Abstract

Soal cerita dalam pembelajaran matematika memiliki kesulitan tersendiri karena memerlukan pemahaman mendalam yang tidak hanya terhadap konsep matematika tetapi juga informasi yang disajikan dalam konteks dan dalam format naratif. Padahal pembelajaran matematika dapat berguna dalam kehidupan sehari hari. Penyelesaian permasalahan matematika dalam kehidupan sehari hari biasanya disajikan dalam bentuk soal cerita. Oleh karenya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika pecahan dan strategi guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Sample penelitian ditentukan menggunakan teknik non-random sampling Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kesulitan siswa kelas III SD Negeri Siderejo dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika materi pecahan adalah disebabkan oleh konsep cerita pada materi pecahan matematika yang masih bersifat abstrak, sehingga apabila siswa tidak memiliki kemampuan membaca dan memahami teks maka siswa tersebut sangat kesulitan dalam memahami maksud dari soal cerita yang disajikan. Dengan demikian guru menerapkan strategi berupa penggunaan alat bantu visual dalam bentuk gambar, diagram atau benda konkret agar siswa lebih mudah dalam memahami maksud yang terdapat pada teks soal cerita pecahan matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject at MI Al-Falah. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that the implementation of HOTS-based learning has begun, particularly through discussions, case studies, and open-ended questions, although it is not yet fully integrated across all learning stages. Assessment practices are still largely focused on lower-order cognitive skills, although teachers have started to incorporate HOTS-based questions. Students responded positively to HOTS-oriented learning activities, showing increased enthusiasm and participation, although some still require guided practice in critical thinking. This study recommends ongoing teacher training and the development of learning strategies that foster high-order thinking from an early stage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran literasi digital sebagai pilar penguatan karakter siswa sekolah dasar melalui pendekatan studi pustaka (library research). Literasi digital dipahami tidak semata sebagai keterampilan teknis dalam mengoperasikan perangkat digital, melainkan sebagai kompetensi multidimensional yang mencakup kemampuan kognitif dan sosial-emosional dalam mengakses, memahami, serta memanfaatkan informasi secara etis dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menganalisis 31 sumber literatur yang terdiri atas jurnal ilmiah, buku, e-book, prosiding, skripsi, dan artikel akademik yang relevan, diperoleh melalui penelusuran daring dengan kata kunci: literasi digital, pendidikan karakter, siswa sekolah dasar, dan pembelajaran tematik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi literasi digital dalam proses pembelajaran, khususnya melalui pendekatan tematik, berkontribusi pada penguatan nilai-nilai karakter seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, kerja sama, toleransi, dan berpikir kritis. Literasi digital memberikan peluang bagi siswa untuk terlibat dalam pembelajaran yang kontekstual, reflektif, dan bermakna. Namun, penerapannya masih menghadapi sejumlah tantangan, antara lain keterbatasan akses teknologi, disparitas kompetensi digital guru, serta kurangnya sinergi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan kebijakan pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, literasi digital berpotensi menjadi pilar strategis dalam pembentukan karakter siswa sejak dini, dengan catatan bahwa implementasinya dilakukan secara terencana, sistematis, dan berorientasi pada nilai.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the TaRL approach to improving the learning outcomes of students in the style material of grade IV SDN Karangrejo 04 Sumbersari Jember. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) with a model design according to Kurt Lewi's opinion with the steps of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of the study were grade IV students in the 2024/2025 academic year with a total of 28 students. The data collection instrument used in the study was a learning outcome test on the style material. This study was carried out for 2 cycles where each cycle consisted of 2 meetings and 1 assessment. Data was processed in each cycle and then percentage analysis was carried out. Where the learning outcomes in the activities (pre-cycle) were 32% or 9 out of 28 students were still in the completed category, then in cycle 1 there was an increase of 61% and in cycle 2 there was a more significant increase to 82%. So it is known that the increase in the percentage of completion from cycle 1 and cycle 2 was 21%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) can improve the learning outcomes of grade IV students of SDN Karangrejo 04 Sumbersari Jember on the material on force.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SDII Luqman Al-Hakim 02 Batam dan dampaknya terhadap mutu pendidikan. Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan inisiatif baru dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia yang memberikan kebebasan kepada sekolah untuk mengembangkan kurikulum sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan potensi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif analisis. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SDII Luqman Al-Hakim 02 Batam telah meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, terutama dalam hal kreativitas, kemandirian, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi sekolah lain yang ingin mengadopsi Kurikulum Merdeka untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji secara mendalam strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan komprehensif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun, dengan fokus pada implementasinya di TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Cibadak Kabupaten Lebak. Masa prasekolah merupakan periode krusial dalam perkembangan kognitif, di mana stimulasi yang tepat dapat membentuk fondasi yang kuat untuk keberhasilan akademik dan kehidupan di masa depan. Artikel ini menguraikan secara rinci aspek-aspek perkembangan kognitif yang relevan, seperti memori, perhatian, pemecahan masalah, kemampuan berbahasa, pemikiran logis, serta kreativitas dan imajinasi. Lebih lanjut, artikel ini mengeksplorasi berbagai metode dan aktivitas pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat diterapkan di lingkungan TK Negeri Pembina Cibadak, dengan mempertimbangkan konteks lokal dan sumber daya yang tersedia. Peran aktif guru sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran yang responsif, pentingnya keterlibatan orang tua sebagai mitra pendidikan, serta penciptaan lingkungan belajar yang kaya dan mendukung juga dibahas secara mendalam. Melalui pendekatan yang holistik dan kontekstual, artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan panduan praktis bagi para pendidik dan pemangku kepentingan di TK Negeri Pembina Cibadak dalam mengoptimalkan potensi kognitif anak usia dini.

