Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

The independent learning curriculum has been implemented in the third year, the first year of grades I and IV, the second year of grades II and V, and the third year of grades III and VI have been completed using the Independent Curriculum. This Independent Curriculum is very flexible to implement. The purpose of the study was to determine the form of teacher difficulties in implementing the Independent Curriculum at UPT SDN 001 Salo. The method used in this study is a descriptive narrative method with a qualitative approach. The results of this study are that there are difficulties in implementing the Independent Curriculum felt by teachers such as teacher training and readiness which are still lacking where teacher training is one cluster and then carried out independently from YouTube, many learning models are not yet known and understood by teachers so that teachers are confused about using learning models when implementing the Independent Curriculum.

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah interaksi pada pembelajaran dalam kelas relatif masih rendah dan masih berlangsung satu arah. Selain itu, kurangnya penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa cenderung pasif, tidak berani mengungkapkan pertanyaan atau pendapat dan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengikuti efektivitas penggunaan metode peta pikiran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI UPT SPF SD Negeri Melayu Kota Makassar pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kurt Lewin, yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 21 siswa kelas VI UPT SPF SD Negeri Melayu. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes, yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I, rata_rata siswa memperoleh nilai 70 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 52%. Sedangkan pada siklus II, rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat menjadi 82 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 85%. Observasi juga menunjukkan bahwa siswa lebih aktif dan termotivasi dalam pembelajaran.Berdasarkan hasil ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode peta pikiran merupakan metode pembelajaran interaktif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar.

Character education is a fundamental aspect of shaping students’ personalities from an early age, particularly at the elementary school level. This study aims to explore the relevance and effectiveness of implementing the joyfull learning method integrated with the sabaqu for muslim kids media in strengthening students’ character values such as self-confidence, cooperation, discipline, and independence. Joyfull learning emphasizes happiness, active engagement, and a joyful classroom atmosphere as the core of the learning process, while sabaqu media is designed to internalize Islamic character values through contextual and meaningful educational games. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected library research. The findings reveal that the synergy between joyfull learning and sabaqu media creates a learning process that is not only enjoyable but also effective in holistically developing students’ character. These results offer valuable implications for teachers, curriculum developers, and educational institutions to adopt learning models that align academic, moral, and emotional aspects of students.

Abstrak Proses budaya untuk meningkatkan martabat dan harkat manusia dikenal sebagai pendidikan, yang berlangsung sepanjang hidup manusia. Pendidikan Islam harus dipadukan dengan sesuatu yang tradisional dan modern seiring perkembangan zaman. K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid adalah salah satu tokoh perkembangan intelektual yang membentuk pendidikan Islam klasik dan pendidikan Barat modern. Dia berusaha memadukan kedua jenis pendidikan, yaitu pendidikan Islam klasik dan pendidikan Barat modern, tetapi tetap memperhatikan esensi ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka, dan sumbernya adalah pemikiran pendidikan Islam K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan informasi melalui bacaan dan membahas konsep pendidikan Islam dalam pemikirannya. Penulis penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandangan K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid tentang pendidikan Islam terdiri dari tiga tujuan: pendidikan Islam berbasis modernisme, pendidikan Islam berbasis kebebasan, dan pendidikan Islam berbasis kebhinekaan. Kedua pemikiran ini relevan dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam. K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid juga mengatakan bahwa pendidikan Islam menggunakan empat strategi: sosiopolitik, kultural, sosiokultural, dan pedagogis. Kata kunci: Konsep, Pendidikan Islam, K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid

Digital transformation demands that teachers possess digital literacy competencies to create relevant and innovative learning experiences. However, in the Supervision Region IV of Comal Subdistrict, Pemalang Regency, these competencies remain low. Existing academic supervision practices are conventional and have yet to effectively address teachers' technological needs. This study aims to develop a coaching-based academic supervision model supported by digital platforms to enhance elementary school teachers’ digital literacy. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The study involved elementary school teachers as research subjects, using questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation as instruments. The findings reveal that: (1) teachers require a more flexible supervision model that supports digital literacy enhancement; (2) the TIRTA coaching model supported by digital platforms (e.g., Zoom/Google Meet) was successfully designed to meet these needs; (3) the feasibility test confirmed the model's validity and practicality for implementation; and (4) the model effectively improved teacher competencies in the four pillars of digital literacy: digital skills, digital ethics, digital safety, and digital culture. This study recommends the implementation of coaching-based academic supervision supported by digital platforms as a strategic approach to developing teacher competencies in the digital era and strengthening the principal’s role as a transformational leader.

