Abstract

This research seeks to explore the application of digital technology in enhancing inclusive learning for students with special needs at the elementary school level. A qualitative research method is used through a review of literature by examining pertinent scientific studies published in the past decade. Results reveal that digital tools like interactive educational apps, audio-visual resources, and assistive technologies (including text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and screen reading software) significantly contribute to better accessibility, comprehension, and motivation for learning among students with special needs. Additionally, employing the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) frameworks allows educators to create flexible and student- focused learning environments. Nevertheless, real-world application encounters obstacles such as inadequate infrastructure, unequal access to technological resources, and low digital proficiency among teachers. As a result, coordinated initiatives, including thorough training for educators, creation of inclusive digital educational tools, and robust policy endorsement, are essential. Effective incorporation of digital technology has the potential to promote more efficient, fair, and adaptive inclusive education for a variety of learners

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of evaluating student satisfaction with the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) in elementary schools, as students’ perceptions play a crucial role in determining the effectiveness of the program beyond mere food provision. The objective of this research is to analyze the level of student satisfaction with the MBG program at SDN 3 Haurpanggung. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach with a survey design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 91 students from grades IV, V, and VI, selected using random sampling based on the Slovin formula. The instrument used a Likert scale covering aspects such as taste, cleanliness, menu variation, portion size, and timeliness of food distribution. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques, including percentages and mean scores. The results indicate that the majority of students expressed satisfaction, with 63.74% categorized as satisfied and 18.68% as very satisfied, while no respondents reported dissatisfaction. The mean score of 3.63 reflects a generally positive perception of the program. It is recommended that future improvements focus on enhancing menu variation and food presentation, while further studies should examine the program’s impact on students’ nutritional status and academic outcomes.

Abstract

At the primary school stage, having a strong vocabulary is essential for enhancing kids' language skills. However, in practice, vocabulary learning, especially connotative meaning in Grade V, is still mostly carried out using conventional methods such as textbooks and lectures. This condition tends to reduce students’ participation, interest, and motivation, which affects their understanding of connotative vocabulary. To address this issue, there is a need for creative and interactive online learning materials to establish a more captivating educational setting. The goal of this project is to develop an e-comic as an educational resource to improve students' understanding of connotative language and to evaluate its effectiveness, practicality, and credibility. The study employs the ADDIE framework along with the Research and Development approach. Expert assessment forms were utilized to collect information, surveys for teachers and students were employed to measure feasibility, and the N-Gain formula was applied to assess the effectiveness of the pretest and posttest outcomes. The findings indicate that the e-comic is very effective, earning ratings of 96% for content, 96% for media, and 88% for language features. It is also highly practical, with 100% from teachers and 98% from students. The score from the effectiveness test, known as the N-Gain score, is 0.7542, which puts it among the highest levels. So, the e-comic works well as a learning tool for fifth-grade elementary students.

Abstract

Clinics are healthcare facilities that provide medical services to the community. This study aims to analyze the influence of workplace environmental health conditions, healthcare service quality, and human resource (HR) competence on patient satisfaction at Evi Primary Clinic. Despite being accredited and having a strong vision, the clinic still receives complaints regarding suboptimal services and facilities.Using a quantitative analytic correlational design with a cross-sectional approach, this study examined variable relationships at a single point in time. The population included all patients visiting the clinic within one month, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews. A total sampling technique was applied, and the data were analyzed using univariate, bivariate (Chi-Square), and multivariate (Discriminant Analysis) methods. Results show that HR competence significantly influences healthcare service quality, with a coefficient of 0.806 (p = 0.000), and also impacts patient satisfaction (coefficient 0.609; p = 0.000). Most respondents (62.8%) rated HR competence as fair, and 19.9% as good. Workplace environmental conditions and health facilities also significantly influence service quality (coefficient 0.639; p = 0.000) and patient satisfaction (coefficient 0.527; p = 0.000). Multivariate analysis further revealed that facilities affect service quality with a coefficient of 0.748.In conclusion, HR competence, healthcare facilities, and service quality all significantly affect patient satisfaction. A comprehensive approach is needed to enhance staff competence, improve infrastructure, and optimize service procedures. These strategies are essential for achieving high patient satisfaction and realizing the clinic’s mission of delivering excellent healthcare.

Abstract

Student participation in group discussions is an important indicator for creating active and collaborative learning in elementary schools. In fifth grade students at Muhammadiyah 1 Limboto Elementary School, there is still an imbalance in participation, where only a small number of students actively dominate discussions, while the majority tend to be passive due to internal factors such as low self-confidence, limited speaking skills, and differences in understanding of the material, as well as external factors such as group dynamics and teacher management. This study aims to analyze student participation in group discussions and the factors that influence it. The study used a case study approach with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted descriptively qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification, as well as triangulation to ensure data validity. The results showed that student participation was not optimal, with low verbal levels and nonverbal/social dominance, influenced by the interaction of internal and external factors. Teacher efforts were effective through role allocation, creating a safe atmosphere, and motivation, although they need to be improved for equitable involvement. Student participation in fifth grade students at Muhammadiyah 1 Limboto Elementary School reflects psychological and social challenges that can be overcome with a systematic and inclusive teacher facilitative approach.
