Abstract

This study seeks to examine the application of written operational guidelines in relation to occupational safety within gas station environments (SPBU). Such workplaces are classified as high-risk areas due to their susceptibility to fires, explosions, and exposure to hazardous materials. Consequently, strict adherence to these operational directives plays a crucial role in minimizing workplace accidents. The research adopts a descriptive quantitative design, gathering data through questionnaires distributed to gas station operators and field observations regarding the execution of operational protocols.The results reveal that consistent implementation of these guidelines significantly enhances workplace safety, particularly in accident prevention, the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and operator vigilance in identifying potential hazards. Moreover, the existence of these structured procedures contributes to a more orderly working atmosphere, reduces human errors, and strengthens customer safety. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including insufficient managerial oversight, low employee awareness, and limited availability of safety equipment at certain stations. Therefore, these operational frameworks should not merely function as formal documents but need to be embedded into the organizational culture to sustain long-term workplace safety.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using puzzle learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of Kaluku Bodoa Elementary School. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, namely a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of 62 students consisting of the experimental class and the control class. Data collection techniques used pretest and posttest tests. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class increased from 64.35 to 81.61, while the control class increased from 58.06 to 67.26. The results of the hypothesis test showed a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, meaning that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted, so there was a significant effect of using puzzle media on students' mathematics learning outcomes. Thus, puzzle media can improve student activity, conceptual understanding, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Positive interaction between teachers and students is key to enhancing the development of children's brain synapses during the golden age. The purpose of this study is to explain how the Teaching Pyramid Model (TPM) is applied at TK PGRI Tunas 83 to create positive interactions between teachers and students. The main issues underlying this study are the still-dominant egocentric attitudes, lack of independence, and lack of student discipline in interactions. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach and a case study. Data were collected through documentation of learning strategies that utilize sensory, emotional, and environmental stimulation, as well as participatory observation. The research results show that the use of basic TPM levels through care and responsive interactions supported by an inclusive classroom environment successfully reduces interaction conflicts. It has been proven that using number pyramids (dice games) and sensory media (texture exploration) can increase interaction activity, counting skills, and children's critical thinking abilities. According to neuroscience-based developmental analysis, this supportive learning environment has the ability to provide emotional stability and cognitive readiness to students. The research results indicate that TPM is an integral approach that is useful for building discipline character and good social interactions in early childhood education.