Abstract

The reality in the field shows that science teachers still use the Teacher Centered Learning (TCL) model. Teachers still dominate the learning process so that some students still look passive and are less brave in expressing ideas. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes on the concept of energy sources around us in class III of Asembakor I Elementary School using the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, there are 4 stages of activities in one round (cycle), namely planning, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. This study has 2 cycles. The third grade students of Asembakor I Elementary School who were the subjects of this study numbered 7 people. The results of this study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. Based on the pre-test results, the number of students who did not complete was 6 students (85.71%) and those who completed were 1 student (14.28%). In cycle I there was an increase, namely there were 2 students who completed (28.57%) while those who had not completed were 5 students (71.42%). Then, in cycle II there was an increase, namely there were 6 students who completed (85.71%) while those who had not completed were 1 student (14.28%). Based on these results, it shows that the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) learning model assisted by Pop-Up Book media on the understanding of the concept of science at SD Negeri 76 Palembang. The research method used is a quantitative experiment of the Quasi Experimental Design type with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were all 51 students of grade IV of SD Negeri 76 Palembang. The research sample consisted of 25 students of grade IV A as the experimental class and 26 students of grade IV B as the control class, with the sampling technique using saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were tests, questionnaires and documentation. The average posttest in the experimental class was 82.4 (high) greater than the control class 73.2 (moderate). The results of the questionnaire of 84.35% were included in the positive category. The data analysis technique used was the Independent Sample T-test. From the results of the hypothesis test with the help of the SPSS 26 program, the calculated t value was 2.799 > t table 2.009 with a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.007 (<0.05). This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) learning model assisted by Pop-Up Book media on the understanding of the concept of science at SD Negeri 76 Palembang.

Abstract

This study examines the use of the playway method with picture media to improve learning outcomes of integer number material in grade 1 students of MI Zainul Anwar. Mathematics, which is important for the development of rational, critical, creative, and innovative thinking, is often considered difficult because it is abstract, while students tend to think concretely. The playway method and image media are considered effective for making learning more fun and easy to understand, especially the concept of small numbers, by connecting numbers and real objects and facilitating learning through play and exploration. Using a descriptive qualitative approach in MI Zainul Anwar (class 1A), this study found that the playway method with picture media increased active participation, motivation, and learning outcomes, as well as making learning more meaningful, fun, and supporting cognitive, social, and motor development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning video utilization and student participation on learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 05 Gando Sulit Air. The research method used a quantitative approach with a pseudo-experimental design, involving 12 students as an experimental class (video-based learning) and 18 students as a control class by not using learning video media. Data were collected through observation of student participation and learning outcome tests, then analyzed using normality test (Shapiro-Wilk), homogeneity test (Levene's Test), independent t-test, and Pearson correlation. The results showed: (1) There is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental class (mean=93) and the control class (mean=72) with t-count=8.45 (p=0.000); (2) Student participation of the experimental class (mean=83) is significantly higher than the control class (mean=73) with t-count=7.12 (p=0.000); (3) There is a strong relationship between student participation and learning outcomes (r= 0.82; p=0.001). Regression analysis showed a combined contribution of 78% (R² = 0.78). The conclusion of this study proves that the use of learning videos significantly improves students' participation and learning outcomes. The findings support Mayer's (2009) multimedia learning theory and recommend the use of videos as an innovative learning medium in elementry schools.
