Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

Each culture teaches a different way of thinking and behaving and this becomes one of the determining factors for success in communication. These cultural differences can affect various aspects, including the way a person communicates. This research aims to examine how socio-cultural influences in speech learning. This research is a qualitative research that uses literature study research method. Data sources come from journal articles that are relevant to the research topic. The data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman data analysis technique. The results showed that culture plays a crucial role in shaping individual communication styles as well as in interpreting the messages conveyed. Each culture has unique communication norms that influence the structure, delivery and interpretation of speech. Understanding and appreciating cultural diversity in the communication process allows students to express their thoughts and feelings more intelligently and according to the situation at hand. Keywords: communication, socio-culture, speech Setiap budaya mengajarkan cara berpikir dan berperilaku yang berbeda dan hal ini menjadi salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan dalam komunikasi. Perbedaan budaya ini dapat mempengaruhi berbagai aspek, termasuk cara seseorang berkomunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pengaruh sosial budaya dalam pembelajaran berpidato. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode penelitian studi literatur. Sumber data berasal dari artikel jurnal yang relavan dengan topik penelitian. Data dianalis dengan teknik analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa udaya memainkan peran krusial dalam membentuk gaya komunikasi individu serta dalam menafsirkan pesan yang disampaikan. Setiap budaya memiliki norma komunikasi yang unik yang memengaruhi struktur, penyampaian, dan interpretasi pidato. Memahami dan menghargai keanekaragaman budaya dalam proses komunikasi memungkinkan siswa untuk mengekspresikan pikiran dan perasaan mereka dengan lebih cerdas dan sesuai dengan situasi yang ada. This research is motivated by technological advances that give birth to innovations in learning. One of the innovations in learning is in terms of teaching materials that support students to learn independently, can be used anytime and anywhere, then adjust the needs and characteristics of students. Based on the results of observations that have been carried out in 4 schools, namely SDN 02 Lubuk Alung, SDN 15 Lubuk Alung, SDN 17 Lubuk Alung and SDN 04 Enam Lingkung, it was found that almost the same problem is that the school still does not utilize technology to the fullest. Schools still use teaching materials or printed modules that are not equipped with animations, pictures and videos so that students feel bored easily. Learning is still teacher-centered until it is monotonous. To overcome this, an E-Module was developed using a RADEC-based Flip PDF Corporate application assisted by mind maps on the human digestive system material in grade V of elementary school. This research aims to develop an E-Module using a RADEC-based Flip PDF Corporate application assisted by mind maps on valid and practical human digestive system materials. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, application, and evaluation. The validity test by material, media and language experts was declared to be very valid with an average validator score of 93.33%. Based on the teacher's response and the response of students at 2 school The trial showed that the E-Module was very practical in learning with an average of 92.5% and 96.4%. Meanwhile, the percentage of responses of teachers and students in research schools to E-Modules is very practical with an average of 97.5% and 96.8%. So it can be concluded that the E-Module using the RADEC-based Flip PDF Corporate application assisted by mind map on the human digestive system material in grade V elementary school is very valid and very practical to use in learning.

This study was conducted because of the low reading ability of students, students tend to be less enthusiastic, get bored quickly, and are less interested in reading, Lack of use of interesting media during the ongoing learning process. This study aims to improve the reading ability of grade 2 students of SDN Karanganyar II Paiton in the Indonesian language subject on the use of capital letters using illustrated media in the form of Smart Magazine.The research method used is classroom action research. The subjects of the study were students in grade 2 of SDN Karanganyar II totaling 11 students. The study was conducted in 2 cycles, in each cycle there were 2 meetings in classroom action research there were 4 stages (planning, activities, observation, and reflection) throughout the process of the two cycles. By collecting data through instruments in the form of tests used to test competency achievement or conduct assessments. This study was conducted with 2 cycles starting from February 10, 2025 to February 18, 2025.The results showed that students' reading ability always increased. In the first cycle stage, the percentage of students' reading ability reached 45.45% with 5 students completing the course. In cycle II, students' reading ability increased to 90.90% with the number of students who completed reaching 10 students. The increase in reading ability occurred because the researcher used learning media in the form of Smart Magazine.

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Kramat 1, Cirebon City, in the Science subject with the topic “Human Digestive System” through the use of 3D-based Augmented Reality (AR) learning media using the Assemblr Edu application. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test, post-test, cycle 1, and cycle 2 approach, involving 25 students over 6 weeks. Data were collected through cognitive tests, observations, and interviews. The results showed a significant increase in the average student scores from 64.48 in the pre-test to 85.20 in the post-test, 89.64 in cycle 1, and 96.56 in cycle 2. Observations and interviews indicated that AR media enhanced student motivation and engagement. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that 3D-based AR learning media is effective in improving students’ cognitive learning outcomes.

Rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA menuntut diterapkannya model pembelajaran yang mendorong keaktifan dan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media interaktif PhET Simulation terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi Rangkaian Listrik. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan desain non-equivalent control group design di SDN 33 Mataram. Sampel ditentukan melalui teknik sampling jenuh, dengan kelas VI A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VI B sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji independent samples t-test dan uji N-Gain. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa nilai (6,752) > (2,010), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan model PBL berbantuan PhET Simulation terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,578 berada dalam kategori sedang, menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang cukup efektif. Dengan demikian, model PBL berbantuan media PhET Simulation terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah IPA.

This study aims to improve scientific literacy in science learning by using a socio-scientific learning model based on projects on environmental issues that threaten the lives of fifth grade students. The study was conducted using the Kemmis & McTaggart (1988) classroom action research (CAR) method consisting of 4 stages, namely planning (plan), action (act), observation (observe), and reflection (reflect). The subjects of this study were 20 fifth grade students of SD Islam Nurus Syamsi consisting of 12 male students and 8 female students. This study was conducted in 2 cycles and each cycle had 1 meeting. The criteria for passing science literacy skills with a score of 33.3% - 66.6% are in the medium category and for scores above 66.6-100% are in the high category. The results of this study indicate a change in the results of improving science literacy skills. In cycle II, the results of science literacy skills increased from the previous cycle, increasing in cycle II, namely with an average of 80.25, which is included in the good category.

This study aims to analyze the strategy for improving educational quality based on Total Quality Management (TQM) at MTs Al-Azhar Samarinda. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to examine the implementation of the three core principles of TQM: customer focus, continuous improvement, and employee involvement. The findings indicate that MTs Al-Azhar has adopted these principles by delivering educational services that emphasize student and parent satisfaction, conducting regular program evaluations, and involving teachers and staff in quality management. Despite challenges such as limited resources and resistance to change, the strategy has proven effective in fostering a quality culture and gradually improving educational standards.

This research endeavors to examine the impact of employing Explosion Box learning media on enhancing student learning achievements in Natural Science (IPA) subjects on energy sources in class IV SDN 1 Luwe Hulu. The rationale for this study stems from the limited student engagement and learning achievements attributed to the application of traditional, less interactive pedagogical approaches. The research methodology employed a pre-experimental framework with a quantitative orientation, utilizing a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample consisted of 22 students, and data was collected through observation and multiple choice tests. The statistical analysis outcomes, derived from the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test, demonstrated a notable improvement in learning achievements, indicated by a significance level of <0.001. The average student score increased from 49.59 (pretest) to 94.77 (posttest). The percentage of learning implementation reached 90.22%, which shows that Explosion Box media is effective in creating interactive and meaningful learning. These findings indicate that the Explosion Box is able to increase students' motivation, engagement, and understanding, and is recommended as an innovative media in science learning at the elementary school level.

This research was motivated by the low ability of deep learning of students in learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in class VA SDN 35 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of students in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) through the application of a deep learning approach in class V SDN 35 Pekanbaru. This research is a class action research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles with a subject of 24 students. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed a significant increase in the learning outcomes of students in each cycle. The average score of students increased from 74.6 to 80 in cycle 1 and continued to increase in cycle 2 to 94. Through this research, it can be seen that the deep learning approach is effective in improving concept understanding and active involvement of students in IPAS learning.

This research is motivated by the low interest and learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN Wanacala on Cultural Heritage material in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject. Learning that is still dominated by conventional methods tends to be less able to attract students' attention, resulting in decreased motivation and enthusiasm in participating in the learning process. To overcome these problems, this study aims to develop Mystery Box media on Cultural Heritage material for fifth grade elementary school students and evaluate its effectiveness in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, encompassing Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The subjects were fifth-grade students at SDN Wanacala. Data collection instruments included media and material expert validation sheets, student and teacher response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results indicated that the developed Mystery Box media was categorized as highly feasible, with validation scores of 95.4% from media experts and 91.4% from material experts. Positive responses were also shown by teachers and students, with percentages of 93.8% and 88.8%, respectively. Paired Sample T-Test analysis yielded a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. N-Gain calculations showed an improvement in learning outcomes within the medium category, specifically 0.688 for large scale. Therefore, the Mystery Box media is effective and suitable for use in teaching the Cultural Heritage material in IPAS to enhance the cognitive learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Wanacala.
