Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola makan dan aktivitas fisik terhadap tingkat kecerdasan (IQ) pada siswa kelas atas sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional yang menghubungkan tiga variabel yaitu pola makan, aktivitas fisik, dan IQ. Instrument yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner (FFQ) untuk variabel pola makan dan kuesioner (PAQ-C) untuk variabel aktivitas fisik, serta tes CPM untuk variabel IQ. Dengan total populasi dan sampel sebanyak 122 siswa yang dilakukan di dua sekolah yaitu, SDN Gunungpati 01 dan SDN Gunungpati 03 Kota Semarang. Hasil analisis berdasarkan uji Chi-Square dengan nilai signifikansi (p<0,05) membuktikan bahwa siswa dengan pola makan dan aktivitas fisik yang baik cenderung memiliki IQ di atas rata-rata, dan siswa dengan pola makan dan aktivitas fisik yang kurang baik cenderung memiliki IQ di bawah rata-rata. Kesimpulannya, pola makan dan aktivitas fisik sangat berpengaruh pada tingkat kecerdasan (IQ) siswa kelas atas sekolah dasar.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study discusses the "application of the Example Non-Example learning method in Islamic Religious Education subjects in class VII.5 SMA Negeri 1 Jeneponto. This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students who are still far from the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). This study aims to describe the application of the Example Non-Example method in improving student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by referring to the Jhon Ellio model which consists of two cycles each at the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects in this study were students of class VII.5 SMA Negeri 1 Jeneponto with a total of 31 students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, tests and documentation. While the data analysis used is quantitative data analysis and qualitative data. The results of the study show that the application of the Example Non-Example learning method significantly improves student learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle stage, the average score was only 61.67 with a mastery percentage of 25.80% (Very Poor category). In Cycle I, the average score increased to 71.80 with a mastery percentage of 51.61% (Poor category). The improvement continued in Cycle II, where the average score reached 84.25 with a mastery percentage of 83.87% (Good category). The implementation of the Examples Non Examples method proved to enhance students’ focus, concentration, active participation, classroom interaction, and appreciation of religious values. Therefore, the Examples Non Examples method is effective in improving both students’ learning outcomes and the quality of the Islamic Religious Education learning process in class VII.5 at SMA Negeri 1 Jeneponto. Abstract

Pro-environmental behaviour refers to actions taken by individuals or groups to reduce negative impacts on the environment and conserve natural resources, which can be seen from indicators of pro-environmental behaviour, such as recycling, environmentally responsible consumption, energy conservation, and transportation behaviour. This study focuses on further exploring the description of pro-environmental behaviour among the community in Kandangan Subdistrict. This study uses quantitative descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The population is 51,847 people, and a sample of 0.5% was taken with a 95% confidence level, resulting in a sample of 259 respondents. This sample size is also in accordance with the general sampling guidelines by Roscoe (1975) in Azwar (2017), which states that statistically, a sample size of more than 30 and less than 500 people is sufficiently representative. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using the Pro-Environmental Behaviour instrument, with the research focusing on four behavioural indicators that describe pro-environmental behaviour in the Kandangan sub-district community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of learning media on student learning outcomes at Imelda Private Senior High School, Medan. The background of the study is based on the importance of utilizing appropriate media in the learning process to improve student understanding and engagement. The use of effective learning media is expected to create a more interactive, engaging, and meaningful learning process. The research method used was quantitative with a quasiexperimental approach using a design with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The research sample consisted of students selected based on specific criteria in accordance with the research objectives. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical techniques to determine the relationships and influences between variables. The results showed that the use of learning media had a positive impact on student learning outcomes. This was evidenced by the results of the regression coefficient/t-test, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), and the N-Gain interpretation showed an average increase of 83.33%. Systematically designed learning media can improve student learning outcomes. Thus, optimal use of learning media can be an effective strategy in improving the quality of the learning process and outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of using a role-playing learning model assisted by audiovisual media on students’ negotiation text writing skills at grade X of MAN 2 Kota Padang. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of all grade X students of MAN 2 Kota Padang totaling 443 students, while the sample consisted of 32 students selected through purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a performance test in writing negotiation texts, assessed based on content, text structure, language features, and spelling. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, particularly paired sample t-test. The results showed that the mean score increased from 73.14 in the pretest to 79.00 in the posttest. The hypothesis testing indicated that there was a significant effect of using the role-playing learning model assisted by audiovisual media on students’ negotiation text writing skills. Therefore, this learning model is effective in improving students’ writing skills.