Abstract

The management of credit data in banking institutions requires high accuracy and precision to ensure smooth services and minimize administrative errors. One of the efforts carried out by Bank Unit Bangko Kota is the separation of collateral (agunan) and BRIMEN (BRI Management System) as part of a strategy to improve the quality of credit data. This study aims to analyze the process of collateral and BRIMEN separation, as well as its contribution to enhancing credit data accuracy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, through direct observation, interviews with related employees, and documentation. The results indicate that the separation of collateral and BRIMEN provides positive impacts in facilitating identification, recording, and storage of credit files. In addition, this step reduces the potential for data duplication, accelerates the verification process, and increases customer trust in the quality of banking services. Therefore, the implementation of collateral and BRIMEN separation at Bank Unit Bangko Kota is proven to be an effective strategy in supporting the improvement of credit data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using animated video learning media on the sciense learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at UPT SDN No. 78 Balang, Takalar Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method using a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study consisted of all 43 fourth-grade students, and the entire population of this study consisted of all 43 fourth-grade students, and the entire population was used as the sample. Data collection techniques included learning outcome test (pre-test and post-test) and observation. The data were analyzed usinng descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis through a paired sample t-test.The results showed that the mean pre-test score of students was 61,16, while the mean post-test score increased to 75, 93 after the implementation of animated video learnig media. This improvement indicates a change in students learning outcomes after the treatment was applied during the learning process. The t-test results revealed a t-value of -18,134 with a degree of freedom (df) of 42 and a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0,001 <0,05. This indicates a significant difference between pre-test and post-test results.Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of animated video learning media has a possitive and significant effect on improving the science learnig outcomes of fourth-grade studentsat UPT SDN No. 78 Balang, Galesong Selatan District, Takalar Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of audio-visual media in improving students’ conceptual understanding and practical worship skills in fiqh learning at MTs Manbaul Ulum Jampangtengah. The background of this study is based on the low level of students’ understanding of fiqh materials, which tend to be abstract, as well as the dominance of lecture-based teaching methods in the learning process. This study employed a qualitative approach supported by descriptive quantitative analysis. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, conceptual understanding tests, and worship practice assessments involving 28 eighth-grade students. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive analysis model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, supported by a comparison of students’ achievement before and after the implementation of audio-visual media. The findings show that the use of audio-visual media improved students’ conceptual understanding from an average of 61.6% to 84.6%. In addition, students’ worship practice skills increased from 60% to 87.3%. Audio-visual media helped students transform abstract concepts into more concrete understanding through visual demonstrations and systematic audio explanations. The use of this media also increased students’ attention, participation, and learning motivation, making the learning process more interactive. Therefore, audio-visual media proved to be an effective strategy in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding and worship practice skills in fiqh learning at Islamic junior high schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning evaluation, which tends to be dominated by written cognitive tests, thus failing to capture students' actual competencies in the psychomotor and affective aspects, particularly in worship practices. The objectives of this study were: (1) Analyze the need for authentic assessment instruments at SMP Negeri 1 Malo; (2) Construct valid and reliable authentic assessment instruments to evaluate worship practices; and (3) Test the effectiveness of these instruments in improving the accuracy of teacher assessments. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with a simplified Borg & Gall development model, encompassing preliminary study, planning, product draft development, expert validation (materials and evaluation), field trials, and final product revision. The subjects of this study were seventh/eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Malo and the PAI subject teachers who used the instruments. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires, and analyzed descriptively using qualitative and quantitative methods. The research results indicate that the developed authentic assessment instrument, consisting of a performance observation sheet, self-assessment, and peer- assessment, was constructed using a measurable assessment rubric. Expert validation results indicated that the instrument was categorized as "Very Suitable." The implementation of this instrument at SMP Negeri 1 Malo proved to provide a more objective picture of students' religious practice abilities (such as prayer, Quranic reading and writing, and ablution) compared to conventional evaluation methods. This research contributes to enriching the repertoire of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) education evaluations, making them more holistic and applicable at the junior high school level. Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of Aqidah Akhlak learning in fostering students’ religious attitudes at MTs Manbaul Ulum Jampangtengah. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research participants consisted of the Aqidah Akhlak teacher, the school principal, and selected students chosen purposively. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis followed an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with credibility ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that Aqidah Akhlak learning is effective in fostering students’ religious attitudes through the integration of cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions. The cognitive dimension is reflected in students’ understanding of faith and moral concepts; the affective dimension is shown in increased awareness and commitment to religious practices; and the behavioral dimension is evident in daily religious practices and respectful social interactions. The main supporting factors include teacher role modeling, a religious school culture, and parental support, while inhibiting factors include limited instructional time and unsupportive family backgrounds. Theoretically, these findings reinforce the notion that religious education contributes to the development of students’ self-regulation and social-emotional competencies. Therefore, improving the effectiveness of Aqidah Akhlak learning requires a holistic approach involving synergy among teachers, schools, and families.

Abstract

Science learning that remains one-directional causes students' active involvement in constructing knowledge to be less than optimal, resulting in low conceptual understanding and Science Process Skills. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on Newton's Laws material through the implementation of the Structured Inquiry learning model. A quantitative Pre-Experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design was employed, involving 34 seventh-grade students at the junior high school level. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and an ARCS model motivation questionnaire, then analyzed using N-Gain calculations and the Wilcoxon test. The findings indicate that the majority of students achieved either a high or moderate N-Gain category, with no students falling into the low category. The Wilcoxon test confirmed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, and student learning motivation as a whole was classified as excellent. Therefore, the Structured Inquiry learning model is proven effective in improving both student learning outcomes and motivation, as it provides opportunities for students to construct their own knowledge through guided and systematic inquiry steps.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between teaching styles and classroom interaction on students' learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Lilin. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 72 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through teaching style questionnaires, classroom interaction questionnaires, and students' academic records. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistics, including Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression. The results show that: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between teaching style and learning outcomes; (2) classroom interaction is positively and significantly related to learning outcomes; and (3) teaching style and classroom interaction simultaneously have a significant effect on learning outcomes, contributing 62%. These findings indicate that learning quality is strongly influenced by pedagogical strategies and classroom interaction dynamics.
