Abstract

Career planning is an important aspect that students need to develop starting from junior high school, as at this stage students begin to face choices regarding further education and future career directions. However, there are still students who do not yet have mature career planning, such as a lack of understanding and information about education and the world of work. Therefore, career guidance services in schools play an important role in helping students prepare their career planning optimally. This study aimed to determine the effect of career guidance services on the career planning of class IX F students at SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. This research was causal research using a descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of 29 students selected through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale. Data analysis employed Product Moment Correlation and the Coefficient of Determination. The results showed that career guidance services and students’ career planning were in the moderate category, with percentage ranges from 43.97% to 58.62%. Statistical analysis indicated a strong and significant relationship between the two variables, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.734 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Career guidance services contributed 53.9% to students’ career planning. The conclusion of this study indicates that the more optimal the career guidance services provided, the better the students’ career planning will be.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan teknologi digital dan live streaming terhadap minat beli mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Jambi pada platform e-commerce. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penjelasan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup menggunakan skala Likert 5 poin yang didistribusikan melalui Google Forms kepada 87 mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi angkatan 2023 Universitas Jambi. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda, uji t parsial, uji F simultan, dan koefisien determinasi (R²) dengan SPSS versi 27. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat beli mahasiswa dengan nilai t sebesar 5,009 > 1,662 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Live streaming juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat beli dengan nilai t sebesar 6,852 > 1,662 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Secara simultan, penggunaan teknologi digital dan live streaming berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat beli mahasiswa dengan nilai F sebesar 230,624 > 3,10 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,846, artinya 84,6% variasi minat beli dapat dijelaskan oleh penggunaan teknologi digital dan live streaming, sedangkan sisanya 15,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital dan live streaming merupakan faktor penting yang memengaruhi minat beli mahasiswa pada platform e-commerce.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of mathematics students in elementary school and the importance of using learning media that can help students understand mathematical concepts concretely. This study aims to determine the relationship between the use of manipulative media and students' mathematics learning outcomes based on MID scores at UPT SDN 18 Binamu. The research uses a quantitative approach with a type of correlational research. The research population was 15 students in grade VI with a sampling technique using total sampling. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire using manipulative media and documentation of students' mathematics MID scores. The research instrument is tested for validity and reliability before use. Data analysis was carried out using the JASP application through descriptive statistical analysis, Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed that the data was normally distributed with a significance value of 0.109 (p > 0.05). The results of the Pearson correlation test showed a correlation coefficient value of r = 0.952 with a significance value of p < 0.001. These results show that there is a very strong and significant positive relationship between the use of manipulative media and students' mathematics learning outcomes. The use of manipulative media helps students understand abstract mathematical concepts to become more concrete so that students are more active and easily understand the learning material. Thus, manipulative media can be used as an alternative learning medium to improve mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstract

Reading comprehension skills among elementary school students are still relatively low. Many students have difficulty understanding texts, identifying main ideas, and answering questions based on reading materials. This condition is influenced by low reading interest and less effective teaching methods. Therefore, an appropriate learning method is needed to help students read actively and systematically, one of which is the Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R) method. This study aims to analyze the use of the SQ3R method in improving elementary school students’ reading comprehension skills through a literature review. The research method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) model. Data sources were obtained from scientific articles published between 2016 and 2026 through Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar databases using the Publish or Perish application. A total of 40 relevant articles were identified and selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings indicate that the SQ3R method effectively improves reading comprehension skills, reading interest, student participation, and learning outcomes in elementary schools. Therefore, the SQ3R method can be used as an effective alternative learning strategy in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

