Abstract

The implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in the Merdeka Curriculum requires teachers to conduct measurable and student-centered learning evaluations. However, teachers still face difficulties in monitoring individual student achievement, maintaining student engagement, and conducting efficient assessments during classroom learning. This study aims to analyze the utilization of technology as an effective learning medium in supporting the implementation of OBE at SMA Negeri 4 Bone. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using field observation data derived from PLP II reports, classroom observations, teaching practices, and learning documentation. Data collection techniques included participatory observation, documentation, and analysis of teaching modules and learning media. The findings indicate that the use of Smart TV, PowerPoint presentations, instructional videos, Quizizz, and Google Forms enhanced student participation, increased learning interaction, and facilitated teachers in conducting formative assessments. Digital assessment platforms also enabled teachers to identify students’ learning outcomes more accurately through KKTP-based evaluation and remedial classification. Therefore, technology utilization not only functions as a visual aid but also becomes a strategic instrument in supporting data-based learning evaluation within the OBE framework.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of Asbabun Nuzul in understanding the principles of Qur’anic interpretation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. The data were collected from the Qur’an, tafsir books, Ulumul Qur’an books, academic books, and relevant scientific articles. The findings show that Asbabun Nuzul has an important position in the process of Qur’anic interpretation. It helps explain the background of revelation, clarify meaning, prevent interpretive errors, and connect the historical context with the universal message of the Qur’an. Asbabun Nuzul also plays an important role in understanding the principle of al-‘ibrah bi ‘umum al-lafz la bi khusus al-sabab, which means that the lesson is taken from the general wording of the verse, not only from the specific cause of revelation. Therefore, Asbabun Nuzul does not only function as historical information, but also as a methodological tool in tafsir. This study confirms that understanding Asbabun Nuzul is essential for developing Qur’anic interpretation that is systematic, contextual, scientific, and academically accountable.

Abstract

Learning to write poetry at the Vocational High School (SMK) level still faces various problems, such as low student interest, limited creativity, and the use of learning methods that tend to be conventional and oriented towards the final result. These conditions cause students to be less actively involved and unable to express ideas in depth. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, as well as obstacles and solutions in implementing the deep learning approach in poetry writing learning in grade 11 of SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and document analysis with validity techniques using triangulation of sources, methods, and theories. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the deep learning approach can increase student engagement through exploration, reflection, and contextual activities. Students become more active, creative, and are able to increase personal experiences in writing poetry. Despite obstacles such as limited time and student readiness, the solutions implemented by teachers can optimize the learning process.

Abstract

his study aims to analyze the implementation of digital-based Social Studies (IPS) learning and its relationship with student engagement in elementary school. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach supported by simple quantitative data. The subjects of this study were a fourth-grade teacher and students at SD Negeri 04 Sikabu, Agam Regency. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that digital-based IPS learning was implemented effectively through the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PJBL), supported by digital media such as learning videos, PowerPoint presentations, and Quizizz applications. The learning process was active, contextual, and able to enhance student engagement. Questionnaire results indicated a percentage of 85.83% in the very high category, showing that students responded positively to digital-based learning. However, several challenges were identified, including limited technological facilities, unstable internet access, and differences in student abilities. Therefore, differentiated learning strategies and optimization of instructional media are needed to improve the effectiveness of the learning process. In conclusion, digital-based IPS learning has a positive contribution to improving student engagement in elementary schools.

