Abstract

Tujuan dari studi kasus ini untuk melihat cara guru mengkonstruksi lingkungan belajar dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar IPA. Sampel dalam studi kasus ini adalah guru biologi SMP kelas IX dan siswa SMP kelas IX. Data diambil dengan cara observasi selama proses pembelajaran dan pemberian angket konstruksi belajar dan angket motivasi siswa dalam belajar IPA. Berdasarkan hasil observasi proses pembelajaran ditemukankan bahwa ketika guru mengajar di kelas, tidak sesuai dengan RPP yang dibuat. Untuk hasil observasi konstruksi lingkungan belajar pada aspek properti kelas, proses kelas, dan struktur kelas ditemukan bahwa guru tidak mengkaitkan antara materi yang sedang dipelajari dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa, belajar tidak kontekstual dan lebih konseptual. Selain itu, tidak ada penguatan yang diberikan kepada siswa, apakah siswa sudah benar-benar memahami materi tersebut atau belum. Dari hasil angket konstruksi belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam mengkonstruksi lingkungan belajar perlu ada komunikasi antara siswa dan guru agar tercipta lingkungan belajar yang sesuai untuk tujuan pembelajaran baik untuk masa sekarang, masa akan datang dan berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Lingkungan belajar yang kondusif akan meMotivasi siswa dalam belajar sehingga belajar menjadi lebih bermakna dan menyenangkan bagi siswa.

Abstract

Discovery learning model is one model that can increase student activity in the learning process so that students seek and find their own knowledge. This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning model on the cognitive improvement of students on Biology material in X class. Research method used in this research is quasi experiment with research design of Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The population in the study consisted of 5 classes totaling 256 students. Sampling is used by using simple random sampling technique. The sample of this study is X MIA 1 class as experiment amounted to 37 and X MIA 3 class as the control class amounted to 45 students. In the learning process, the experimental class is treated by using discovery learning model and control class is taught with conventional model. The results of this study indicate that the average Ngain of the experimental class is 0.56 which is in the medium category and the average N-gain for the control class is 0.30 which belongs to the low category. Data analysis using t-test with significant level 0,05 obtained tarithmetic = 7,470 while t-table = 1,667 seen that t-arithmetic> t-table. This can be seen from the calculation of cognitive t-test showed students sig. t-arithmetic 0.000 <0,05, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The result of the analysis of the average increase of cognitive completeness of the experimental students. In the experimental class reaches 32.65% while the cognitive students in the control class is 12.42% which means that the cognitive of the experimental class is higher than the control class instudent's cognitive. Thus, it can be deduced that the Disccovery learning model has an effect on the students’ cognitive improvement on X class student biology material.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran hybrid learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa semester IV Prodi Pendidikan Matematika STKIP PGRI Sumenep. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes uraian dengan level HOTS. Data hasil penelitian di analisis menggunakan uji independent sample t test setelah sebelumnya dilakukan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar  yang artinya model pembelajaran hybrid learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student team achievement division pada keterampilan proses sains peserta didik diarahkan untuk menemukan sendiri berbagai fakta, membangun konsep, motivasi dan kerjasama dalam kelompok, memudahkan pemecahan masalah baik dalam pembelajaran sains maupun sosial. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keterampilan proses sains peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student team achievement division materi struktur dan fungsi tumbuhan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Muaradua Kisam sebanyak 98 orang. Sampel penelitian VIII.1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 50 peserta didik.Teknik sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian berupa uji normalitas dengan uji shapiro-wilk, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis dengan uji independent t test, serta uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkat secara signifikan terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik pada materi struktur dan fungsi tumbuhan dibuktikan dengan diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 berarti H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik pada materi struktur dan fungsi tumbuhan.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy competencies are fundamental competencies in the industrial era 5.0. Numeracy skills are also needed in trade, health, education, etc. Literacy skills are required to face global challenges, solve problems, make appropriate decisions, and understand natural and social phenomena. Literacy and numeracy skills are essential abilities and are the basis of education. This study aims to analyze the implementation of STEAM learning based on local wisdom and how it affects numeracy and literacy skills in elementary school level. This mixed-methods research uses a Sequential Exploratory model/design and data collection using observation, interviews, and tests. The results showed that teachers in implemented STEAM learning based on local wisdom according to the indicators: observation, new ideas, innovation, creativity, and society. In the process, the teacher integrates local wisdom values into learning in the last step, namely culture. The pre-test results showed 40% of students' completeness with an average score, while the post-test showed 80% of students' totality with an average score, increasing student learning outcomes in class IV elementary school. The results of the paired samples t-test also show a significance value, which means that STEAM learning based on local wisdom affects students' numeracy and literacy skills in fourth grade. It is hoped that literacy and numeracy will become supporting materials for strengthening the literacy movement the school has carried out. This article's literacy and numeracy applications will continue to develop and vary according to the diverse context of needs and socio-cultural conditions of schools.