The human reproductive system is an important component of basic science education that covers biological, psychological, social, and health aspects. This article aims to examine, the composition and operation of the reproductive systems in both men and women, as well as the puberty process, teaching challenges in primary schools, and relevant innovations in reproductive education. The discussion is strengthened with case studies and educational approaches that are in accordance with local religious and cultural values. Data are derived from student group presentations and supported by current academic literature. This review emphasizes the importance of age-appropriate, compassion-based, and value-based approaches in reproductive health education.

It is known that since the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which is a new curriculum in the school environment, the level of student learning achievement is still relatively poor or low. This is indicated by the inconsistency of learning scores with the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) that has been set, which is 70. Based on data obtained from class III-B teachers, out of a total of 30 students, only 10 students were able to achieve scores above the KKM. Meanwhile, most students, namely 20 people, still obtained scores below the specified completion limit. This finding indicates that further evaluation is needed in the learning process and curriculum implementation so that student learning outcomes can be improved as much as possible. Based on observation experience during the School Field Introduction (PLP) 2 period in class III of UPTD_SDN Pejagan 1 Bangkalan, it is known that students understand better using learning media than just using a blackboard. The use of learning media is very minimal by teachers at UPTD SDN Pejagan 1 Bangkalan, especially in mathematics subjects due to the limited learning media in schools, making students find it difficult to understand the material on whole numbers, as seen from the way students respond when learning begins, they are more active in using learning media than just using a blackboard.This research aims to determine the effect of whole number subtraction board (BILCA) learning media on the learning outcomes of class III students in mathematics at UPTD SDN Pejagan 1 Bangkalan. Based on the output obtained sig 0.000 < 0.05 so it can be concluded that this shows that there is an average difference between research subjects and the whole number reduction board (BILCA) learning media on the learning outcomes of class III students. This is proven by the results of students' test questions regarding subtraction of whole numbers which were obtained based on the output that had been tested and obtained data descriptions that had a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05. So there is an influence of whole number subtraction board learning media on student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons in class III UPTD SDN Pejagan 1 Bangkalan.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh keterampilan motorik halus anak belum berkembang secara optimal terutama dalam kegiatan menggunakan gunting, memegang pensil dan menarik garis dengan benar, mewarnai gambar masih belum rapi. Penggunaan media guru dalam mengembangkan motorik halus di Taman Kanak-kanak kurang lentur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kegiatan finger painting pada Paper Cup terhadap perkembangan motorik halus anak di Taman Kanak-kanak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak Taman Kanak-kanak Bhayangkari 3 Padang, dengan sampelnya yaitu kelas B3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas B1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing kelas berjumlah 15 anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas,uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan tabel uji hipotesis pada kolom sig. (2-tailed) diperoleh nilai sig 0,000. Nilai tersebut menunjukkan bahwa 0,000< 0,05. Sesuai dengan kriteria pengukuran pada uji hipotesis, apabila diperoleh nilai sig < 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kegiatan finger painting pada Paper Cup memiliki pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap keterampilan motorik halus anak di Taman Kanak-kanak.

Writing skills are very important for students' personal development, it seems that fourth grade students do not enjoy teaching writing skills. Fourth grade students face problems in the use of punctuation marks and capital letters. This study aims to determine whether scrapbooks are a learning tool that might be of interest to fourth grade students. This research examines the use of scrapbooks on the writing skills of MI Haji Hasyim students, how their writing skills develop after using scrapbooks, the obstacles teachers face in carrying out learning, and the advantages of scrapbooks, namely helping students learn new vocabulary through games. This type of descriptive qualitative research was used in this research to explain how effective the use of Scrapbook media is on students' writing abilities in the fourth grade of elementary school. Data collection was carried out through observation, documentation and interviews. In their data analysis, researchers used the Miles and Huberman model to analyze their data, reduce it, describe it, and draw conclusions. Qualitative data is analyzed in stages until it becomes complete data. The research results show that teachers must update the activities to be carried out and issue scrapbook media based on the results of students' LKPD in class IV. Of the 23 students, there are some who are not yet skilled in writing. Teachers also face problems due to lack of attention and encouragement of students' interest in learning. Apart from that, students are less fluent in reading and writing at the previous level.

Bahasa Indonesia merupakan aspek terpenting dalam dunia pendidikan. Dimana bahasa mempunyai peranan terpenting yang menjadi fondasi utama peserta didik dalam memahami berbagai bidang pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa SDN Srengseng Sawah 12 Pagi melalui kartu suku kata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes pemahaman, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penilaian yang telah dilakukan penelitian ini dapat dikatakan berhasil apabila mencapai persentase 66%-79% dengan kategori baik. Dengan demikian, kemampuan membaca siswa kelas I SDN Srengseng Sawah 12 Pagi, kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa melalui media kartu suku kata dapat dikatakan berhasil karena secara klasikal, penilaian pada siklus akhir mencapai persentase hingga 92%.