Abstract

Learning planning often falls into rigid administrative routines, failing to accommodate the dynamics of student needs in the digital era. This research aims to analyze creative learning planning strategies that accommodate diverse learning styles and evaluate the effectiveness of project-based learning and design thinking methods in instructional design. This study employs library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through documentation studies of primary sources, such as educational regulations, and secondary sources, including reputable journals and scientific books. Content analysis and thematic analysis were applied to interpret the findings. The results indicate that creative learning planning integrates five main pillars: material flexibility, media variety, interactive scenarios, instructional differentiation, and authentic evaluation. The integration of technology and the "Adaptive-Cultural Planning" concept was found to significantly increase students' intrinsic motivation and engagement. This study concludes that educators must shift their role from information providers to experience designers to create an inclusive and explorative learning ecosystem.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of teacher-student interaction on learning outcomes through learning motivation as an intervening variable in seventh-grade students at the UPTD of SMP Negeri 4 Pematangsiantar in the 2025/2026 academic year. Using a quantitative approach with path analysis, data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then processed using SPSS 26. The results showed that teacher-student interaction had a positive and significant effect on learning motivation (R-square = 0.320). Furthermore, teacher-student interaction and learning motivation simultaneously had a strong influence on learning outcomes (R-square = 0.704). Based on hypothesis testing and the Sobel test, learning motivation was found to significantly mediate the effect of teacher-student interaction on learning outcomes. In conclusion, the more effective the interaction between teachers and students, supported by high learning motivation, the more optimal the learning outcomes achieved by students. This demonstrates the importance of pedagogical and psychological aspects in improving academic achievement.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of self-confidence and the teacher's role on social studies participation among eighth-grade students at UPTD SMP Negeri 7 Pematangsiantar (2025/2026). Using a quantitative approach, a sample of 144 students was selected via the Slovin formula. Data were collected through validated questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-tests, and F-tests. Results indicate that self-confidence significantly influences participation tcount 6.870 > ttable 1.977; sig. 0.000). Similarly, the teacher's role exhibits a positive, significant effect. Simultaneously, both variables significantly impact student engagement Fcount 179.088 > Ftable 3.06; sig. 0.000). These findings suggest that higher student self-confidence combined with an optimized teacher's role leads to increased participation in social studies learning. This research underscores the importance of psychological and pedagogical factors in fostering an active classroom environment.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by animated videos on the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at Pelita Kasih Elementary School, Singkawang, 2) determine whether there is an effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by animated videos on the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at Pelita Kasih Elementary School, Singkawang, 3) determine how much influence the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by animated videos on the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at Pelita Kasih Elementary School, Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative research with an experimental method. The research design used is a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at Pelita Kasih Elementary School, Singkawang, with a sample of 22 students taken using the total sampling technique. The prerequisite test used was the Shapiro-Wilk normality test. The results of the normality test showed that the pretest significance value was 0.213 and the posttest significance value was 0.318, both of which were greater than 0.05, indicating a normal distribution. Hypothesis testing used a paired sample t-test. The results showed that the average pretest score was 29.45 and the average posttest score was 76.27, with a mean difference of 46.82. The t-test results obtained a calculated t-value of 18.631 with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, so the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Furthermore, the effect size test results obtained a Cohen's d value of 3.972, which is in the very high category.

Abstract

This study systematically examines the relationship between the implementation of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model and the expose time (duration of implementation) and learning activeness of elementary school students. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA protocol. Data were collected from Google Scholar, DOAJ, SINTA, and ResearchGate databases, with a publication range of 2019–2026. Three main findings emerged. First, the Jigsaw model consistently improves the learning activeness and outcomes of elementary school students across various subjects with an average increase in activeness ranging from 8% to 55% and average cognitive score gains of 12–20 points. Second, expose time acts as a moderating factor: implementations shorter than five hours fail to produce optimal effects, while implementations longer than fifteen hours risk inducing boredom; thus, a range of 9–15 lesson hours appears to yield the most stable improvements. Third, the relationship between expose time and learning activeness is non-linear, resembling an inverted U-curve. This study recommends that elementary school teachers design Jigsaw implementations with measured duration, supported by training in the expert and co-teaching phases as well as integration of interactive media.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of guidance and counseling services, identify students' moral problems, and explain how guidance and counseling was implemented to address these problems at MTsN 15 Jombang. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data validity was strengthened through source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings show that guidance and counseling services were implemented through individual counseling, group counseling, direct advice, character building, and collaboration with homeroom teachers and Islamic Education teachers. The students' moral problems included low discipline, impolite behavior toward teachers and peers, violations of school rules, and weak awareness of moral values in daily life. These problems were influenced by peer environment, family conditions, and low self-control. The implementation of guidance and counseling involved personal approaches, motivation, religious coaching, and coordinated school support. The study confirms that guidance and counseling plays a strategic role in strengthening students' moral character when implemented systematically, educationally, and continuously.