Abstract

Service is seen as very useful and essential in improving the conditions and quality of society. This community service activity is in collaboration with the Batuan I Elementary School located in the village and sub-district of Batuan. Strengthening literacy and numeracy is a policy of the previous curricula, which is continued and strengthened in the independent curriculum. Some of the efforts to develop numeracy literacy skills at SDN Batuan I are by providing a reading corner, literacy tree, and student arrival hours. Efforts to develop numeracy literacy skills at SDN Batuan include providing a reading corner, literacy tree, and student arrival hours. One way to do this is by utilizing information and communication technology to create interactive learning media. In this community service program, the targets are SDN Batuan I teachers who still have difficulty utilizing information and communication technology as interactive media to support learning activities. In essence, this community service program solves the problems experienced by partners through workshops to train teachers' skills in making interactive media based on information and communication technology.

Abstract

Islamic education is an integral part of the identity of Muslims, therefore, an effective marketing strategy is needed to build progress and a strong image of the institution in society. This research aims to explore the marketing value contained in the Al-Qur'an and apply it in the context of Islamic education to strengthen the image and reputation of the progress of Islamic educational institutions. The research method uses a literature study approach with a focus on the Koran as the main source. The research stages include identifying relevant verses of the Koran, collecting in-depth Islamic literature, analyzing marketing values ​​in the Koran, as well as comparing them with modern marketing principles. The analysis results show that the Koran contains ethical values ​​such as honesty, trustworthiness, justice, and concern for consumers which can be adapted into Islamic education marketing strategies. The implication of this research is the preparation of marketing strategy recommendations based on Al-Qur'an values ​​to build a positive image and reputation for Islamic educational institutions. This study is expected to contribute to developing an understanding of the application of Al-Qur'an values ​​in the context of marketing Islamic education as well as providing practical guidance for decision-makers in utilizing the spiritual heritage of the Al-Qur'an for ethical and effective marketing purposes. The implications of this research are: 1) the importance of recommendations and testimonies, 2) teaching transparency and honesty, 3) service and quality, 4) community and social solidarity.

Abstract

The beverage industry currently continues to innovate to create unique and sustainable products. One interesting innovation is the development of the Tepache drink made from apple peel. Tepache is a traditional fermented drink from Mexico which is usually made from pineapple skin. However, in this innovation, apple skins are used as the main raw material to create tepache drinks which are rich in nutrients and environmentally friendly. The process of producing Tepache drinks from apple skins involves fermenting apple skins with sugar and natural yeast. During fermentation, microorganisms such as yeast and lactic acid bacteria convert sugars into organic acids, resulting in a refreshing slightly sour taste. Apple skin is rich in fiber, antioxidants, and phenolic compounds that provide additional health benefits to this drink. This innovation not only creates attractive beverage products, but also contributes to efforts to reduce apple peel waste which is often wasted. The use of apple peel as a raw material for Tepache drinks is a sustainable step in the beverage industry, as well as offering a healthy and environmentally friendly alternative drink.
