Abstract

The transformation of quality culture in primary schools has become a strategic necessity in the era of Merdeka Belajar (Freedom to Learn), where educational institutions are expected to function as centers of reflective, autonomous, and data-driven learning. This study aims to describe the process of transforming the quality culture at SDN Jatibarang 01 Semarang through the integration of data from the Rapor Pendidikan (Education Report) into the PPEPP-based quality management cycle (Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement). A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing participatory observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the school has fostered a collaborative and participatory culture of quality through the strengthening of professional learning communities, transformational leadership, and the effective use of the Rapor Pendidikan as a basis for decision-making. The main challenges identified include inconsistencies in program implementation and limited parental involvement. These findings contribute to the discourse on data-driven quality management practices in primary education and enrich the literature on institutional culture transformation in schools.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the difficulties of students in writing explanatory texts in Elementary Schools. Students often experience confusion when starting to write, have difficulty developing ideas, and do not fully understand the structure of explanatory texts. This study aims to describe the use of concept map media in learning to write explanatory texts and analyze students' responses to the media. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with subjects of teachers and grade V students of SDN Kalimanggis. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation of students' writing results. The results of the study show that concept map media provides a clear structure and helps students in compiling information coherently and logically. Students find it easier to understand cause-and-effect relationships and are more confident in writing because they have concrete guidance in the form of keywords. Of the 35 students, 30 showed an increase in writing skills, both in terms of understanding the structure of the text (general statements, explanatory sequences, and conclusions), content integration, writing mechanics, and logical sequences in the explanation. This media also helps students in linking the contents of the writing with real events that they often encounter, such as natural phenomena. Thus, the use of concept map media is considered effective in improving explanatory text writing skills while making it easier for students to develop ideas systematically and in a directed manner in learning Indonesian Writing explanatory texts in elementary schools. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan peserta didik dalam menulis teks eksplanasi di Sekolah Dasar. Peserta didik sering mengalami kebingungan saat memulai menulis, kesulitan mengembangkan ide, serta belum memahami struktur teks eksplanasi secara utuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media peta konsep dalam pembelajaran menulis teks eksplanasi serta menganalisis respons peserta didik terhadap media tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek guru dan peserta didik kelas V SDN Kalimanggis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi hasil tulisan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media peta konsep memberikan struktur yang jelas dan membantu peserta didik dalam menyusun informasi secara runtut dan logis. Peserta didik lebih mudah memahami hubungan sebab-akibat serta lebih percaya diri dalam menulis karena memiliki panduan yang konkret berupa kata kunci. Dari 35 peserta didik, sebanyak 30 orang menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan menulis, baik dari segi pemahaman struktur teks (pernyataan umum, deretan penjelas, dan penutup), keterpaduan isi, mekanik penulisan maupun urutan logis dalam penjelasan. Media ini juga membantu peserta didik dalam mengaitkan isi tulisan dengan peristiwa nyata yang sering mereka jumpai, seperti fenomena alam. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media peta konsep dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi sekaligus mempermudah peserta didik dalam mengembangkan ide secara sistematis dan terarah dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Menulis teks eksplanasi di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (IRE) plays a strategic role in shaping students' religious behavior from the elementary school level. This study aims to explore the role of IRE teachers in enhancing students’ religious behavior at SD Negeri 5 Sawa through contextual and applicable learning strategies. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants included teachers, students, and parents. The findings reveal a significant improvement in students’ religious behavior following the replacement of the IRE teacher, reflected in their discipline in performing prayers, participation in religious activities, politeness, honesty, and social awareness. Teachers acted as educators, motivators, and role models in developing students’ religious character through habituation, motivation, and exemplary conduct. The results highlight the importance of teacher competence in creating a religious and conducive learning environment. This study recommends strengthening IRE teacher training and developing a curriculum that supports sustainable character formation in elementary schools. Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk perilaku religius peserta didik sejak jenjang sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran guru PAI dalam meningkatkan perilaku religius siswa di SD Negeri 5 Sawa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan aplikatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Informan terdiri dari guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah pergantian guru PAI, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek religiusitas siswa, seperti disiplin dalam beribadah, aktif mengikuti kegiatan keagamaan, sopan santun, kejujuran, dan kepedulian sosial. Guru berperan sebagai pendidik, motivator, dan teladan dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa melalui pembiasaan, penguatan motivasi, dan keteladanan. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya kompetensi guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang religius dan kondusif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan pelatihan guru PAI serta pengembangan kurikulum yang mendukung pembentukan karakter religius secara berkelanjutan di sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Perilaku religius, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, sekolah dasar, karakter peserta didik, pembelajaran kontekstual, keteladanan guru, pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement in the learning outcomes of third-grade students using the Project Based Learning model on the topic of natural and artificial phenomena in my area. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of several stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research is located at SD Inpres Oepura 2, Jin Kenanga, Naikolan, Maulafa District, Kota Kupang, with the subjects of the study being all students of class 3A at SD Inpres Oepura 2, totaling 23 students. The data collection techniques used by the researcher are: observation techniques, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results of the data analysis show that students' learning outcomes through the application of the Project Based Learning model have improved. This is evidenced by the average completion rate of third-grade students in cycle I, where the completion percentage was 43.47% (10 students completed) and in cycle II, the completion percentage was 100% (23 students completed). Another improvement observed was the students' activity in class, which was measured using the observation sheet prepared by the researcher. From the results of the above research, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of third-grade students at Oepura 2 Public Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Augmented Reality-based learning media called Big Book to improve learning outcomes of solar system material in grade VI of the Borg and Gall development model through 8 stages. First, the needs and problems analysis stage. Second, the data collection stage includes interviews, observations, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Third, media product design. Fourth, the expert validation stage. Fifth, product revision. Sixth, the small-scale trial stage. Seventh, the final product assessment stage. Eighth, the large-scale trial stage. This study was limited to grade VI students of SDN Cepoko in Semarang City. The results showed that Big Book was included in the 'Very Eligible' criteria for use in learning based on the results of expert validation and materials. The completeness of student learning outcomes also increased significantly with the N-Gain value in the 'Medium' criteria. Big Book was assessed with teacher and student responses included in the 'Very Practical' criteria for use in science learning.

