Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the basic teaching at SD IT Qurrota A’yun descriptively. The background of this study is the finding that some theachers have not fully mastered basic teaching skills, such as sub-optimal opening of lessons, lack of media variation, and insufficient reinforcement. The approach used is a quantitative descriptive method through a survey. The population and sample consisted of all class and subject teachers at SD IT Qurrota A'yun using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire based on Hamzah B. Uno's eight indicators of basic teaching skills. The results showed that the teachers' mastery of basic teaching skills was in the "Almost Entirely" category, with a total average percentage of 84%. The most dominant skills were classroom management (89%) and providing reinforcement (88%), while the skill of opening lessons received the lowest percentage (77%). In conclusion, teachers have demonstrated good mastery of teaching skills, though improvements are needed in explicitly opening lessons, providing learning variations, and guiding small group discussions.

This study aims to describe the implementation of the educational supervision development program in improving teacher professional development at SMP Negeri 1 Maliku. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to understand the supervision process comprehensively and contextually. The study was conducted from March to April 2026, with the school principal as the main subject. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of supervision has shifted from a conventional system to a more structured and technology-based system through online applications. The supervision process includes planning, classroom observation, reflection, feedback, and continuous evaluation. Supervision is more oriented toward coaching rather than assessment, although it is integrated with performance appraisal systems. The findings also indicate that supervision has a positive impact on teacher professionalism, particularly in improving teaching methods and learning planning. However, several challenges were identified, including differences in perception, limited number of supervisors, and lack of formal training. Overall, the implementation of supervision is considered quite effective but still requires improvement in mentoring, training, and system understanding to optimize teacher professional development.

This study aims to determine the effect of the number wheel media on students' learning activity in mathematical addition operations at Muslim Suksa School Thailand. The background of this study is the low learning activity of students in mathematics learning, especially in the material of addition operations, so that interesting and innovative learning media are needed to increase student involvement. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method, using a pre-test and post-test design for one group. The sample in this study amounted to 20 students. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, while data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics with paired sample t-test. The results of the study showed that the average learning activity of students before using the number wheel media was 16.00, while after the application of the number wheel media increased to 24.10. The results of the normality test showed that the data were normally distributed with a significance value of more than 0.05. Furthermore, the results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 <0.05. Therefore, there is a significant influence between the use of number wheel media on student learning activity. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is an influence of number wheel media on student learning activity in mathematical addition operations at Muslim Suksa School, Thailand. Therefore, the use of innovative and interactive learning media is highly recommended to improve the quality of mathematics learning.

This research is motivated by the low level of active participation and understanding among students in science learning, especially the material "Me and My Needs" in grade 4 of elementary school. The limitations of interactive and innovative learning media make the learning process less interesting and less meaningful for students. The purpose of this research is to develop a digital learning media based on the Jumanji game that is feasible and practical for use in science learning. This research applies the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects included fourth grade students and teachers from three elementary schools in Cluster IX, Buleleng District. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, expert validation, and practicality testing. The instruments used were validation sheets from media, material, and language experts, as well as teacher and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the developed digital learning media based on the Jumanji game obtained very high validity scores from media experts (0.95), material experts (0.94), and language experts (0.92). Furthermore, the results of the practicality test showed that the media was highly practical and capable of increasing active student participation. Therefore, the Jumanji game-based digital learning media is a viable, innovative alternative in science learning to increase student engagement and understanding.

Social empathy is the ability to understand and feel the conditions of others, which plays an important role in supporting the learning process, especially in characterbased subjects such as Pancasila Education. However, students’ social empathy in the field is still relatively low, in line with their low learning outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of a role-playing method based on the Tat Twam Asi concept on students’ social empathy and learning outcomes. This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method (pretestposttest control group design) involving 41 fifth-grade students of SDN Gugus I Karangasem as the research subjects. Data were collected through questionnaires and learning outcomes tests and analyzed using MANOVA. The results showed a significant simultaneous effect (p < 0.05), with social empathy increasing from 40.82 to 61.68 and learning outcomes from 49.09 to 82.05. Thus, the method is effective in improving students’ social empathy and learning outcomes.

