursuing a master’s degree.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes to the scope of Islamic Religious Education. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities faced by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) amidst the widespread use of artificial intelligence by students. The research method used is library research with a qualitative-descriptive approach. Data were collected through documentation of scientific literature, books, and related journal articles. The results show that the development of AI presents challenges in the form of a crisis of religious authority, the risk of shallowing of religious understanding due to the loss of scientific chains of evidence, and threats to students' academic integrity. However, this technology also offers significant opportunities in personalized learning and accelerating Islamic digital literacy. This study concludes that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) must transform the role of teachers from instructors to spiritual mentors and reconstruct the curriculum to emphasize the values of religious humanism and tabayyun literacy. The synergy between technological advancements and moral strength is the main key to maintaining the relevance of Islamic education in the future without losing its spiritual essence.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the synergy between emotional intelligence and religious moderation as fundamental pillars in shaping future global competencies. The research employs a qualitative approach using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, which involves identifying, selecting, and analyzing relevant academic literature. The findings indicate that emotional intelligence plays a crucial role in developing individuals’ ability to manage emotions, build empathy, and establish harmonious social relationships. Meanwhile, religious moderation serves as a value framework that emphasizes tolerance, balance, and respect for diversity. The synergy between these two aspects produces individuals who are not only capable of adapting to global dynamics but also able to uphold humanitarian values in social life. In the context of education, the integration of emotional intelligence and religious moderation has significant implications for character building and the development of students' global competencies. Therefore, strengthening these aspects is essential in addressing increasingly complex global challenges. This study is expected to provide a conceptual contribution to the development of character-based education and global competence.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Describe the implementation of the Deep Dialogue Critical Thinking (DDCT) learning model in learning fictional works of class VIII MTsN 3 Langkat. 2) Describe the learning motivation of students when following the learning process by teachers when using the Deep Dialogue Critical Thinking (DDCT) learning model. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects of this study were Indonesian Language Teachers of class VIII MTsN 3 Langkat. The research instruments used were observation, interviews, behavioral observation and questionnaires. The results of the study (1) The implementation of the DDCT model went well and was able to create active, dialogical learning, and supported the development of critical thinking skills of students in understanding and writing fictional work review texts, (2) The learning motivation of students during learning using the Deep Dialogue Critical Thinking (DDCT) model in class VIII MTsN 3 Langkat showed a positive tendency in all aspects of learning motivation. It is hoped that the results of this study will be useful for educators, students, and further research who want to implement learning models to encourage student learning motivation.