Abstract

Pendidikan informal berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter religius pesertadidik, khususnya dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di luarsekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan konsep dasar pendidikaninformal, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta merumuskanstrategi pengendalian mutu yang efektif. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptifmelalui studi pustaka, ditemukan bahwa pendidikan informal yang berpusat padakeluarga dan lingkungan sangat berpengaruh terhadap internalisasi nilaikeagamaan. Faktor pendukung meliputi peran orang tua, budaya lokal religius,dan pemanfaatan media digital. Adapun hambatannya adalah kurangnyastandarisasi, evaluasi, fasilitas, dan pengaruh lingkungan negatif. Strategipengendalian mutu meliputi penguatan peran keluarga, kurikulum kontekstual,komunitas keagamaan, dan evaluasi berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the meaning of pocket money in shaping the lifestyle construction of students (santri) at Pondok Pesantren Sains Salman Assalam, from the perspective of Islamic economics. The unique consumption patterns of students within the pesantren environment are examined to understand how pocket money functions not merely as a medium of exchange but also as a determinant of consumption behavior, value preferences, and identity formation. Employing a qualitative approach with an interpretative phenomenological method, the research involves students as primary subjects who directly experience the dynamics of pocket money usage in daily life. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that pocket money carries various symbolic meanings, ranging from a form of parental affection, a medium for social status affirmation, to a means of fostering financial independence and management based on Islamic principles. Students' lifestyles are shaped by a combination of pesantren values, peer influence, and access to pocket money, resulting in a consumption pattern that is moderate, selective, and sometimes contradictory to the simplicity values taught. The study concludes that strengthening Islamic financial literacy within pesantren is essential for character development. It is recommended that pesantren authorities and families actively participate in educating students about prudent and value-based financial management. Abstract

This research aims to explore the process of internalizing mardhatillah values in shaping students' character at SD IT Alam Garut. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving school principals, teachers, students, and parents. The findings reveal that the internalization process takes place through exemplary behavior by teachers, consistent religious routines, integration of values into the curriculum, and the establishment of a value-based school culture. Students exhibit positive character traits such as honesty, responsibility, discipline, and empathy, which are rooted in spiritual awareness. However, challenges arise in sustaining these values outside the school due to limited parental involvement and inconsistent reinforcement at home. The school leadership plays a crucial role in ensuring that the vision of mardhatillah remains the foundation of educational programs and institutional policies. Overall, the internalization of mardhatillah values at SD IT Alam Garut contributes effectively to the development of students’ character, although it requires stronger synergy between school and family to maintain consistency in students’ moral behavior across contexts. Abstract

Development of Evaluation Test Questions Using Wordwall on the Material of Regional Language Diversity in Indonesia. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research aims to develop, test the feasibility and test the effectiveness of the product. This research was conducted at SDN Cijujung 01 in class IV-A, totaling 32 students with the learning year in the even semester of 2024/2025. This research conducted a needs analysis by making observation instrument sheets, interviews, questionnaire assessments from media experts, linguists, material experts by lecturers, material experts by class teachers, teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the learning evaluation test questions using wordwall in class IV-B SDN Cijujung 01 based on the average validation assessment of media experts obtained 100%, language experts obtained 96%, material experts by lecturers obtained 94% and material experts by teachers obtained 97% which was included in the “very feasible” category. The results of the student response questionnaire obtained 94% in the “very good” category and the average N-Gain score value obtained 0.66 in the moderate category. Based on the above results, it shows that the learning evaluation test questions using wordwall were developed to make learning more interesting and can improve student learning outcomes so that this learning is very feasible to use in schools. Abstract

his study aims to describe elementary school students’ understanding of character values in social studies learning integrated into the IPAS (Science and Social Science) subject, as well as to identify supporting factors, challenges, and the implementation of these values in the classroom. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was used, conducted at SDN 009 Sendayan. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that most students understood character values such as responsibility, cooperation, and honesty, although their application varied among individuals. Influencing factors included family environment, school culture, and teaching methods used. Challenges faced included the lack of consistency in applying values outside the classroom and the influence of social media. In conclusion, IPAS learning holds significant potential in instilling character values but requires systematic strategies and support from all parties to ensure holistic and sustainable character development in students.
