Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in searching for references from classical yellow books (kitab kuning) during Bahtsul Masa'il forums at the Lembaga Bahtsul Masa'il (LBM) of Pondok Pesantren Modern (PPM) Al-Rifa'ie 2, Gondanglegi, Malang. As a modern pesantren that actively organizes Bahtsul Masa'il, LBM PPM Al-Rifa'ie 2 often faces time constraints in locating legal evidences (dalil) from classical Arabic texts. The research employs a qualitative descriptive-analytic approach, with data collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with 10 informants (3 mushahih, 5 senior santri, and 2 LBM administrators), and documentation of AI search outputs during the January–March 2026 period. Results indicate that AI tools (such as Grok, ChatGPT, Gemini, and local applications) enhance search speed by 80–90% for basic queries and support semantic cross-referencing across books (e.g., Fathul Qarib, Taqrib, Mahalli). However, effectiveness is limited by risks of hallucination, inability to grasp deep nuances of qiyas and istinbāṭ, and constraints on rare texts. These findings align with the 2023 Munas Alim Ulama NU decision, which permits consulting AI as an initial reference but prohibits its use as a fatwa guideline due to its ghairu mautsuq bih (unverifiable) nature. The study concludes that AI functions optimally as a pre-discussion aid, not a substitute for ulama authority and taqrīr jamā'ī. Recommendations include developing RAG systems specialized for pesantren yellow books and ethics guidelines grounded in scholarly adab.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Standar Kompetensi Lulusan (SKL) dan Standar Isi (SI) pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar dalam kerangka Kurikulum Merdeka. Permasalahan yang dikaji adalah belum optimalnya integrasi antara capaian pembelajaran dengan praktik pembelajaran di kelas, yang berdampak pada pencapaian kompetensi peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan studi dokumentasi pada empat sekolah dasar, yaitu SDN 2 Petiga, SDN 25 Cakranegara, SD IT Al-Farih, dan SDN 17 Woja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi SKL dan SI telah dilaksanakan secara terintegrasi melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler. Namun, terdapat variasi dalam penerapannya yang dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik sekolah, kesiapan guru, serta ketersediaan sumber daya. Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan fleksibilitas bagi sekolah untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan berpusat pada peserta didik, sehingga mendukung pengembangan kompetensi secara holistik yang mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Selain itu, implementasi tersebut berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, seperti berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. Meskipun demikian, masih diperlukan peningkatan kapasitas guru dan dukungan institusi untuk memastikan konsistensi implementasi secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ understanding of social studies concepts through the implementation of the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT). The background of this research is the low level of students’ conceptual understanding in social studies learning. The subjects of this study were 32 fourth-grade students of SDS Khusus Insan Harapan. This research employed a Classroom Action Research design based on Kemmis and McTaggart, conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data were collected through tests, observation, and documentation. The results showed that students’ learning mastery improved from 63% in the first cycle to 84% in the second cycle, achieving the success indicator of at least 80% of students reaching the minimum mastery criteria. In addition, teacher performance increased from 91% to 100%, and students’ learning activities improved from 73% to 98%. These findings indicate that the implementation of the TGT model is effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding, learning activities, and the quality of the learning process in social studies.

Abstract

The purpose of this learning research was to improve the reading skills of third-grade students at SD Inpres Ajaobtomas, who were taught using posters. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each cycle using posters. The subjects were 25 third-grade students. Data collection used observation and testes. The results showed that the implementation of posters had a positive impact on students’ reading skills. In the pretest, the average student score was 40.4, with 12% of students achieving the Minimum Competency (KKM). After the implementation of posters, there was an increase in scores on the, with the average student score reaching 61.08, with 25% achieving the KKM. In the second cycle, the average student score increased to 83.84, with 96% of student achieving the KKM. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of posters can improve the reading skills of third-grade students at SD Inpres Ajaobtomas.