The problem in this research is the low critical thinking ability of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Metro Utara. The objective of this research is to describe and analyze the influence of the cooperative learning model types Jigsaw and Teams Games Tournament on the improvement of critical thinking among fourth-grade elementary school students, and to determine the difference in the improvement of critical thinking using the Jigsaw model and the Teams Games Tournament model. This research is quantitative in type, using a quasi-experimental method. The research design used is a non-equivalent control group. The sampling technique employed is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. The population used in this research is all fourth-grade classes at SD Negeri 1 Metro Utara. The research samples are: IVA class as the experimental class, IVB class as the control class, and IVC class as the instrument testing class. The total sample for IVA and IVB classes is 58 students. The data collection technique uses test and non-test methods. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression testing and independent sample T-test. The research results show a significant influence on the cooperative learning model type Jigsaw, with a calculated F-value of 243,498 > F-table of 4.19, while for the Teams Games Tournament model, the calculated F-value is 55,709 > F-table of 4.19. There is a significant difference between the models, as indicated by a calculated t-value of 0.010 < t-table of 0.05.

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile through co-curricular activities at SMP Negeri 23 Palembang. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with teachers and students as subjects. Data collection techniques included interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) was integrated into project-based co-curricular activities. This activity had a positive impact on students, particularly in improving cooperation, courage to express opinions, and critical thinking skills. Students also showed a positive response to the contextual nature of the activities. However, implementation still faced obstacles such as time constraints and differing perceptions among teachers. Therefore, better planning and coordination are needed to ensure optimal implementation. These findings indicate that project-based cocurricular activities not only function as supporting activities, but also serve as an effective learning strategy to internalize the values of the Pancasila Student Profile in a more contextual and meaningful way for students.

The advancement of technology in the office sector has brought significant changes to employee work methods and administrative procedures. Office machines, as a form of modern technology, play a crucial role in enhancing efficiency and productivity within the office environment. This article comprehensively discusses the impact of office machine usage on employee work productivity, focusing on the benefits gained, changes in work procedures, the role of modern technology and ergonomics, as well as the challenges and drawbacks encountered during implementation. The use of office machines has been proven to accelerate the completion of administrative tasks, improve accuracy and quality of work output, and facilitate communication and coordination among departments. Additionally, the application of ergonomic principles in the use of office machines contributes to increased comfort and health of employees, which indirectly boosts motivation and performance. However, the implementation of office machines also faces various obstacles such as resistance to change, the need for training, acquisition and maintenance costs, and data security risks. Therefore, organizations need to manage the use of office machines optimally by considering technical aspects, human resources, and organizational culture to maximize benefits and minimize risks. This article aims to provide insights for practitioners and academics in understanding and managing office technology to sustainably improve work productivity.

The Simple Economic Literacy Tutoring Program for children in Rejo Mulyo Hamlet was initiated in response to the low level of understanding among children regarding basic economic concepts that are closely related to their daily lives. Many children are still unfamiliar with various professions, the process of earning money through work, and the distinction between goods and services. This lack of early exposure often causes them to perceive econom ic activities as distant and difficult to comprehend. To address this issue, the program was implemented as a nonformal educational initiative using fun, simple, and contextual learning methods such as storytelling, drawing, and interactive discussions. Through these activities, children were encouraged to imagine their dream jobs, think critically, and relate economic concepts to their real-life experiences. The results show that the program successfully enhanced children’s curiosity, understanding of economic roles, and positive attitudes toward economic activities in their surroundings. Overall, this initiative demonstrates that early economic literacy education can strengthen children’s foundational knowledge and life skills, supporting their readiness for future learning and social development

This study aims to analyze students’ interest in learning economics in grade X at SMA Negeri 13 Merangin. Student interest plays an important role in determining learning success, particularly in subjects that require conceptual understanding such as economics. This research employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The population consisted of all grade X students of SMA Negeri 13 Merangin, with samples selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results indicate that students’ interest in learning economics is categorized as moderate. Factors influencing student interest include teaching methods, learning media, teacher student interaction, and the relevance of learning materials to daily life. These findings suggest the need for innovative teaching strategies to improve students’ interest in learning economics.