Abstract

This study, entitled "The Relationship between Peer Interaction and Social Behavior in 5-6 Year Old Children at TAHFIDZ AISYAH INTEGRATED TK, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency," uses a quantitative approach with a correlational approach. The sample size was 30 children, consisting of 15 boys and 15 girls. Data collection techniques used included direct observation at the school, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using reliability, normality, linearity, and hypothesis testing. The results showed a correlation coefficient between variables X and Y. The processed output showed a significance value of 0.634. Therefore, it can be said that the relationship between the two variables is significant or unidirectional, meaning there is a significant relationship between peer interaction and the social behavior of 5-6-year-old children at the Tahfidz Aisyah Integrated Kindergarten in Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Eco enzyme project on early childhood ecoliteracy behavior, particularly in the behavioral aspect. The research was conducted at TK Kurnia Wonorejo in Group B with a total of 26 children, using a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. Data were collected through behavioral observation using a frequency rating scale instrument that had been tested for validity and reliability. The treatment was conducted in four sessions through a series of Eco enzyme project activities, including the introduction of environmental concepts, eco enzyme production, observation of the fermentation process, and filtering and utilizing the eco enzyme results. The normality test indicated that the data were not normally distributed; therefore, data analysis was continued using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The analysis results showed a significance value of 0.004 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in children's ecoliteracy behavior before and after the treatment. Behavioral improvement was observed across all assessed items, with the most notable increase in children’s behavior of reminding peers to maintain environmental cleanliness. Thus, the Eco enzyme project has a positive effect on improving early childhood ecoliteracy behavior and can serve as a contextual and meaningful learning activity.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of narrative writing skills among fifth-grade students at SDN 18 Air Tawar Selatan in Padang, which was identified through field observations. The difficulties experienced included an inability to compose narrative texts in a coherent manner, unclear story elements, imperfect narrative text structure, and errors in language usage and spelling. To address these issues, this study aims to improve narrative writing skills by implementing the Picture and Picture learning model. The research design used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative and quantitative approach, conducted in two cycles encompassing the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through test and non-test techniques, with the research subjects consisting of the homeroom teacher and 15 fifth-grade students at SDN 18 Air Tawar Selatan. The research results indicate a significant improvement in various aspects, including the RPPM, which increased from 89,29% (B) to 96,43% (SB), teacher activity, which increased from 87,5% (B) to 97,92% (SB), and student activity, which also increased from 87,5% (B) to 97,92% (SB). Additionally, students’ narrative writing skills improved from 79,07% (C) to 88,75% (B). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Picture and Picture learning model is effective in improving narrative writing skills among fifth-grade students at SDN 18 Air Tawar Selatan in Padang City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of an environment-based ethnopedagogical approach in teaching poetry writing skills to tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Mutiara, Agam Regency. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving Indonesian language teachers and students as informants. The results indicate that the implementation of the environment-based ethnopedagogical approach consists of three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, the teacher designed learning tools by integrating local cultural values and environmental elements. In the implementation stage, students actively engaged in observing the school environment to generate ideas for writing poetry. In the evaluation stage, students’ works were assessed based on diction, imagery, creativity, and the integration of cultural and environmental values. The findings demonstrate that this approach enhances students’ creativity, engagement, and ability to express ideas in poetic form, while also fostering cultural awareness and environmental sensitivity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the project-based learning (PJBL) model on improving clean and healthy living behaviors through the "Healthy Is Fun" activity in children aged 5 to 6 years at Chandra Dimuka PKK Kindergarten. This study began with initial observations that showed that children aged 5-6 years still often choose unhealthy foods and dispose of waste in inappropriate places. This study used a quantitative approach with a single-group pre-posttest design. The subjects of this study consisted of 14 children in group B aged 5-6 years. The data collection technique used an observation table based on two PHBS indicators: choosing healthy and clean snacks and disposing of waste properly. The research procedure consisted of several stages: pretest, treatment, and posttest. The data were analyzed using statistical methods to determine whether there were differences in results before and after treatment. This study showed that there was an increase in clean and healthy living behaviors after using the project-based learning model. Thus, the project-based learning model through the "Healthy Is Fun" activity has a positive impact on improving clean and healthy living behaviors in children aged 5 to 6 years at the Chandra Dimuka PKK Kindergarten.