Abstract

Pancasila-based economics is a fundamental framework in shaping a just and equitable economic system oriented toward collective welfare. Cooperatives, as the embodiment of economic democracy, play a strategic role in implementing Pancasila values in economic activities. However, the dynamics of modern economic practices and organizational constraints often influence the optimal realization of these values. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila economic values in the management of Koperasi Tri Civitas, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation involving supervisors, administrators, employees, and cooperative members. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of Pancasila values has been carried out in various aspects of cooperative management. The value of divinity is reflected in honesty, trustworthiness, and responsibility in financial management. The value of mutual cooperation is evident in collaboration among members and administrators. The value of kinship is shown through harmonious relationships and open communication, while the value of justice is implemented proportionally based on members’ contributions. Furthermore, the principles of Pancasila economics are applied through non-discriminatory services and the distribution of surplus (SHU) based on participation levels. Despite these efforts, challenges such as low member participation and limited managerial time remain. Therefore, strengthening the implementation of Pancasila economics is necessary to achieve more optimal cooperative performance.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period experienced by every individual. The span of adolescence is 14-17 years. Cultural diversity in today’s society can potentially be an intervention strategy in addressing problematic adolescent behavior. This id influenced by counselors’ attachment to their own attributes. This approach is a framework that counselors use to understand and respond to cultural diversity in counseling.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) policy launched by the Indonesian government in early 2025 is one of the strategic programs in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025–2029. This program aims to improve the nutritional status of school-age children, pregnant women, and toddlers as a long-term investment in the development of quality human resources. This article examines the implementation of the MBG policy using a public policy analysis approach with a systematic literature review method. Data were collected from various scientific journals, government reports, and policy documents published between 2021 and 2026. The results of the study show that the MBG program has significant potential in improving student learning achievement and concentration, reducing stunting rates, and encouraging local economic growth through the involvement of SMEs and local farmers. However, the implementation of this program faces various challenges, including limited distribution infrastructure, regional capacity gaps, potential budget leakage, and lack of cross-sector coordination. Policy implications from these findings include the need for strengthened governance, development of program management human resources, and integration of MBG within a comprehensive national education system policy framework. This research confirms that the success of MBG is highly dependent on synergy between the central government, regional governments, the private sector, and the community in a holistic educational ecosystem.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how students use HOTS Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) when learning mathematics using the Independent Curriculum. "Twenty-five students of class XII IPA MA Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung became the subjects of this qualitative descriptive study. In-depth interviews and HOTS-based tests were used to collect data. The Miles HOTS Huberman model was used in the data analysis process, which includes data reduction, data presentation, HOTS conclusion drawing". According to the findings, 24% of students are included in the high group, 48% in the middle category, HOTS 28% in the low category. All indicators of HOTS analysis, assessment, HOTS creation are filled by highly capable students. Students in the middle group, on the other hand, are able to understand the problem but have difficulty in assessing HOTS development solutions. Low-ability students show significant challenges in understanding HOTS problems and choosing the right solution. These results indicate that students' HOTS skills are still below the HOTS standard and require improvement by using appropriate teaching methods.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual learning model on the metacognitive ability and emotional intelligence of eighth-grade students at MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung. This study was driven by the low metacognitive ability and emotional intelligence observed among students, as indicated by pre-research scores. This condition was mainly influenced by conventional learning processes that lacked active student participation, thus necessitating a contextual innovation to enhance more active, meaningful, and sustainable engagement. The research method used was a quasi-experimental approach with a posttest-only control design. The research sample was obtained using cluster random sampling, involving two classes, namely class VIII A as the experimental class, which implemented the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual learning model, and class VIII B as the control class, which applied the Discovery Learning model. The instruments used in this study consisted of essay questions to measure metacognitive ability and a questionnaire to assess emotional intelligence. The data analysis technique employed was the Independent Sample T-Test. Based on the hypothesis testing results, the Sig. (2-tailed) value obtained was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the implementation of the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual learning model had a significant effect on improving students’ metacognitive ability and emotional intelligence at MTsN 1 Bandar Lampung. Therefore, the Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual learning model is effective in enhancing metacognitive ability and emotional intelligence.

Abstract

Character education based on Islamic values ​​needs to be integrated with global educational principles to develop a superior generation. This study aims to determine the application of Islamic values ​​in learning activities at SMP IT Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Karawang, identify its integration with global educational principles, and assess the impact of religious activities on student character development. The research method used participatory observation of morning and evening dhikr activities, congregational prayer, halaqah (Islamic circle), the habit of wearing Islamic dress, and the Quran memorization program. The results indicate that the integration of Islamic values ​​with global educational principles creates a balance between students' spiritual, emotional, and intellectual intelligence. Students develop characters of faith, noble character, discipline, collaboration, and openness to the world. These findings emphasize the importance of developing interactive and collaborative learning methods that instill Islamic values ​​and 21st-century competencies. Recommendations for this study include increasing the integration of spiritual values ​​in learning, developing interactive methods, and collaborating with schools, teachers, parents, and the community to shape students' holistic character.