The development of educational facilities and infrastructure is one of the essential factors in realizing excellent madrasahs capable of competing in the modern educational era. National policies through the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia have given significant attention to improving the quality of madrasah facilities and infrastructure through various programs such as SBSN funding assistance, madrasah digitalization, and strengthening school-based management. This study aims to analyze strategies for developing facilities and infrastructure in excellent madrasahs based on national policies using a literature study approach on various scientific journals published within the last five years. The results show that the development strategies are carried out through needs-based planning, optimization of infrastructure management, utilization of information technology, increased community participation, and government policy support through national funding programs. The implementation of these strategies has an impact on improving the quality of learning, public trust, and the competitiveness of madrasahs. However, several obstacles remain, including limited budgets, human resources, and unequal distribution of facilities among madrasahs. Therefore, synergy among the government, madrasah principals, teachers, and the community is needed in sustainable facilities and infrastructure development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implications of teacher certification on the quality of learning by examining pedagogical aspects and TPACK-based technology integration. The research was conducted at SDN 131 Palembang for 20 days using a qualitative approach with participant observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation methods. Observations were conducted to examine classroom interactions and the use of instructional technology. The findings indicate that certified teachers generally demonstrate good pedagogical competence and are able to create interactive learning environments. However, the implementation of TPACK varies, and not all teachers optimally integrate technology into their teaching practices. In addition to certification, factors such as teacher motivation, school environment, and facility support also influence learning quality. Therefore, teacher certification alone does not fully guarantee improved learning quality without continuous professional support.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a crucial 21st-century competency urgently needing development in elementary schools, given low national science literacy scores. This study examines the application of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) approach in improving students' critical thinking in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) adapted from PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Twenty articles published between 2021 and 2026 were selected from Google Scholar, Garuda, and DOAJ based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results indicate the STEAM approach consistently and significantly improves critical thinking, showing moderate to high effectiveness. Project-Based Learning (PjBL) was identified as the most effective model combined with STEAM. Furthermore, Engineering and Science elements dominantly drive analysis, evaluation, and inference indicators. The Art element functions as an affective catalyst strengthening motivation and problem-formulation skills. This study confirms STEAM is highly suitable for integration into IPAS due to its interdisciplinary nature, aligning with the Merdeka Curriculum. Nevertheless, challenges like limited teacher competence, facilities, and the need for structured critical thinking scaffolding must be addressed for optimal implementation

Abstract

This study aims to describe technology-based listening learning among fourth-grade students at SDN 64/I Muara Bulian, covering the implementation process, students' experiences, challenges, and supporting factors. A qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model, and validated through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that learning was conducted in a structured manner using audio-visual and interactive media. Students demonstrated high enthusiasm and active engagement, although both technical and non-technical challenges were identified. Learning success was supported by the appeal of the media, the teacher's facilitative role, and a conducive classroom environment. This study affirms that the integration of technology in listening learning has the potential to create more active and meaningful learning experiences for elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance Disclosure and Good Corporate Governance on corporate financial performance, as well as to examine the role of ESG investors as a moderating variable. In this study, GCG is proxied by independent commissioners and audit committees, while financial performance is measured using ROA. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from financial statements, annual reports, and sustainability reports of companies in the basic and chemical industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022–2024. The study sample consists of 22 companies with a total of 66 observations selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis in this study was conducted using EViews 12. The analytical methods employed include multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that ESG disclosure and the audit committee do not have a significant effect on financial performance, whereas independent directors have a positive and significant effect. Furthermore, ESG investors only moderate the relationship between the audit committee and financial performance, but do not moderate the relationship between ESG disclosure and independent directors on financial performance. These findings suggest that internal oversight mechanisms through independent directors are more effective in improving financial performance compared to ESG practices. This study provides empirical evidence regarding the importance of strengthening corporate governance and improving the quality of ESG implementation in supporting corporate financial performance.

Abstract

Child development during elementary school is a crucial phase in the development of cognitive, social, and emotional abilities, which serve as the foundation for subsequent growth. Cognitive-wise, children experience improvements in logical thinking, understanding concrete concepts, and solving simple problems in an organized manner. Socially, children begin to learn to interact more broadly with peers, understand norms, and develop cooperation and empathy. Emotionally, children begin to recognize, regulate, and express feelings more appropriately, although they still require guidance from their surroundings. This study aims to examine in depth the development of elementary school-aged children in these three aspects and their relationship to the learning process. The method used is a literature review by analyzing various relevant sources using a qualitative approach. The findings of this study indicate that cognitive, social, and emotional development are interrelated and influence children's learning success. Therefore, an active role is needed from teachers and parents in creating an environment that can support children's optimal development.
